The fusarium wilt is the major disease that attacks the pipericultura in Brazil and is caused by the fungus Fusarium solani f. sp. piperis (Nectria haematococca f. sp. piperis). Plant growth and root diseases are directly influenced by physical, chemical and biological soil environment, which are interconnected and form complex associations between them. The plant nutrition and a fertile soil with good physical characteristics influence all parts of the triangle of root diseases. New tools to investigate the variability and complexity of the interaction between the soil environment and pathogen are poorly studied, so the aim of this study was to research and implement methods of geostatistics to understand the distribution and spatial correlation of the intensity of Fusarium in black pepper crop with soil attributes. The experiment was conducted in the period from 2010 to 2011 in the North of Espírito Santo, Brazil. Geostatistics was used to study the spatial dependence and implanted a regular sampling grid of 12,000 m2. For the intensity of the disease was performed seven assessments, totaling 303 days, making the last evaluation soil samples for determinations chemistry, physics and texture. For the spatial correlation between disease severity with soil attributes, we used the analysis of variograms. The maps of the distribution of the disease over time show an initial focus on the edges of the crop, alongside a crop of older black pepper kingdom. The disease correlates spatially with the attributes fine sand ratio Mg / K, magnesium, pH, exchangeable acidity and base saturation / A pimenta-do-reino é uma das especiarias mais importantes e consumidas no mundo.

OS SENTIDOS ATRIBUÍDOS AOS JOGOS TRADICIONAIS A PARTIR DAS TRANSFORMAÇÕES DE SEUS ESPAÇOS E TEMPOS NO CONTEXTO DA COLONIZAÇÃO ITALIANA NO RS / THE MEANINGS ATTRIBUTED TO TRADITIONAL GAMES STARTING FROM THE TRANSFORMATION OF THEIR SPACE AND TIME IN THE CONTEXT OF ITALIAN COLONIZATION IN RS

Stein, Fernanda 27 February 2014 (has links)
Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / This is a study that has as its theme the traditional games, understood as cultural manifestations produced by humankind throughout history. We seek to investigate the traditional games in some societies in Rio Grande do Sul (RS) and the meanings attributed to them by social subjects who experienced the transformation of those spaces and times. Therefore, the research is characterized as a field and documental research, making use of in-depth interviews. We have covered two societies from São João do Polêsine, RS, i.e., the "Sociedade Agrícola Cultural Esportiva Polesinense" and the "Sociedade Agrícola Cultural Esportiva Vale Vêneto". These entities present themselves as living spaces for traditional games and have changed with the expansion of the capitalist system. We found that the transformations of space and time for traditional games modify their meanings, as these change those, in a dialectical relationship. To keep the meanings attributed to traditional games, the subjects resist against spatiotemporal transformations, with movement between conformity and resistance. The research aims to contribute to deepening the understanding of how the traditional game has been historically reconfigured.

Identité et altérité par écran : modalités de l’intersubjectivité en interaction numérique / Existing on screen : modalities of intersubjectivity in digital interaction

Ibnelkaïd, Samira 01 July 2016 (has links)
Though our research is firmly anchored within the field of linguistics, it constitutes an interdisciplinary approach as well, aiming to establish a dialogue between Interaction Analysis and Phenomenology. This research examines the complex notion of identity by defining it as a verbal, technical, and intersubjective phenomenon. The bodily, sensory, relational and social human existence is henceforth engaged in digital interaction devices inducing unprecedented modalities of intersubjectivity. Therefore, we propose to analyze the novel features of intersubjectivity involved in digital interactions. In the first part of our dissertation, the theoretical exploration, we seek to apprehend the nature of identity co-construction, the stakes of interindividual encounter understood as an intersubjective phenomenon, and the spatio-temporal characteristics of digital interactions. Firstly, through a phenomenological approach, we define the encounter as a meaningful event and we explore the phenomenotechnical properties of digital intersubjectivity. Secondly, through an interactionist approach, we focus on language and its role in identity co-construction, and more specifically on sequence organization and embodiment within physical and digital interactions. Thereafter, in the second part of our dissertation, those theorizations are submitted to a data analysis. This empirical exploration consists in studying online encounters between geographically distant participants. This study allows us to draw a topography of the spatio-temporal framework of phygital interaction, a typology of the acts of enacting existence on screen and a description of the ontological process of identity co-construction.

La mobilité spatiale locale : l'influence de la mobilité quotidienne sur la mobilité résidentielle : l'exemple des résidants actifs luxembourgeois / The local spatial mobility : the daily mobility influence on residential mobility process : the example of Luxemburg’s resident workers

Epstein, David 26 June 2013 (has links)
Mobility and housing are today at the centre of the urban development issues. Indeed, the raise of the motorization rate, combined with the increasing property market pressure, are leading to a disruption of proximity links and tend to generate transportation system saturation. Those difficulties affecting mobility gives tensions (increased travel time, risk of delay, etc.). The objective of this thesis was to study the weight of those tensions in the residential mobility process. A survey was conducted among 500 active’s Luxemburg residents. Those people have recently changed housing without having changed their workplace. Results show that some people get now closer to their workplace in order to reduce their daily mobility tensions. This research helped highlighting links between daily mobility and residential mobility conjunction and lead to a better understanding of the local spatial mobility system of individuals.

Aspects of duality in gravitational theories

Troessaert, Cédric 06 June 2011 (has links)

Performativité de l’être-en-ligne : pour une phénoménologie de la présence numérique / Performativity of on-ligne being : for a phenomenology of the digital presence

Cavallari, Giuseppe 06 November 2018 (has links)
Around the fundamental question of presence, I draw on interdisciplinary literature whose contributions from the fields of anthropology and social geography, theatre and cinema theory, performance studies, psychoanalysis and sociology are articulated from the perspective of phenomenology and information and communication sciences. Our way of inhabiting the world has changed: online-being is the new fundamental existential condition. Our space is a performative space, because it is produced through our actions, our gestures, eminently reflexive photographic gestures, which create our digital mise en scène. This space has become the space which links together all of our active and social spaces. Here, I single out live and recorded performativity, the performativity of do-ing, the performativity of algorithms and of questions, of emojis and of all that which “fait visage”. After a socio-semiotic analysis of digital gestures, screens, the graphics of social networks and presence protocols, I describe presence as always being a mediation effect. This mediation is at once disjunction and fiction, beacause it works as a difference and as the fiction of hypermediality. Presence exists where there is play (jeu) as in the french expression “il y a du jeu”, refering to space, and in its fictional sense of play-acting. As with Sartre's café waiter, we play act in order to create reality and consciousness through fiction.

CONTESTED DOMESTIC SPACES: ANNE LANDSMAN'S "THE DEVIL'S CHIMNEY"

Nudelman, Jill 15 November 2006 (has links)
Student Number : 7805464 - MA dissertation - School of SLLS - Faculty of Arts / This dissertation interrogates Anne Landsman’s The Devil’s Chimney. The novel is narrated by the poor-white alcoholic, Connie, who imagines a story about Beatrice, an English colonist living on a farm in the Little Karoo. Connie, who is a product of the apartheid era, interweaves her own story with that of Beatrice’s and, in this way, comes to terms with her own memories, her abusive husband and the new South Africa. Connie deploys the genre of magical realism to create a defamiliarised farm setting for Beatrice’s narrative. She thus challenges the stereotypes associated with the traditional plaasroman and its patriarchal codes. These codes are also subverted in Connie’s representation of Beatrice, who contests her identity as the authoritative Englishwoman, as constructed by colonial discourse. In addition, Beatrice’s black domestic, Nomsa, is given voice and agency: facilities denied to her counterparts in colonial and apartheid fiction. Nomsa’s relationship with Beatrice is also characterised by subversion as it blurs the boundaries between colonised and coloniser. In this regard, the text demands a postcolonial reading. Connie, in narrating Beatrice’s and Nomsa’s stories, reinvents their invisible lives and, by doing so, is able to rewrite herself. In this, she tentatively envisions a future for herself and also potentially ‘narrates’ the nation, thus contributing to the new national literature. The nation is inscribed in the Cango caves, whose spaces witness the seminal episodes in Beatrice’s narrative. In these events, the caves ‘write’ the female body and women’s sexuality and the text thus calls for an engagement with feminism. The caves also inscribe South African history, the Western literary canon, the imagination and Landsman’s own voice. Hence, the caves assume the characteristics of a palimpsest. This, together with the metafictive elements of the novel, invites an encounter with postmodernism.
