Genom 2000-talets teknologiska framåtskridande finns förhoppningen om att en dag kunna skapa ett artificiellt medvetande, ett objekt med förmågan att tänka på att den tänker och med en egen fri vilja. Om eller när detta blir verklighet ställs frågorna vad exakt det är som människan har skapat och hur vi ska förhålla oss till det skapade. Dessa frågor ligger till grund för vad denna uppsats, genom ett innehållsanalytiskt tillvägagångssätt, undersöker, med syftet att analysera hur gestaltningen på film av artificiell intelligens (A.I.) kan förstås i relation till en kristen mytologi. Utifrån filmmanusen till The Imitation Game (2014) och Blade Runner 2049 (2017) analyseras de filmiska representationerna av A.I. med ett teologiskt avbildsbegrepp som dialogiskt förstoringsglas. Uppsatsen finner att fiktionen i detta sammanhang lyfter fram att strävan efter att skapa A.I. som avbild pekar på ett mänskligt sökande efter både närhet och kärlek.

The graduation theses are focused on reconstruction of the small hydro-electric power station Harta. Design of detailed runner blading based on the parameters of the given location is part of the reconstruction. Model of the duplex Francis turbine for cast manufacturing is result of the graduation theses. Numerical description of the model was carried out using SolidWorks software.

The aim of this work was to develop a proposal regarding hydro-energy potential of small flows of water through the city „Hovězí near Vsetín“. The available water energy was used for running a Swirl Turbine featuring a siphon arrangement. This new concept makes use of a modified Kaplan Turbine, operating at small water heads. It operates also at higher revolutions and has higher discharge.

This master‘s thesis deals with small water power plant Beneš. The first part of the thesis tries to find causes of low efficiency of this power plant. The second part contains suggestions of construction changes for increasing of efficiency – design of new runner blades and basic parameters of new distributor.

This master thesis deals with design of injection moulding technology for plastic holder of carbon brushes made of polycarbonate labelled Lexan 945A. The injection is performed into injection mould with hot runner system. Initially there is general study related to plastics and injection moulding technology. Further the study continues with injection moulds with hot runners and ends with computer analysis of injection moulding process. The designed injection mould for production of plastic holders is three-plate, double cavity mould with four hot nozzles and one parting plane, where one of the plates serves for mounting of the hot runner system inside the mould. This work contains part of the drawing documentation and item list of the injection mould. The selected injection moulding machine is Arburg Allrounder 370 U labelled 700-290 according to EUROMAP.

Master’s thesis deals with selection of a proper technology for manufacturing of chosen plastic part. The beginning of thesis contains part survey. Plastic injection was chosen as the most suitable manufacturing technology. Required theoretical knowledge for plastic injection mould designing were extracted in the recherche. Individual chapters deals with plastics, their manufacturing and plastic injection technology with all required knowledge about this technology, machines and moulds. Designing chapter contains every required calculation for mould design and all individual sections of mould design and injection machine selection. Injection simulations and their evaluations are part of this thesis aswell. Assembly and forms drawings as well as other documents used during thesis processing are included in the attachments.

This thesis describes a design of an injection mould for plastic part "Sleeve", that is intended for guiding of sliding door hardware. The part is manufactured from PE-HD, production quantity is 3 000 000 pcs annually. Based on calculations and review of specialized literature the design utilizes hot runners of MH system by Ewicon. The tool is assembled from normalized components by Hasco and an injection press BOY22D was suggested for parts production. Total costs for production of 1 part are 0,26 CZK.

The aim of this diploma thesis is design of a horizontal frame for torque transfer. The work is focused on the modification of the current solution in order to improve the characteristics of the horizontal frame to enhance its rigidity and safety.

Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka hur filmfotografen Roger Deakins komponerar och ljussätter bilder för att skapa djup och trovärdighet i ett tvådimensionellt medium. Teori kring förmedlande av djup, form, textur samt separation används i en analys av utvalda bilder från filmen Blade Runner 2049 (2017). Teorin kopplas samman med begrepp inom bildkomposition och ljussättning för att skapa en förståelse kring hur Deakins åstadkommit resultaten. I analysen etableras en användning av materia i luften (dimma, rök, regn), kameraplacering gentemot huvudljus, ett välkomnande av skuggor samt ett förhållningssätt till kompositionella regler.
