No. of bitstreams: 1 Jeolas_LuizCarlosSollberger_M.pdf: 4078343 bytes, checksum: 99929a6f3e43aae92f1570c4e6c8412e (MD5) Previous issue date: 2009 / Resumo: Este trabalho foi realizado com mulheres e travestis profissionais do sexo do Jardim Itatinga, bairro de prostituição de Campinas (São Paulo, Brasil), com o objetivo de verificar se a prática fotográfica desses sujeitos apresenta marcas de gênero e se a ingerência da técnica fotográfica poderia tramar a favor das suas autorrepresentações. Em seis meses de atividade de campo, nove dessas profissionais, colaboradoras da pesquisa, captaram imagens com máquinas fotográficas digitais a elas fornecidas. Fez-se oficinas semanais com os dois grupos: numa semana, um dos grupos ficava com as máquinas; na seguinte, os cartões de memória com as imagens feitas naquele período eram descarregados, estas eram armazenadas em computador e as máquinas eram repassadas ao outro grupo. Nas oficinas, discutiu-se técnica fotográfica e repertórios imagéticos. Ao final do trabalho de campo, seis colaboradoras que se mantiveram na pesquisa, cinco delas participantes desde o início, fizeram, como última atividade, uma seleção final de suas imagens, a qual foi justaposta com depoimentos sobre as fotografias escolhidas. / Abstract: This work was developed with woman and transvestite sex workers from Jardim Itatinga, prostitution neighbourhood in the city of Campinas (São Paulo, Brazil). Its goal was verifying whether or not the photographic practice of those subjects present gender marks and whether the interference of the photographic technique could conspire in favour of their self-representations. In six months of field activity, nine of these professionals, collaborators in the research, collected images with digital photographic cameras supplied to them. Weekly workshops were held with two groups: in one week, one of the groups kept the cameras; in the next, the images produced in that period were downloaded and saved in a computer and the cameras were transferred to the other group. In the workshops, we discussed photographic techniques and imagetic repertoires. At the end of the field work, six collaborators who stayed in the research - five of them participating from the beginning - made, as the last activity, a final selection of their images, which was juxtaposed with testimonies about the chosen pictures. / Mestrado / Artes Visuais / Mestre em Artes

Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico / This paper proposes using the complementarity of text and writing an ethnographic photoethnographic do some reading about the displacement of the subjects in the urban towns of Uruguaiana (BRA) and Paso de los Libres (ARG), Deliverance (BRA) and Rivera (URU). When people move on space planning, move with them cultural and material goods, ways of thinking and seeing the world. These guys crossing the bridge or take the line with them all their references to the world allowing that culture can be seen as a make, which can be produced and reproduced. In these various shifts for a diversity of views on the border, so try to understand how individuals who live in or are just passing through it, move in this space, how they relate from territorial marks, discussing the concepts of anthropological place and no place proposed by Marc Augé (1994). To present and describe the seizures made from the resort to fieldwork as photoethnographic founding of this research methodology, and this study included in discussions of audiovisual anthropology. / Este trabalho se propõe por meio da complementaridade entre texto etnográfico escrito e uma fotoetnografia realizar uma leitura sobre os deslocamentos dos sujeitos no espaço urbano, nas cidades de Uruguaiana (BRA) e Paso de Los Libres (ARG), Livramento (BRA) e Rivera (URU). Ao se moverem pessoas sobre o espaço territorial, se movem com elas bens culturais e materiais, modos de pensar e ver o mundo. Esses sujeitos que atravessam a ponte ou a linha levam com eles todas as suas referências de mundo permitindo que a cultura possa ser vista enquanto um fazer, possível de ser produzido e reproduzido. Nestes diferentes deslocamentos há uma diversidade de olhares sobre a fronteira, por isso procuro entender como os sujeitos que moram na região ou que estão somente de passagem por ela, se movem neste espaço, como se relacionam a partir dos marcos territoriais, discutindo os conceitos de lugar antropológico e não-lugar propostos por Marc Augé (1994). Para apresentar e descrever as apreensões realizadas a partir do trabalho de campo recorro à fotoetnografia como metodologia fundante desta pesquisa, estando este estudo inserido nas discussões da antropologia audiovisual.

It show the island people devotion to the Cruzade. It also seeks to, through photography and text, narrate the everyday life of the native resident of the island. It also seeks to, through participant observation and the researcher insertion in the community, to verify how the religious festivals, the space, the tradition, the memory and the ethnic question modelate the social fact and structurate the geographically-bounded society. This work presents a society of farmers-fishermans, who love the winds and the seas and the importance of the religious festivals for them. With the photoetnography, method used in this dissertation, we show the fluency of the antropological and ethnographic text, avoiding the imagination of the fact studied and showing photographies.Through these perspectives, the culture and the social organization of the Island is presented and studied. / O presente trabalho apresenta um estudo sobre as Festas Religiosas da Ilha dos Marinheiros com uma visão Fotoetnográfica. Mostra a devoção ao Cruzeiro. Busca, através do uso da fotografia narrar em conjunto com o texto escrito o cotidiano do ilhéu. Procura, através da observação participante e da inserção do pesquisador na comunidade, verificar como as festas religiosas, o espaço insular, a tradição, a memória e a questão étnica, modelam o fato social e estruturam uma sociedade limitada geograficamente. Apresentam uma sociedade de lavradores pescadores, afetos ao ciclo dos ventos e dos mares e a importância que a festas religiosas têm para este grupo. Com o uso da fotoetnografia, método de trabalho utilizado, mostra a fluência do texto antropológico e etnográfico, evitando a imaginação do acontecimento estudado e mostrando-o com fotografias. Assim, a cultura ilhéu e a sua organização social são apresentadas e estudadas.
