Har behandlarens etnicitet/kultur betydelse? På spaning efter transkulturellt familjearbete / Is the ethnicity/culture of the therapist of imprtance?

Strojwas, Iwona January 2014 (has links)
The overall aim of this study is to contribute to the description and development of cross-cultural family work. Six family therapists in social services outpatient were interviewed with a focus on the importance of their own ethnicity/culture in the meeting with the families and the similarities/differences in working approach with the Swedish and immigrant families. Interviews were analyzed using qualitative method The results shows that the therapist’s ethnicity/culture are important but socio-economic classis important too. My stud shows that there are both differences and similarities in working approach with immigrant families and Swedish families. The clearest differences that emerge in working approach with immigrants are described in the categories: to inform, to meet, different values and not knowing. Similarities are described in the categories: to see the universally human, to create relationships and to ensure resources, The result also describes what is important for a new employee to think about in an areawhere many immigrants live and what cross-culture work means to family therapists.

Moniasiantuntijuus sosiaali- ja terveydenhuollon perhetyössä:monitahoarviointi Q-metodologialla

Kuorilehto, R. (Ritva) 25 March 2014 (has links)
Abstract The purpose of this study was to analyse transprofessional family work theoretically and empirically. The aim was to deepen the knowledge regarding factors, which contribute or restrain transprofessional family work. In this study the family work is the Social and Health Care collaboration with families with children. The transprofessionality is the jointly agreed assessment of the family situation and the support they need that has been formed in partnership with the professionals and the family. The study was implemented with multiple constituency evaluation with Q Methodology. The statements (N=212) of the concourse of the transprofessional family work was compressed with theoretical pattern to the Q sample (N=44), which represents the main dimensions of the study topic. The participants of the Q sessions (N=34) were selected discretionarily according to multiple constituency evaluation from all key groups, which had interests to the study topic. The Q sessions provided the Q sort and the recorded interview, which represented the subjective perspective of the each participant. Data was analysed with PQMethod-software and the result of the factor analysis formed further three factors, which illustrated the three different discourses from the transprofessional family work. The first discourse emphasized client orientation and the importance of the training and skills in the partnership between professionals and families. The second discourse highlighted the significance of the leadership in the assessment of the transprofessional family work. There were issues in the interaction between people. The third discourse highlighted the structures and processes of the collaboration, which were managed by the skillful professionals without follow-up or supervision or any special guidelines for teamwork or networking practice. According to the consensus from the discourses, a good transprofessional family work is advanced by the families experience that the encounter has been authentic and they have had the chance to be heard in an open interaction with professionals. The working practices which strenghten families´ own resources, advance commitment to common objectives. Family work must be developed by observing the services as a whole from basic services to special services. The transprofessional family work is restrained by high turnover of workers, different viewpoints in customer orientation approach, and interaction difficulties between partners. Confidentiality is not an obstacle. The increasing of staff or time resources was not seen necessary, however leadership role needs clarification. The results of this study can be utilized when developing working practices, methods and an education of the Social and Health Care transprofessional family work.

Family-work conflict, job satisfaction and burnout of working women with children

De Sousa, Vanessa Alexandre Guerra Ferreira 03 May 2013 (has links)
Work and family embody two of the most fundamental areas of adult life. The increased participation in the labour force of working women with children has had a major impact on the work and family interface. Theories of work and family have been incorporated to analyse potential relationships of conflict with undesirable work outcomes such as reduced job satisfaction and burnout. The study investigates whether work-family conflict ultimately leads to working women with children’s experiences of burnout and lower job satisfaction. The research study also explores the effects of the mother-role identity on the manifestation of family and work conflict in working women with children and posits that working women with children experience role salience differently from other working women without children. The study employed a quantitative research design using electronic self-administered questionnaires. Using the data from 545 employees in a fast-moving consumer goods industry showed that working women with children who identified closer with the mother-role identity, experienced greater work-family conflict. The mother-role identity forms a greater part of working women with children’s self than that of the employee-role identity and the results infer that role identity plays a significant role when conflict is experienced. In working women with children, strong relationships were found between family-work conflict and burnout, and moderate inverse relationships between work-family conflict and job satisfaction. Work-family conflict may ultimately lead working women with children to experience higher burnout and lower job satisfaction owing to their preoccupation with family-related responsibilities. The concept of role identity is introduced as a significant variable to consider into the work and family conflict investigation, as well as in the development of burnout and job satisfaction for working women with children. The current research also assists in understanding the work and family role integration of working women with children and provides a consolidated overview of the current work and family theories within a conceptual and unifying model. This research offers an explanatory model that outlines the relationship between the independent and dependent variables, by investigating the mechanisms by virtue of which such relationships exist. / Thesis (PhD)--University of Pretoria, 2013. / Human Resource Management / unrestricted

Skiftarbete och work-life balance inom industri och sjukvård

Åberg, Frida, Lindblad, Jannika January 2022 (has links)

Rodriguez, Celia Jaqueline Sanz January 2017 (has links)
Understood as a historical and relational process, the social heterogeneity of family work forms and agriculture production is addressed in this thesis from a perspective that take precedence by the analysis of the significant universe of the actors involved in this research. The problematization of the European immigration policy undertaken in Brazil in the 19th century was the starting point for the definition of the empirical cut. This thesis responds to the main objective of understanding how the social heterogeneity of farmers' collectives in the municipalities of Domingos Martins, Santa Teresa and Santa Leopoldina (Espírito Santo state) is constituted and which are the main social effects related to the process of classification and social distinction. Four specific objectives were built to answer this question: the first refers to an understanding of the historical conformation of the region. The second objective is more specific to agricultural practices and to socially shared meanings. A third objective was to understand the native schemes of classification, hierarchy, differentiation and social distinction. The fourth objective focuses in understanding the impacts of differentiation processes that circulate in the research context. A historical approach and ethnographic perspective oriented the methodological options. Documentary research, direct observation and application of interviews in different phases of field research between 2015 and 2016 were the most used techniques. As a result, we found that in the context of the research there are different forms of doing agriculture and ways to be a farmer that relate important schemes of production and appreciation of practices. Using these schemes, different collectives create their practices and strategies in a context in which a process flow of social classification is used to explain heterogeneity and promote distinctions. In this sense, it is noted that two plans constitute the heterogeneity: a plan that exhibits the agricultural practices and the ability of farmers to define diversified strategies based on social schemes that guide and give meaning to their actions, promoting the constitution and reproduction of heterogeneity socially significant. On the second plane of analysis, the constitution of heterogeneity revealed unequal hierarchies and opportunities among the collectives from the naturalization of differences within the principles of di-vision based on the ethnic-racial origin of the farmers and the establishment of structural distance from the rhetoric of the agriculture modernization.

UOMINI TRA PATERNITA' E LAVORO: LA SFIDA DELLA CONCILIAZIONE. STUDI DI CASO IN AZIENDE ITALIANE

BOSONI, MARIA LETIZIA 20 February 2012 (has links)
This thesis addresses the issue of the male identity and father's role transformation, in relation to the work context. The reflection on male identity is considered within the broader question of gender differences, through the contribution of men's studies; the father's role is studied in relation to the challenge of the family and work reconciliation. The empirical research is aimed to investigate how fatherhood is experienced in relation to the professional role. The work context is investigated from a specific and particular perspective: the companies. Methodologically, 3 case studies have been carried out, using a qualitative research technique, aimed both to understand the corporate culture in terms of care for employees and the personal experience of fathers. The complexity that characterizes today's context makes it difficult to separate the different aspects that constitute the social world. The ability to harmoniously integrate the different roles comes from a personal capacity to reflect on the context and actions, in order to manage the daily challenges.

Eriksson, Sara, Nässlin, Jenny January 2018 (has links)
Totalt samlades 85 enkäter in, varav 84 hade besvarats fullständigt.
