Perspectives on Shame among Palestinian Women

Sakleh, Andrea 25 November 2020 (has links)
This thesis will examine the ways in which Palestinian women in Ramallah experience and think about shame (eib). I will approach this topic with the intention of complicating the traditional anthropological narrative regarding the honor/shame dichotomy. Within studies focused on honor and shame in the Middle East, anthropologists have examined the ways that honor and shame impact men and women (Abu-Lughod 1986; Baxter 2007; Glick et.al. 2016; Harik & Marston 1996; Kanaaneh 2002; Rasmussen 2007; Zoepf 2016), yet rarely are the two concepts, especially shame, examined independently. Overarchingly, I wish to understand what Palestinian women in Ramallah think about shame, how shame manifests in their daily lives, how it is enforced, and how and why shame ideologies have shifted across generations of Palestinian women.

Estado, Educación Intercultural y Cultura Juvenil Mapuche

Rosales Malhue, René Felipe January 2013 (has links)

Řízení a vizualizace automatizovaného domu / Control and visualization of automated building

Rompotl, Zdeněk January 2009 (has links)
The automation of buildings mainly in the large and office buildings is very discussed issue in nowadays time. The advantages of automated buildings fundamentally consist in the lowering of the operation costs, more safety and the protection of property. The building can be monitored and controlled towards the proceeding processes and states. It is able to use local or remote monitoring and controlling. More comfortable controlling is next important factor. This thesis describes European installation bus EIB and its communication with visualization a control system called Control Web. Control Web communicates with the electronic security system Galaxy for complete monitoring of the whole building. The complex system ensues by the mutual link of these technologies. It is possible to lower effectively the total costs for the business among other things. The result of this project is the developed application in the system Control Web 6, which is used in the building of the company ATX, ltd. in Žďár nad Sázavou. The Visualization is targeted in the two dimensional view and 3D view, which is used very often today. Web representation is used as well because web browser is part of the every operating system. The integral part of visualization is process automatic control.

L’aide de l’Union Européenne à l’Ukraine : évolutions et perspectives des financements depuis 1991 / The European Union aid to Ukraine : evolutions and perspectives of the financing since 1991

Dobrostamat, Mariia 08 February 2018 (has links)
As an economic and political actor on the international scene, the European Union (EU) promotes its values and interests through various instruments. The EU with its institutions is the second largest donor of development aid to third countries. Since 2000 in the context of development and aid reforms, the EU has been affirming its external action while increasing its aid.By proposing a synthetic vision with an interdisciplinary and systemic approach, this thesis draws up the evolutions of and reviews the EU aid to Ukraine for the period 1991-2015. In this perspective, the EU aid is examined as a whole, including development aid above € 3,9bn and economic aid above € 8,47bn. The political (European Neighborhood Policy) and contractual framework for the EU-Ukraine cooperation mainly define aid developments. To a lesser extent, the reforms of the framework for development and aid effectiveness, as well as the EU's economic policy influence these developments, essentially in terms of aid modalities. This analysis furthers the understanding of the prospects for the EU aid to Ukraine by demonstrating that these are part of an increased use of innovative financing (blending loan-grant) and are inseparable from more effective use of the limited budgetary resources. Beyond financing, the EU could strengthen cooperation with the EIB by increasing the ceiling of the External Lending Mandate and by easing the terms of sub-sovereign lending and improve donor coordination in Ukraine through an ad hoc mechanism.
