No. of bitstreams: 1 77039.pdf: 1325268 bytes, checksum: 1584a05292e9b147c701e78faa29be98 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2007-08-21 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / This research describes the introduction of a clean based company-nurturing knowledgebased enterprise within regional companies and the aim is to foster to implemententrepreneur initiatives, to stimulate changes on technological, economical and socialenvironmental paradigm, as well as to stimulate organization management changes focused on the Local Productive Arrangement LPA at the North Plateau of Santa Catarina State.Successful case studies are highlighted from the literature consolidated in the Santa Catarina State, in Brazil, as well as Internationally. These studies help understand the differences of scenarios towards the regional reality. For this end, visits, preliminary and awareness meetings were carried out with the entrepreneur and academic community aiming to answer expectations gathered from a market research report. The implementation of this company-nurturing enterprise differs from others because: (i) it is scientifically based; (ii) it supports clean base companies and technologies; (iii) it has a alternating management counsel, and; (iv) the implementation had happened in the fastest period of time (i.e. oneyear). During this period of time three companies were nurtured with regional focus, which signal for possible changes in the technological and social-economical regional paradigm.Thus, challenges in the implementation of clean based company-nurturing knowledge-basedenterprise are shown, allowing its goals to be effectively achieved by the proposed model.These results fill up a significant gap in the literature concerning implementation models for clean based company-nurturing knowledge-based enterprise / Esta pesquisa descreve a implantação de uma incubadora de conhecimentos de base limpa de abrangência regional e objetiva contribuir para implementar iniciativas empreendedoras, potencializar demandas por mudanças de paradigma tecnológico, econômico, sustentabilidade sócio-ambiental e de gestão das organizações, foco no Arranjo Produtivo Local - APL do planalto norte do Estado de Santa Catarina. Destacam-se casos de sucesso na literatura internacional e consolidados no Brasil, como no Estado de Santa Catarina, a partir dos quais busca-se compreender as diferenças em relação à realidade regional. Nesse sentido, realizaram-se visitas, reuniões preparatórias e de sensibilização com a comunidade empresarial e acadêmica, visando atender aos anseios expressos em relatório de pesquisa de opinião. A implantação dessa incubadora de conhecimentos de base limpa, diferencia-se das demais, por estar pautada numa base cientifica; apoiar empreendimentos e tecnologias de base limpa; ter um conselho gestor rotativo; a implantação ter acontecido no menor prazo conhecido - um ano - período no qual três empresas foram incubadas e porque o foco de abrangência é regional, o que visualiza a possibilidade de mudar o paradigma tecnológico e sócio-econômico regional. Assim sendo, expõe-se desafios na implantação de uma Incubadora de conhecimentos de base limpa, permitindo que seus objetivos sejam efetivamente atingidos pelo modelo proposto. O resultado do estudo supre de forma significativa uma lacuna bibliográfica no que tange a modelos de implantação de Incubadoras de conhecimentos de base limpa.

É nesse contexto que o presente trabalho analisa a obra do escravo mestre pintor setecentista, partindo de uma visão geral da Ordem Beneditina, limitando, gradativamente, o assunto até chegar à obra do artista, sem, no entanto, esquecer seu contexto vital, que é a espiritualidade beneditina vivida na Congregação Beneditina do Brasil. Não obstante registros históricos da atuação de Antônio Teles na policromia de 16 esculturas em madeira, executadas por outros artistas ao longo do século XVIII, para a ornamentação da Igreja Abacial de Nossa Senhora do Monserrate do Rio de Janeiro, a presente pesquisa culmina com a análise iconográfica de dois desenhos a bico de pena, assinados pelo escravo mestre pintor. / Heir of Jewish culture, in which is the Word Revelation, Christian spirituality, not without hesitation, adopetd and developed images, as catechetic instruments. ln this context, this paper analyzes the work of eighteenth-century slave master painter, starting with an overview of the Benedictine Order, limiting, gradually, the matter until the artist's work, but without forgetting its context, which is spirituality Benedictine lived in the Benedictine Congregation of Brazil. Despite the historical record of the performance of Antonio Teles in 16 polychrome on wood sculptures, performed by other artists throughout the eighteenth century, for the ornamentation of Abbey Church Our Lady of Monserrate do Rio de Janeiro, this culminates with the iconographic analysis two pen design drawings, signed by the slave master painter.

The professional technician deals with the needs of the national, regional and/or local development, stimulated for the growth of the industry due to new demands from national and international market, which require better qualification and competence in the productive process. The following dissertation, using the exploratory research, shows the behavior of the wood industry in São Bento do Sul region, between 2000 to 2004, for a samplig made in ten wood companies, two big ones (more than a thousand employees in 2004), and eight medium-size companies (between one hundred to 499 employees in 2004). It is noticed the significant growth of the technical staff, formed by engineers, technologists, and high-school technicians when compared to the total of the employees in this period, as well as the relation between the growth of the technical staff and the relative growth of the total sales, according to the year of 2000. It is confirmed for the companies involved, according to the businesspeople, which certain points connected to the production such as process improvement, productivity, quality, cost reduction, change in the products, time reduction of set-up, are influenced by the professional technician. / No Brasil, em conseqüência do avanço tecnológico, tem-se percebido a importância da educação profissional e tecnológica como estratégia para o estabelecimento da cidadania e para a efetiva inserção de jovens trabalhadores na sociedade. O profissional técnico atende às necessidades dedesenvolvimento nacional, regional e/ou local, tendo por estímulo o crescimento da indústria em função das novas demandas oriundas dos mercados nacionais e internacionais, que exigem maior qualificação e competência no processo produtivo. A presente dissertação, utilizando a pesquisa exploratória, apresenta o comportamento da indústria moveleira da região de São Bento do Sul,no intervalo de 2000 a 2004, para uma amostra composta por 10 (dez) empresas moveleiras, sendo 2 (duas) grandes empresas - mais de 1000 (mil) funcionários em 2004 - e 8 (oito) médias empresas -entre 100 (cem) e 499 (quatrocentos e noventa e nove) funcionários em 2004. Observa-se o crescimento significativo do corpo técnico formado por engenheiros, tecnólogos e técnicos de nível médio quando comparados ao total de funcionários neste período, bem como a relação entre o crescimento do corpo técnico e o crescimento relativo do faturamento, tendo como base o ano 2000. Constata-se para as empresas pesquisadas, na percepção dos empresários, que determinados indicadores ligados à produção como melhoria nos processos, na produtividade, na qualidade, na redução de custos, na mudança nos produtos, na diminuição de tempo de set-up, são influenciados pelo profissional técnico

O objetivo deste é conhecer as dinâmicas dessa manifestação cultural como parte da memória coletiva, avaliar o seu significado para as populações urbana e rural desse contexto econômico e afetivo, compreendendo relações socioeconômicas no mesmo espaço em que ocorrem os mais diversos tipos de sociabilidades. A proposta se desenvolve com base nos contatos com os agentes sociais, feirantes, comerciantes fixos e móveis, entendendo-se por estes os ambulantes, habitantes do lugar ou não e demais freqüentadores desse ambiente composto de misturas em que tecem uma rede de relações mediante suas particularidades das cartografias físicas e humanas. Entre os moradores desse centro urbano somam-se os habitantes dos distritos da área litorânea e do sertão, inclusive turistas nacionais e internacionais. Em um ambiente de tradição, pode-se dizer que nele são reafirmadas as relações entre campo e cidade em meio às necessidades dos indivíduos pobres, excluídos do mercado de trabalho formal, haja vista a baixa oferta de empregos, ocasionando a busca por meios de sobrevivência, sendo a feira o local de encontro dessas categorias que se “conformam” pelas vias da solidariedade. / Le Présent travail tourne sur la Foire de Saint Bento dans la Ville de Cascavel à 60 km de Fortaleza-Ce, s'agir d'un marché à ciel ouvert qui traverse les temps avec des airs de fête pendant les matins de samedi. L'objectif de celui-ci est connaître les dynamiques de cette manifestation culturelle comme partie de la mémoire collective, évaluer sa signification pour les populations urbaine et agricole de ce contexte économique et affectif, en comprenant des relations socioeconômicas dans le même espace où se produisent les plus divers types de sociabilités. La proposition se développe sur base des contacts avec les agents sociaux, forains, commerçants agencements et meubles, en se comprenant par les ces ambulatoires, les habitants de la place ou non et excessivement que arrive suivent a cet environnement composé de mélanges ils où tissent un filet de relations moyennant leurs particularités des cartographies physiques et humaines. Entre les habitants de ce centre urbain s'ajoutent les habitants des districts du secteur littoral et de l'arrière-pays, de même touristes nationaux et internationaux. Dans un environnement de tradition, il se peut dire que dans lui sont réaffirmées les relations entre champ et ville dans moyen aux nécessités des personnes pauvres, exclus du marché de travaille formel, aie vu basse offre d'emplois, en causant la recherche par des moyens de survie, en étant la foire le lieu de rencontre de ces catégories qui « se conforment » par les manières de la solidarité.

A propósito do valor histórico e da importância da Biblioteca do Mosteiro de São Bento de São Paulo pela conservação de um singular patrimônio bibliográfico, pretendemos compreender fragmentos de sua história a partir da bibliografia histórica e da cultura monástica entre livros, leituras e bibliotecas. Para tanto, a pesquisa se desenvolveu em três linhas de investigação: a primeira, a análise de obras e de documentos que nos permitiram resgatar aspectos históricos e culturais que proporcionaram a formação da Biblioteca- Livraria no contexto do monaquismo beneditino; a segunda, o estudo da bibliografia histórica e da cultura monástica de livros e de leitores em uma perspectiva de longa duração e dialética com a Biblioteca-Livraria e a sua Coleção de Livros Antigos; e a terceira, a elaboração do Catálogo da Coleção de Livros Antigos da Biblioteca-Livraria do Mosteiro e a identificação de alguns de seus objetos bibliográficos, assim como dos princípios de organização destes. A partir do estudo realizado, entendemos que entre os monges beneditinos sempre houve diversos sinais de uma reflexão e orientação profunda a respeito de bibliotecas e de livros e que a própria Biblioteca-Livraria é reflexo da mentalidade beneditina e emblema mesmo da instituição monástica, de modo que os aspectos espirituais, históricos e culturais do monaquismo beneditino constituem elementos configuradores das etapas de formação de sua identidade bibliográfica e informacional. / Concerning the historical significance of the Library of Saint Benedicts Monastery of São Paulo in its conservation of a unique bibliographical heritage we intend to understand fragments of its history. Our approach is from a point of view of the historical bibliography and the monastic culture found in books, readings and libraries. Within that framework, the research was developed along three lines of investigation: the first one, the analysis of books and documents that allow us to rescue the cultural and historical aspects that provided for the formation of the Old Library in the context of Benedictine monasticism; the second, the study of the historical bibliography and the monastic culture of books and readers from a long term and dialectic perspective with the Old Library and its Old Books Collection; and the third, the elaboration of a Catalogue of the Old Books Collection of the Monasterys Old Library and the identification of some of its bibliographical objects, as well as the principles of their organization. We understand, from the research we conducted, that among the Benedictines there has always been various signs of reflection and profound orientation regarding libraries and books and that the Old Library itself is a consequence of the Benedictine mind-set and an emblem of the monastic institution, so that the spiritual, historical and cultural aspects of the Benedictine monasticism constitute elements of the phases of formation of its bibliographical and informational identity.

The Portuguese galleon, the São João, is one of the greatest enigmas in South African maritime history, not only because so little is known about its cargo, passengers and crew, but also because the location of the wreck has puzzled researchers from the early 20th century until the present. The aim of the Port Edward Project 2001-2003 was to assess both documentary and physical material pertaining to the wreck, to throw more light on the location of the wreck site and survivor camp because this ship is an important part of South Africa’s maritime history as it was the first cargo ship wrecked along the country’s coastline. Many researchers believe it was one of the most richly laden ships to have left India since it was discovered. To begin with all available sources containing reference to the São João and the events surrounding its wrecking were investigated. This established a historical archaeological standard for dating and identification of Portuguese shipwrecks along the South African coast. A chronological examination of the extent of documentary sources resulted in an archaeological underwater and land survey in the area where the greatest concentrations of artefacts are still found today. This geographic area was within a defined zone within the municipal area of Port Shepston. Investigations were limited to a stretch of coast and adjacent inland area between the town of Port Edward, more specifically Tragedy Hill, and the Kuboboyi River. The archaeological material investigated: includes: Chinese porcelain shards, cowrie shells, cornelian beads, pepper and cannons. To prevent reiterating previous investigator’s research a survey was conducted to determine what scientific research has been done on the archaeological material. The actual location of the campsite has not been indisputably determined. It became evident that some research has been done to identify this important site but always only up to a certain point where some uncertainty still remains. This uncertainty is the result of certain factors. Firstly, Tim Maggs only positively identified the wreck site in the early 1980’s. Secondly, great amounts of agricultural activity have been reported in the area and thirdly the survivors only camped for twelve days, which limits the possibility of finding any material. In order to assist in locating this elusive site, the descriptions and details of other Portuguese campsites were investigated. From this it was possible to construct a virtual picture of the survivor camp by comparing the survivor’s account and the known characteristics of Portuguese survivor camps with the artefacts found and geography of the Port Edward area. The chronological examination of documentary sources, the comparison of other Portuguese survivor campsites, the artefacts found in Port Edward and the geography of the area led to the following conclusions: it can be said with a reasonable amount of certainty that the site in Port Edward is that of the São João. A site which demonstrates Portuguese campsite characteristics, where great concentrations of pepper have been found, was identified. It has been established that the partnership with historical documentation and archaeology gives this project the option of taking the investigations further. The virtual scenario assists in reducing the possibilities and refining the focus as opposed to merely terminating the search. It is recommended that specialized equipment be used for future underwater research since the sea conditions are harsh and dangerous.
