No. of bitstreams: 1 DISSERTA??O MESTRADO NEUZA SANTOS DE JESUS - vers?o em PDF.pdf: 1783120 bytes, checksum: 82f09dd48cb5ef09234d960d913f8ea9 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2016-06-16 / The Family Health Strategy (FHS) in the context of the Unified Health System (SUS) is a tool to the reorganization of primary care in the country, covering the search for mechanisms to consolidate the work practices in meeting the demands social, contemplating the search for solving the individual and collective contexts. This aspect goes back to rethink health practices, for the purpose to serve as support available to users, to be able to serve you in full, respecting their economic, social and cultural reality. Thus, it is expected that such practices are summarize in search of a model of care that besides the biomedical aspects, articulate actions that integrate the habits, traditions and cultures of everyone and any old users, for example, of this population. For this reason, the bibliographical study of the research purpose to analyze the care production process in the FHS for the scope of solving the health care of indigenous peoples in Brazil based on a total of 14 (fourteen) scientific works published in the period from 2010 to 2014, on the basis of data from the Virtual Health Library and Portal CAPES. We used the method of content analysis for to explore these productions from nine units of meaning: Labor AIS Accessibility Work Process, Interculturalism, Home, Bonding, Completeness, Attention Model and Differentiated Attention. Once grouped, was made an empirical category ?Solvability Production and Care to the Indigenous in the FHS: the gap between official policy and practice. Because, despite the current National Health Policy of Indigenous Peoples in Brazil to be an important stimulus for development assistance practices to glimpse the importance of access and care production of integral to theses peoples, in practice still is imperceptible because the absence of services that enhance the indigenous culture, and consequently such qualified professionals to missing. Like this, does not exists dialogue and relationship between knowledges and practices academics and indigenous, showing the dislocation between the cultural diversity and the devaluation of exchange of experiences and knowledges between professionals and users, mainly because the difficulty in communication against of the diversity of the indigenous dialogues. For what the production of care provided to indigenous peoples has solvability depends on a maturing so much political how much operational in articulation of the health actions. This because professionals, users and families, and society itself, can be viewed as elements assets of the interactions established in the sense of favor the interaction between the users and the health services. Thus we will be promoted solvability of the demanded questions of the health care valuing the culture of indigenous peoples. This reality also requires the Health?s professionals a rethink about their training curricula in the sense of they can talk and learn the cultural diversity of the indigenous people.

A Dissection concept for DAEs

Jansen, Lennart 17 March 2015 (has links)
This thesis addresses differential-algebraic equations (DAEs). They play an important role in the modeling, simulation and optimization of networks and coupled problems in various applications. The main application in this thesis are coupled problems in electric circuit simulation. We discuss and extend existing results regarding the modeling and numerical simulation of DAEs. Furthermore, we investigate the global unique solvability and the sensitivity of solutions with respect to perturbations of DAEs. Nowadays the modeling of multi-physical applications is often realized by coupling systems of DAEs together with the help of additional coupling terms. This approach may yield high dimensional DAEs which cannot be simulated, due to instabilities, by standard numerical methods. Regarding these challenges we formulate three objectives: First we provide a global solvability theorem which can be applied to coupled systems to mathematically justify their coupling approach. Second we introduce numerical methods which are stable without needing any structural assumptions. Third we provide a way to apply explicit methods to coupled systems to be able to handle the size of the coupled systems by parallelizing the algorithms. To achieve these objectives, we need a decoupling procedure which fulfills the following three properties: The complexity of the decoupling procedure has to reflect the complexity of the DAE, i.e. the decoupling procedure should be state-independent if possible. The decoupling procedure should preserve properties like symmetry, monotonicity and positive definiteness. The decoupling procedure should be realized by a step-by-step approach with independent stages. Both the Tractability Index concept and the Strangeness Index concept do not provide such a decoupling procedure. For this reason we introduce a new index concept which provides such a decoupling procedure.

We study the group V (G) which is an extension of the non-abelian tensor square of a group G, G G. Looking for V (G) as an operator in the class of groups, we observe that this operator preserves some properties of the group G such as finiteness, nilpotency and solubility. For a p-group finite G we find an upper bound for the order of G G. Finally, we verified computationally, for some groups, and that the results and also the bounds for the orders of the groups shown here are actually respected. / Sejam G e Gj grupos isomorfos. Avaliação da satisfação do usuário com os serviços de Atenção Básica do Distrito de Saúde Sul da Secretaria Municipal de Saúde de Campinas/SP, no ano de 2011 / Evaluation of users satisfaction with primary care services in South District of health department in Campinas city - SP, in the year 2011

Jorge Luís Marques Fernandes 04 February 2013 (has links)
In this research, an evaluation of satisfaction of users with services of primary health care, belonging to the South Health District, in the city of Campinas, São Paulo, was carried out in the year 2011. This is a household inquiry with quantitative approach performed through a semi-structured questionnaire. The evaluation of satisfaction levels were developed through an angle of humanization of services, health system comprehensiveness, participation in decision making instances of the public health system, solvability potential of the services for health needs, activities of health promotion and oral health care. There was a high frequency in health services by users with absolute predominance of females and mean age of 48.7 years. It was found that the main reason for searching health services was the demand for medical consultations and medicines. The majority of users are satisfied with the health care received. The results demonstrate a high level of humanization of health services, ratified by the approval ratings of waiting time for appointments and examinations, the physical condition of the structures of the units, the approval of the reception attendants approach, by the hours of operation of the units, the humanitarian approach given to users and by means of information for them. There was a high rate of referrals to other levels of care, showing up poor solvability of the service. However, this research found structured and a good level of integration between primary care units and with upper care levels of the system. The results show that health promotion activities were very well evaluated by the population through integrative and complementary health practices, group activities and activities of health education. However, these actions are focused on a small portion of the population. The results of the research showed a disjointed and ineffective level of participation of the community in local health councils, being unable to perform its oversight role and proponent of public health policies. As a result of this research, it was found that oral health care was well evaluated by population. However, the study showed difficulty in access to dental consultations and that oral care was most provided through emergencies, indicating an accumulated great need for oral health. The study showed that oral health is rarely reported by other health professionals. Thus, oral health must be incorporated into the daily health teams and into ongoing assessment mechanisms in order to identify the facilities and difficulties to the good relationship between user and health care service, aiming a significant improvement of health care quality and consequently user satisfaction.

Homogenization of reaction-diffusion problems with nonlinear drift in thin structures

Raveendran, Vishnu January 2022 (has links)
We study the question of periodic homogenization of a variably scaled reaction-diffusion equation with non-linear drift of polynomial type. The non-linear drift was derived as hydrodynamic limit of a totally asymmetric simple exclusion process (TASEP) for a population of interacting particles crossing a domain with obstacle. We consider three different geometries: (i) Bounded domain crossed by a finitely thin flat composite layer; (ii) Bounded domain crossed by an infinitely thin flat composite layer; (iii) Unbounded composite domain.\end{itemize} For the thin layer cases, we consider our reaction-diffusion problem endowed with slow or moderate drift. Using energy-type estimates as well as concepts like thin-layer convergence and two-scale convergence, we derive homogenized evolution equations and the corresponding effective model parameters. Special attention is paid to the derivation of the effective transmission conditions across the separating limit interfaces. As a special scaling, the problem with large drift is treated separately for an unbounded composite domain. Because of the imposed large drift, this nonlinearity is expected to explode in the limit of a vanishing scaling parameter. To deal with this special case, we employ two-scale formal homogenization asymptotics with drift to derive the corresponding upscaled model equations as well as the structure of the effective transport tensors. Finally, we use Schauder's fixed point Theorem as well as monotonicity arguments to study the weak solvability of the upscaled model posed in the unbounded domain. This study wants to contribute with theoretical understanding needed when designing thin composite materials which are resistant to slow, moderate, and high velocity impacts. / We study the question of periodic homogenization of a variably scaled reaction-diffusion equation with non-linear drift of polynomial type.

Robitaille, Maurice Jr 08 1900 (has links)
The rise of new public management is "one of the most significant international trends in public administration" (Hood, 1991). The police services were not spared by this new type of administration (Dupont, 2003). It is in this context of accountability, entrepreneurial management, economic constraints, the search for effectiveness and efficiency that many studies on the evaluation and performance of the police have been carried out based on 1970s, particularly in relation to the prioritization of files and the factors favoring its resolution. This study is in line with this aim of evaluating criminal investigations, in particular the effectiveness and efficiency of the management of drug investigations and the factors favoring its success. The present study aims to meet three objectives. The first objective is to draw up a detailed portrait of the drug instigation files at the SPVM in 2018. The second objective is, in an exploratory manner, to test the transferability of the model of Kilfeather's instigation (2011) to the drug instigation at the SPVM in 2018. Finally, the third objective, directly related to police efficiency, is to identify the non-institutional and institutional factors that promote the success of the instigation. Descriptive analyzes were produced in order to meet the first two objectives and logistic and linear regressions were used to identify the factors favoring the success of the drug investigation in Montreal in 2018. Descriptive analysis of the 324 files drug investigation in Montreal in 2018 reveals a process similar to Kilfeather (2011) in which three elements are essential in this type of investigation, namely the use of a human source, the use of physical surveillance and drug seizure, during a search or by an undercover officer. The study's multivariate analyzes suggest that, for the three definitions of success of resolving, arresting and submitting a lawsuit, the three significant factors that promote success are the fact that the offense is committed on public roads, the fact that the suspect is traveling in a vehicle and the number of watches.
