The theorical references were based on the Jorge Cláudio Ribeiro and Regina Novaes research, which has contributed for reflection and analysis regarding the youth and their relation with religion. The field research was taken within the Universidade de Guarulhos walls with the Pedagogy course s students from the fifth and sixth semesters. For this study, a quantitative research with closed questions was made. Through the field research it was possible to identify the student s religious options and how do these choices end up interfering within their lives / Este trabalho teve como objetivo investigar as opções religiosas dos jovens universitários da Universidade Guarulhos no curso de Pedagogia. Os referenciais teóricos para sustentação foram baseados nas pesquisas de Jorge Cláudio Ribeiro e Regina Novaes, que têm contribuído para reflexões e análises a respeito da juventude e suas relações com a religião. A pesquisa de campo foi realizada na Universidade Guarulhos com jovens que estavam cursando os 5° e 6° semestres do curso de Pedagogia. Para a realização deste estudo foi utilizada a pesquisa quantitativa com perguntas fechadas. Por meio da pesquisa de campo foi possível identificar a opção religiosa dos jovens pesquisados e como essas escolhas acabam interferindo em suas vidas

For most young people at school age who attend it, the schools are not a formation place for life anymore and have become one of the few efficient ways to get a job earn a wage and change their lives, either for having a High School certificate or maybe by getting enrolled in college through Government study bursary. This research proposes to do a study about High School and Elementary School students , their parents, at two public state schools, investigating their attitudes, values and perspectives about education and the school .For this purpose, the community where this population lives located in Itapegica neighborhood, a Guarulhos suburban area was researched as well , since the way of life and culture interferes significantly on the idendity of young people their parents and on the construction of the social and political imaginary that bond them to school. The analysis was done through an anthropological observation and etnographical description at the schools mentioned above, trying to answer the questions which appeared along years through a patient and constant observation of these places, as an educator, together with interviews and questionnaire applied to 217 students and 20 families. The dissertation that shows the inadequacy of educational politics associated with terrible community social conditions , make the teachers actions useless and students and their parents hopeless about a better and more dignified future, was divided into 3 chapters which respectively are : 1) Guarulhos: today and yesterday; 2) State educational politics : a brief; 3) The school , the students and their parents Migration, social exclusion and educational politics are important subjects of this research / É lugar comum a afirmação de que as escolas de ensino fundamental e médio da rede pública estadual no Brasil estão desacreditadas de sua real importância na construção social do país. Para a maioria dos jovens em idade escolar e que as freqüentam, elas deixaram de ser um local de formação para a vida e se tornaram apenas um dos poucos meios para inserir-se no mercado de trabalho, ganhar um salário e mudar de vida, nem que seja apenas pela obtenção de um certificado do ensino médio ou na melhor das hipóteses de conseguir adentrar uma faculdade através de bolsas de estudo do Governo. Preocupada com esta realidade esta pesquisa se propôs a realizar um estudo das relações dos alunos do Ensino Médio e Ensino Fundamental, e de seus pais, em duas escolas públicas estaduais, observando e investigando suas atitudes, seus valores e perspectivas sobre a educação e a escola. Para tanto, pesquisou-se também a comunidade na qual os mesmos estão inseridos, localizada no bairro de Itapegica, periferia da cidade de Guarulhos, já que o meio e a cultura interferem de forma significativa não apenas na construção identitária dos jovens e seus pais, mas também na construção do imaginário social e político que os vincula à escola. A análise da escola e dos alunos foi feita através do exercício antropológico da observação e de registros etnográficos nas escolas acima citadas, procurando responder às questões surgidas ao longo dos anos na observação paciente e constante desses espaços como educadora, de par com questionários e entrevistas junto a 217 alunos e 20 famílias. A dissertação, que demonstra como a inadequação das políticas educacionais, em conjunto com as péssimas condições sociais da comunidade estudada, torna as ações dos professores inócuas, ao passo que geram a desesperança dos alunos e seus pais num futuro melhor e mais digno, foi dividida em três capítulos que, respectivamente, tratam de: 1) a história de Guarulhos e a história de vida da pesquisadora enquanto motivação para a escolha do objeto de pesquisa; 2) a análise das políticas educacionais estaduais; 3) análise das relações dos alunos e pais com a escola. Esta pesquisa buscou compreender as aprendizagens e práticas musicais presentes e desencadeadas no e pelo Festival Música Estudantil de Guarulhos, que teve caráter competitivo e focou as músicas produzidas por estudantes. O objetivo do evento foi o de mobilizar as escolas do município de Guarulhos – SP, e, dar visibilidade às ações músico-pedagógicas nelas desencadeadas. Organizado pela Secretaria de Cultura do município, o Festival envolveu professores e gestores escolares, gestores municipais e, especialmente, 23 grupos musicais formados por jovens estudantes. O evento foi aberto a todas às formações de grupos instrumentais/vocais e a todos estilos/gêneros musicais, o que resultou em uma variedade significativa de jeitos e formas de tocar e cantar. Organizado em duas semifinais e uma final, o evento teve como premiação prometida a gravação de um CD com as dez músicas finalistas. As questões que guiaram a pesquisa foram: Que práticas musicais juvenis aparecem no evento? Como elas apareceram? Que ações músico-pedagógicas o Festival pôde mobilizar nos jovens participantes? E na escola, como isso ocorreu? Em que medida os jovens participantes, e a escola, interferiram nas decisões e na dinâmica do Festival? Para discutir estas questões, enfoquei o Festival de Música Estudantil de Guarulhos considerando que sua dinâmica e funcionamento potencializam aprendizagens musicais para os envolvidos. O Festival foi tomado como uma ação criada a partir de uma política pública, que pode congregar e remodelar práticas culturais no âmbito da música. A pesquisa foi orientada pela abordagem qualitativa e teve como método investigativo o estudo de caso. A inserção em campo se deu entre os meses de outubro de 2011 e junho de 2012, e os dados construídos no trabalho de campo constituíram-se em: 1) observações com registros fotográficos e em audiovisual das eliminatórias e a final do festival de 2011; 2) entrevistas semiestruturadas com os integrantes das bandas e grupos musicais, a equipe pedagógica das escolas participantes, e a equipe organizadora do Festival – incluindo funcionários da Secretaria de Cultura do Município de Guarulhos e da Secretaria de Educação do Estado de São Paulo; e, 3) documentos relativos ao evento. Os dados da pesquisa permitem a compreensão da dinâmica, da estrutura, e do potencial músico-pedagógico imbuídos nesse tipo de evento. Ao longo do Festival ocorreram diversos momentos profícuos em aprendizagens musicais, tais como a preparação dos jovens estudantes para o evento, e, as situações em que os organizadores possibilitaram o contato deles com outros músicos que lhes passaram dicas e instruções musicais. O Festival alavancou a prática musical de vários jovens e modificou o cenário escolar a partir do engajamento de estudantes e professores com composições, organização de bandas e apresentações musicais. Os resultados mostram que o Festival extrapolou o espaço e o calendário formalmente estabelecido pelos organizadores, contemplando a vida e a música de seus participantes. / This research aimed at understanding the learning and musical practices triggered in and by the student music festival in Guarulhos. The festival had a competitive nature and focused on the songs produced by the students. Another as important objective was to mobilize the municipal schools in Guarulhos – SP, and also highlight the music education actions developed there. This event was organized by the Municipal Department of Culture involving teachers, school and municipal managers and, especially, twenty-three music groups formed by young students. It was open to all instrumental/vocal groups of any formation and music style, which resulted in a great variety of manners of singing and playing music. The festival had two semifinals and a final, the prize was the recording of a CD with the ten best songs. The leading questions to the research were: What are the juvenile musical practices present at the event? How did they appear? What music education actions did the festival cause in the young participants? And at school, how did that happen? To what extent did the young participants – and the school – interfere in the decisions and dynamics of the event? In order to discuss these questions, the research focuses the student music festival in Guarulhos based on the arguments of field of music education has – understood as a field of knowledge that takes interest in the processes of music teaching and/or learning. The research was guided by the qualitative approach and had a case study as the investigative method. The inclusion in the field occurred between the months of October 2011 and June 2012. The resulting data consists of: 1) audiovisual and photographic records of the playoffs and the final in 2011; 2) semi-structured interviews with participating groups, participating schools’ pedagogical team, and the organizing staff of the Festival - including people from the Department of Culture of Guarulhos and people involved in the Education Department of the State of São Paulo; and, 3) festival-related documents and reports. The resulting data allow the understanding of aspects such as the dynamics, structure, and the music and educational potential present in this kind of event. There were several fruitful moments of music learning during the festival, such as the students’ preparation for the event, and the possibility the organizers gave them to be in touch with other musicians who provided them with hints and instructions concerning music. The festival boosted the music practice of several young students, changing the school setting from the commitment of students and teachers in composing, forming groups, and the music performances. The results show that the festival went beyond the space and schedule the organizers had formally established – by contemplating its participants’ life and music.

Há diversos trabalhos que tratam da participação da burocracia, sobretudo do alto escalão, no processo de produção de políticas públicas. Entretanto, a burocracia de médio escalão, ou BME, apesar de serem atores determinantes nas políticas públicas e que encontram-se presentes em qualquer ação, não são considerados nas análises empíricas sobre este processo. Por essa razão, a pesquisa em questão buscou analisar a participação destes atores considerando a implementação de um programa, o PAIF, que tem apresentado resultados interessantes em meio à situações as quais a literatura muitas vezes trata como prejudiciais ao processo de implementação das políticas públicas. Entretanto, como poderá ser observado, situações aparentemente negativas podem representar "janelas de oportunidades" através das quais poderão ser utilizadas novas estratégias de ação e, assim, alcançar resultados promissores no atendimento da população. Por fim, considerando algumas situações observáveis a partir dos questionários utilizados, adotamos algumas abordagens a partir das quais foi possível identificar diversas formas através das quais os BME contribuem com o processo de implementação das políticas públicas de assistência social no município de Guarulhos. / This research was carried out in order to analyze the participation of the Middle Level Bureaucracy implementation of public policies for social assistance in the city of Guarulhos. There are several works that deal with the participation of the bureaucracy, especially senior in public policy production process. However, bureaucracy midlevel, or BME, although they are crucial actors in public policy and which are present in any action, are not considered in the empirical analysis of this process. For this reason, the research in question sought to analyze the participation of these actors considering the implementation of a program, the PAIF, which has shown interesting results through the situations which the often literature is as harmful to the implementation of public policies process. However, as can be seen apparently negative situations can represent "windows of opportunity" through which can be used new action strategies and thus achieve promising results in serving the population. Finally, considering some situations observable from questionnaires used, we adopted some approaches from which it was possible to identify several ways in which the BME contribute to the process of implementation of public policies for social assistance in the city of Guarulhos.

The justification for this tidy is the presence and no presence in public schools of children in the early years of life, coming from the poorest families. Through the mothers' point of view, we tried to approach the various meanings that they attribute to the crossings made in the time that they lived with their sons and daughters in this innovative experience of public education, shared with other children and educators of the Program. In this study, we Assume that it is necessary to contextualize the social world in which those women/mothers live, because from their experiences, their crossings, we can understand the different meanings they attach to Educrian,ca Programme. The theoretical basis for this study assumes education as a social practice that does not occur exclusively in the institutions of the education system, especially for children from zero to three years. In this theoretical perspective, the subject departs from the naturalizing views, considering that the human subjective capacities are not innate but socially and historically constructed. The methodology presented for obtaining information and data collection for this study focused primarily on opened interviews without previous guided instructions, with six women/mothers who experienced this educational experience of early childhood for at least a year, from 2003 to 2008, when the Educriança Programme took place in the city of Guarulhos. The most evident meaning in their statements is that this Programme is another way to live and understand childhood. This Programme revealed itself as a broad experience of education of childhood and have afforded better opportunities for basic care and educational activities at the place where the children lived with their families, since it was based on the concept of family as an educational agent, taking the mother figure as the main reference for childhood education, especially when related to transmitting values, socialization, children habits and accumulated knowledge in their social groups and their own social class / Este estudo busca compreender, no âmbito de uma ação pública educativa denominada Educriança, da qual participaram mães, crianças e educadoras, se é possivel construir um novo saber sobre a infância popular nos anos iniciais de vida. O que justifica este estudo é a presença e a não presença, nas escolas, de crianças, nos anos iniciais de vida, vindas das familias mais pobres. Por meio dos olhares das mães, procuramos nos aproximar dos vários significados que elas atribuem às travessias realizadas no tempo que puderam viver com seus filhos e filhas nessa inovadora experiência educativa pública, compartilhada com outras crianças e educadoras. Ao realizar este estudo, partimos do pressuposto de que é preciso contextualizar socialmente o mundo no qual vivem as mulheres/mães porque a partir de suas vivências, de suas travessias, poderemos entender os diferentes significados que elas atribuem ao Programa Educriança. A base teórica que lhe dá embasamento pressupõe a educação como uma prática social ampla que não precisa ocorrer exclusivamente nas instituições próprias do sistema de ensino, principalmente para as crianças de zero a três anos. Nessa Perspectiva teórica, permite-se que o sujeito se afaste das visões naturalizantes, dado que as capacidades subjetivas humanas não são inatas e sim construidas social e Historicamente. A metodologia apresentada para obtenção e coleta de dados informativos para este estudo centrou-se fundamentalmente na realização de entrevistas abertas, sem roteiros prévios, com seis mulheres/mães que vivenciaram essa experiência 'educativa da primeira infância por pelo menos um ano, no periodo de 2003 a 2008, quando se desenvolveu o programa Educrianca na cidade de Guarulhos. O significado mais evidente em seus depoimentos é o de que o Educriança lhes possibilitou ver outra forma de ser criança e viver a infância. O Educriança revela-se como uma experiência ampla de educação integral da infância por ter propiciado à criança melhores possibilidades de cuidados básicos e ações educativas no local em que vivia, uma vez que tinha como base a concepção da familia como agente educativo, tendo na figura da mãe sua referência principal de educadora da infância quanto a valores, socialização, formação de hábitos e de saberes acumulados nos seus grupos sociais e em sua própria classe social

After an introduction on the relevance of the subject, and based on the cases of Las Vegas McCarran and London Heathrow – Terminal 5, the characteristics of the identified elements are explained through a review of the theoretical referential. The methodological technique chosen was the case study, which led to the definition of four research categories: modularity, mass customization, the redesign of the business network through the fourth level of integration through IT, and acceptance of self-services by passengers. As a next step, comparable global data for each research category and data for Guarulhos international airport was produced. The conclusion is composed by a proposed analysis for each research category and suggested items for further research. / Este trabalho tem por objetivo analisar como a adoção de três componentes tecnológicos pode aumentar a integração, eficiência e qualidade do processo de check-in de passageiros no aeroporto internacional de Guarulhos, que atende a cidade de São Paulo. Após uma introdução sobre a relevância do tema, e tendo por base os casos de Las Vegas McCarran e Londres Heathrow – Terminal 5, foi feita uma revisão do referencial teórico para explicitar as características identificadas. A abordagem metodológica eleita foi o estudo de caso-único, resultando na definição de quatro categorias de pesquisa: modularidade, customização massificada, o redesenho da cadeia de negócios através quarto nível de integração por meio de TI, e aceitação dos serviços de auto-atendimento pelos passageiros. Em seguida, foi feito um contraponto entre dados secundários globais para as categorias de pesquisa definidas e dados relativos ao aeroporto internacional de Guarulhos. Na conclusão é feita uma análise para cada categoria de pesquisa, bem como sugeridos novos itens para pesquisas futuras.

The subject hereof is the study of the Capistrano de Abreu State School s History in the 20th Century, which is located in the city of Guarulhos, State of Sao Paulo, Brazil. It encompasses a description of said School's origins within the period of 1913-1950. Further, its subject matter of study is the so-called Cartilha Sodré (Sodré Primer), by virtue of its importance in teaching basic literacy to the students of said Elementary School, in the Brazilian Republic age. This essay s general purpose is to recover documents of the organization of the first Elementary and Secondary School of the city of Guarulhos, which has to be filed and documented, because they make part of such city's Educational Historic Heritage. Particularly, to: 1) examine the School s heritage as regards its management in the period of 1913-1950, by means of documents, alumni s testimonies, and informal conversations, with the purpose of supplementing possible gaps of this research; 2) recover the School's memorial, since its origins, within the period defined in this essay; 3) describe and analyze Cartilha Sodré, i.e., Sodré Primer, aiming at understanding the method and the process used to teach basic literacy. This research is grounded on the theoretical presuppositions of the Linguistic Ideas History. As regards the purposes hereof, the results achieved by reading material of its heritage pointed out that both the School s Management and alumni took part, or still take part of Guarulhos distinguished citizens. In addition, new information and records were found, like the very name of Cartilha Sodré, which was relevant to teach basic literacy during said period, and also to form Guarulhos citizens. Therefore, the purposes were satisfactorily achieved. The methodological procedure used was the theoretical-descriptive and deductive, for the steps followed were efficient to guide the search for answers. Notwithstanding the above, it can be concluded that this research has to continue, because the investigation carried out focused only a period of the Education History in the city of Guarulhos / Esta Dissertação situa-se na linha de pesquisa da História e Descrição da Língua Portuguesa. Tem, por tema, o estudo da História da Escola Estadual Capistrano de Abreu, em Guarulhos, no século XX, a descrição das origens dessa Escola, entre os anos de 1913 a 1950 e, por objeto de estudo, a Cartilha Sodré, por sua importância na Alfabetização dos alunos dessa Escola primária, na época da República. O objetivo geral desta pesquisa visa resgatar documentos da instituição do primeiro Grupo Escolar de Guarulhos, material a ser registrado e documentado, por pertencer à Memória da História da Educação dessa cidade. Especificamente: 1) examinar o acervo da Escola com relação ao corpo diretivo, no período de 1913 a 1950, através de documentos, depoimentos de ex-alunos e conversas informais, com a finalidade de complementar as possíveis lacunas desta pesquisa; 2) resgatar o memorial da Escola, em suas origens, no período delimitado para a pesquisa; 3) descrever e analisar a Cartilha Sodré, com a finalidade de conhecer o Método e o Processo utilizados na Alfabetização. Esta investigação está alicerçada por pressupostos teóricos da História das Idéias Lingüísticas. Quanto aos objetivos, os resultados obtidos pelas leituras do acervo apontaram que tanto a Direção quanto ex-alunos fizeram e/ou fazem parte da cidadania ilustre do Município, além de serem encontradas novas informações, registros, como o nome da Cartilha Sodré, relevante na Alfabetização, na República, na formação dos cidadãos guarulhenses. Logo, os objetivos apresentados foram cumpridos, satisfatoriamente. O procedimento metodológico utilizado foi o teórico-descritivo e dedutivo, sendo que os passos seguidos foram eficazes no direcionamento da busca por respostas. Não obstante, pode-se concluir que esta pesquisa precisa ter continuidade, pois a investigação realizada foi centrada em um período da História da Educação de Guarulhos
