This project is an attempt to create a city for the far future using the language and theory of architects that lived in a society of different economic political and ideological conditions. Based on the case study of Ivan leonidov's proposal in 1930 for the town of Magnitogorsk, As well as the supporting theory behind, for example, disurbanism and linear city. The design is a universal system that can be placed in any city in the future, which can adapt to various terrain and move freely.

The future of mobility is changing at an exponential rate, as every day passes it moves closer to the goal of complete autonomy, therefore, it is safe to say that the adaptation of self-driving cars in near future is no more a matter of science fiction. Keeping in view the rapid evolution of mobility, this study tries to enlighten and compile the importance of autonomous vehicles in our daily life by highlighting monetary and societal advantages of adaptation. Moreover, it analysis the Austrian expert's opinion on the topic of adaptation of the self- driving cars and business prospects with autonomous vehicles for current businesses. The data on these two questions was collected in a workshop using Delphi method, where experts from varied professional backgrounds participated. But mainly the participants of the controlled group were representatives of public procurement, energy and automobile industry/sector. After a detailed presentation and discussion over the topic, the participants were asked for their views on forth mentioned two questions. Their opinions were recorded and visualized on a custom made graph and further analyzed using the descriptive statistical tool. At the end of the question and answer session a vast majority of experts, which is approximately 80%, thought that there is a good possibility of adaptation of autonomous vehicles in near future. But on the other hand relatively less percentage of experts were confident about the bright future for current businesses in automobile industry; They argued that the current business decorum would change dramatically in a couple of decades and this would be the question of survival of the fittest and smartest.

This thesis investigates the possible development of a new urban form around space launching sites. A city form that is built with the influence of job opportunities offered at the spaceport and its surrounding local conditions-a futuristic company town. The design approach is derived from a multitude of learnings from the past and later it is curated to envision a futuristic aspect providing solutions for better livelihood of people while also advocating for the surrounding environment. The thesis intensively focuses on developing a set of frameworks that could be tailored for building cities around spaceports identifying various obstructions existing around them. And it is later tested with one of its kind – a potential growth site with its very own local contextual conditions. The distinctive design decisions and solutions provided consider the presence of the spaceport as a constant; with changing population and landscapes as variables. The determined frameworks can be applied to any other such potential site. The notion of the new urban fabric is to create a valuable settlement that supports and embraces the co-existence of technological innovation, environmental consciousness, and better liveability, creating resistance against fatal damages and complications. This science-driven city will be an identity for the future urban fabric around space science exploration zones. It aims in achieving its purpose and contributes to cultivating the good quality of life that people would need for healthy well-being while working towards innovative inventions for mankind to sustain on earth and beyond. / Master of Science / Some may criticize that cities were built after people decided to settle there. I would like to advocate, people came first and the cities followed, expanded constantly with growing needs. Most cities began as small settlements that flourished over time. Some of the world's well-known cities started as small ports or even as fishing villages, and then grew as their economies started linking to regional and international trade. As we are in the space and technological innovations age currently, we might not think about their importance very often, but the world's spaceports play an important role in our day-to-day life. Orbital sensors track weather patterns to help one to start the day, they also offer geospatial data to navigate without getting lost, they connect everyone across the globe, and many other benefits. All of this starts with a rocket launch, and spaceports provide the basic infrastructure to send these satellites above. Even though they have enormous benefits, this thesis focuses on the drawbacks associated with their impacts on the urban form around them. It also outlines a set of frameworks to improve the typical existing conditions by providing thoughtful strategic design solutions for their better existence and futuristic growth.

Digital assistants such as Google Assistant and Alexa are becoming more and more common in people's homes through smart speakers. Technologies that assist with stress management have increased as well, leading to an abundance of stress management applications for different devices. However, there is a limited amount of research regarding how advanced digital assistants could support stress management and be integrated into users' daily activities. Therefore, our study explores how people anticipate that they would relate to an advanced digital assistant in the future and how they would integrate it into their everyday activities for stress management. Our study shows that important aspects of digital assistants relate to their objectivity, personalization, and adaptability in terms of type of interaction in different contexts. The study also finds that privacy and control, such as a mute function or an on & off function, are desired in order to adjust the digital assistant and integrate it into everyday activities. Finally, stress management with digital assistants is highly personal and how users would relate to and integrate digital assistants into their everyday activities for stress management is unique to each user.

Fordonstillverkare försöker ständigt utveckla sina bilar, för att stå ut från konkurrensen, genom att förbättra drivmedel, utseende och prestanda och många gånger kan små detaljer vara avgörande för kunden. En relativt ny utveckling är en elbil med lätt vikt för en till två personer. De modeller som finns i dagens läge skiljer sig en hel del ifrån varandra, vilket innebär att det finns en del andrum till att göra en unik design. Designen är viktig eftersom den påverkar vilken känsla och vilket intryck kunden får och designen av interiören är extra viktig eftersom kunden spenderar mest tid inuti bilen.Detta arbete genomförs för att skapa en sportig och futuristisk interiör till lågkostnadsbilen Ecoist Tian. Ett koncept av interiören runt om föraren kommer att tas fram och visualiseras. Förutom visualiseringen kommer även ett materialval och en hållfasthetsberäkning genomföras. För att ta fram ett koncept måste först kundbehoven fastställas genom intervju med Thomas Koch från Ecoist. Därefter utförs en extern sökning för att hitta lösningar på delproblem. Dessa lösningar används som inspiration och vidareutvecklas i den interna sökningen samt testas genom bodystorming. För att säkerställa att konceptet håller för de påfrestningar det kan utsättas för, utförs ett materialval och en hållfasthetsberäkning. Arbetet resulterar i att en 3D-modell av konceptet görs och visualiseras för att ge en realistisk bild av hur det hade sett ut i verkligheten. Interiören kommer att vara tillverkad i polypropen och ha en sportig och futuristisk design med detaljer i grönt ljus för att hänga ihop med exteriören. / Vehicle manufacturers are constantly trying to develop cars that stand out from the competition by improving the fuel, design and performance. A lot of times it is the tiny details that makes the difference. A relatively new development is the lightweight electric car for one or two people. The currently existing models differ quite a lot from each other, which means there is some space for a unique design. The design is important because it affects the feeling and impression the costumer gets and the interior design is even more important because the costumer spends most of the time inside the car.This work was carried out to create a sporty and futuristic interior for the low-cost car Ecoist Tian. A concept of the interior around the driver will be developed and visualized. Besides the visualization a choice of material and calculation of strength will be carried out. To develop a concept, the customer's needs must be established trough an interview with Thomas Koch from Ecoist first. Afterwards an external search will be performed, to find solutions to parts of the problem. These solutions will then be used as inspiration and continued development in the internal search and tested trough bodystorming.To ensure that the concept holds for the stresses it can be exposed to, a material selection and a strength calculation is carried out. The work results in the making of a 3D-model which is visualized to give a realistic picture of what it would look like in a reality. The interior will be made in Polypropylene and have a sporty and futuristic design with details in green light in order to create a completeness with the exterior.

Film produced by Nazi Germany has been a classic that has drawn scholars from a wide range of academic disciplines as well as innumerable cineastes from various cultural backgrounds. The simultaneous rise in the number of players acting as observers and operators in digital games with a WWII theme has drawn recent scholarly attention since it is thought that this pattern is contributing to players' hazy understanding of historical events. In order to close the gap from earlier studies that there is no future perspective for these concepts refined from Nazi films, nor relevance to films in the field of Game Studies, I proposed a new connection between Nazi films and WWII games based on the conceptual relocation of Fascist Aesthetic, Futuristic Utopianism, and Steel-like Romanticism. In this relocation, Fascist Aesthetic has kept its elements from Leni Riefenstahl's propaganda films but expanded to the pursuit of death and violence in the Wolfenstein series (WWII FPS games), Futuristic Utopianism in Piel's science fiction trilogy derived from the passion for technology of the Weimar period, his original designs in the Sci-fi trilogy have proved to be an inspiration for WWII games. In Walter Ruttmann's industrial films, steel-like romanticism was portrayed as a romantic sensation from the production of large-scale, intricate weapons by dedicated German workers to achieve the reactionary modernism, but in WWII simulation games, it evolved into a nostalgia for the weapons built by the Reich. As a result of this change, a trustworthy commemoration of the Third Reich is vanishing from visual culture and its grim past has been changed by simulation.

Os objetivos principais da presente pesquisa são apresentar o romance futurista Il Codice di Perelà, de Aldo Palazzeschi, fazer o cotejo entre os originais da primeira (1911) e da última (1958) edições desta obra, para garantir um ponto de vista privilegiado sobre o romance e sua evolução ao longo do tempo, e propor, em anexo, a versão brasileira do romance publicado em 1911: O Código de Perelá. Palazzeschi é um autor que sempre apresenta novidades, não raro subvertendo a matéria da tendência poética e literária ou do movimento do qual se aproxima, o que conduz a novas formas. Com isso, tornam-se evidentes a independência e as características peculiares do autor, se comparado aos seus contemporâneos. A narrativa do Il Codice di Perelà é realizada predominantemente por meio de breves diálogos conduzidos por várias vozes, com ritmos rápidos e dissonantes, conferindo à obra um caráter teatral. Por outro lado, o protagonista, precisamente por ser bastante diferente do gênero humano, apenas com sua presença imprime ao texto um tom fabular, além de fazer com que a história adquira características épicas. Ademais, a supremacia da síntese, do dinamismo, da compenetração e da velocidade, expressos com palavras essenciais e em liberdade, o uso de onomatopeias, de concisão, de justaposição de estilos, todos esses elementos heterogêneos que ainda assim resultam em um texto harmonioso ao conferir originalidade à estrutura do romance, também o ligam aos valores mais caros ao Futurismo, sobretudo no que diz respeito ao Manifesto técnico da literatura futurista. Por fim, o estudo mostra, também, como este romance coloca em prática, ao longo de sua narrativa, os preceitos do Manifesto palazzeschiano Il controdolore. / The main objectives of this research are to present Aldo Palazzeschis futuristic novel Il Codice di Perelà, make the comparison between the first (1911) and last (1958) original editions of this work to ensure a privileged point of view over the romance and its evolution over time and proposes, attached, the Brazilian version of the novel: O Código de Perelá. Palazzeschi is an author that he always presents news, often subverting the subject of poect and literary trend or of movement to which he approaches, leading to new forms. Hence the independence and the peculiar characteristics of the author become apparent if compared to his contemporaries. The Il Codice di Perelà narrative is accomplished mainly through short dialogues from various voices, with fast and dissonant rhythms, granting the work a theatrical tone. In the other hand, the protagonist, precisely because of his difference among mankind, just his presence adds to the book a fable tone, besides making the story to acquire epic characteristics. Furthermore, the synthesis supremacy, the dynamism, the interpenetration and speed, expressed with essential words and freely, the use of onomatopoeia, the brevity, the juxtaposition of styles, all these heterogeneous elements - which still result in a matching text - imprint originality to the novel structure, also bind it with the most important Futurism values, especially with regard to the technical Manifesto of Futurist literature. Finally, the study also shows how this novel puts into practice throughout its narrative, the precepts of the Manifesto palazzeschiano, Il Controdolore.

Las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación constituyen hoy en día una herramienta fundamental para el trabajo humano en el futuro, pues ha contribuido a reducir las distancias y ha alcanzado la información a muchas personas al mismo tiempo. Además, la automatización ha mejorado notablemente las perspectivas del trabajo industrial aminorando drásticamente el trabajo humano. Para ello, la inteligencia artificial ocupa un lugar trascendental, pues permite desarrollar la automatización a un nivel más alto, pues facilita la actividad humana a través de las comunicaciones y la ingeniería, entre otros. Para desarrollar la presente propuesta, se expone, en primer lugar, un contexto tecnológico en el cual se revisarán las diferentes variables encontradas como por ejemplo automatización, industria 4.0, inteligencia artificial y tecnologías de la información. En segundo lugar, a través de un contexto socio cultural, se revisan variables como adaptación, cultura, brechas políticas e inestabilidad laboral. En tercer lugar, se presentarán y contrastarán las principales posturas acerca de los efectos a largo plazo de las nuevas tecnologías de la información y la automatización en el trabajo humano con la finalidad de presentar la controversia sobre los efectos a largo plazo de las nuevas tecnologías de la información y automatización en el trabajo humano. En conclusión, es necesario destacar el desarrollo de la inteligencia artificial y su impacto en las tecnologías de la información, el entorno asociado a las personas y su entendimiento de la idiosincrasia, así como la información y la automatización en el trabajo humano. / Information and communication technologies are today a fundamental tool for human work in the future, as it has contributed to reducing distances and has reached information to many people at the same time. In addition, automation has markedly improved the prospects for industrial work by drastically reducing human labor. For this, artificial intelligence occupies a transcendental place, since it allows to develop automation at a higher level, since it facilitates human activity through communications and engineering, among others. To develop this proposal, a technological context is exposed, first of all, in which the different variables found will be reviewed, such as automation, industry 4.0, artificial intelligence and information technologies. Second, through a socio-cultural context, we will review variables such as adaptation, culture, political gaps, and job instability.
