Desenvolvimento inicial de três espécies nativas do Cerrado em função de lâminas de irrigação e tamanhos de recipiente / Initial development of three native plants species of the Savannah in function of irrigation levels and container sizes

César Antônio da Silva 15 October 2012 (has links)
Aiming to evaluate the development and seedlings quality of three native plants species of the Savannah, in function of irrigation levels and container sizes, three experiments were carried in greenhouse, in Piracicaba, São Paulo. The species used were jatoba plant (Hymenaea courbaril L.), Surinam cherry (Eugenia uniflora L.) and \"baru\" plant (Dipteryx alata Vog.) in the Experiments I, II and III, respectively. The experiments were installed in randomized blocks design, with three replications, in split-plot, in the scheme 2 x 5. Two sizes of containers were used in the plots, and five irrigation levels (20%, 40%, 60%, 80% and 100% of the potential evapotranspiration - ETp, obtained by weighting of seedlings) were used in the subplots. Each subplots was constituted by eight seedlings, at the spacing 22.5 cm between themselves. The containers in the Experiment I, were pots 3.1 L and stiff plastic tube of 4.0 L, while in the Experiments II and III, pots (2.3 L) and container of polyethylene (2.0 L) were used. The substrate was constituted of 50% commercial substrate and 50% fine sand (v/v) mixture. Fifteen liters of vermiculite were added per each 100 L of that mixture. The drip irrigation system was used, with self compensating emitters at flow of 2.0 and 4.0 L h-1, in different combinations to satisfy the irrigation levels. The irrigations were accomplished daily. During the experimental period, the temperature, relative humidity and global solar radiation were recorded in data logger, and the evaporation was mensured in class A pan. The seedling height, the stem diameter and leaves number were appraised at the 80, 120, 160 and 200 days after sowing (DAS), while the leaf area, the root system length, the dry matter mass of roots, stem, leaves and seedling, the ratio between roots dry matter mass and aerial part (MSR/MSPA) and seedlings quality (Dickson Quality Index - IQD) were measured at 120, 160 and 200 DAS. The crop coefficient (Kc) was determined in five stages of the species development. Irrigation levels between 90.1% and 100% of ETp provided larger vegetative development and IQD of H courbaril L. seedlings, up to 200 days of age. Regarding the containers, larger development of the H. courbaril L., E. uniflora L. and D. alata Vog. seedlings was obtained in the stiff plastic tube, the pot (2.3 L) and the polyethylene container, respectively. E. uniflora L. and D. alata Vog. seedlings presented larger development and IQD, under the irrigation level 100% (absence of water deficit). Larger dry matter mass production of the H. courbaril L. and D. alata Vog. seedlings was observed between 120 and 160 DAS, and of the E. uniflora L., in the stage from 160 to 200 DAS. E. uniflora L. seedlings under to more intense water deficit, they presented resistance to the drought, in reason of the largest ratio MSR/MSPA. Seedlings of up to 200 days after sowing, the Kc presented the following values, by methodology of Penman-Monteith: 0.54-1.01 (H. courbaril L), 0.35-0.67 (E. uniflora L.) and 0.52-0.85 (D. alata Vog.), being larger in the stage from 160 to 200 DAS.

Uticaj morfoloških obeležja na modelovanje jezika primenom neuronskih mreža u sistemima za prepoznavanje govora / Influence of Morphological Features on Language Modeling With Neural Networks in Speech Recognition Systems

Pakoci Edvin 30 December 2019 (has links)
It can be applied in various areas which<br />involve communication between humans and machines. This thesis primarily<br />deals with one of two main components of speech recognition systems - the<br />language model, that specifies the vocabulary of the system, as well as the<br />rules by which individual words can be linked into sentences. The Serbian<br />language belongs to a group of highly inflective and morphologically rich<br />languages, which means that it uses a number of different word endings to<br />express the desired grammatical, syntactic, or semantic function of the given<br />word. Such behavior often leads to a significant number of errors in speech<br />recognition systems where due to good acoustic matching the recognizer<br />correctly guesses the basic form of the word, but an error occurs in the word<br />ending. This word ending may indicate a different morphological category, for<br />example, word case, grammatical gender, or grammatical number. The<br />thesis presents a new language modeling tool which, along with the word<br />identity, can also model additional lexical and morphological features of the<br />word, thus testing the hypothesis that this additional information can help<br />overcome a significant number of recognition errors that result from the high<br />inflectivity of the Serbian language.</p>

Schepull, Franziska 25 November 2022 (has links)

Production de protéines recombinantes par des plantes carnivores génétiquement transformées : application à Drosera rotundifolia et transfert de la technologie à Nepenthes alata / Production of recombinant proteins by genetically modified carnivorous plants : application to Drosera rotundifolia and technology transfer to Nepenthes alata

Biteau, Flore 14 May 2009 (has links)
The present work focuses on the development of a new innovating technology, called PAT Friday®, aiming at producing recombinant proteins into the extra-foliar fluid of modified carnivorous plants. Two objectives were assigned to this work : 1- to realize a proof of concept of the technology on the experimental model Drosera rotundifolia, transformed with marker and human genes, to confirm the occurence of the recombinant proteins into glu ; and 2 - to evaluate and develop, the technology on the model Nepenthes alata, more adapted to industrial scaling-up. The results indicate the presence of two marker proteins GUS and GFP inside the tissues and into the glu of modified Drosera rotundifolia plants. The same plant species has also been transformed with human gamma interferon and intrinsic factor genes. The corresponding human recombinant proteins have been detected into the plant tissues. Potential industrial scaling-up has been studied with the species Nepenthes alata. The results show a potential productivity of 10 to 15 kg of total proteins per hectare per year, thanks to non-destructive repeated harvests, and possibility to efficiently control the natural proteinase activity. The elaboration of a regeneration protocol has been undertaken through indirect organogenesis and somatic embryogenesis, with a view to transform genetically this plant. PAT Friday® technology, with simplified extraction and purification methods of the proteins of interest targeted into the liquid secretions, opens new perspectives in the field of therapeutical proteins produced in plants

ESTRUTURA GENÉTICA POPULACIONAL E FLUXO GÊNICO EM Dipteryx alata VOGEL (FABACEAE) NO CERRADO / Populational genetic structure and gene flow in Dipteryx alata Vogel (Fabaceae) from Brazilian Cerrado

SOARES, Thannya Nascimento 22 January 2009 (has links)
Made available in DSpace on 2014-07-29T14:52:09Z (GMT). No. of bitstreams: 1 Tese thannya nascimento.pdf: 3166640 bytes, checksum: 0a9faeb659c9594423ee5e7f8b495662 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2009-01-22 / The goal of this study was to evaluate the genetic structure and the spatial pattern of intra and interpopulational gene flow of Dipteryx alata Vogel, based on nuclear and chloroplastidial microsatellite markers. Primers were developed based on sequencing of random fragments from a shotgun genomic library for detection of microsatellite regions. 12 microsatellites regions were obtained from 688 sequences, which allowed the construction of pairs of primers. These regions are composed of motifs with two to six nucleotides, ranging from 136 to 380 base pairs. This shows that the random sequencing strategy from shotgun libraries is interesting because it allows the achievement of primers for repetitive regions with different motifs. Two of these loci (Da_E06 e Da_E12) were polymorphic with three alleles each. He estimation for these loci showed satisfactory values (0.2946 and 0.2879, respectively), considering the number of alleles. Also, we used a transferred primer from the species Phaseolus vulgaris (BM164) for D. alata. Moreover, other two chloroplastidials microsatellite primers were used for molecular analyses of georeferenced subpopulations, totalizing 775 plants distributed over the natural occurrence area of Cerrado. 210 of these plants were collected and georeferenced one by one along the margins of the Araguaia River in the states of Mato-Grosso (RAMT) and Goiás (RAGO) for spatial distribution of genetic variability in local scale analysis. The relationship between estimations of genetic diversity parameters with patterns of potential distribution of species was evaluated. This was used to test the hypothesis that the genetic variability of D. alata populations is distributed according to the central-periphery model. D. alata subpopulations showed considerable high levels of genetic variability that was significantly structured among subpopulations and well structured in space, both for nuclear and chloroplastidial data. The estimation of the apparent cross-fertilization rate (ta = 1.0575) indicates that the species is allogamous. Estimations of migration rates by pollen and by seeds were lower than one, indicating that seed dispersal contributes more effectively for total gene flow. Estimates of the genetic diversity parameters from the Araguaia River population showed similar values between both margins. The estimation of the apparent cross-fertilization rate (0.9434) indicated that the Araguaia River is not a physical barrier to effective gene flow. The effective size of the neighborhood, i.e., the mean number of individuals in an area where panmixia occurs was 85.64 and 22.99 for nuclear and chloroplastidial data, respectively, indicating that seed dispersal is more restricted. The correlogram generated with chloroplastidial data presented a cline pattern of variance more evident than with nuclear data, suggesting that the presence of spatial genetic structure is being more influenced by seed dispersal. We observed that the genetic parameters do not follow a classical central-periphery model, because peripheral population (according to geographical distribution of sampling locations) tended to demonstrate higher values for these estimations, mainly the South and Western subpopulations. The relationship found between the fixation index (f) with human impact indicated that the subpopulations evaluated can be affected by fragmentation process and land use, probably caused by the recent human colonization in Cerrado biome.
