History teaching has its own peculiarities as every teaching subject. At the first sight history teaching is not very different from other subject teaching, but it is not so. For example, while teaching geography, there is a possibility to observe tides, mountains, active volcanes, the change of climate, effect on production etc. While teaching biology, the visual aids can be used observing the researched phenomena, they can also be applied in acknowledgment of this area phenomena. However, it is impossible to see the past directly learning history. There are no more wars and battles, peace, country borders exchange, solemn wows, which used to be given, revolutions and rebellions. It is only possible to imagine them. That means, that the demand of visual thinking, which could only be realized by visual arts, appears in this case, and in the case of history taught at school history coursebooks, illustrations are needed. Dėl šiais laikais besivystančių technikos galimybių ir išaugusio asmenybę veikiančio informaliojo ugdymo poreikio, buvo tirta grožinės literatūros iliustracijų įtaka paaugliui. Yra daug literatūros apie vaikų meninius gebėjimus ir knygos dizainą, bet paauglio požiūris į knygos iliustraciją beveik nenagrinėtas. Todėl darbo tikslas buvo ištirti grožinės literatūros iliustracijų poveikį paaugliui, o keliami uždaviniai - išanalizuoti su tiriama problema susijusią literatūrą; išnagrinėti ugdomąsias teksto iliustracijos įtakas paaugliui; atlikti kokybinį ir kiekybinį tyrimą, išanalizuoti gautus duomenis ir pateikti išvadas. Buvo surinktos ir apibendrintos filosofų, psichologų, menininkų ir pedagogų mintys tiriamu klausimu, atlikta grožinės literatūros paaugliui iliustracijų analizė. Po to palyginti to paties pavadinimo kelių leidimų knygų paaugliams, iliustruotų skirtingų dailininkų, poveikiai skaitytojui. Padaryta išvada, kad teksto iliustracija turi įvairius poveikius: estetinį, pažintinį, meno terapinį ir kt.; ir kad knygų iliustracijos gali sustiprinti arba sušvelninti, papildyti teksto poveikį. Iš atliktos anketinės apklausos ir interviu analizės gauta išvada, kad paaugliams priimtinos skirtingos iliustracijos, priklausomai nuo interesų, lyčių skirtumo, gabumų, pasaulio suvokimo ypatumų; be to, paaugliams patinka, kai iliustracija skatina pažinimą, mąstymą, lavina fantaziją, formuoja nuotaiką. [toliau žr. visą tekstą] / Because of today’s development of technical possibilities and increased demand for personality influencing informal education, influence of fiction illustrations to youth was analyzed. There is a lot literature about artistic abilities of children and book design; however youth attitude toward book illustration is almost unstudied. Therefore objective of work was to investigate influence of fiction illustration for youth, and tasks – analyze literature related to research problem; investigate influence of educational text illustrations for youth; perform qualitative and quantitative research, analyze data received and provide conclusions. Thoughts of philosophers, psychologists, artists and pedagogues regarding research question were collected and summarized. Analysis of fiction illustrations for youth was performed. Then, the influences of illustrations made by different artists in the different editions of the same book to reader were compared. Conclusion is that text illustrations have various influences: aesthetical, cognitive, therapeutic and other; and that illustrations of books can strengthen or mitigate, or constitute to text influence. Darbe tiriamas knygų paaugliams dizainas Lietuvoje ir Latvijoje 1990-2009 m. Analizuotos knygos, kurios sulaukė skaitytojų, literatūrologų pripažinimo, buvo įvertintos knygų vaikams ir paaugliams konkursuose – viso beveik pusšimtis leidinių. Žvelgiant į knygą kaip į estetinę, kultūrinę vertę turintį objektą, tyrimu siekta išryškinti bei palyginti knygų paaugliams dizaino Lietuvoje ir Latvijoje ypatumus ištiriant šių leidinių apipavidalinimo elementus bei jų sąveiką. Siekiant šio tikslo, atskirose darbo dalyse atskleista knygos dizaino specifika, apžvelgta knygų apipavidalinimo raida XX a., įsigilinta į paauglių psichologiją, pristatyta knygų paaugliams atsiradimo istorija Vakarų pasaulyje bei Lietuvoje ir Latvijoje, ištirti minėtųjų šalių knygų paaugliams dizaino ypatumai. Atliekant tyrimą naudotasi aprašomuoju, aprašomuoju analitiniu, istoriniu, lyginamuoju, formaliosios analizės metodais. Darbe remiamasi kelių skirtingų disciplinų teorijomis. Pasitelkiamas tiek psichologijos mokslas, siekiant geriau pažinti paauglius ir jų poreikius, tiek grafinio dizaino teorija, padedanti atskleisti analizuojamų knygų apipavidalinimo ypatumus. Almost half a hundred books have been analyzed – the ones that received recognition of both readers and literary persons, and those which were well evaluated in the contests of books for children and youth. Looking into a book as if it was the object having both aesthetic and cultural value, the research has tried to reveal and to compare design peculiarities of books for teenagers in Lithuania and Latvia, examining design elements and their interaction. To achieve this aim, in separate parts of the research the specificity of book design is uncovered and its development in 20th century is reviewed. There is a focus on teenagers' psychology, the research paper also presents the history of how books for teenagers emerged in Western world, Lithuania and Latvia, and examines design peculiarities of books for teenagers in the above mentioned countries. To carry out the research such methods as descriptive, descriptive - analytical, historical, comparative and the method of formal analysis are used. Diplominio darbo idėja sukūrė asmeninė patirtis keliaujant viešuoju transportu (šiuo atveju - autobusu). Man didelį įspūdį paliko žmonių bendravimas ir komunikavimas tarpusavyje pvz.: kuomet pilnas autobusas žmonių tyli ir nebendrauja tarpusavyje ar kai koks nors vaikas, įsijungęs mobiliojo telefono melodijas, groja visame autobuse. Tai mane inspiravo sukurti kompiuterinės tapybos iliustracijas. Kurdamas kompiuterines iliustracijas pateikiu savo požiūrį į visuomenę, žmonių tarpusavio komunikavimą, bendravimą, kas šiame darbe man ir yra aktualiausia. Taip pat yra aktualu ir darbų vizualumas ir jų pateikimas ekspozicijai. Diplominio darbo problematika kyla iš šiuolaikinės Lietuvos visuomenės, kuri dabar išgyvena susiskaldymo būseną, ekonominę krizę, įvairias pasaulio katastrofas. Man įdomu iliustruoti ir bandyti analizuoti šių dienų Šiaulių visuomenę, kuri naudojasi viešuoju transportu bei užfiksuoti vyraujančias nuotaikas tarpusavio žmonių komunikavime. Viešasis transportas, šiuo atveju, yra žmonių sambūrio vieta, kurioje žmonės keliauja iš taško A į tašką B, o kitu atvejų - tai visuomenės dalis, kuri savo noru užsidariusi autobuse komunikuoja su kitais individais. Vienas iš diplominio darbo tikslų yra sukurti kompiuterines iliustracijas atspindinčias visuomenės bendravimo ryšį ir išnagrinėti visuomenės, menininko bei technologijų tarpusavio komunikavimą. The ways of communication in the bus gives huge impression. For example when there are full bus of people and no one has a conversation or when youngsters turn their mobile music on, so that everyone in the bus could hear it. These situations inspired me to create illustrations by using digital technologies. By creating digital illustrations I present my attitude towards our society and lack of communication between people. Moreover, by creating these illustrations huge attention was given to their visual properties and how they will be represented in exposition. The topic of the Bachelor thesis was influenced by Lithuanian society which at the moment is experiencing lethargy which is the result of the economical crisis and other global disasters.
