A Representação Social
This study aim was to analyze the inclusion/exclusion significance of mathematical teaching
built by teachers in both a typical and in Specialized Care Educational classroom (Sala de
Atendimento Educacional Especializado – SAEE) in the state of Pernambuco. From the
Social Representation Theory (Teoria das Representações Sociais- TRS) of Serge Moscovici,
soughtto comprehend the meaning Math teaching has for those teachers who teach on SAEE.
In this research, we had the mathematical teaching as the objective, since the discipline has
polemic and polysomic stands, built on common sense, through historic aspects that trace its
insertion on educational modality. The educational inclusion for disable people is permeated
by issues of social, economic, and historical orders which is comprehended by a fan of values,
concepts and conceptions that bases and dictate actions and politics. Historically, the
disabilities were marginalized with a disabled view, which gave favor on this study, the object
of social representation (Math teaching), to evoke different educational values and practices
front the diversity this differences show to teachers. Moscovici proposed a theory that
embraces social contexts and social thought with a belief, ideology, superstition and culture,
constructs of a social reality, and communication between values and beliefs. The Social
Representation has as function to make familiar that is not familiarized with a specific group,
using two important processes, the anchorage and objectification. For methodology, we
applied Free Association Tests, with participation of 70 subjects from different cities within
the state of Pernambuco, which allowed the analysis of the definition of the central core with
software EVOC’ help; we did it in two face to face focal groups attendance sections with
from SAEE and typical classrooms and the records were analyzed according to Bardin’s
thematic perspective. We found cultural meanings anchored on Math, as a hard subject matter
to learn, fragile on teachers’ formation, dichotomy between practice and speech about
inclusion, searching for a concrete teaching reality in an abstract Math teaching and the
didactical success anchorage through affective teaching practices. The sense of exclusion is
still predominant, even among teachers with specialization that teaches in a SAEE.

Circuitos resistivos autossimilares / Autossimilar resistive circuitsSantos, Claudio Xavier Mendes dos 07 March 2016 (has links)
This work is a study of resistive circuits which present a characteristic of self similarity in their configuration. The construction of these circuits is made in a self recursive way, analogously to a self similar fractal. The circuits are analyzed by their equivalent resistance, and a condition for convergence of this quantity is obtained. Auxiliary concepts that are necessary to this dissertation theme treat the resistive circuit as a graph, and concepts involving self similar fractals. It is proposed at the end of each chapter interdisciplinary activities that are accessible to high school students, with topics involving equivalent resistence, sequences, sets, and notions of area and perimeter.

Previous issue date: 2008-08-08 / With the social, economical and technological changes which happen in a vertiginous way, new demands are imposed to the teaching systems in all level and in relation to the citizen s profile who wants to graduate. It is required for the person to be creative, intelligent, able of solving problems, to adapt himself to the changes and mainly, to generate, select and interpret information. The education should be compromised with the pupil s total development. The National Curriculum Parameters from the High School bring a work proposal focused on the development of competence and ability. One of these competences is the reading competence and, for its development, the work with reading is of extreme importance. The objective of the paperwork, bearing the line of research: University, Teaching and Teacher s formation , is to analyze how it the math teacher sees the reading competence in the High School Math classes. For this, we ran over a series of authors who deal with the theme. To collect the basis for the research a questionary, holding questions to ten math teachers who act in the State High School which are jurisdictioned to the West Campinas Teaching Region Border, was initially given. Afterwards, two of the teachers were interviewed for deeping the questions. The analysis was structured following the theme axis: The reading in the Math classes; Strategies to the reading development in the Math classes; Teacher's difficuties in relation to the reading work in the Math classes and training to the reading work in the High School Math classes. Although the importance which the participant teachers assign to reading, it was verified that the majority do not develop expressive reading activities in their classes. It was also testified that in the teachers initial backgrounds, in no occasion, the reading development issue was handled. It is expected that this research contributes to a discussion about the theme and enlightens, in the teachers formation, the importance of practices which focus the reading in the math classes.

Previous issue date: 2013-11-22 / This research aims to investigate the proposed game in Reading and Writing Program math (courseware instituted by the state government of S?o Paulo) 3rd year of elementary
school. We justify our investigation to understand that the use of games to teach mathematics can result in important tool to aid in the development of mathematical knowledge by students. This is a qualitative research and data collection was done through two moments in the 3rd grade classroom, with the game "Product with dices" and the other with the exercise of multiplication in notebook. After the two moments the students had to answer what they liked most, justifying the answer. We work in a school of public schools using this program, with the class of 3rd year we had 25 students from the age of eight. For our research, we set up the following problem question: What are the prospects for a teaching job with games in mathematics lessons for 3rd grade of elementary school present in the practices presented in Reading and Writing Program? With regard to the prospects of working with the games, we answer the question by analyzing the problem that the material proposed as a game. Find games that emphasize
content, games and knowledge that are proposed in sequential pages of the Collected activities. These games do not stimulate questioning, neither the registration of concepts and strategies. Through the students' answers we realize that we must reconstruct the ways to engage with content math games in program, seeking to promote games that can expand the possibilities of reasoning, creativity and search results.

Previous issue date: 2007-09-14 / The following project integrates into the Research Group of Historic-Cultural Theory and
pedagogical activities of the activities of the Education Theory and Pedagogical Process
Research Center from the post-graduation program of the Catholic University of Goiás. The
research has as object of work the teaching of mathematics for the elementary stages. It came
out from the thought that the difficulties of learning mathematics are due to a variety of
factors, especially the bad standard of teaching in use nowadays. Therefore, the main point of
the research is: How can the teaching of math be developed so that it assures effective
learning? The project is based on the teory created V. V. Davydov. The research has as main
aim, elaborate and improve the stages of the learning process, so that we will have an easy
and effective learning of a math subject. The specified goals were: Verify the learning quality
of the students, identify the advantages and possible difficulties with the use of this
methodology of teaching. The research consisted of an experience done with elementaryschool
students of a municipal school in Goiânia. Data was collected by observations and
research done on school documents. The subject of the experience was to divide numbers.
The difficulties found during the process were due to the bad level of learning and cognitive
development of the pupils in other areas like reading, writing, and text interpretation. The
principal contribution of this project consisted of demonstrating that, despite the difficulties
and limitations in many areas of students school-life, it is possible to use methods based on
the Development-teaching and cause changes that lead students to better results on math
learning.
iniciais.
A principal contribuição desta pesquisa

Previous issue date: 2016-12-07 / This research investigates how Math and Science textbooks from 4th and 5th years of Elementary School address interdisciplinary study between these two subjects. It aims to identify whether and how interdisciplinary proposals are implemented using what nowadays are inside these materials. We show theoretical aspects that bring interdisciplinary concept and reflect about the textbooks importance as a teaching support inside classroom, within a perspective that students who learn through textbook scan have different dimensions? approaches that pervade their historical and cultural nature. The methodology used was documental analysis of some selected works, as four Math and Science textbooks from 4th and 5th year of elementary school - two collections of each subject -, with also theoretical background on interdisciplinary studies for Math and Science teaching. Interdisciplinary method is a term still under construction, which deserves further studies. There are paradigmatic barriers that still make school education persisting in strict disciplinary model, fragmented and decontextualized. As research results, we bring that educational resources such as textbooks can break this actual model, but also can establish disciplinary strictness. Our textbooks analysis, those most widely distributed in 2016 at national level also showed a weak action on interdisciplinary approaches for Math and Science subjects, both in the collections of one and other contents. We also identified predominance of certain themes and few information about others, in interdisciplinary moments analyzed such as, for example, themes related to the environment. In the Teacher Manuals presented at the end of each work, we find a theoretical fragility related to interdisciplinary study, as well as a divergence of interdisciplinary approach between works by different authors, but from the same publisher. Finally, we consider interdisciplinary study must contemplate, rather than theories and terminologies, a paradigmatic transformation that respects its historical and dialectical movement, encompassing all subjects involved in the teaching-learning process: teachers, students, parents, editors and textbooks writers, textbooks evaluators, teacher trainers, among many others.

Previous issue date: 2008-11-03 / Secretaria da Educação do Estado de São Paulo / According to the majority of educator s elementary school students show difficulties
in learning complex mathematic concepts, such as fractions. Such results urgently
recommend the development of new teaching methodologies able to help students to
overcome their difficulties. Behavioral analyst researchers have been making use of the
stimulus equivalence paradigm in order to teach a mathematical repertoire. This paradigm
allows to account for the emergency of new behaviors from other previously instructed, and
that happens when different stimulus classes are made to be equivalents. Based on this
paradigm point the present work elaborated and tested a procedure for teaching fractions
using the MESTRE (GOYOS, ELIAS & RIBEIRO, 2005) software as a tool. Three stimulus
classes were used: dictated proportional fractions (A), pictorial fractions (B) and printed
proportional fractions (C), all of them with values lower than 9.Participated of the study two
children age 9, in the 3rd grade of two private elementary schools of São Paulo city. The
teaching Schedule was applied over two participants with nine years old, students of the third
grade in private educational institutes (Sao Paulo South Square). Design involved pre-tests,
teaching phase and tests for emerging relations and generalization test. The AB and BC
relations were taught; relations BD, CB, AC and CD were only tested for emergency of other
relations (subjects should read printed proportional fractions). Generalization was tested
submitting students to fractions not previously taught. Part of these had denominators which
had not been employed during the training phase. Results indicated that not trained relations
BD, CB, AC and CD (where subjects should read printed proportional fractions) emerged
showing that stimulus classes A, B and C became equivalents. Besides students proved to be
able to read fractions without explicit training, making evident that the educational program
was effective and that the equivalence paradigm is a helpful tool the fill the gaps left behind
software educativo MESTRE (GOYOS, ELIAS & RIBEIRO, 2005).

Previous issue date: 2008-09-29 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / The purpose of this study was to investigate the possibility of reintroducing the negative whole numbers, from a teaching intervention focusing on problem solving, using games as teaching resources and, also, verifying the understanding from the students over the operations (adding and subtracting) with positive and negative whole numbers, from The work done with the textbook adopted by the school in which we did the research. For such, a interventionist research was done with students from three groups from the seventh grade (which used to be 6th grade) of Elementary school, from a private school in São Paulo: two groups constituted the experimental group (EG) and one constituted the control group (CG) The field research was divided in two steps: applying diagnostic tools (prior and after the tests)for the EG and the CG and applying the teaching intervention, using the game Winnings and Losses and the Surprise Ring Game only in the EG. From the theoretical point of view, Jean Piaget, Lino Macedo, Cecília Kimura, Julia Borin, Lara and Murcia s ideas were used as a support over games and knowledge acquisition. Results: the result analysis from the tests of the CG and E showed prior to the test that the students really had some knowledge over negative whole numbers. The groups results in relation to the tests showed that there was difference in the results and this indicates improvement with an evolution of 13.9% on EG, representing a growth of 20.3% in relation to the prior test. The CG showed an evolution of 13.7%, which represents a growth of 20.3% in relation to the prior test. Thus, the growth of the EG was higher than the one from the CG. However, both groups showed a greater difficulty in solving number expressions that involved negative whole numbers. As for the teaching intervention, it was observed that the games may contribute to the significant learning of negative whole numbers.

建構取向教學在國中一年級數學課之實驗研究 / The experiment on math achievement of the seventh grade students - the constructivist approach葉倩亨, Yeh, Chien-Heng Unknown Date (has links)
The experiment on math achievement of the seventh grade
