This essay answers the question Why does Hedvig Lagercrantz (a woman from the wealthy uperclass in the late 19th century Sweden ) get enrolled as one of it's first social officers in the (Workingclassmovement) Salvation Army? What resources does she bring to the movemnt and what does the membership do for her identity as a Christian, wife and mother?

This essay studies how religiosity is formulated and discussed within the women´s suffrage movement, LKPR, in Sweden during the early 1900s. I have studied articles in journals written by central actors in the organization and applied a discourse analysis. This era in Sweden is characterized by political turbulence, and an increasing questioning of the Church of Sweden and how its doctrine is used by the state to legitimize a patriarchal social structure. I have also applied the “gender contract” as a theoretical perspective to show how the gender roles within the Church of Sweden not only created a framework for the women to stand within, but also to elucidate these actors’ approaches to these conditions and the complex situation they were in during the conflict where they were torn between state law, church frameworks and the dream of liberation. The work illustrates how voting rights activists used religion in their rhetoric to, among other things, call for activism, legitimize the political issue and demonstrate past values ​​depending on your gender and the roles you were thus assigned. With emotions such as love, despair, frustration and hope formulated in the scriptures, religion became one of the organization's tools in the political project.

This thesis examines how I as a furniture designer can integrate more intuitive responses during the design process. I examine where this design process begins from an image of an object that originates in my mind and how I then go about making it manifest in physical form. At the same time I reflect on what is an intuitive image inside the mind and how does it come to formation. I reason how the impact of personal values, knowledge and experience in the field of furniture design have on the creative process. With a curiosity and hope that a kind of intuitive design process would be free from anxiety I took on this project which ultimately resulted in what I wished for. Free from anxiety, or almost free from it at least.

Childism, fördomar mot barn, är ett nytt begrepp, som introducerats av den amerikanska psykiatern och filosofen Elisabeth Young-Bruehl 2012 och som jag nu vill föra in i den svenska filosofiska kontexten. Jag undersöker om childism förekommer i Sverige genom att tillämpa Kasper Lippert-Rasmussens definition av gruppdiskriminering på barn, vilket inte gjorts tidigare. Inledningsvis redovisar jag ämnets relevans för att därefter redogöra för Lippert-Rasmussens definition av gruppdiskriminering. Det är av yttersta vikt att förstå hur han menar att hans definition skiljer sig från hur vi traditionellt använder begreppet diskriminering, då han menar att hans definition tar oss ett stycke längre i vår förståelse av vad som är moraliskt fel i diskriminering. Därefter tillämpar jag Lippert-Rasmussens definitionen på tre olika tänkbara fall av diskriminering; det första med en mamma som hånar sin dotter, det andra med en biovakt som hindrar barn från att se barnförbjuden film och det tredje med placering av barn vid ett så kallat barnbord. På detta sätt visar jag att Lippert-Rasmussens definition av gruppdiskriminering går att tillämpa på barn, att childism finns genom att påvisa det i ett av de tre fallen, samt lyfter in det nya begreppet childism i den svenska filosofiska kontexten.
