The thesis is based on a long term ethnographic field research, that has been conducted by this work's author in one of the villages within the district of Svidník, Eastern- Slovakia. The work's fundamental frame of topic are the relations between the Roms and non-Roms in the observed village, with main focus put on the actor's perspective of the local Roms. The nature of such relations is observed both synchronuously and diachronously, and foremost in respect of two types of an areal mobility, that at the same time has the potential of a social-economic mobility. The first observed type is the flow of the Roms from the romani village to a non-Roms part of the village, or the surrounding villages; the second is the cross-border migration. At the same time the thesis addresses the relations within the observed Romani community whose internal social diferentiation is partially influenced by the very - successfully or unsuccessfully - implemented mobility. To hold a wider grip of the local relations, the author uses the texts of the Romani-studies expert, Milena Hübschmannová, other related case studies coming from the region of eastern Slovakia, and, paralelly, also the concepts of the postcolonial thinking with emphasis to Frantz Fanon's work. Экстремизм становится одним из основных источников угроз общественной безопасности в Российской Федерации, работа по его профилактике в федеральном вузе является наиважнейшей задачей. Время требует формирования личности будущих выпускников, толерантной к многонациональному человеческому сообществу. Развитие культуры межнациональных отношений молодежи в условиях федерального вуза объективно соответствует законам развития национальных отношений, обеспечивает консолидацию народов на демократической основе и уважение и поддержку патриотических чувств людей, благоприятно способствует сотрудничеству жителей России на основе общечеловеческих нравственных ценностей. По итогам эмпирического исследования и анализа опыта гармонизации межнациональных отношений в студенческой среде был разработан раздел в «Рекомендации по совершенствованию методов и технологий гармонизации межнациональных отношений в студенческой среде на примере УрФУ им. Б. Н. Ельцина». / Extremism is becoming one of the main sources of threats to public security in the Russian Federation, and work on its prevention at a federal university is the most important task. Time requires the formation of the personality of future graduates who are tolerant to the multinational human community. Developing a culture of inter-ethnic relations of youth in a federal university objectively corresponds to the laws of development of national relations, ensures the consolidation of peoples on a democratic basis and respect and support for the patriotic feelings of people, favorably promotes the cooperation of the inhabitants of Russia on the basis of universal moral values. Os Terena que têm a necessidade de ser reconhecidos enquanto seres sociais "civilizados" e, ao mesmo tempo, como indivíduos, procuram se destacar sócio-politicamente interna e externamente às suas áreas. Para que se possa ser um líder político partidário ou político administrativo, é preciso ser escolhido pelos seus patrícios e projetar-se nos diversos cenários. Geralmente, esses indivíduos "emergentes" pertencem às famílias mais influentes - os "troncos" - e são educados desde a infância para liderar. A religião cristã proporciona um ambiente peculiar para tal empreendimento, no qual o Terena aspirante à liderança possa exercitar sua aprendizagem. Dada a organização da Missão Indígena UNIEDAS (MIU), reconhecida aqui como uma das alavancas para o poder, vários líderes se destacaram, porém os "seus espaços" não acomodaram a todas as lideranças concebidas no âmbito da Missão Indígena. Assim, novos espaços foram constituídos para acomodá-los no campo religioso sul-mato-grossense. As Igrejas pentecostais funcionaram como instrumentos apaziguadores internos dos ânimos e via de convivialidade nos espaços indígenas e não-indígenas. As novas denominações, que buscavam inserção em áreas indígenas, a conquistaram entre os Terena, uma vez que os indígenas também necessitavam do apoio daquelas. Nossa hipótese central é que essas novas denominações galvanizaram os dissidentes da UNIEDAS, ampliando os recursos de comunicação e locomoção internos e externos, agregando mais prestígio às novas lideranças, sua família e, consequentemente, para a etnia. Portanto, destacamos a religião cristã como uma via de empowerment Terena, embora consideremos que existam outras como a educação, as associações de moradores, o conselho tribal, as funções públicas de saúde e os Conselhos municipais, estaduais e federais da saúde e da educação, dentre outros. / Abstract: The Christian religious plurality among the Terena's is considered a source of political-religious "empowerment". The Terena's have the need to be recognized as "civilized social beings" and at the same time as individuals who wish to emerge socio-politically in and out of their boundaries. To be a political leader within a party or political administrator one must be chosen by those of their own and project oneself in different scenarios. Usually these emerging leaders belong to influent families -"the stem families" are educated since childhood to lead. The Christian religion provides a peculiar environment for such a venture, where the future Terena leader can exercise what they have learned. The UNIEDAS - Indian Mission (MIU) organization is recognized here as the springboard to power; many leaders have come into sight, but "its spaces" were not sufficient to accommodate all the leaders that were conceived in the Indian mission. So, new spaced were open in the religious field of Mato Grosso do Sul. The Pentecostal churches worked as internal peacemakers of temper and relationships in the indigenous and non-indigenous areas. The new denominations that wished to enter the Indian areas conquered these spaces because the Indians also needed their support. Our central hypothesis is that the new denominations galvanized the UNIEDAS dissidents, broadening the communication resources and internal and external locomotion giving a higher prestige to the new leaders their families and consequently their ethos. Thus we highlight the Christian religion as an empowerment avenue for the Terena'; although we also consider education, community centers, tribal council, county, State and Federal health and education councils among others as ways to reach it / Doutorado / Etnologia Indigena / Doutor em Ciências Sociais

Магистерская диссертация «Роль молодежных организаций в гармонизации межэтнических отношений и профилактике экстремизма в молодежной среде на примере Североуральского городского округа Свердловской области» состоит из введения, двух частей, заключения, библиографического списка, приложений. В теоретической части представлены особенности роли молодежных организаций в профилактике экстремизма в молодежной среде: основные понятия, теоретические подходы, проанализированы межэтнические отношения в молодежной среде: основные понятия и пути их гармонизации посредством молодежных организаций. В практической части описывается разработка программы по профилактике экстремизма и гармонизации межнациональных отношений с привлечением потенциала молодежных организаций Североуральского городского округа, обозначены особенности реализации и анализ программы по профилактике экстремизма и гармонизации межнациональных отношений в учреждении по работе с молодежью на примере Муниципального казенного учреждения «Объединение молодёжно-подростковых клубов Североуральского городского округа. В заключении подведены итоги в соответствии с поставленными задачами. Цель исследования – разработка программы по профилактике экстремизма и гармонизации межнациональных отношений с привлечением потенциала молодежных организаций Североуральского городского округа Свердловской области. Объем работы составил 94 страницы. В работе содержатся 4 таблицы, 8 рисунков, 1 приложение. В библиографическом списке представлен 61 источник. / The master's thesis "The role of youth organizations in the harmonization of interethnic relations and the prevention of extremism among young people on the example of the North Ural City District of the Sverdlovsk region" consists of an introduction, two parts, conclusion, bibliography, appendices. In the theoretical part, the features of the role of youth organizations in the prevention of extremism in the youth environment are presented: basic concepts, theoretical approaches, interethnic relations in the youth environment are analyzed: basic concepts and ways of their harmonization through youth organizations. The practical part describes the development of a program for the prevention of extremism and the harmonization of interethnic relations with the involvement of the potential of youth organizations of the North Ural city district, outlines the specifics of the implementation and analysis of the program for the prevention of extremism and the harmonization of interethnic relations in the institution for youth work on the example of the Municipal state Institution "Association of Youth and Adolescent clubs of the North Ural City District. In conclusion, the results are summed up in accordance with the tasks set. The purpose of the study is to develop a program for the prevention of extremism and the harmonization of interethnic relations with the involvement of the potential of youth organizations of the North Ural City District of the Sverdlovsk region. The volume of work was 94 pages. The work contains 4 tables, 8 figures, 1 appendix. The bibliographic list contains 61 sources.

Les relations interethniques dans la Grande Guerre ; regards sur le mythe du soldat canadien-français opprimé

Au Québec, la mémoire de la Grande Guerre renvoie automatiquement à une vision douloureuse de l’événement. Créée et alimentée par des souvenirs à forte charge émotive tels la crise de la conscription, les émeutes de Pâques et l’inhospitalité de l’Armée canadienne envers les combattants canadiens-français, cette mémoire est non seulement négative, mais également victimisante. Dans leur récit du conflit, les Québécois ont pris pour vérité une version qui les dépeint comme boucs émissaires des Canadiens anglais. Acceptée et intégrée autant dans l’historiographie que dans la croyance collective, cette thèse du Canadien français opprimé n’a jamais été questionnée. Ce mémoire entend donc revisiter cette version en la confrontant aux sources laissées par les contemporains. En utilisant la presse anglophone et les témoignages de combattants, il lève le voile sur le regard anglo-saxon envers les Canadiens français et dans une plus large mesure, sur les relations interethniques pendant la guerre. Il témoigne de la réalité du front intérieur comme de celle du champ de bataille pour ainsi proposer une réinterprétation de cette victimisation si profondément ancrée dans le souvenir québécois. / The First World War inevitably brings back painful memories in the province of Quebec. Quebeckers have a negative recollection of the war, viewing themselves as victims. Events related to the Great War such as the conscription crisis, the Easter riots and the inhospitality expressed by the Canadian Forces towards French Canadians are emotionally-charged memories that have nurtured this conception. When writing about the war, Quebeckers depict themselves as the scapegoats of English Canadians and present this notion as a truth. Integrated in both the historiography and popular beliefs, the idea of the oppressed French Canadian has never been questioned. This thesis aims at re-examining this idea by surveying contemporary sources: the Anglophone press and testimonies from soldiers. Its objective is to reassess the attitude and perception of Canadian Anglophones towards French Canadians, and more broadly the nature of interethnic relationships in the army during World War I, both on the home front and on the battlefield. It presents a reinterpretation of the victimisation that is deeply ingrained in the remembrance Quebeckers have of the conflict.

Cette thèse porte sur les représentations des peuples autochtones du Nord forgées par les films et téléfilms soviétiques de fiction. Mobilisant plusieurs approches — l’analyse filmique, l’histoire culturelle du cinéma, l’histoire des représentations et l’histoire politique soviétique —, elle confronte les films à des sources non-films (presse, archives papier, entretiens), afin de mettre en lumière la construction d’une subjectivité et d’un regard. Il s’agit également de décortiquer la fabrication des représentations, dans ses dimensions à la fois les plus concrètes et les plus symboliques. En ce sens, la question de la participation ou de la non-participation des autochtones à la création de leur image filmique, que ce soit devant ou derrière la caméra, constitue une autre interrogation centrale. Les représentations filmiques des peuples du Nord, tiraillées en permanence entre visions du « progrès » et de l’« authenticité », opèrent à l’écran comme autant d’images qui permettent à l’Union soviétique d’évaluer sa propre perception de la modernité. Des années 1920 aux années 1980, les figures cinématographiques autochtones circulent entre deux pôles d’un continuum, qui va de l’incarnation d’une arriération à éliminer au nom de la soviétisation à celle d’une harmonie avec la nature, désormais perdue ou menacée. Par ailleurs, en prenant en compte la question de la contribution des autochtones à la création de leur propre image, cette thèse s’attache à montrer que le film constitue un espace complexe, où plusieurs lectures et usages sont possibles selon la position des participants. / This thesis focuses on the representations of indigenous peoples of the North in Soviet fiction films and made for TV movies. Mobilizing several approaches — film analysis, the cultural history of cinema, the history of representations and Soviet political history — it confronts films with non-film sources (press, paper archives, interviews) in order to highlight the construction of a subjective point of view. It also studies the production of these representations, in both its most concrete and symbolic dimensions. The issue of the participation or non-participation of indigenous peoples in the creation of their image on film, whether in front of or behind the camera, is another central question. The filmic representations of the peoples of the North, constantly torn between visions of “progress” and “authenticity,” operate on the screen as images that allowed the Soviet Union to evaluate its own perception of modernity. From the 1920s to the 1980s, images of indigenous people shifted along a spectrum ranging from the incarnation of backwardness to be eliminated in the name of Sovietization to the embodiment of harmony with nature, now lost or threatened. Moreover, taking into account the question of the contribution of the indigenous people to the creation of their own image, this thesis demonstrates that cinema became a complex space, where different readings and uses were possible according to the position of the participants.
