Dating anxiety and sexual intimacy anxiety in young people who harm sexually : a comparative studyEagle, Deborah January 2015 (has links)
The present research aimed to address two questions. First, is dating anxiety associated with sexual intimacy anxiety? Second, do young people who report harmful sexual behaviour, as an offence or harmful dating behaviour, have higher levels of dating and sexual intimacy anxiety than young people who report no harm, non-sexual harm or sexual and non-sexual harm (generalists)? The Dating Anxiety Scale for Adolescents (DAS-A) was used to measure overall dating anxiety. Questions relating DAS-A sub-factors fear of negative evaluation and social distress - dating were amended to measure sexual intimacy anxiety. A scale to measure partnership anxiety and sexual behaviour anxiety were designed. Participants were 77 young people aged 13 to 18 years (M = 15.4, SD = 1.41). Forty-five (58%) of participants were female and 32 (42%) participants were male. Results found a strong, significant association between higher levels of dating anxiety and higher levels of sexual intimacy anxiety r(75) = .80, p < .001. Young people who reported a sexual offence had significantly higher sexual behaviour anxiety than non-sexual offence (M = 15.82, SD = 6.23, p = .005) and generalist offence groups (M = 21.77, SD = 6.53, p = .044). Despite no other significant differences, a pattern emerged that suggests young people who report harmful sexual or generalist dating behaviour may have higher dating and sexual intimacy anxieties. Furthermore, young people who report harmful dating behaviour may have higher anxieties than young people who report an offence. The implications of the findings for future harmful sexual behaviour and harmful dating behaviour research and practice are discussed.

Analýza enviromentálního konfliktu - názory hlavních skupin obyvatel rybničních oblastí ve vztahu k výskytu kormoránů (rybáři a místní obyvatelé) a analýza médií / Analysis environment conflict - views of main group inhabitants of pond areas to relation the appearance of the kormorans (fishermen and local population) and analysis mediaROUDNICKÁ, Martina January 2008 (has links)
This thesis is concerned with environmental conflict between local population and the protection of cormorants. In the introduction, I deal with biology, bionomics and taxonomy of cormorants. The literature retrieval is worked out in other part of the thesis. On the basis confrontation of current report made by international program COST, project MSMT Czech Republic and the evaluation of the information from the local survey the plan is suggested in terms of interdisciplinary access to the problem. I also worked out European analysis of media.

An evaluation of governmental health and welfare interventions in response to HIV/AIDS in South Africa: 1997–2005Mphou, Lejone Jonas 11 1900 (has links)
The point of departure in this study was to find a logical structure to answer the research question. In order to do this, the central concept adequate was defined, clarified and linked to the research question while on the same score, concepts related to it were also defined and clarified. The objectives of the study and the conceptual instruments were combined and thereafter linked to HIV/AIDS as a real life phenomenon. The literature reviewed assisted in accessing sources relevant to the topic, in setting the theoretical framework for the study and selecting appropriate tools to measure and evaluate the adequacy of governmental health and welfare interventions. The theoretical framework of the study is informed by the idea that the Government has obligations in terms of a social contract with society. On this basis, a conceptual instrument was built, bearing in mind section 2 of the 1996 Constitution. The evaluation criteria used involves collection and sifting through information and data while on the same score, making judgements about the validity of information obtained and deriving inferences from such information. / Public Administration / M. Eine multidimensionale Methodik zur Analyse von Bekehrungsmotiven = A multi-dimensional methodology for the analysis of conversion motivesRink, Tobias 28 February 2006 (has links)
Summary
This dissertation examines conversion motives of Southern Sudanese migrants who live in an Islamic context. First of all a theological view of conversion in scripture and its development in the church history is presented. Since every conversion is a multi-dimensional process containing not only theological problems but also sociological, anthropological and religio¬psychlogical aspects, a multi-dimensional approach and a reseach methodology are designed for above context. This methodology is used for a pilot study of five interviews with converts. Each interview is examined separately from a theological, sociological, religio-psychological and anthropological analysis. After this the different views are brought into a critical dialog in order to identify the motives of conversion which are related to cognitive-religious, mystical¬religious, affective, experimental or social-political categories. The results of all individual interviews are merged in a final analysis and reflected in a self-critical evaluation. / Christian Spirituality, Church History and Missiology / M. Th. (Missiology)
