The thesis focuses on freely available digital libraries in the field of science, research and education in the countries of former Yugoslavia. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part introduces the basic terminology and the issue of freely available digital libraries. The main part of the thesis is based on the findings of freely available digital libraries in the countries of former Yugoslavia. Their structured overview is an annex to this thesis and a commentary on them is given in the practical part. The core of the thesis constitutes the results of analyzes of three digital libraries from the selected region. It aims to analyse, describe,compare and assess selected systems. The practical part presents the descriptions and analysys of the selected systems. Next chapter includes the comparison of their qualitative and quantitative parameters. The conclusion of the work brings final assessment of the knowledge.

Art of Jesuit Chapels of the Deceased The theme of this work is presentation of Jesuit Chapel of the Deceased in Bohemia in the Baroque period. The main idea of these chapels are the last idea of man and reminder to purgatory. The presence of purgatory was unquestionable for Baroque society and very often presentation in art. Purgatory was place, which gives hope to the Catholics for salvation and it was great occasional for using special symbols and emblems, it is a way how the remind a believer to the idea of the Last Judgment.

It can be classified within social sciences as a part of political science, specifically as a part of comparative political science and electoral studies. The subject of this thesis is electoral design and electoral engineering. Its cases are political and electoral systems in the Post-Yugoslav area up to 2012. The importance of this topic consists in the fact that it is not entirely explored topic. On that account it deserves attention from both empirical and theoretical perspective. The research of electoral design and electoral engineering is one of the most promising courses of contemporary political science. The proposed VUT Art Campus is situated around the area of the streets Úvoz, Údolní, Tvrdého, Všetičkova and Jiříkovského. It lies in between two of the Brno’s most attractive recreational spots, Špilberk and Kraví hora. The project offers a creative solution of connecting two VUT’s faculties, the Faculty of Architecture and the Faculty of Fine Arts. An important part of the proposal is the gallery of the students’ works which also serves as a connecting element between the faculties. One of the main objectives is the creation of the Green Line originating at Špilberk and finishing at Kraví hora. As such, the campus works as a cultural point of interest on the way around the city. The whole concept aims to highlight the uniqueness of the faculties while stretching the importance of their interconnection and the need of a co-operation.

The diploma thesis deals with design of the polyfunctional center and the whole complex for the Brno University of Technology, which would serve for its representation. The land is in Brno on Kraví hora and its location has huge potential. However, the area is not used by the university, so the existing buildings are in poor condition. Therefore, the aim of the proposal is to find a suitable use of the land that would meet the university's requirements together with the city's intentions.

This study examines how Swedish media portray women's violence. The material used in thestudy are three narratives produced by the researchers Gentry and Sjoberg to analyze differentnews article perspectives when it comes to gender linked to violence within the Islamic State(IS). The method used is a critical discourse analysis based on Fairclough's three-dimensionalmodel. Which will help to see the discourses in the writing of the Swedish media. Analyzingthis is important to identify the difference between how women's violence is portrayed incomparison to men in the Swedish newspapers.

Desde la aparición de las primeras formas literarias hasta la actualidad se ha recurrido en utilizar ciertos tópicos que fascinan tanto a los narradores como a los receptores. No obstante, cada nueva generación de escritores se encarga no solo de reproducir, sino también de deconstruir los tópicos del pasado de acuerdo a su contexto histórico y social. En el presente texto se analiza comparativamente dos novelas peruanas contemporáneas: Travesuras de la niña mala, de Mario Vargas Llosa, y La hora azul, de Alonso Cueto. El objetivo es demostrar cómo, a pesar de que en los estudios de género y subalternidades cada vez tienen más presencia en la teoría literaria, estas dos novelas de reconocidos autores peruanos mantienen personajes cargados de estereotipos. Específicamente, comparo cómo los personajes femeninos principales, que son el interés amoroso de los protagonistas de las novelas, tienen una carga negativa relacionada con las figuras de “mujer mala”, “femme fatale” y “maroca”. En torno a la figura de “mujer mala”, desde el punto de vista del protagonista, se enlazarán distintos estereotipos que marcan jerarquías étnico-raciales, socioeconómicas, intelectuales y morales. Estas jerarquías diferencian a la niña mala, de Vargas Llosa, y Miriam, de Cueto, de sus protagonistas masculinos. De este modo, se las construye como “otras”, y mediante el análisis de recursos estilísticos como la narración en primera persona, el melodrama y el final fatal, se demostrará cómo a pesar del intento de escapar de los roles tradicionales, los personajes femeninos de Travesuras de la niña mala y La hora azul recaen en estereotipos negativos que, si bien las convierten en musas de los protagonistas, también amenazan con llevarlos a la ruina.

Este trabalho apresenta-se como um exercício de leitura da ficção da escritora brasileira Clarice Lispector e tem por objetivos identificar, em contos e romances de sua autoria, a presença de questões relativas à História, à cultura e à sociedade brasileiras e examinar o modo como tais questões são representadas. Propõe-se, assim, uma leitura da obra de Lispector em que se realiza o cruzamento de uma forma de evidente caráter intimista com temas de natureza social, histórica e cultural, dando-se especial relevo à cidade e à constituição da experiência urbana no Brasil. Para tanto, são examinados, com maior detalhamento, os romances Perto do coração selvagem, O lustre, A cidade sitiada, A paixão segundo G.H. e A hora da estrela, além de vários contos da autora, publicados em diferentes coletâneas. Na construção dos argumentos que sustentam as análises dos textos literários, procurou-se colocar em confronto os textos da escritora com estudos de importantes pensadores do Brasil. / This study is a reading task of the fictional work by Brazilian writer Clarice Lispector and aims to identify, in her short stories and novels, issues concerning Brailian history, culture and society and the way in which such issues were portrayed. This study proposes the reading of the work by Brazilian novelist Clarice Lispector in which the crossing of introspective style with social, historical and cultural issues is suggested. The city and the construction of urban experience in Brazil are highlighted in this study. Thus, the novels Perto do coração selvagem, A cidade sitiada, A paixão segundo G.H. and A hora da estrela, as well as a number of short stories by Clarice Lispector, will be analysed in detail. In order to draw the arguments that support the analysis of the work by Lispector, her texts were compared with studies by some important Brazilian scholars.
