The questions of the research are as follow: How is it that the pentecostalism has historically spread up in Brazil? What are its causes and results? How the Catholic Church s word is placed toward the advance of the pentecostalism? What sort of interpretation we should give to the Church s thinkings, that try to reflect on the problem, specially in what is refered its attitudes concerning to dialogue and religious pluralism? The main hypothesis shows the Catholic Church in Brazil s concern to pentecostal growing, that produces strategics reactions, the recognition of the religious pluralism as well, and the seeking for dialogue, as the documents s contents expose in all theirs levels. The Church s thoughts are ambivalents: now an exclusivistic eclesiocentrism mark, than an inclusivistic cristocentrism position, or pluralistic teocentrism. The Church s praxis, mediated by discourses, change according to these positions. In the first chapter we work on the history of pentecostalism evolution by through several informations from census, different research sources, wich show the exodus of catholics to pentecostalism. In the second chapter we study some a few documents of the Church with its defensive discourse, of dialogue and the perplexity in front of religious pluralism and the advance of pentecostalism, the dialogue s trials with both evangelic and pentecostal people. In the third chapter we try to make clear the Church s position before the advance of pentecostalism, wich flows into the recognition of the religious pluralism and the necessity of dialogue. To interpret the discourses s position of the theology before religious pluralism we took in account three theological patterns: the exclusivist, the inclusivist and the pluralist. These are three paradigms with theological nature that let us to the knowledge of the Church s thoughts, in three levels: the Vatican, the CELAM and the CNBB, that aim at the pentecostalism s advance and place the problem on how to face this challenge , through dialogue with the creeds s diversity / Este trabalho tem como objeto de estudo e pesquisa analisar o avanço do pentecostalismo e a reação dos discursos consignados nos documentos da Igreja em três fontes: o Vaticano, o CELAM e a CNBB, visando os que têm maior preocupação com essa conjuntura e a conseqüente busca de diálogo frente ao pluralismo religioso da atualidade. As questões da pesquisa são as seguintes: Como historicamente o pentecostalismo se desenvolveu no Brasil, suas causas e efeitos? Como o discurso da Igreja Católica se posiciona frente ao avanço do pentecostalismo? Que interpretação podemos dar aos discursos da Igreja, que buscam refletir o problema, em especial no que tange as suas posturas relativas ao diálogo e ao pluralismo religioso? A hipótese central mostra a preocupação da Igreja Católica no Brasil com a expansão pentecostal, que produz estratégias reativas, assim como o reconhecimento do pluralismo religioso e a busca do diálogo, como revelam os discursos dos documentos em seus vários níveis. Os discursos são ambivalentes: ora têm um caráter exclusivista eclesiocêntrico, ora uma postura inclusivista cristocêntrica, ou pluralista teocêntrica. As práticas eclesiais, mediadas pelos discursos, variam de acordo com essas posturas. No primeiro capítulo trabalhamos a historia do desenvolvimento pentecostal contidos nos diversos dados dos censos e nas diferentes fontes de pesquisa, que mostram o êxodo de católicos para o pentecostalismo. No segundo capitulo estudamos alguns documentos da Igreja com o seu discurso defensivo, de diálogo e de perplexidade perante o pluralismo religioso e o avanço do pentecostalismo, as tentativas de diálogo com o mundo evangélico e pentecostal. No terceiro capítulo: explicamos as posições da Igreja diante do avanço do pentecostalismo, que desembocam no reconhecimento do pluralismo religioso e na necessidade do diálogo. Recorremos a três modelos teológicos, que interpretam a postura dos discursos da Teologia frente ao pluralismo religioso: o exclusivista, o inclusivista e o pluralista. São três paradigmas de índole teológica que dão conta do conhecimento dos discursos da Igreja Católica, em três níveis: o Vaticano, o CELAM e a CNBB, que visam o avanço pentecostal e colocam o problema de como enfrentar esse desafio, mediante o diálogo com a diversidade de crenças

Este trabalho de pesquisa tem como objetivo analisar os desafios e perspectivas do diálogo inter-religioso a partir das inovações propostas pelo Concílio Vaticano II, como também seus desdobramentos em vários documentos no período pós conciliar, particularmente na Instrução Diálogo e Anúncio. Ante a insuficiência da postura do Magistério eclesial na abordagem da questão, das controvérsias suscitadas nas diversas esferas da instituição eclesial, a teologia do pluralismo religioso de Jacques Dupuis poderá situar melhor o problema, ao propor que as religiões sejam incluídas no projeto salvífico de Deus para toda a humanidade, reconhecendoas como caminhos ordinários de salvação. A atitude da Igreja em relação às religiões não cristãs tem sido marcada pela ambiguidade, rompendo, assim, com as orientações pastorais emanadas do Concílio que exorta os cristãos a descobrir os valores positivos destas tradições religiosas. Neste sentido, a Declaração Dominus Iesus, abrirá uma verdadeira cruzada contra os teólogos adeptos do pluralismo, a fim de impedir o avanço deste novo paradigma para a teologia, favorecendo um discurso com tendências exclusivistas que não consegue dialogar com o mundo moderno, plural e secularizado.

What does motivate them and which are the effects in their lives? Departing from a humanistic and spiritual messages exchange group experience, we will deal with some aspects regarding to this Internet phenomenon. In order to focus sociability through network, we will employ Cyberspace, Cyberculture and Collective Intelligence concepts. The propagation of faith will be made through Mystic and Sacred optic. Transdisciplinarity will work as support for interreligious dialogue that becomes, by itself, evident. And, at least, we will analyze therapeutic effects, through a kind of human knowledge, denominated Logotherapy. / Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo entender o porquê de tantas pessoas se utilizarem do e-mail para divulgar mensagens de atitude positiva, valores positivos, otimismo, sabedoria, espiritualidade e sentido da vida. O que as motivam e quais são os efeitos em suas vidas? Partindo da experiência de um grupo de troca de mensagens humanísticas e espirituais, abordaremos alguns aspectos sobre esse fenômeno da Internet. Para o enfoque da sociabilidade em rede, utilizaremos os conceitos de Ciberespaço, Cibercultura e Inteligência Coletiva. A propagação da fé terá uma ótica da Mística e do Sagrado. A Transdisciplinaridade servirá de suporte para o diálogo inter-religioso que se evidencia. E analisaremos os efeitos terapêuticos através de uma forma de conhecimento humano denominado Logoterapia.

It analyzes the understanding of interreligious dialogue, recognizing and respecting the diversity of cultures and religious traditions, valuing the right to difference that provides friendly coexistence of people of different creeds and customs. This dialogue can be seen as a challenge which depends on real disposition of openness, supported in respect and attention to all creeds, breaking down barriers of intolerance. To do so, it demonstrates the need to understand the other's being as a place of freedom and expression. / Esta dissertação de mestrado tem como objetivo abordar o dinamismo do acolhimento humano e da escuta do outro como pressupostos necessários para a existência do diálogo inter-religioso, apresentando suas relações, conceitos, desdobramentos e limitações. Analisa a compreensão do diálogo inter-religioso, reconhecendo e respeitando a diversidade de culturas e tradições religiosas, valorizando o direito a diferença que proporciona a coexistência amigável de pessoas de diferentes credos e costumes. Esse diálogo pode ser visto como um desafio por depender de uma disposição real de abertura, apoiado no respeito e na atenção a todos os credos, rompendo barreiras de intolerâncias. Para tanto, demonstra a necessidade da compreensão do ser do outro, como lugar de liberdade e expressão.

O campo da comunicação pública no Brasil transita em uma área sombreada. Os canais de radiodifusão públicos são confundidos com aparelhos de governo e operam como tal. A criação da EBC foi uma tentativa de inflexão nessa tradição. O que a diferenciou de outros sistemas públicos foi a decisão de colocar a gestão de seus conteúdos na mão da sociedade civil, por meio de um Conselho Curador, formado em sua maioria por representantes desta. Essa pesquisa estudou como se concretizou esse processo de representação da sociedade na EBC por meio da análise de um caso debatido no âmbito desse Conselho: a disputa pela diversidade religiosa grade de programação nas emissoras da EBC, em particular a TV Brasil. A pesquisa concentrou-se no período de 2009 a 2013, quando foram analisadas notas taquigráficas, mensagens do público que integra a audiência, documentos oficiais e entrevistas de profundidade com telespectadores. Com isso foram analisados os diferentes pontos de vistas sobre o processo que recomendou a suspensão da programação religiosa das emissoras da EBC e depois o recuo a essa decisão. A decisão, tomada pelo Conselho, apesar de ser afinada com a sociedade civil organizada e minorias, o isolou de outras instâncias de poder: o legislativo, o judiciário, o executivo e as instituições religiosas e, especialmente, gerou um processo que levaria a exclusão de um público majoritário das emissoras. A decisão fragiliza o Conselho enquanto instância de representação e revela o descolamento deste em relação às demandas da sociedade. O que coloca uma questão fundamental para a discussão da comunicação pública: o quanto o público que deveria ser objeto da comunicação pública vem sendo desprezado? / The field of public communication in Brazil transits in a shadowy area. The public radio-broadcasting channels are mistaken by govenrment devices and are handled as so. The EBC creation was an attempt of breaking this tradition. What made it differ from other public sistems was the decision of placing the control of its contentes in the hand of the civil society, by a Curator Board, composed mainly by its own representatives. This research studied how the process of the society being representated in EBC took place by means of the analysis of a case discussed in the scope of that Council: the dispute about the religious diversity, scheduling the EBC station, in particular TV Brasil. The study focused between the years 2009 to 2013, when shorthand notes were reviewed, as well as messages sent from the people taken place in the audience, oficial documents and in-depth interviews with viewers. Thus it was possible to go through the different points of view about the case in which recommended the suspension of the religious progamming in the EBC broadcasting stations and then the withdrawing of the decision. The determination, taken by the Council, although being lined up with the organized civil society and minorities, isolated itself of other political power levels: the legislative, the judiciary, the excutive and religious institutions, and specially, resulted in a process in which would exclude a vast majority of the public from the transmitter. The decision weakens the Council while representative body and reveals its displacement in relationship to the societys demand. Therefore, a fundamental question is put into discussion concerning public communication: how much should the public who is object of the public communication has been despised?

A pesquisa procura relacionar conversão pessoal, trânsito e remanejamento religioso entre estes integrantes dos dois grupos juvenis com a idéia de mercado e pluralismo religioso na atualidade. O trabalho também quer pensar as diferentes formas que estes grupos institucionais de uma denominação neopentecostal possuem de se relacionar com o seu grupo, com a sua religião e sua igreja no dia a dia. Por último, a partir de suas experiências religiosas e vivências da cidade, quer analisar de que maneiras estes "CMFs" e "PAs" pensam, criam e recriam suas práticas cotidianas, sobretudo suas práticas de consumo, seushábitos, lazer e projetos de vida, inseridos neste contexto urbano específico e nesta forma de religiosidade.

In the first chapter we will introduce the present situation of religious education, especially in its important historical moments, the relationship with the secular state and the position of the Permanent National Forum of Religious Education (FONAPER). In the second chapter we analyze the Brazilian religious plurality taking into account the elements of the Brazilian religious map, relating it to data from the last census of IBGE, with the intention of knowing the Brazilian religious framework and the plural context in which religious education is inserted. In the last chapter we will discuss a proposal of a religious education as ‘a space of dialogue’ between different religions, making use of the foundational elements of the theology of religious pluralism and interreligious dialogue. The practice of religious education as ‘a space of dialogue’ is brought forward as the option that enables tolerance among religious groups represented in the school environment. / Com a presente dissertação buscamos apresentar o diálogo inter-religioso, a partir do pluralismo religioso brasileiro, como desafio para a discussão sobre o ensino religioso em escolas públicas no Brasil, enquanto Estado laico, possibilitando a superação da intolerância e do exclusivismo religiosos. Para isso, no primeiro capítulo apresentaremos a situação do ensino religioso, com destaque para momentos históricos, sua relação com a laicidade do Estado e a experiência do Fórum Nacional Permanente do Ensino Religioso (FONAPER). No segundo capítulo analisaremos a pluralidade religiosa brasileira a partir elementos formadores do mapa religioso brasileiro, relacionando com os dados dos últimos censos do IBGE, com a intenção de conhecer o quadro religioso brasileiro e o contexto plural no qual o ensino religioso está inserido. No último capítulo discutiremos a proposta de um ensino religioso como espaço de diálogo entre as diferentes religiões, utilizando para isso alguns elementos da teologia do pluralismo religioso e do diálogo inter-religioso como fundamentos. A prática do ensino religioso enquanto espaço de diálogo é possível e possibilita a tolerância entre os grupos religiosos que estão representados no ambiente escolar.

The study was based on a specific Protestant religious group, with the objective of investigating the hypothesis that there exists a tension between the use of choral music and new musical tendencies represented by bands. The methodology used is that of field research which evaluated the musical reality of specific Baptist Churches in Campinas. Based on the results obtained, concrete actions for pastoral practice are suggested. The first chapter proposes a conceptual and historical perspective of choral music, evaluating its function before the Reformation, and after the new musical mentality developed by Luther. The second chapter discusses the specific research realized in six Baptist Churches. This research describes the musical preferences of the members of these communities through a comparative study of the data obtained based on two poles: choral music and bands. These poles represent the larger context of Tradition and Contemporary. Bon the research presented, the third chapter offers a critical perspective regarding aspects of tradition, acceptance of new tendencies, and the tension developed between these distinct musical styles. In the face of this conflicting relationship, the research presents the challenge to pastoral practice of seeking a peaceful resolution of this musical relationship, considering the insertion of contemporary and traditional elements in Baptist liturgy. / Nesta pesquisa desenvolvemos um estudo focado na convivência conflituosa entre a música tradicional e a música contemporânea. Foi desenvolvida em um grupo religioso protestante específico, intuindo investigar a hipótese de que há uma tensão entre a prática do Canto Coral e as novas tendências musicais representadas pelas Bandas. Como procedimento metodológico utilizamos uma pesquisa de campo que avaliou a realidade musical em algumas Igrejas Batistas de Campinas. A partir dos resultados obtidos sugerimos ações concretas à práxis pastoral. O primeiro capítulo propõe uma retrospectiva conceitual e histórica do Canto Coral, avaliando sua função antes e depois do processo da reforma e da nova mentalidade musical desenvolvida por Lutero. O segundo capítulo mostra o desenvolvimento da pesquisa realizada junto a seis Igrejas Batistas. Tenta mensurar o gosto musical dos membros dessas comunidades através de um estudo comparativo a partir dos dois pólos: Canto Coral e Banda, ambos, sendo o específico de um campo maior: Tradição e Contemporâneo. O terceiro capítulo, partindo dos impulsos obtidos, desenvolve uma visão crítica sobre os aspectos da tradição, da aceitação à novas tendências, e da tensão propriamente desenvolvida na convivência entre estilos musicais distintos. Mediante tal realidade conflituosa, apresentamos um desafio à práxis pastoral no sentido de se obter possibilidades para uma convivência musical pacífica, considerando a inserção de elementos da contemporaneidade e da tradição na liturgia Batista.

O Encontro para a Nova Consciência ocorre em Campina Grande (Paraíba Nordeste do Brasil), desde 1992, durante o período de carnaval, tornando-se palco de um atrativo e intrigante acontecimento, não tão facilmente visto em outras partes do mundo, atualmente. Ao observarmos as particularidades marcantes desta experiência religiosa, em tamanha diversidade, somos capazes de caracterizá-lo como sendo um fenômeno religioso pós-moderno. Estudando os elementos relevantes que se observam neste Movimento, a partir das contribuições de teóricos contemporâneos que refletem sobre o fenômeno religioso, buscaremos apresentar esta experiência como um espaço significativo da vivência religiosa dentro da cultura pós-moderna. Se a secularização e pluralismo religioso conferem indicações sobre o comportamento religioso na Modernidade, as características do Encontro para a Nova Consciência, marcados pela subjetividade que confere identidades flutuantes, permitem-nos apreciar indícios de uma religiosidade que se configura na Pós-modernidade / The Convention for New Conscience occurs, during carnival period, in Campina Grande City (Paraíba - Brazil Northeast), since 1992, having become an attractive and intriguing event field, event that cannot be, currently, seen, found, easely, anywhere in the world. As we can observe this religious experience remarkable particularities, in such a great diversity, we are, therefore, enable to characterize it i.e. the abovementioned event as a kind, a sort of postmodern religious phenomenon. Studying the outstanding elements that are observed in this Movement, departing from the contemporaneous theorical contributions that reflect on the religious phenomenon, we will seek to present this experience as a religious liveliness meaningful space, within postmodern culture. If secularization and religious pluralism bestow some indications upon religious comportment in Modernity, the Convention for New Conscience characteristics, marked by the subjectivity that brings forth floating identities, they the event characteristics allow us evaluating a certain religiosity signs that take a plain shape in Post-modernity

A presente dissertação tem como objetivo geral detectar e analisar a construção de uma nova identidade psicossocial e ético-religiosa feminina, através da vivência e das representações que a universitária católica recifense faz sobre as orientações do magistério da Igreja Católica concernentes à mulher diante os desafios do mundo contemporâneo. O trabalho visa resgatar as principais orientações da Igreja sobre mulher depois do Concílio Vaticano II, levantar dados sobre a realidade da mulher brasileira nos campos de corporeidade, sexualidade e saúde reprodutiva e confrontar o magistério da Igreja com a espiritualidade vivenciada pela mulher ante os desafios que enfrenta hoje. A hermenêutica de gênero é usada como instrumento de interpretação na análise do magistério da Igreja e dos resultados da pesquisa. As duas instituições de ensino superior (IES) de orientação religiosa católica, a Universidade Católica de Pernambuco (CATÒLICA) e a Faculdade Frassinetti de Recife (FAFIRE), participantes da pesquisa de campo, colaboraram na verificação, junto às suas alunas católicas, da construção da sua identidade psicossocial e ético-religiosa e da vivência da sua espiritualidade feminina. Como parte da metodologia, foi realizada uma pesquisa de campo com a aplicação de um questionário fechado de 31 questões a uma amostra aleatória de um total de 178 universitárias, das duas IES. Houve análises quantitativa e qualitativa de dados, com a proposta de posterior transferência de resultados às IES e outras instituições/conselhos interessados no tema. Os resultados demonstram os elementos constitutivos da nova identidade da universitária católica recifense nos aspectos psicológico, social, ético-religioso e cultural no enfrentamento de desafios contemporâneos diante do Magistério da Igreja Católica podem contribuir para estimular a reflexão sobre possíveis estratégias integradoras da vivência da nova identidade psicossocial e ético-religiosa feminina na mesma. / The principal objective of this dissertation is to detect and analyse the construction of a new psicological, social and ethicalreligious identity of the female catholic university student in Recife. By means of her life style and conceptual representations, she evidences a confrontation between the Catholic Churchs magistery and the challenges she faces in todays world. This academic work proposes to indicate the Catholic Churchs principal orientations about women elaborated since Vatican Council II, to identify problemas faced by women referring to corporality, sexuality and reproductive health and to confront the Churchs teachings with the living spirituality of the women as they face challenges in the modern world. Gender hermeneutics is used as the interpretative instrument of analysis of the Churchs magistery and the results of the reseach. A characterization of the two Institutions of Superior Education, the Catholic University of Pernambuco (CATÒLICA) and the Frassinetti College of Recife (FAFIRE), where the survey was conducted, has been elaborated, as well as the verification of the catholic female students construction of their new psychological, social and ethical-religious identity, and the day by day living of their feminine spirituality. The methodology of the research involves a field survey of 178 catholic women, from the two educational institutions, by means of a questionnaire with 31 closed questions. The conclusions are a result of quantitative and qualitative analyses, which will later be socialized with the educational institutions and other institutions and councils interested in this theme. The results of the research are the identification of the psycological, social, ethical, religious and cultural elements constituting the new identity of the female catholic university student in Recife as she faces contemporary challenges in her relation with the Catholic Church magistery. It is hoped that these results will contribute to a reflection about possible integrative educational and pastoral strategies to help catholic women live their new identity in this complex world.
