Os temas economia circular e gestão do ciclo de vida de produtos vem ganhando cada vez mais importância nos meios acadêmico e empresarial. Isso se deve a diversos fatores, como o risco de esgotamento de recursos naturais, o aumento do preço de commodities e um maior rigor das legislações. Fica cada vez mais evidente a necessidade de mudança do modelo linear para modelos circulares. Entretanto, a literatura carece de referências que auxiliem as organizações modificarem a gestão para atender essa necessidade. Apesar disso, são poucos os trabalhos que sistematizam as práticas e técnicas em modelos de referência para a gestão, fazendo com que as organizações não saibam por onde começar sua jornada rumo à economia circular. Assim, esta pesquisa tem como objetivo propor um modelo de gestão orientado à economia circular e à melhoria ambiental do ciclo de vida de produtos. O modelo em questão foi desenvolvido a partir de uma extensa revisão da literatura sobre os temas gestão do ciclo de vida, economia circular, sistemas de medição de desempenho e gestão ambiental. Os princípios, práticas e técnicas encontrados foram sistematizados na estrutura da ISO 14001:2015, resultando na primeira versão do modelo. Em seguida, o modelo foi avaliado por especialistas e profissionais da área de gestão ambiental, gestão do ciclo de vida e economia circular. Adicionalmente, foram realizados estudos de casos em empresas que adotam práticas de gestão do ciclo de vida e economia circular, com o intuito de se identificar novas práticas, instrumentos, além das barreiras que essas empresas enfrentam. Por fim, o modelo foi revisado e melhorado, resultado na versão final. O resultado desta pesquisa contribui para a teoria e prática de gestão organizacional, ao propor um modelo com práticas e técnicas, com base científica, ao passo que apresenta um guia para empresas inserirem práticas de gestão que suporte a transição para economia circular. / Circular economy and life cycle management have been have increasingly gained attention of researchers and practitioners. The risk of depletion of natural resources, the higher prices of commodities and strict laws are pushing companies towards a new way of doing business. The current linear model is no more suitable, but question like where and how to start this change have not yet been answered. There is a lack of studies that attempt to answer this question, especially regarding organizational management. This thesis aims to fill this gap by developing a management model oriented to circular economy and improvement of environmental performance of life cycle of products. The model was developed throughout an extensive literature review on life cycle management, circular economy, performance measurement and environmental management. The circular economy and life cycle management principles, practices and techniques were systemized into ISO 14001:2015 framework. Then, experts and practitioners evaluated the model answering a questionnaire. Next, cases studies were carried out in companies that adopt life cycle management and circular economy practices. The main purpose of cases studies was to identify circular economy and life cycle management practices and the main barriers to its implementation. Finally, the model were revised and improved. The management model contributes to literature, by framing practices and tools in phases and steps, while it presents a guide for companies to include circular economy and life cycle approach into business management.

IC產品的產品生命週期極為短暫且市場上競爭十分地激烈,因此「創新」巳是IC設計公司求生存及求發展的不二法門。而如何有效地管理及衡量公司的創新活動以達成企業的目標,巳是以創新為首要發展要務的IC設計公司,首須面對及解決的問題。
公司在開發新產品或是新技術的過程中,往往須將許多無形資產,進行運用以及整合,而IC設計公司具有「無形資產極大化」之特色,因此在對IC設計公司進行創新活動之管理或衡量時,若能將所有無形資產納入考慮,則必可提昇創新管理或衡量之效率。
故在本研究,擬以創新管理與智慧資本理論結合之應用,建構IC設計公司在創新活動下之智慧資本衡量系統,以幫助IC設計創新活動之管理。因此,本研究擬就下述二問題,進行探討:
1、創新各階段活動(投入-流程-產出-效益)各項智慧資本為何?亦即討論各項智慧資本,何者係屬於創新投入階段所需之資源;何者係屬於創新流程階段所需之公司支援;創新產出階段之生成物對公司各項智慧資本之影響;最後在創新效益階段,則係探討創新生成物於市場上表現及所生價值,對公司各項智慧資本之影響;
2、分析創新各階段活動(投入-流程-產出-效益)中,重要之智慧資本衡量指標,以此建立創新活動下之智慧資本衡量系統,幫助公司創新活動之管理。
本研究,經對2家IC設計領導廠商深入訪談,以及15家IC設計公司,共計30名業者調查,以結合應用創新管理與智慧資本之理論。研究之結果認為:
1、IC設計公司,在創新投入階段所須投入之資源,主要是人力資本、創新資本,其次為顧客資本、關係資本,最後是組織文化資本及IT資本;創新過程中,所需之公司支援,主要是組織文化資本及人力資本,其次為IT資本、流程資本及創新資本;創新之產出,主要係對公司創新資本及流程資本產生影響;創新收益階段對公司顧客資本產生影響,其次係創新資本,最後是人力資本;
2、IC設計公司,於創新投入階段,重要投入資源之智慧資本衡量指標為:人力資本衡量指標中之員工盡責的程度、員工工作動機的強烈程度、員工專業技能的良窳、員工工作勝任程度、公司擁有吸引具潛力員工的能力;創新資本衡量指標中之產品設計與開發平均時間、公司掌握新機會的能力、公司回應市場的能力、新產品研發能力因素;組織文化資本衡量指標中之組織擁有創新文化、經營團隊的領導力因素;顧客資本衡量指標中之對客戶需求的了解程度、市場成長性、對目標市場的瞭解因素;以及關係資本衡量指標中之擁有許多堅強的策略夥伴、與策略夥伴的關係、與上中下游體系的關係因素;其中最重要者係,公司擁有吸引具潛力員工的能力、對客戶需求的了解程度、員工專業技能的良窳、公司掌握新機會的能力、擁有許多堅強的策略夥伴、與策略夥伴的關係、與上中下游體系的關係。
創新流程階段,會影響公司創新進行之智慧資本衡量指標為:人力資本中之員工盡責的程度、員工工作動機的強烈程度、每年核心員工平均流動率、員工專業技能的良窳、員工工作勝任程度;創新資本中之公司智慧財產管理制度;組織文化資本中之組織擁有學習文化、組織員工擁有互相支援的氣氛、組織擁有創新文化、組織成員團隊合作的程度、經營團隊的領導力因素;流程資本中之策略執行程度因素;IT資本中之公司資訊系統存取的容易度、員工透過科技緊密連結組織內部的工作流程因素;其中最重要者為,員工透過科技緊密連結組織內部的工作流程、組織員工擁有互相支援的氣氛、組織成員團隊合作的程度。
在創新產出階段,而主要衡量之智慧資本衡量指標為創新資本中之產品設計與開發平均時間、智慧財產數量、智慧財產品質造成影響;其中最重要者為智慧財產品質。
在創新效益階段,主要衡量之智慧資本衡量指標為創新資本中之研發領導地位,以及顧客資本中之客戶滿意度、客戶忠誠度、市場佔有率;其中最重要者市場佔有率。 / Facing the short life cycle of IC products and competitive market, “innovation” has been the only way for IC design house to survive and develop. But how to manage and measure innovation activities to reach the goal of corporate are really the problem need to be faced and solved for IC design house which reviews innovation as the most important thing.
In the process of developing new products and new technologies, companies usually need to use and integrate many resources and intangible assets. IC design house has the features of “maximizing intangible assets”. If IC design house can take all the intangible assets into account when managing and measuring innovation activities, then the efficiency of innovation management and measurement will be enhanced.
In this research, I construct “the measurement system of intellectual capital under innovation activities” of IC design house by combining the theories of innovation management with intelletcual capital to manage the innovation activities of IC design. Therefore, this research will discuss the following issues:
1. Which kind of intellectual capital is attributed in each innovation stage (input-process-output-outcome) ? In another word, this study explores what kind of intellectual capital is the necessary resource in the input stage of innovation ? What kind of intellectual capital is the necessary support in the process stage of innovation ? What kind of intellectual capital is influenced in the output stage of innvaiton? What kind of intellectual capital is influenced in the outcome stage of innovation when the innovation output performing and creating value in the market?
2. Based on the findings of important intellectual capital indicators in each innovation activities (input-process-output-outcome), I build the “the measurement system of intellectual capital under innovation activities” to manage the innovation activities of company.
Through interviewing 2 leading IC design companies and surveying 15 IC design companies (30 investigators), and combining the theories of innovation management with intellectual capital, my conclusions are as follows :
1. For IC design house, the primary resources in the input stage of innovation are human capital and innovation capital. The secondary resources are customer capital and relationship capital ; organization culture capital and IT capital are the last.
In the process stage of innovation, the primary supports are organization culture capital and human capital, then another supports include IT capital, process capital and innovation capital.
The innovation outputs influence innovation capital and process capital. The innovation outcomes have the main impacts on customer capital, then on innovation capital, and on human capital at last.
2. For IC design house, the important intellectual capital indicators of resources in the stage of input are as follows : the employee’s responsibility, the employee’s motivation, the employee’s skill, the employee’s qualification and the company’s abilities to attract potential employees for human capital. In addition, another important indicators include time of product development and design, ability of catching new opportunities, ability of reponsing the market, ability of new product design for innovation capital, and innovation culture, leadership for organization culture capital. Knowing the need of customers, market growth and knowing the target market are important for customer capital. Having many alliances, relationship with alliances and relationship with value chain should be noticed for relationship capital. All in all, the company’s abilities to attract potential employees, knowing the need of customers, the employee’s skill, ability of catching new opportunities, having many alliances, relationship with alliances, and relationship with value chain are more important indicators than others.
In the stage of process, the important intellectual capital indicators that will have impacts on the ongoing innovation activities are as follows : the employee’s responsibility, the employee’s motivation, turnover of keyperson per year, the employee’s skill, the employee’s qualification for human capital. Mechanism of intellectual property management is important for innovation capital. Learning culture, supportive atmosphere, innovation culture, teamwork, leadership should be considered for organization culture capital. Execution of strategy is necessary for process capital. Convenience of getting/saving information and connecting through IT infrastructure are important for IT capital.
In the stage of output, the primary intellectual capital indicators are time of product development and design, quantity of intellectual property and quality of intellectual property. In summary, the quality of intellectual property is the most important.
In the stage of outcome, the main intellectual capital indicators are R&D leading position for innovation capital, customer satisfication, customer royalty, and market share for customer capital. All in all, market share is the most important indicator.

The purpose of this thesis is to identify the factors that drive efficiency and effectiveness in technical development projects performed at ÅF’s department of product development. In addition to identifying and analyzing these factors, the thesis also analyzes what needs to be taken in to account in order to implement a measurement system that is able to both monitor and control the identified factors. The thesis has been performed in a qualitative manner. It is based on interviews with people from several different technological companies, within different lines of business, all of which are customers to ÅF’s department of product development. The results show that there are seven critical factors for project efficiency and effectiveness. These consist of: Communication, Project scope, Top management support, Technical competence, Availability of technical equipment, Processes and methodologies and, lastly, Motivation. In order to measure these factors, a KPI based measurement system has been analyzed and recommended. To be able to establish a measurement system for specific development projects, the measurement system needs to be able to take a great number of things into consideration. The selected KPIs need to reflect and represent critical factors for efficiency and effectiveness, but also at the same time be adapted to different aspects such as the project’s resources, activities and deliverables. Lastly, the thesis discusses the use of a KPI library in addition to a set of criteria for choosing appropriate KPIs, and exemplifies how to present the chosen KPIs.

In the field of private higher education institutions, there are multiple opportunities that arise before the effective use of this information flow that come through, especially the digital social networks. This study aims to evaluate the competitiveness of private higher education institutions, based on a system of performance measurement of digital social networks. Resorting to the scientific area, there is a gap and the paucity of studies that attempt to topics such as performance measurement and evaluation of online social networks from the perspective of organizational strategic management. Under this bias, the relevance of the theme of this work is given in that it will provide a framework of concepts and references that confirm the importance of the role of social networks in organizations, particularly as regards the treatment of opinions that can arise from interactions in social networks, with a view to organizational competitiveness. With regard to procedures and techniques, the research is characterized as a multicases study and the nature, it is an applied research that attempts to evaluate the processes of competitiveness of private higher education institutions that emerge from their interactions in digital social networks, by proposing a measurement system with indicators that are able to observe the opinions that resonate in digital social networks. Data collection will be conducted with all private higher education institutions in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, considering the social networks more than simple information exchange, but a challenge in the organizational environment, which extends the capability of disseminating information. At the end, we will present the relevant data of the research, ie, the conclusions obtained from the application of the proposed system, including detailed descriptions of the criteria used. Although the measurement of social networks through one system, being a nascent field for the strategic management of organizations, the trend is of great development, so that scientific research will help the consolidation of knowledge in this area. In this context, it is suggested to studies following the application of the system presented in this work as opportunity for applications in the field of discussion. / A Web 2.0 revolucionou o modo como governo, as empresas e a sociedade interagem, trabalham, comunicam e compartilham informações e vem sendo amplamente utilizada como ferramenta de apoio à gestão estratégica das organizações. No campo das Instituições de ensino superior privadas, são múltiplas as oportunidades que aparecem diante do bom aproveitamento deste fluxo de informações que surge através, especialmente, das redes sociais digitais. Assim, este trabalho objetiva avaliar a competitividade de Instituições de ensino superior privadas, com base em um sistema de mensuração de desempenho das redes sociais digitais. Recorrendo-se à produção científica da área, observa-se uma lacuna e a incipiência de estudos que atentem para temas como mensuração e avaliação de desempenho de redes sociais digitais sob a ótica da gestão estratégica organizacional. Sob este viés, a relevância do tema deste trabalho se dá na medida em que ele proporciona um arcabouço de conceitos e referenciais que confirmam a importância da atuação das organizações na Web, especialmente no que se refere ao tratamento das opiniões que podem surgir a partir de interações nas redes sociais digitais, com vistas à competitividade organizacional. Com relação aos procedimentos e técnicas, a pesquisa se caracteriza como um estudo de multicasos e, quanto à natureza, trata-se de uma pesquisa aplicada que tentará avaliar os processos de competitividade que surgem a partir das interações nas redes sociais digitais. A coleta de dados foi realizada com todas as Instituições de ensino superior privadas do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul, considerando as redes sociais digitais mais do que simples intercâmbio de informações, e sim um desafio no ambiente organizacional, que amplia a capacidade de difusão de informações. Ao final, serão apresentados os dados relevantes da pesquisa, ou seja, as conclusões obtidas a partir da aplicação do sistema proposto, incluindo descrições detalhadas dos critérios utilizados. Apesar da mensuração de redes sociais digitais, por meio de um sistema, ser um campo ainda incipiente para a gestão organizacional, a tendência é de grande desenvolvimento, de modo que as pesquisas científicas auxiliarão a consolidação dos conhecimentos nesta área. Neste contexto, sugere-se seguir com estudos da aplicação do sistema apresentado neste trabalho, como oportunidade para aplicações das discussões na área.

Previous issue date: 2013-01-30 / Fundo Mackenzie de Pesquisa / This research aimed to verify how the performance measurement system (PMS) and the quality management system (QMS) work in small and medium-sized Brazilian enterprises in the light of the typology proposed by Garengo (2009). The study was conducted by means of two questionnaires, two semi-structured interviews and the analysis of the performance measures used by five small/medium-sized enterprises based in the State of São Paulo. Using a qualitative approach, this exploratory research were interviewed PMS s and QMS s managers, and the data from the first interview were analyzed using the technique of content analysis and has been subsequently triangulated with other data collected. It was found that four out of five companies have a junction in PMS and QMS, with respect to performance measures, despite of the degree of the quality management maturity is not related to the stage of the PMS evolution. It was also found that in three out of five companies quality management area is responsible for coordinating the process of PMS use, without effective participation from the controlling and/or accounting areas in this process. The typology of Garengo (2009), used to check the stage of the PMS evolution, was validated and can be used in practice by professionals in organizations to diagnose and improve the PMS in their enterprises. From the findings of this research, companies with QMS certified by ISO, particularly with higher degree of quality management maturity, can be encouraged to implement or improve the PMS in their organizations. The results of this study should be
considered in the light of its limitations, especially the impossibility of its generalization to the overall universe of SMEs, to the extent that there was used the qualitative approach, without the aim of extrapolating the results for other enterprises. In this sense, quantitative research should be carried out in order to verify these results in a more representative set of SMEs. Finally, it is suggested that research could be carried out to study in more depth the PMS evolution in SMEs, with longitudinal case studies, for example. / Esta pesquisa teve como propósito verificar como funcionam o sistema de mensuração de desempenho (SMD) e o sistema de gestão da qualidade (SGQ) em pequenas e médias empresas brasileiras à luz da tipologia proposta por Garengo (2009). O estudo foi conduzido mediante a aplicação de dois questionários fechados, duas entrevistas semiestruturadas e da análise dos indicadores de desempenho utilizados por cinco pequenas/médias empresas com sede no Estado de São Paulo. Com abordagem qualitativa, nesta pesquisa exploratória foram entrevistados os gestores do SMD e do SGQ, sendo que os dados da primeira entrevista foram analisados com a técnica de análise de conteúdo, tendo sido, na sequência, triangulados com os demais dados coletados. Verificou-se que quatro das cinco empresas pesquisadas possuem uma junção do SMD com o SGQ, no que tange aos indicadores de desempenho, a despeito de o grau de maturidade da gestão da qualidade não estar relacionado com o estágio de evolução
do SMD. Verificou-se ainda que em três das cinco empresas a área da gestão da qualidade é a responsável por coordenar o processo de uso do SMD, sem que haja uma participação efetiva da área de controladoria e/ou contabilidade nesse processo. A tipologia de Garengo (2009), usada para verificar o estágio de evolução do SMD, foi validada, podendo ser utilizada na prática pelos profissionais nas organizações para diagnosticar e melhorar o SMD nas suas empresas. A partir dos achados desta pesquisa, os profissionais de empresas com SGQ certificados pela ISO, principalmente aquelas maior grau de maturidade na gestão da qualidade, podem ser encorajados a implementar ou melhorar o SMD nas suas organizações. Os resultados deste estudo devem ser considerados à luz de suas limitações, sobretudo a impossibilidade de sua generalização para o universo geral das PME, na medida em que houve o emprego de abordagem qualitativa, sem o objetivo de extrapolação dos resultados
para outras empresas. Nesse sentido, pesquisas quantitativas podem vir a ser realizadas com o objetivo de verificar esses resultados em um conjunto mais representativo de PME. Por fim, sugere-se que pesquisas venham a ser desenvolvidas para estudar em maior profundidade como ocorre a evolução dos SMD em PME, a partir de estudos de caso longitudinais, por exemplo.

after fabrication, to fit more than one application within a certain set of applications. These
circuits are flexible, but could lose in performance when compared to other circuit constructed
to serve only a specific application. A programmable system can be applied to measurements
involving a set of sensors with different characteristics of signals and an analog-to-digital
converter. The signal range for each sensor should be adjusted as close to the input range of
analog-digital converter as possible, to ensure the measurement with the full range of the
signal. A solution for ensure the adjustable ranges is the employ a measurement system with
programmable conditioning circuit. In this work, an analog-to-digital converter with
adjustable input range is proposed, providing, equivalently, an adjustable gain value to the
analog input signal. The gain values compose a minimum set to ensure no loss of
measurement range of the signal, with loss of resolution within an acceptable limit. The
proposed converter is a discrete integrator type with switched capacitor circuits. Behavioral
and SPICE simulations were performed to validate the proposed converter. / Circuitos integrados programáveis possibilitam o seu ajuste após a fabricação, para
se adequar a mais de uma aplicação dentro de um conjunto determinado de aplicações. Esses
circuitos são flexíveis, mas podem perder em desempenho quando comparado a outro circuito
fabricado para servir a apenas uma aplicação específica. Um sistema programável pode ser
aplicado em medições que envolvam um conjunto de sensores com características diferentes
de sinais e um conversor analógico-digital. A faixa de sinal em cada sensor deve ser ajustada
o mais próximo da faixa de entrada do conversor analógico-digital, para garantir a medição
com a faixa completa do sinal. Uma solução para garantir o ajuste das faixas é o uso de um
sistema de medição com circuito de condicionamento programável. Neste trabalho, um
conversor analógico-digital com faixa de entrada ajustável é proposto, proporcionando, de
forma equivalente, um valor de ganho ajustável ao sinal analógico de entrada. Os valores de
ajuste pertencem a um conjunto mínimo de ganhos definidos para garantir que não haja perda
da faixa de medição do sinal, com perda de resolução dentro de um limite aceitável. O
conversor proposto é do tipo integrador discreto com circuitos a capacitor chaveado.
Simulações comportamentais e em SPICE foram realizadas de forma a validar o conversor
proposto.

Its theoretical part deals with the potential sources of errors and uncertainties arising from the measuring itself. It also deals with the characteristics of available CMM devices and includes an analysis of the methods assessing the acceptability of the measurement plan. The practical part analyses systematically the current state and proposes a new solution using a program created using a coordinate machine. A comparison of both variants is presented as an output of the thesis.

[pt] A presente dissertação de mestrado tem por objetivo discutir as bases conceituais e definir os critérios para instalação de um sistema de medição centralizada de energia elétrica na Baixada Fluminense, área de concessão da concessionária de energia do Rio de Janeiro (Light). O estudo estima o consumo de energia e o faturamento médio que resulta da instalação proposta em substituição ao sistema de medição tradicionalmente instalado. A localidade do estudo foi definida tendo em vista o elevado índice de perdas e a vulnerabilidade da rede elétrica exposta à comunidade. Dentre os preceitos metodológicos o trabalho inclui uma revisão bibliográfica da literatura sobre sistemas de medição de energia elétrica e estudo do perfil socioeconômico da região selecionada. Com base em dados reais de alguns municípios da região, o trabalho inclui também uma análise do comportamento do consumo antes e depois de a alternativa tecnológica ser implementada. / [en] The objective of this research is to discuss the conceptual basis and define the criteria for the installation of a Centralized measurement system in the Baixada Fluminense, concession area of the electricity utility of Rio de Janeiro (Light). The study estimates the energy consumption and the average revenue that results from the implementation of the proposed facility to replace the traditional measurement system in place. The sub area of concession selected was defined based on the following two characteristics: area associated with high rate of electricity losses and vulnerability of the power grid exposed to the community. The methodology used to develop the work included a literature review on systems of electricity metering and a study of the socioeconomic profile of the selected region. The impact of the proposed technological change on the energy consumption was statistically evaluated based on the nonparametric Wilcoxon test. Based on real data from municipalities located in the region, an analysis of energy consumption behavior was carried out before and after the technology alternative was implemented.

Magnetisch-induktive Techniken finden seit langer Zeit viele Anwendungsfelder in der Medizin, Sicherheitstechnik und der Industrie. Obwohl die technischen Grundlagen seit vielen Jahrzehnten bekannt sind, werden auf Basis detaillierter Analysen spezielle Lösungsansätze verfolgt, die neuartiges Anwendungspotential erschließen sollen. Dazu dienen verbesserte Werkzeuge wie Computersimulationen und analytische Berechnungen sowie neu kombinierte Methoden und Aufbauten aus Leistungselektronik und Signaldetektion.
Die Vorteile magnetisch-induktiver Techniken sind dabei u.a., dass sie das Prüfobjekt nicht schädigen, berührungslos arbeiten, robust gegenüber Verschmutzungen und einfach im Aufbau sind. Ein Nachteil dieser Technik ist die unzureichende Auflösung von feinen Strukturen.
In der aktuellen Forschung und Entwicklung werden unterschiedliche Spulenanordnungen zur Anwendung in industriellen und medizinischen Fragestellungen untersucht und optimiert. Thema dieser Arbeit ist es, durch Verbesserung der Spuleneigenschaften, neue Anwendungsbereiche für die zerstörungsfreie Materialprüfung zu erschließen. Es wird eine Methode vorgestellt, die Eigenschaften magnetisch-induktiver Tastspulen zu verbessern und so den Aufwand bei der Signalverarbeitung zur Rekonstruktion im Rechner zu reduzieren sowie die Auflösung zu erhöhen. Dazu werden zwei Spulenanordnungen, Transmissions - Tastspulen und Gradiometer - Tastspulen, vergleichend gegenübergestellt und ihre technischen Grenzen aufgezeigt. / Magneto-inductive techniques are found in many fields of application areas so in medicine, security technology and industry. Although the technical basis has been known for many decades, special solutions are pursued on the basis of detailed analysis that should open new application potential. These are enhanced tools such as computer simulations, analytical calculations, new combined methods and structures of power electronics and signal detection.
The advantages of magneto-inductive techniques are that they do not damage the test object, are contactless, robust against dirt and simple in construction. A disadvantage of this technique is the insufficient resolution of fine structures.
In current research and development different coil assemblies are investigated in industrial and medical applications. The aim of this work is to improve the coil properties by changing geometric constructions and current patterns of the coils, in order to allow a sharper localization of objects in space and to tap new application areas for non-destructive testing. A method to improve the properties of magneto-inductive coils and thus to reduce the effort in signal processing and image reconstruction as well as to increase the resolution is presented. Two different coil assemblies, gradiometer – coils and transmission – coils, are compared and their technical limits shown.
