The world of work has changed dramatically in the last decade and constant change has become the new normality. Employees are affected by possible re-organisation, retrenchments and downsizing which affects their behaviours and attitudes at work. Leaders have the responsibility of leading their followers through these difficult times to the best of their ability. A positive leader is seen as someone who recognises and focuses on the strengths and accomplishments of his or her employees. When a leader is positive and has a positive leadership approach, it may influence their followers’ feelings of psychological empowerment, work engagement and satisfaction with life. The objective of this study was to investigate the relationship between positive leadership, psychological empowerment, work engagement and satisfaction with life of employees in a chemical industry. A cross-sectional survey design was used with a convenience sample (n = 322). The measuring instruments used were the Positive Leadership Measure, the Measuring Empowerment Questionnaire, the Work Engagement Scale and the Satisfaction with Life Scale. Confirmatory factor analysis was used to test whether the measures of the constructs were consistent with the understanding of the nature of the constructs and to test whether the data fitted the hypothesised measurement model. Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) was used to examine the structural relationships between the constructs. The results show that there are statistically significant relationships between positive leadership, psychological empowerment, work engagement and satisfaction with life. Positive leadership has an indirect effect on work engagement and satisfaction with life via psychological empowerment. The implication of the results is that the work related aspects of positive leadership, psychological empowerment and work engagement has a positive effect on the non-work related aspect of satisfaction with life. 本研究旨在瞭解桃園市公立國民中學教師知覺校長正向領導與學校創新經營效能之現況,分析不同個人背景變項及學校環境背景變項的桃園市公立國民中學教師對校長正向領導與學校創新經營效能知覺的差異情形,並探討校長正向領導與學校創新經營效能之間的關係及國中校長正向領導對學校創新經營效能的預測力。 本研究主要採問卷調查法,問卷內容包含「國民中學校長正向領導量表」及「學校創新經營效能量表」,分層隨機抽樣,將學校規模分為大型學校、中型學校、小型學校三類共抽取36所學校,以桃園市公立國民中學教師為施測之母群體,按比例分配抽樣人數,共發出748份問卷,將調查所得資料整理後,獲得有效問卷711份,編碼建檔並以IBM SPSS Statistics 21 中文版進行統計分析,分別採描述統計、獨立樣本t考驗、單因子變異數分析、皮爾遜積差相關及逐步多元迴歸分析等相關統計方法進行資料處理,得出研究結果與歸納結論如下: 一、桃園市國民中學教師知覺校長正向領導現況達到中高程度。 二、桃園市國民中學教師知覺學校創新經營效能現況達到中高程度。 三、桃園市國民中學教師以男性、兼任主任、學校歷史30年以下或 61年以上、學校位於北桃園之背景變項教師對於校長正向領導的 知覺程度較高。 四、桃園市國民中學教師以男性、兼任主任、學校規模49班〈含〉 以上、學校位於北桃園之背景變項教師對於學校創新經營效能的 知覺程度較高。 五、桃園市國民中學校長正向領導與學校創新經營效能為中高度正相 關 六、校長正向領導對學校創新經營效能具有預測力 最後,根據研究結論,提出相關建議,希冀對教育行政主管機關、國中校長、國中教師及後續研究者有所助益。 / The study aimed to investigate the status of public junior high school principals’ positive leadership and effectiveness of school innovation management in Taoyuan City , furthermore, to analyze the differences of perceptions from different background teachers about principals’ positive leadership and effectiveness of school innovation management, and to investigated the predictability of principals’ positive leadership towards effectiveness of school innovation management while this study also examined the relationship among these two variables. The study will first develop the theory and research frame, and then design the research through reviewing literature. The researching tool includes " principals’ positive leadership questionnaire" and " effectiveness of school innovation management questionnaire". The study method,questionnaire survey, used stratified sampling method to sample 36 junior high schools of 748 teachers for the subjects.Totally,711 questionnaires was effective .Survey data,through IBM SPSS Statistics 21,were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, one way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression. The conclusions are summarized as follows: 1.Currently, in Taoyuan City, the perception of public junior high school teachers towards principals’ positive leadership was above average. 2. Currently, in Taoyuan City, the perception of public junior high school teachers towards effectiveness of school innovation management was above average. 3. The perception of public junior high school teachers towards principals’ positive leadership varied due to gender, current position , school history, school location,the difference was significant. 4. The perception of public junior high school teachers towards effectiveness of school innovation management varied due to gender, current position , school location, the difference was significant. 5. Principals’ positive leadership was positively correlated to effectiveness of school innovation management. 6. The predicted relations between principals’ positive leadership and effectiveness of school innovation management were supported. This study made concrete suggestions to educational authorities, junior high school principals, teachers and future related studies based on the findings and results.

本研究旨在調查宜蘭縣國民中學校長正向領導與教師組織公民行為之現況並探究背景因素差異以及二者間之關係。 本研究採問卷調查法,以宜蘭縣公立國民中學教師為調查研究對象,以自編之「宜蘭縣國民中學校長正向領導與教師組織公民行為調查問卷」為工具進行問卷調查研究,正式問卷總計發出452份,回收有效樣本共410份,回收及有效率90.10%。 問卷回收後,以敘述統計、獨立樣本t考驗、單因子變異數分析、典型相關及多元迴歸等統計方法進行分析。研究結果與歸納結論如下: 一、宜蘭縣國民中學校長正向領導呈現中高度知覺,以正向溝通得分最高,正向意義得分最低。 二、宜蘭縣國民中學教師組織公民行為呈現中高度知覺,以組織公民表現得分最高;人際公民表現得分最低。 三、男性;年齡較長;最高學歷為專科及大學畢業;兼任主任;學校規模37班以上;學校位於一般地區之背景變項教師對校長正向領導的知覺程度較高。 四、男性;年齡較長;最高學歷為專科及大學畢業;服務年資較長;兼任主任及擔任專任教師;學校規模37班以上;學校位於一般地區之背景變項教師在教師組織公民行為方面的知覺程度較高。 五、宜蘭縣國民中學校長正向領導與教師組織公民行為之間具有顯著的高度正相關,依序以正向關係、正向溝通及正向氣氛對人際公民表現最具有影響力。 六、宜蘭縣國民中學校長正向領導以正向溝通對教師組織公民行為之預測力最高;正向關係及正向意義次之。 根據以上結論提出相關建議,作為教育行政機關、國民中學校長與教師及未來研究之參考。 / The study aimed to investigate the status of public junior high school principals’ positive leadership (PL) and teachers’ organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) in Yilan County, furthermore, to analyze the differences of perceptions from different background teachers about PL, and OCB, and to explore the relationship among the two variables. Questionnaire survey method was adopted, the populations are teachers of public junior high schools in Yilan County, the samples include 24 schools and 452 questionnaires were distributed. There were 410 valid questionnaires used finally in the statistic analysis, and effective response rate is 91.10%. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, canonical correlation, and multiple regression. The conclusions are as follows: 1.The perception about PL from public junior high school teachers in Yilan County is mid-high level. The perception about positive communication was the highest and the lowest was positive meaning. 2.The perception about OCB from public junior high school teachers in Yilan County is mid-high level. The perception about OCBO was the highest and the lowest was OCBI. 3.The male, elder, university graduate, serving longer, department directors, from 37 or more classes schools and from schools in general areas teachers had higher perceptions about PL. 4.The male, elder, university graduate, department directors, full-time teachers, from 37 or more classes schools and from schools in general areas teachers had higher perceptions about OCB. 5.There were significantly high positive correlations between PL and OBC in Yilan County. Positive relationship, positive communication and positive climate were the most influential in OCBI. 6.Positive communication of junior high school principals’ positive leadership in Yilan County had the highest predictive effect on teachers’ organizational citizenship behavior, and both positive relationship and meaning second. Relative suggestions were provided as a reference to educational administration authorities, junior high school principals, teachers and researchers engaged in future related research.

The research has been done with the method of questionnaire survey in order to unveil the current situation of principals’ positive leadership and teacher’s professional learning community. This study also analyzed the differences of perceptions to principals’ positive leadership and teacher’s professional learning community which possessed by teachers with different background and investigated the predictability of principals’ positive leadership towards teacher’s professional learning community while this study also examined the relationship among these two variables. Questionnaire "elementary school principals’ positive leadership and teacher’s professional learning community relationship questionnaire" was used as a researching tool in the implementation of questionnaire survey. Survey data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, one way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression. The findings are as follows: 1. The perception of elementary teachers towards principals’ positive leadership and teacher’s professional learning community performance was above average. 2. The perception of elementary teachers towards principals’ positive leadership varied due to genders ,ages, working seniorities, current position ,the difference was significant. 3. The perception of elementary teachers towards teacher’s professional learning community varied due to genders, ages, working seniorities, diplomas, the difference was not significant. 4. In the environment variables, the different size of school, teachers perceived difference in principals’ positive leadership and teacher’s professional learning community. 5. Principals’ positive leadership was positively correlated to teacher’s professional learning community. 6. The predicted relations between principals’ positive leadership and teacher’s professional learning community were supported.This study made concrete suggestions to educational authorities, elementary school principal, teacher, and future related studies based on the findings and results.

本研究旨在瞭解臺北市國民中學校長正向領導、教師幸福感與教師組織承諾關係之現況,分析不同背景變項之教師在知覺校長正向領導、教師幸福感與教師組織承諾關係之差異情形,並探討三者之間的關係及影響,最後藉由校長正向領導與教師幸福感對教師組織承諾進行預測。 本研究採調查研究法,研究對象為臺北市國民中學教師,共計發出611份問卷,回收487份有效問卷,問卷有效率達80.0%。資料處理分別以描述性統計、獨立樣本t檢定、單因子變異數分析、皮爾遜積差相關及多元逐步迴歸分析等統計方式進行統計分析。 本研究獲致以下之結論: 一、臺北市國民中學教師對校長正向領導、教師幸福感與教師組織承諾的知覺程度皆屬於中高程度。 二、以校長正向領導、教師幸福感與教師組織承諾三變項而言,年齡與擔任職務皆是重要影響因素,皆已51歲以上與擔任主任或組長職務之教師知覺程度較高。 三、臺北市國民中學校長正向領導、教師幸福感與教師組織承諾的整體及各分層面,彼此之間具有正相關的關係。 四、臺北市國民中學校長正向領導與教師幸福感對教師組織承諾具有預測作用,以「校長正向領導」的預測力最佳。 最後依據研究結果與結論,提出具體建議,以供教育行政機關、學校校長與教師以及未來研究參考。 / The purpose of this study was to investigate the current development of principal’s positive leadership, teachers’ well-being and teachers’ organizational commitment in junior high schools in Taipei City, and to analyze the difference between teachers of different background variables, and to explore the relationship among the three variables. This study has aimed to predict teachers’ organizational commitment through principal’s positive leadership and teachers’ well-being. Through the use of questionnaire survey method, data were collected teacher from junior high schools in Taipei City, distributing 611 questionnaires in total. Valid questionnaires of 487 were collected, with a usable rate of 80.0%. All data were analyzed by the methods of descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and multiple regression. The conclusions of this study are as follows: 1. Junior high school teachers’ perception of principal’s positive leadership, teachers’ well-being, teachers’ organizational commitment is above average 2. There are significant differences in the junior high school teachers’ perception of principal’s positive leadership, , teachers’ well-being, teachers’ organizational commitment in terms of age, and position. 3. There is a positive correlation among the principal’s positive leadership, teachers’ well-being, and teachers’ organizational commitment. 4. Principal’s positive leadership and teachers’ well-being have a predictive effect on teachers’ organizational commitment.

Questionnaire survey is adopted and personal background questionnaire, principal’s positive leadership questionnaire, work stress questionnaire and sense of well-being questionnaire are included. The questionnaires were distributed to 329 administrative teachers in Yilan County junior high schools, and 325 valid questionnaires were retrieved, with 100% of availability. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson Product-Moment Correlation and multiple stepwise regression analysis. The results of the study are as follows: 1. The overall degree of principal’s positive leadership among administrative teachers in Yilan County junior high schools was above the average. 2. The overall degree of work stress among administrative teachers in Yilan County junior high schools was at the average level. 3. The overall degree of sense of well-being among administrative teachers in Yilan County junior high schools was above the average. 4. The variables of personal background of administrative teachers in Yilan County junior high schools do influence the degree of their feeling of principal’s positive leadership, work stress and sense of well-being. 5. There are differences among administrative teachers’ awareness of principal’s positive leadership, work stress and sense of well-being. 6. Principal’s positive leadership and work stress perceived by administrative teachers in Yilan County junior high schools are predictive of perceived sense of well-being. Finally, based on the results, the study provided related suggestions to the educational and school authorities, school administrative teachers, and future researchers. 校長正向領導與學校組織學習是影響教師創新教學的重要因素。本研究旨在了解高級中學校長正向領導、學校組織學習與教師創新教學的現況及差異情形,並探討上述三者的相關情形。 本研究方法為文獻分析與問卷調查法。研究對象為新北市、桃園縣、新竹縣、苗栗縣、新竹市之97所高級中學教師,有效樣本共855份。問卷回收後分別以敘述統計、獨立樣本t考驗、單因子變異數分析、積差相關、逐步多元迴歸等統計方法進行分析。根據研究結果將結論分析歸納如下: 一、高級中學教師對校長正向領導之現況知覺良好。 二、高級中學教師對學校組織學習之現況知覺良好。 三、高級中學教師對教師創新教學之現況知覺良好。 四、校長正向領導與學校組織學習間具有顯著正相關。 五、校長正向領導與教師創新教學間具有顯著正相關。 六、學校組織學習與教師創新教學間具有顯著正相關。 七、校長正向領導與學校組織學習對於教師創新教學有正向預測力。 本研究根據以上結論,提出幾點建議提供教育行政單位、高級中學校長、教師與未來相關研究作參考。 關鍵字: 校長正向領導、學校組織學習、教師創新教學 / Principals’ positive leadership and school organizational learning are the important factors of innovative teaching of teachers. This study aims to investigate the current situations and circumstances of senior high school principals’ positive leadership, school organizational learning and innovative teaching of teachers. The purpose of this study is to understand the current situation and the relationships among the positive leadership of principals, school organizational learning and innovative teaching of teachers. The research methods included literature review and questionnaire survey. The subjects of the survey were teachers in 97 senior high schools across New Taipei City, Taoyuan County, Hsinchu County, Miaoli County and Hsinchu City. The study issued a total of 855 valid questionnaires. The data was analyzed by factor analysis, reliability analysis, descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson Product-moment correlation, multiple regression analysis. The findings based on the results of the research are as follows: 1. The perception of the senior high school teachers toward the principals’ implement positive leadership is good. 2. The perception of the senior high school teachers toward school organizational learning is good. 3. The perception of the senior high school teachers toward the innovative teaching of teachers is good. 4. There is a significant positive correlation between the senior high school principals’ positive leadership and school organizational learning. 5. There is a significant positive correlation between the senior high school principals’ positive leadership and innovative teaching of teachers. 6. There is a significant positive correlation between the senior high school organizational learning and innovative teaching of teachers. 7. The senior high school principals’ positive leadership and school organizational learning have positive direct effect on the innovative teaching of teachers. According to the research findings, some suggestions are proposed for the reference of education administrative units, senior high school principals and teachers, and research staff engaged in future related researches. 本研究旨在瞭解北北基地區國民小學教師知覺校長正向領導與教師組織承諾的現況,並分析教師人口變項、學校環境變項在校長正向領導以及教師組織承諾的差異情形,最後探討校長正向領導與教師組織承諾之關係。 本研究以問卷調查法為主,所稱「國民小學」校長,僅包括公立(含 國立與縣市立)國民小學,不含私立小學。問卷調查法以自編「北北基地區國民小學校長正向領導與教師組織承諾關係之調查問卷」(內含基本資料、校長正向領導量表與教師組織承諾量表)為工具,對北北基地區國民小學進行問卷調查。問卷以國小教師為調查對象,計調查 78 所學校,發出問卷836 份,回收 764 份,有效問卷 744 份,回收有效率89.00%。調查所得資料分別以描述性統計、t 考驗、單因子變異數分析、Pearson 積差相關、多元逐步迴歸分析等統計方法實施資料分析,據以進行研究結果的分析與討論。 研究主要發現如下: 一、 目前北北基地區國小校長在整體正向領導與教師在整體組織承諾方面表現均屬中上程度。 二、在教師人口變項中,不同性別、服務年資與現任職務之教師知覺校長正向領導具有顯著差異。其中以男性教師、服務年資較深以及兼任主任教師知覺校長正向領導程度較高。 三、在教師人口變項中,不同性別、年齡、服務年資與現任職務之教師知覺教師組織承諾具有顯著差異。其中以男性教師、年齡較長、服務年資較深以及兼任主任教師知覺教師組織承諾程度較高。 四、在教師人口變項中,不同年齡、學歷之教師知覺校長正向領導沒有顯著差異。不同學歷之教師知覺教師組織承諾沒有顯著差異。 五、在學校環境變項中,不同學校規模及學校位置之教師知覺校長正向領導具有顯著差異存在。其中以學校班級數12班(含)以下學校規模較小及學校位置位居偏遠地區之學校教師知覺校長正向領導程度較高。 六、在學校環境變項中,不同學校歷史之教師知覺校長正向領導沒有顯著差異。不同學校歷史、學校規模及不同學校位置之教師知覺教師組織承諾沒有顯著差異。 七、校長正向領導不論整體或是各層面都與教師組織承諾整體或各層面具有顯著正相關。 八、整體而言,校長正向領導對於教師組織承諾具有預測力。 最後依據研究結果與結論,提出具體建議,以作為教育行政機關、學校校長、教師以及未來研究之參考。 / This study aims to probe into elementary school teachers’ perceived principals’ positive leadership and teachers’ organizational commitment in Taipei City, New Taipei City, and Keelung , and analyze the difference of teachers’ demographic variables and schools’ environment variables on principals’ positive leadership and teachers’ organizational commitment. Finally, this study explores the relationship between principals’ positive leadership and teachers’ organizational commitment. This study conducted questionnaire surveys on public elementary schools only (national and municipal and schools of counties), while excluding private school. The research tool was self-designed “Questionnaire on relationship between principals’ positive leadership and teachers’ organizational commitment in elementary schools in Taipei City, New Taipei City, and Keelung ”, which covers basic information, scale of principals’ positive leadership and scale of teachers’ organizational commitment. The surveys were conducted in 78 schools, and a total of 836 questionnaires were distributed to elementary school teachers. Among the 764 retrieved samples, there were 744 valid samples, with a valid return rate of 89.00%. Data analyses included descriptive statistics, t test, One-Way ANOVA, Pearson’s product-moment correlation and multiple stepwise regression analysis. The research findings are as follows: 1. Currently, in Taipei City, New Taipei City, and Keelung , elementary school principals’ overall positive leadership and teachers’overall organizational commitment are medium to high. 2. As to teachers’ demographic variables, perception of teachers of different genders, working years and current posts on principals’ positive leadership are significantly different. Male teachers, teachers with longer working years, and teachers as directors highly perceive principals’ positive leadership. 3. As to teachers’ demographic variables, perception of teachers of different genders, ages, working years and current posts on teachers’ organizational commitment are significantly different. Male teachers, older teachers, teachers with longer working years and teachers as directors highly perceive teachers’ organizational commitment. 4. As to teachers’ demographic variables, perception of teachers of different ages and educational levels on principals’ positive leadership are not significantly different. Perception of teachers of different educational levels on teachers’ organizational commitment is not significantly different. 5. As to schools’ environment variables, perception of teachers of different school scales and locations on principals’ positive leadership is significantly different. Teachers from schools with less than (including) 12 classes and remote locations highly perceive principals’ positive leadership. 6. As to schools’ environment variables, perception of teachers of different schools backgrounds on principals’ positive leadership is not significantly different. Perception of teachers with different school backgrounds, school scales and locations on teachers’ organizational commitment is insignificantly different. 7. Overall principals’ positive leadership or the related dimensions are significantly and positively related to overall teachers’ organizational commitment or the dimensions. 8. Generally speaking, principals’ positive leadership can predict teachers’ organizational commitment. According to research findings and conclusions, this study proposes the suggestions as references for educational authority, school principals, teachers and future researchers.
