It is known that this type of research requires the use of validated research instruments in order to ensure its quality and therefore the results obtained after its application in other studies. The analysis of the psychometric properties, reliability and validity of an instrument is critical to ensure that it is calibrated to measure the phenomenon to which it is proposed. Objective: to determine the psychometric properties of the Brazilian version of the inventory "Parcours des Jeunes Amourex" - Loving Trail Youth - PAJ through construct validation and reliability analysis. Methodology: methodological study which deals with the construct validity and reliability (psychometric analyzes) of the Brazilian version of the PAJ, executed in the period 2013-2015, using a convenience sample of 380 adolescents and young adults in the age groups 14-24 years enrolled in public schools in Feira de Santana, Bahia-Brazil. This research represents the second stage of cultural adaptation process and inventory of content validation, carried out from 2011-2013, which led to the national version (adapted and validated). The original inventory and the national version consist of 64 questions in different formats (dichotomous, open, scales). And reliability analysis was used examining the internal consistency of the questions, by calculating the Cronbach's alpha coefficient, considering the satisfactory value> 0.6; the factorability of the questions was evaluated by the test Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin Measure of Sampling Adequacy (KMO), with appropriate value> 0.5; the construct validity was verified through exploratory factor analysis using the principal component analysis technique, with varimax rotation, using the latent root criterion to define the number of factors to be extracted. Results: The data showed that the adapted version of the PAJ has construct validity of evidence, since the measures proposed construct and has adequate reliability coefficients, confirming the internal consistency of the scale. It can be said then that the inventory showed good psychometric parameters allowing its applicability in national studies that seek to investigate violence among young couples and factors related to family life and friends. Conclusions: This research contributes to the appropriateness and applicability of an inventory that assesses multiple dimensions of loving violence in youth, encouraging new studies, exchange of information between different contexts, and can support public policies and programs that lead to the prevention and cure cycle intergenerational victimization and aggression between present and future generations. Prendre place dans la ville : immigré-e-s nord-africain-e-s dans les marchés périphériques de Nice / Taking place in the city : migrants from North Africa in marketplaces of the suburbs of Nice

Dahhan, Ryzlène 10 March 2017 (has links)
Combining the sociological study of interethnic relations and minorities and urban sociology, this thesis focuses on the reconfigurations, expansions and contractions of the boundaries between groups placed in a minority situation. This thesis draws on the results of qualitative, ethnographic and comparative investigation carried out in three marketplaces located on the outskirts of Nice where these minority groups and marginalized people are concentrated. First, this thesis studies the social relations at stakes in the functioning and appropriation of these marketplaces by minority groups. It allows to understand how this appropriation appears in the sharing of space, their relation and the links between them and their environment. Secondly, the thesis describes the various forms identities are expressed during market and non-market interactions, trying to understand how these commercial spaces orientate the way interethnic relations are organized in co-presence. By highlighting the intersection of the different forms of domination in action within these spaces, the thesis thus explores the multiplicity of minority experience.

“Keep that Fan Mail Coming.”: Ceremonial Storytelling and Audience Interaction in a US Soldier’s Milblog

Usbeck, Frank 23 June 2020 (has links)
The wars in Afghanistan and Iraq initiated a surge of texts by US soldiers who utilized recent Web 2.0 technology to forge new types of war narratives, such as the so-called “milblogs.” Milblogs merge letter and journal writing with journalistic reporting, and they maintain contact between soldiers and their social environment. They are at once public and private communication. Military psychology since Vietnam has referred to warrior traditions of Native American communities to discuss public narration and ceremonial acknowledgment of a soldier’s war experience as vital elements for veteran readjustment and trauma recovery. This article analyzes an exemplary milblog to argue that the interaction between blogger and audience does similar cultural work and has comparable ceremonial and, therefore, therapeutic functions: Soldiers publicly share their experience, reflect on it with their audience, receive appreciation and support, and thus mutually (re-)negotiate group identity.

Optimization of fracturing fluid to increase shale gas production

Liu, Yong 04 December 2020 (has links)
As same as other countries in the world, China is also facing the problem of a severe shortage of energy. Specifically, the demand for natural gas is rising explosively after the energy consumption structure has changed from oil to gas. Due to various reasons and motivations, shale has been considered having great reserves and believed in alleviating the energy crisis. Nevertheless, the massive investment in developing shale has a disappointing interest with low-yielding production. Scholars have done many researches and experiments for investigating the causes and increasing the productivity of shale formation, in field and in laboratory respectively. Based on the statistics, more details, and further discussion, in this dissertation a probable method for more effectively producing was demonstrated. Although the hydro-fracturing technology has been conducted in field frequently, sometimes the decrease of permeability has been observed after the treatment. To figure out this phenomenon, the investigation started from the basic characterization of matrix. Believed in the most component in shale, quartz consisted of silica which could dissolve in fluid. Been assigned as variables, temperature, pH, and salinity have been implemented for explanation of dissolution. Temperature played a great role in the process. Combined with confining pressure, the reconsolidation happened inside samples. Through more experiments the mechanism of reconsolidation has been discovered that both confining pressure and temperature are necessary for gelling in fracture. Perspective on the whole formation, well logs were a super supplement to laboratory experiments. It serviced not only a further confirmation, but also pointed out the relationship between desorption capacity and different components. Samples from upper and lower formations have been used for going further. The exchange which exists between N2 and CH4 could be a great idea to exploit gas from reservoir. Feldspar supported space for adsorbed gas, and it was also easy to release. In contrast, the organic matter in which a network of pores developed has ability to trap the gas deeply because of the specific surface area. Quartz had positive effect on production because of containing the organic matter, while the influence of clay minerals on adsorption and desorption could be neglected. Based on the analysis of reconsolidation and desorption, an idea has been conceived using foam as fracturing fluid for increasing gas production. Compared to the pure fluid, foam has less water, which could prevent the reconsolidation. Nitrogen could be the gas to foam. The exchange between N2 and CH4 will increase the production of gas. In order to serve the condition that increases the time of exchange and makes negative effect on reconsolidation simultaneously, the foaming test with ABS and K12 has been evaluated first. For better stability of foam more experiment have been done. Three formulas were recommended which could keep the balance between the increasing viscosity and decreasing volume. The work interpreted in this thesis has enhanced our understanding of microscopic properties of shale and was expected to make contribution to further research of fracturing and production design.

The thesis deals with the function of a teacher's assistant in a primary school. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, I focus on inclusive education, which is related to students with special educational needs. The second chapter of the theoretical part deals with the teaching assistants, their qualification, and personal prerequisites. I also deal with the role and activities of assistants in primary school and their job. The third part is devoted to cooperation between teachers and assistants. I present the possible benefits and risks of this cooperation. Due to the current epidemy of coronavirus, I focused the practical part on the cooperation between assistants and teachers during distance learning. I used the method of semi-structured interviews. The results of my research show that each cooperation was handled differently. Most teachers are aware of the benefits of this cooperation and have involved and collaborated with assistants even during distance learning, during which the assistants acted not only as support for kids with SEN. Key Words Assistant teacher, inclusive education, primary school, cooperation between teacher and assistant teacher
