Statistické metody v demografickém prognózování / Statistical methods in demographic forecastingŠimpach, Ondřej January 2013 (has links)
Dissertation thesis creates a complex and modern scheme for stochastic modeling of demographic processes, which is universally applicable to any population in the world. All calculations are described in detail on the data of the Czech Republic. Throughout the work the attention is drawn to the issues, that every analyst must necessarily take into account in order to obtain correct results. Data comes mostly from the Czech Statistical Office database. However, some data matrices had to be calculated for the purposes of the thesis. Particular demographic processes (mortality, fertility and migration) are modeled using selected modern approaches (ARIMA models, Lee-Carter method) and based on the constructed models these processes are forecasted to the future. Using partially projected results a comprehensive demographic projection of the population of the Czech Republic is created up to the year 2050. However, not on the basis of the current state and expert expectations of the future development, but based on sophistically projected demographic events, which are explained using the trends and main components of their previous development. This demographic projection is created in three scenarios (marked SC1, SC2 and SC3), which are made from selected optimal models, presented in particular sections of the work. One part of the thesis is also the backward retropolation of age-specific number of net migrants by sex in the Czech Republic since 1948. On its basis the analysis and prediction of the migration can be done. The thesis is a synthesis of the projections of demographic processess of mortality, fertility, and migration. Final results are confronted with three scenarios of population projections of the Czech Republic created by the Czech Statistical Office and five scenarios of population projections by Eurostat. The purely statistical approach of demographic forecasting in comparison with deterministic models and expert expectations has its positives and negatives. Therefore, the different results due to various methodological approaches are discussed and compared in the conclusion of the thesis.

Aplikácia uľahčuje prístup ku výsledkom testov vygenerovaných frameworkom Emender v CI/CD systémoch a poskytuje technical writer-om ucelené užívateľské prostredie.

Metody a organizace testování software / Software Testing Organization and MethodsKajan, Miroslav January 2015 (has links)
This document's objective is to propose a set of methods for improvement of the organization and methodology of software testing and subsequent application of those in a real environment of the Siemens CZ company. The first part discusses the development models in terms of testing segment and the following section focuses specifically on the methodology of agile testing and development as a whole, including applicable metrics for evaluating various aspects of software exiting the testing phase. The third major section lets the reader get acquainted with the Siemens organization and methods of their software testing and by analyzing real-world project it assesses the strengths and weaknesses of the particular testing process and its management. The practical part of this thesis lies in the design and implementation of a plug-in for the JIRA environment. This tool is able to identify and quantify the long term status of the project phases of agile development and testing in a clear and interactive way, while the outputs are represented by clearly defined problems that can be more easily treated, as one can argue further progress.

The subversion of patriarchy: exploring pastoral care with men in the Church of the Province of South Africa on the East RandBannerman, David Hugh 30 November 2007 (has links)
This dissertation is concerned with pastoral care with men in the Anglican Church. It is grounded in the rapidly changing post-apartheid years in the East Rand region of South Africa.
It seeks to explore through participatory action research the negative effects of patriarchy as a discourse of power and entitlement on the lives of men of differing cultures in South Africa as victims and perpetrators of abuse.
It also seeks to explore ways of pastorally caring with men through the creation of participative care groups that enable personal stories of men to be told, invitations to responsibility for abuse made, and the negative effects of patriarchal cultural and theological discourse deconstructed, and alternate understandings of masculinity constructed and performed.
The work is done from a contextual theology, pro-feminist perspective, and collaborating with postmodern philosophers Derrida and Foucault, the social anthropologist Bruner and the narrative therapists White, Epston and Jenkins. / Practical Theology / M. ARIMA forecasts of the number of beneficiaries of social security grants in South AfricaLuruli, Fululedzani Lucy 12 1900 (has links)
The main objective of the thesis was to investigate the feasibility of accurately and precisely fore-
casting the number of both national and provincial bene ciaries of social security grants in South
Africa, using simple autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) models. The series of the
monthly number of bene ciaries of the old age, child support, foster care and disability grants from
April 2004 to March 2010 were used to achieve the objectives of the thesis. The conclusions from
analysing the series were that: (1) ARIMA models for forecasting are province and grant-type spe-
ci c; (2) for some grants, national forecasts obtained by aggregating provincial ARIMA forecasts
are more accurate and precise than those obtained by ARIMA modelling national series; and (3)
for some grants, forecasts obtained by modelling the latest half of the series were more accurate
and precise than those obtained from modelling the full series. / Mathematical Sciences / M.Sc. (Statistics)

Machinima : Ett kulturellt fält i rörelse / Machinima : A cultural field reorganizingForsgren, Oskar, Nilsson, Daniel, Forsberg, Christoffer January 2010 (has links)
I mitten av 1990-talet närmare bestämt 1996 gjordes en film kallad Diary of a Camper.
