For the accomplishment of the present study we opted for the qualiquantitative research. It was used the software IRAMUTEQ - Interface for Analytical Multidimensionnelles des Textes and Questionaires, GraphPad Prism 6.0 (GraphPad Software Inc., San Diego, CA), the SPSS Software (2011) version 20 (Statistical Package for the Social Science and the Excel 2010 software. The sample consisted of the families of 22 Down Syndrome students from the Espa??o Com-Viv??ncias Project as well as the students themselves (3 of them), the age range of the students between 6 and 33, men and women. The delimitation of the sample was by convenience. It was concluded that leisure activities for this public meant, in brief, a moment of rest, play, stroll, entertain, development, interaction, quality of life, attending to the three perspectives of leisure (rest, fun and personal development) . Therefore, we conclude that the leisure activities experienced by this public in the Espa??o Com-Viv??ncias Project provided improvements in the well-being and quality of life of people with disabilities. / Considerando a escassez de estudos espec??ficos de lazer na ??rea de Educa????o F??sica e por acreditar que esta disciplina, enquanto componente curricular possa contribuir no processo de inclus??o da pessoa com defici??ncia por meio do lazer essa pesquisa foi realizada e objetivou verificar qual o significado de lazer para os familiares de alunos com S??ndrome de Down do Projeto Espa??o Com-Viv??ncias da Universidade Cat??lica de Bras??lia. Para a realiza????o do presente estudo optou-se pela pesquisa qualiquantitativa. Preocupando-se com as barreiras ainda presentes na sociedade e entendendo o papel da universidade enquanto representante de uma institui??o educacional e de forma??o social, este trabalho buscou avaliar os fluxos de inser??o e acompanhamento das condi??es de trabalho de servidores com defici?ncia da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte. Desse modo, realizou-se um estudo de caso com abordagem mista de dados que contou com a participa??o de 18 servidores com defici?ncia, envolvidos no processo institucional de inclus?o entre janeiro de 2015 a setembro de 2016. Os achados resultantes da utiliza??o de entrevistas semiestruturadas, an?lise documental de relat?rios de inspe??o t?cnica, leis e Planos de Desenvolvimento Institucionais, foram apreciados com aux?lio de estat?stica descritiva e an?lise tem?tica-categorial, considerando as caracter?sticas das informa??es acessadas. Concluiu-se que a comunidade acad?mica tem se apropriado do conceito da inclus?o social, mas que a elimina??o de constantes barreiras atitudinais, f?sicas e de procedimentos ainda ocorre timidamente, sendo necess?rio, portanto, um melhor aporte de a??es institucionais voltadas aos servidores com defici?ncia. / Brazilian legislation has been progressing steadily, accompanying the struggle movements in favor of people with disabilities. Legal frameworks, such as the Quota Law and the Brazilian Inclusion Law, are born in line with the paradigm shifts that permeate societies, models that move from conceptions of integration to inclusion. Concerning the barriers still present in society and understanding the role of the university as representative of an educational institution and social formation, this work sought to evaluate the insertion and monitoring flows of the working conditions of disabled employees of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte. Thus, a multi-method study of mixed data approach was carried out, with the participation of 18 disabled employees, involved in the institutional inclusion process between January 2015 and September 2016. The findings resulting from the use of semistructured interviews , documentary analysis of technical inspection reports, laws and Institutional Development Plans were evaluated with the aid of descriptive statistics and thematic-categorial analysis, considering the characteristics of the information accessed. It was concluded that the academic community has appropriated the concept of social inclusion, but that the elimination of constant attitudinal, physical and procedural barriers still occurs timidly, and therefore, a greater and better contribution of institutional actions directed at the deficiency.

Frequ?ncia de incapacidade funcional em idosos residentes nos Distritos Sanit?rios da Restinga e do Extremo-Sul da cidade de Porto Alegre-RS e sua rela??o com fatores socioecon?micos e demogr?ficos

METHODS : Cross-sectional population-based study including 638 elderly aged over 60 years. Katz Index and Lawton Scale were used for evaluation of basic and instrumental activities of daily living, respectively. Functional disability was defined as the need for help in at least one activity evaluated. Demographic variables included age, sex and number of residents. Socioeconomic variables analyzed were education, marital status, socioeconomic level and presence of caregiver. The mean age and number of residents were compared between two levels of disability and analyzed by Student's t test. Functional disability and categorical variables were analyzed by Chi-Square test. The risk of disability was measured by logistic regression and expressed as odds ratio with a 95% confidence interval. RESULTS : The prevalence of functional disability was 15.7% and 26.2% for basic and instrumental activities, respectively. Women had a significantly higher frequency of disability in basic activities, while this frequency for older age and being widowed was significantly higher for both basic and instrumental activities. The risk of functional disability in basic activities were lower in the elderly with low socioeconomic status (p = 0.03) and increased with advancing age (p <0.005). The instrumental activities had the highest number of significant variables in the final logistic regression model, having the same pattern as the basic activities for socioeconomic status (p = 0.01) and age (p = 0.001). In comparison with the elderly who never attended school, all other levels of education were significantly protective (p <0.001). The married state was also protective (p <0.001). CONCLUSION : The frequency of functional disability was not higher than that described in Brazilian literature, but we found a significant association with socioeconomic status and age for both outcomes and education and marital status for instrumental activities. The primary care services should be alert to socioeconomic and demographic characteristics associated with disability. / OBJETIVO : Observar a frequ?ncia de incapacidade funcional dos idosos moradores da ?rea de abrang?ncia do projeto: Diagn?stico de comunidade dos Distritos Sanit?rios da Restinga e do Extremo-Sul e sua associa??o com os fatores socioecon?micos e demogr?ficos observados. M?TODOS : Estudo com delineamento transversal de base populacional, incluindo 638 idosos com idade igual ou superior a 60 anos. Para a avalia??o das atividades b?sicas e instrumentais da vida di?ria foram empregados o ?ndice de Katz e a Escala de Lawton, respectivamente. Definiu-se como incapacidade funcional para cada dom?nio a necessidade de ajuda em, no m?nimo, uma atividade avaliada. As vari?veis demogr?ficas foram: idade, sexo e n?mero de moradores que residem na casa do idoso. As vari?veis socioecon?micas analisadas foram: escolaridade, situa??o conjugal, n?vel socioecon?mico e presen?a de cuidador. As m?dias de idade e n?mero de moradores foram comparadas entre os dois n?veis de incapacidade funcional e testadas pelo T de Student. Tabelas de distribui??o foram constru?das cruzando incapacidade funcional e vari?veis n?o num?ricas, sendo testadas pelo Qui-Quadrado. A chance de apresentar incapacidade funcional foi medida pela regress?o log?stica e expressa em raz?o de chance IC = 95%. RESULTADOS : Observamos uma preval?ncia de incapacidade funcional de 15,7% para atividades b?sicas e 26,2% para atividades instrumentais. Mulheres apresentaram uma frequ?ncia significativamente maior de incapacidade para atividades b?sicas, enquanto idade avan?ada e ser vi?vo(a) foram significativamente maiores tanto para atividades b?sicas quanto para instrumentais. As chances de apresentar incapacidade funcional para atividades b?sicas foram menores em idosos com baixo n?vel socioecon?mico (p=0,03) e maiores com o avan?ar da idade (p<0,005). J? as atividades instrumentais apresentaram maior n?mero de vari?veis significativas no modelo final de regress?o log?stica, tendo o mesmo padr?o que as atividades b?sicas para n?vel socioecon?mico (p=0,01) e faixa et?ria (p=0,001). Na compara??o com os idosos que nunca estudaram, todos os outros n?veis de escolaridade foram significativamente protetores (p<0,001). O estado civil casado foi protetor na compara??o com os outros n?veis da vari?vel (p<0,001). CONCLUS?O : A frequ?ncia de incapacidade funcional encontrada n?o foi maior do que a descrita na literatura brasileira, mas encontramos uma importante associa??o com n?veis socioecon?micos e faixa et?ria para ambos os desfechos e com escolaridade e estado civil para as atividades instrumentais. It is believed that by using a programming language to guide a robot in a virtual setting, the person with VI can better understand O&M skills. In this sense, it was definedthe programming language, which was called GoDonnie, and was based on the Logo language. A GoDonnie is run in a programming environment called Donnie, which provides soundbacks about running the robot. In addition, it has a 2D graphic simulator with a virtual robot, in which one can visualize the execution of the language commands, that is, the virtual robot sedeslocando in the scenario. This simulator allows the use by people with low vision, as well as serve as a resource to better visualize how the person who is blind is interacting with the robot in the environment. A GoDonnie has been evaluated to verify its usability. Evaluations were carried out which included visually impaired people and teachers of programming, without visual impairment. The results pointed out that GoDonnie has good usability, as well as helps the evelopment of O&M. / O objetivo geral desse trabalho foi definir e avaliar uma linguagem de programa??o para estimular as habilidades de orienta??o e mobilidade (O&M) por pessoas com defici?ncia visual. Acredita-se que ao utilizar uma linguagem de programa??o para guiar um rob? em um cen?rio virtual, a pessoa com defici?ncia visual (DV) possa melhor compreender habilidades de O&M. Neste sentido, foi definida a linguagem de programa??o, que foi denominada GoDonnie, e foi baseada na linguagem Logo. A GoDonnie ? executada em um ambiente de programa??o chamado Donnie, que fornece feedbacks sonoros sobre a execu??o do rob?. Al?m disso, possui um simulador gr?fico 2D com um rob? virtual, no qual se pode visualizar a execu??o dos comandos da linguagem, ou seja, o rob? virtual se deslocando no cen?rio. Esse simulador permite o uso por pessoas com baixa vis?o, al?m de servir como recurso para melhor visualizar como a pessoa que ? cega est? interagindo com o rob? no ambiente. A GoDonnie foi avaliada para verificar a sua usabilidade. Foram realizadas avalia??es que inclu?ram pessoas com defici?ncia visual e professores de programa??o, sem defici?ncia visual. Os resultados apontaram que a GoDonnie possui uma boa usabilidade, assim como auxilia o desenvolvimento de O&M.

A group of these athletes, even with the sports practice, remains hampered by oralization inability and lack of communication by other means. Based on Cultural Psychology of Bruner (1997), our goal is to investigate through the narrative of these subjects, considering the importance of being present in the world through communication and do this for yourself, to take the ideas of the fog of thought and outsource them, forming, by the need to organize them and make intelligible to the other, establishing dialogue. It is proposed adjustments in the narrative and subsequent analysis, considering the characteristics of the subjects: communication by translator or computer with adapted keyboard; expressions, sounds and gestures changed by disability; communication (typed) with emphasis on semantics and phonetics deficit (Transposing this oral characteristic for writing). Choice of pictures; and social network analysis of the subject. This made the role of the researcher was of paramount importance to establish links with the subjects, allowing dialogue (Trying NOT Make use of mediator). Aiming to know the life story of people accustomed to be interpreted and not heard and how it is built. It was noticed that the boccia adapted, different than the researcher believed, is not the salvation of a stagnant life, but it is primarily a bridge for socializing and recreation (in meetings before and after games , at time of eat , in travels) , and , second, the athlete's career , bringing his other identity (competitive, warrior , serious, focused). The narrative research allowed to show behind the scenes of research and allowed joint data collection methods have improved dialogue with the subject, showing a mature athlete, intelligent , not as independent as it is believed to be ideal , but as autonomous as possible. / A bocha paral?mpica ? um esporte desafiador para pessoas com defici?ncia com comprometimento motor nos quatro membros. Um grupo desses atletas, mesmo com a pr?tica esportiva, permanece prejudicado pela incapacidade de oraliza??o e falta de comunica??o por outros meios. Baseado na Psicologia Cultural de Bruner (1997) buscou-se investigar atrav?s da narrativa desses sujeitos, considerando a import?ncia de se fazer presente no mundo atrav?s da comunica??o e se fazer presente para si mesmo, ao retirar as ideias da neblina do pensamento e externaliz?-las, dando forma, pela necessidade de organiz?-las e se fazer intelig?vel ao outro, estabelecendo o di?logo. Prop?s-se alternativas na express?o narrativa e posterior an?lise, considerando as caracter?sticas dos sujeitos: comunica??o por tradutor ou computador com teclado adaptado; express?es, sons e gestos alterados pela defici?ncia; comunica??o (digitada) com ?nfase na sem?ntica e d?ficit na fon?tica (transpondo essa caracter?stica oral para a escrita); escolha de fotos; e an?lise da rede social do sujeito. Isso fez com que o papel do pesquisador fosse da maior import?ncia, ao estabelecer v?nculos com os sujeitos, possibilitando o di?logo (tentando n?o fazer uso de mediador), com objetivo de conhecer a hist?ria de vida de pessoas acostumadas a serem interpretadas e n?o ouvidas e como ela se constr?i. Conjecturou-se que a bocha adaptada, diferente do que o se acreditava, n?o ? a salva??o de uma vida estagnada, mas ela ?, primeiramente, uma ponte para a socializa??o e o lazer (nos encontros antes e depois dos jogos, na hora de se alimentar, nas viagens), e, em segundo lugar, a profiss?o do atleta, trazendo sua outra identidade (de competidor, guerreiro, s?rio, compenetrado). A pesquisa narrativa possibilitou mostrar os bastidores deste trabalho e permitiu articular m?todos de coleta de dados que melhoraram o di?logo entre pesquisador e sujeito pesquisado, mostrando um atleta maduro, inteligente, n?o t?o independente como acredita-se ser ideal, mas t?o aut?nomo quanto ? poss?vel.

A coleta de dados foi feita com o desenvolvimento de teste de usabilidade, observa??o participante e question?rio semiaberto. Para a an?lise quantitativa dos dados foi empregado o m?todo estat?stico; e para a an?lise qualitativa foi adotada a an?lise de conte?do. Para a converg?ncia dos resultados foi empregada a triangula??o dos dados para m?ltiplos instrumentos. A amostra investigada foi composta por oito usu?rios cadastrados no Reposit?rio de Informa??o Acess?vel, representando 25% dessa popula??o. Quanto ? caracteriza??o dos participantes, a an?lise evidenciou o seguinte perfil: mulheres (50%), entre 31 e 40 anos, tr?s com baixa vis?o e uma com cegueira, sendo tr?s na gradua??o e uma na p?s-gradua??o; homens (50%), entre 34 e 53 anos, todos com cegueira, sendo dois na gradua??o e dois na p?s-gradua??o. Os resultados revelaram pontos necess?rios de mudan?as na interface do reposit?rio. Identifica??o de pontos de entraves para as fun??es: legendas descritivas e tamanho inadequado de bot?es e ?cones, como bot?es de contraste, mapa do site e bot?es iniciar e encerrar sess?o; n?o funcionalidade do mapa do site e atalhos, bem como inexist?ncia de uma fun??o retorno. Verificou-se ainda que, independentemente dos entraves, os participantes aplicaram outras medidas para concluir os testes. Considera-se que devido ?s constantes mudan?as das tecnologias e poss?veis demandas dos usu?rios reais e potenciais do reposit?rio, ser?o necess?rias novas avalia??es, no futuro, para confirmar a qualidade do servi?o. / This research aims to evaluate the ergonomic requirements of usability and accessibility present in the Accessible Information Repository interface, based on the opinion of users with low vision and blindness. The implementation of this overall goal was given by the following specific objectives: a) check functionality of buttons and links in the Accessible Information Repository interface of Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, b) identify obstacles and inconsistencies in the interface usability and accessibility, c) know the points liable to improvements in the Accessible Information Repository interface that contribute with subsidies to the elaboration of intervention proposal to be held at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte. The research is characterized as exploratory, descriptive and applied, using the methodological strategy of case study, based on a quantitative and qualitative approach. Data collection was made with the development of usability testing, participant observation and semi-open questionnaire. For quantitative analysis of the data was used the statistical method; and for the qualitative analysis was used content analysis. For the convergence of the results it used the triangulation of data for multiple instruments. The sample studied was composed of eight registered users in the Accessible Information Repository, representing 25 % of this population. As for the characterization of the participants, the analysis showed the following profile: women (50%), between 31 and 40 years, three with low vision and one with blindness, being three undergraduate and one a graduate student; men (50%), between 34 and 53 years, all with blindness, two undergraduate and two graduate students. The results showed points with necessity of changes in the interface repository. Identification of points of obstacles to the functions: descriptive captions and inadequate size of buttons and icons, such as contrast buttons, site map and start and end session buttons; lack of functionality in the map of the site and shortcuts, as well as lack of a return function. It was also found that regardless of obstacles, participants applied other measures to complete the tests. As for the registration recommendations, we highlight the need for descriptive caption, increase of icons size, activation of inactive links, implementation of new features and periodic technical evaluation. The survey also proved that the participants conceived the identification of inconsistencies and suggestions for improvements as enhancement factor for the interface, confirming that the condition of the site at the time of the test was considered acceptable. It is considered that due to constant changes in technologies and possible demands of the actual and potential users of the repository, it will be required new evaluations in the future to confirm the quality of service.
