Proyecto Pikay Salsas Gourmet / Project Pikay Gourmet Sauces

Camacho Candia, Alexandra Camila, Pongo Quispe, Jimena, Silva Huacausi, Luz Yessenia, Tinoco Leon, Royer Alex, Vargas Ortiz, José Jean Pierre 21 July 2020 (has links)
The present research work consists of the development of a business project, that gets the name of ""PIKAY- Salsas Gourmet"", which is a spicy sauce made of passion fruit and Charapita pepper. This business reflects viability in a short, medium and long period, by means of the study carried out in the area 6 (Jesús María, Lince, Pueblo Libre, Magdalena, San Miguel) and the area 7 (Miraflores, San Isidro, San Borja, Surco, La Molina) from the city of Lima, specifically in the sectors of socioeconomic level “A” and “B”. Therefore, it shows there is little knowlegde that exists in the current market about sauces made from native products of our jungle. The target market that wishes to experiment and taste new flavours in their meals, snacks, among others, do not usually find a variety of different sauces. However, the markets, points of purchase and fairs do not have this type of products to offer to the public on a massive scale. That is the reason why a lot of customers are dissastified, due to the lack of sauces with exotic flavours in the market. To execute this project, interviews, polls, participation in fairs, points of purchase and social networks were developed. Adittionally, an arduous investigation was done about the food industry, and it considers the key resources related to the business to carry out this project..

UNPACKING SUSTAINABLE ENTREPRENEURSHIP: DEEPENING THE ROLE OF PASSION, BRICOLAGE AND AUTHENTICITY

DE BERNARDI, CHIARA 24 April 2020 (has links)
Sustainable development is perhaps the most prominent topic of our time and challenge for businesses. Today, we are facing both social issues, such as an ever-increasing population, and environmental issues, like climate change. We are thus suffering from ozone depletion, destruction of biodiversity, loss of living species, overpopulation, overtourism, and the need of individuals who are able to deal with these challenges through their entrepreneurial behaviour is more than urgent. The serious consequences of environmental degradation have been pointed out for decades, and the current situation requires us to recognize that resources, especially our natural ones, are finite. The thesis focuses on the drivers of sustainable entrepreneurial behaviours aimed at resolving environmental degradation and achieving sustainable development. Through an exploration of environmental passion, environmental bricolage and authenticity, the thesis sets a foundation for developing future thought-provoking studies.

Rekonstrukce ukřižování Ježíše z Nazareta na pozadí archeologie a antické literatury / A Reconstruction of the Crucifixion of Jesus of Nazareth from the Archeological Evidence and Ancient Literary Sources

Toman, Petr January 2014 (has links)
The thesis A Reconstruction of the Crucifixion of Jesus of Nazareth from the Archeological Evidence and Ancient Literary Sources deals in nine chapters with the crucifixion phenomenon. Due to its dual approach it is divided into two major parts - general and specific. General part firstly presents the latest scientific treatises dedicated to this phenomenon (1), afterwards introduces the only archaeological evidence of crucifixion (2), analyzes semantical span of terms related to crucifixion (3) and ultimately defines the crucifion penalty (4). Specific part deals with the events of Jesus of Nazareth's case following the pronouncement of judgement. Attention is firstly paid to the flogging penalty (5) and afterwards to the analysis of the royal mockery game (6). Further it focuses on the transition scene, mainly on search for topography of the Way of the Cross (7). The Golgota chapters initially pay attention to the psychological abuse, perception of the crucifixion punishment, resemblance of Jesus' cross (8) and afterwards to the physical abuse and the search for causes of Jesus' death from the medical point of view (9). Keywords Jesus, crucifixion, cross, capital punishment, passion narratives, archaeology, antiquity

Speaking Out of the Dust: Religious Reenactments with the Specific Iconic Identity of Place

Lewis, Heidi Diane 19 July 2006 (has links) (PDF)
Sometimes, the place where a play is performed is as important as or more important than the play itself. The first known theatrical rituals were performed in spaces which came to hold deep religious significance. Many religious traditions regard certain places as sacred because of spiritually significant events which took place there, sometimes involving the presence of Deity. In an effort to build on that sacrality, sometimes religious cultures bring theatre to these spaces, which, in turn, tend to alter the nature of the theatrical event. This seems especially true in regards to theatre which presents a re-enactment of the events which originally sacralized the performance space. Creating a theatrical performance at the same space, and recreating the same event which made the space sacred in the first place, gives the theatrical event a reflexive quality which performances in a space designated for theatre do not have. The Passion of Osiris in Ancient Egypt and the celebrations and commemorations of the early Christian Church are two examples of theatrical reenactments of sacred events in sacred spaces. Although such performances have been uncommon since those of the early Christians, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints offers two comparable performances today (the Hill Cumorah Pageant and the Nauvoo Pageant); they are also reenactments of sacred events framed by the sacred spaces where they originally occurred. The main commonality of my focus is the sacred physical space which frames each of the performances as a sort of ethereal proscenium arch or a silent witness of sacred events.

Passion for the Job: The Missing Link Between Work Engagement and Employee Well-Being

Ahmed, Ahsan, Balzer, Alexander January 2024 (has links)
This thesis investigates the correlation between passion and both work engagement and employee well-being among young professionals in the Swedish labor market. Given the significant economic losses attributed to low work engagement globally, this research aims to explore how fostering passion in the workplace relates to both productivity and human well-being. By integrating theories of motivational psychology and leadership, the study examines the nature of passion and its correlation to job performance and personal well-being. Utilizing a descriptive quantitative research methodology, data was collected from 74 young professionals aged 18 to 45, currently employed in various industries across Sweden. The research employed validated scales to measure passion, work engagement, and employee well-being and applied statistical analysis to test the hypothesized relationships. The findings reveal a positive correlation between passion and work engagement, indicating that individuals who are passionate about their jobs exhibit higher levels of engagement and job satisfaction. Additionally, the study finds that passion correlates with employee well-being, contributing to reduced stress and improved mental health. These results suggest that organizations can achieve sustainable productivity by fostering environments that nurture employee passion and engagement. The thesis contributes to the field of Human Resources (HR) by providing empirical evidence that supports the integration of passion-focused strategies in organizational practices. It offers practical recommendations for HR professionals and leaders to identify and cultivate passion within their workforce. The implications of this research underscore the importance of adopting a human-centric approach to leadership and organizational development in the contemporary workplace.

Chénier, Jean-François 04 1900 (has links)
This thesis aims to show how the novel or literature in general embodies its own form of knowledge that Pierre Klossowski names “connaissance pathétique” (pathetic knowledge). This knowledge derives from emotivity rather than reason alone and relies on affects and percepts rather than on ideas and concepts. The works of Georges Bataille and Pierre Klossowski will serve both as the examples and the objects of this analysis. These two authors’ fictional writings inevitably appeal to a philosophical pathos that implicate the characters as well as the reader. This “pathetic knowledge” that the subject is called to experience comes to be through the literary process seeking to name the unnamable. This particular aesthetic draws upon Nietzsche’s work, the themes of which taken up in Bataille and Klossowski writings and appear on the levels of subject matter and narration. The resulting writing strategy leads the reader along, presenting a system of provocative, contradictory, and ambiguous interpretations that open up an affect-oriented knowing or thinking. In studying the expression and content of this literary knowing, we will examine how the authors rely on strategies of transgression and simulacra to enable the characters and readers to experience thinking as a form of pathos. In analyzing this “pathetic” poetics as the privileged form of narration in Bataille and Klossowski, this thesis first examines the works of Nietzsche (and, to a lesser extent, those of Sade) in order to understand their impact on the French authors’ works. The thesis’ second part, which focuses on Bataille’s and Klossowski’s writings, demonstrates how their works provoke in the reader a pathetic experience of knowing, particular to literature, that exceeds the knowing ascribed to rationalism. The corpus explored in this research includes Nietzsche’s Birth of Tragedy, The Genealogy of Moral and The Gaya Scienza; Bataille’s L’histoire de l’oeil, Divinus Deus and L’abbé C.; and Klossowski’s La vocation suspendue, Les lois de l’hospitalité and Le Baphomet.

Léger-Bélanger, Eve 08 1900 (has links)
Passion is a vital element in Anne Hebert’s work. This passion results in a peculiar rhetoric for the characters: the rhetoric of suffering. L’Île de la Demoiselle, theater radio broadcast in 1974, and Kamouraska, novel published in 1970, are prime examples of the textual construction of suffering. In the case of those two works, this kind of suffering is distinctive because it seems to be altogether sustained and desired by the protagonists. This master thesis focuses on one specific tool of dramatization, speech, primarily by the main characters Marguerite de Notron and Elisabeth d’Aulnières. We study how the speech builds sustained, mastered and desired suffering of the main characters via dramatization. For each work, we make microlectures, like the theorician Jean-Pierre Richard did, to study how the suffering unfolds in the speech throughout the text. We use the theory of Austin on language to analyze with various textual themes how there is performativity of speech even if the main characters seem inactive. Our goal is to show how speech staging is the same in both works.
