The study presented in this thesis aimed to understand , through the speeches of the students, the processes of subjectification of students , said on condition of social vulnerability in a context of production of meanings and meanings related to student assistance policies between 2009 and 2013 ; examine whether there is a relationship between the benefits of policies to support and retain its fellows Work Initiation in schooling ; understand how these subjects are constituted through power relations that traverse ; and analyze how students experience the school environment from its place on the market condition . As a backdrop to this analysis, we chose the policy of student assistance from the Federal Institute of Piauí - Teresina Central Campus, understood based on the National Student Assistance Plan (PNAES). The empirical material was collected through questionnaires and subsequently recorded and transcribed interviews with students entered into the Scholarship Program Work Initiation, as well as the Federal Institute of servers Piauí - Teresina Central Campus, the time frame 2009/2013. Research shows approaches to the field of Cultural History, by theorists such as Jacques Le Goff and Peter Burke, and also draws on Michel Foucault. The analysis of the research material obtained showed that: a) The assistance policies relate directly to students staying in school, but are not the dominant factor; b) Fellows students experience the school environment as an extension of their homes as a place of work, study, and spend some more time in school than with their families; c) Power relations are asymmetric and based on discipline, hierarchy and separation; d) During the analysis of the narratives of the stock process , you realize that there is a tension between the official discourse and the discourse of students.

The present study aimed to examine the difficulties of these fellows in the context in which it was conceived and in the run. Used as indicators of the sources of the PEF management system, external evaluations of SEADE and UNESP, legislation, studies of public policies for Scholarship Program for higher education in Brazil and the oral reports of dropouts and fellows who worked weekends in the Program. The regions chosen for interviews in the State of São Paulo were the regional representation: the capital (Board of Education - East 3), the greater São Paulo (Board of Education-Region Carapicuíba) and inside (Board of Education Region Fernandópolis). For the analysis procedures we perform and document the data collected during the interviews, we used the methodological indications of Bacellar (2005) and Toutier Bonazzi (2000), from a previously elaborated. The category experience Thompson (1981), substantiated the conduct of research, especially in regard to understanding the itinerary of subjects as participants of these programs. Thus, the results of the experiments reported and all documents examined, it was found that internal factors, external institutions, individual characteristics and conditions of the scholarship, are barriers that can hinder continuity in PBU. Seeking discuss and present the various contradictions in the documentation governing its operation, we found that dropout rates of PBU outweigh those of Brazil and the State of São Paulo. The research sought to examine the linkages between activities in schools by scholars and their academic studies in HEIs. With reports of experiences, we discover different types of silence or inadequacy of this Program / O Programa Bolsa Universidade (PBU), parte integrante do Programa Escola da Família (PEF) da Secretaria da Educação do Estado de São Paulo apresentou, nos últimos oito anos (2003-2011), altos índices de evasão.

Propuesta de Proyecto de Gestión Integral para la Construcción de una Residencia Sostenible para Estudiantes Universitarios de la UPC en el distrito de Chorrillos / Proposal for a Comprehensive Management Project for the Construction of a Sustainable Residence for University Students of the UPC in the district of Chorrillos

Chavez Estela, Kevin Antony, Sosa Loaiza, Jhaynor Joseph 10 September 2021 (has links)
In recent years due to the growth of the student population in universities by agreements with comprehensive scholarships that attract the public from other regions of the country. In agreement, a local study the increase of scholarships to migrant scholars was of 47% in the year 2015. Since then a business opportunity was created for the inhabitants of the surroundings renting rooms. These are built through self-construction processes in spaces that enable in their homes for rental destinations, despite not having adequate habitability conditions. As a consequence, many young people who emigrated from remote areas to universities were affected by the risks in these buildings due to a possible seismic risk that could lead to fatal results. Given this situation, it is necessary to generate a space intended only for students; where habitability conditions and an infrastructure adequate to the needs of university students are provided, guaranteeing their safety and well-being throughout their university life. This allows to solve a problem that can be profitable for the investor. For this, you must conduct a feasibility study that demonstrates that this type of project is profitable, generate sustainable development, provide conditions that could be a better stay for students in the university and this is reflected in their academic performance. / Tesis

Evaluating the feasibility and impact of a synchronous health technology innovation in the provision of pediatric health care in a University Hospital.

Nadar, Mahmoud 06 1900 (has links)
Delivering critical and speech-language pathology care in pediatric settings requires much hard work to reach the desired level of care for children. Several factors contribute to this problem, including resources shortage, pressing needs, and the growing number of ill children. Among the proposed solutions, many believe that synchronous telemedicine can play a role by providing virtual and immediate access to remote skills, with expertise could be made instantly available through a platform that allows efficient communication and is able to support pediatric care. Telemedicine has developed significantly in the provision of critical care and pediatric rehabilitation in terms of diagnosis and therapy. Yet, few studies have examined the feasibility and evaluated the impact of telemedicine on the quality of pediatric critical care and rehabilitation. The main objective of this dissertation was to assess the feasibility of synchronous telemedicine in two pediatric settings—critical care and rehabilitation—and to evaluate its influence on the process of providing pediatric care. The first article presented the results of a systematic review that synthesized studies evaluating the impacts of synchronous telemedicine models on clinical outcomes in pediatric acute care settings. The findings revealed that the use of synchronous telemedicine improved quality of care and resulted in a lower transfer rate, a shorter length of stay, a change in or reinforcement of the medical care plan, a reduction in complications and illness severity, and a low hospital standardized mortality rate. However, the review of the state of knowledge revealed that the quality of the included studies was weak, so more high-quality evidences is needed. The second article, which used a pre/post design, assesses the feasibility assessed the feasibility of home-based telepractice in speech-language pathology (TSLP) and its impact on satisfaction among the children and speech-language pathologists, economic cost, and voice performance. This study showed that TSLP is feasible and that both the children and the speech-language pathologists were satisfied with the service. In addition, the use of TSLP demonstrated more voice improvement at less cost to the parents. The third article evaluated the feasibility of implementing a synchronous telemedicine platform in a pediatric intensive care unit (STEP-PICU). For a STEP-PICU to be feasible and truly helpful, it needs good preparation for the implementation of the telemedicine solution. With competent and autonomous fellows (a fellow is a physician who has completed their residency and elects to complete further training in a subspecialty), the usefulness of an synchronous telemedicine (STM) platform linking off-site pediatric intensivists and on-site fellows in a PICU is limited. This study added that such a service could be more beneficial than the traditional model of care (face to face) for communications with other remote healthcare facilities, where there is a greater need for the expertise of a pediatric critical care intensivist. These three studies allow us to conclude that STM is feasible and can have an impact on the quality of pediatric intensive care and rehabilitation. This thesis underscores the importance of taking into consideration the context in which the technology will be implemented. Treating the PICU and the rehabilitation contexts in the same way does not lead to the same results, and a technological innovation that succeeds in one setting may fail in another.

KUBEŠ, Tomáš January 2017 (has links)
Options and application pastoral theology in posttraumatic team HZS CR. The thesis is divided into three sections. The first section dedicates to the process of developing psychological service in selected components of integrated rescue systém and the formation and other developing of teams who have to provide psychological assistance during some extraordinary events. It also pays attention to the theoretical cognition of stress problems, traumas and posttraumatic disorders. The significant chapter is the part that is concerned with communication which is the main resource while providing help. The second section dedicates to the practical theology, its origin and gradual development in Central Europe. They are listed two main concepts of developing the practical theology which are important for understanding next formation and the possibility of using practical theology in interdisciplinary activities. Analysis of the constitutive elements of the Church is the mainstay. Main attention is paid to diakonia and linking charitable service of the Church. The third and also closing part includes the practical verification findings via questionnaire. The results and comments gained thanks to questionnaire as well with theoretical knowledge and practice of professional life enable the final evaluation of the whole work. This file is supposted to help while seeking the answer on original question of possibility of cooperation and using already mentioned disciplines while providing help.
