O objetivo da presente investigação é a análise das configurações do Atendimento Educacional Especializado (AEE) na Rede Municipal de Ensino de Gravataí/RS. Com a questão_ AEE: que “atendimento” é este?_ buscou-se compreender como o Atendimento Educacional Especializado (AEE) vem se configurando em um contexto local, com ênfase nas diretrizes políticas que caracterizam o serviço e na interpretação dos professores que atuam nas salas de recursos multifuncionais. As bases teóricas que constituem a investigação podem ser identificadas a partir do pensamento sistêmico expresso por autores como G. Bateson e H. Maturana, além da abordagem do Ciclo de Políticas formulada por S. Ball, R. Bowe e A. Gold. Como lócus da pesquisa foi considerado o contexto da Rede Municipal de Educação de Gravataí/RS, com especial atenção dirigida à formação continuada dos professores do AEE. A abordagem, de natureza qualitativa, utilizou como instrumentos de coleta de dados a observação participante e análise documental. As informações foram analisadas à luz do referencial teórico, observando a emergência de elementos que caracterizam as singularidades em relação ao objeto de estudo. Observou-se uma significativa ampliação da oferta do atendimento educacional especializado no ensino comum em período posterior a 2008, com sistematização desse atendimento em 29 salas de recursos na rede constituída por 76 unidades de ensino (sendo 65 de ensino fundamental). A análise mostrou que, apesar de uma sintonia com a macropolítica, fatores locais influenciaram a busca por alternativas e diferentes leituras em relação ao AEE no contexto da prática. A formação continuada dos professores constituiu-se em um contexto de influência, de circulação e produção de textos, cuja análise resultou nas configurações do AEE nesta rede de ensino. As evidências apontam para uma supervalorização dos professores do AEE identificada na ampliação de suas atribuições, que incluem a avaliação, identificação do aluno no Censo Escolar e a promoção de formação continuada na escola. / The purpose of this research is to analyze the Specialized Educational Attendance (Atendimento Educacional Especializado - AEE) in the Municipal Teaching Network of Gravatai/RS. The second section will discuss the practical side. Selected law office will be subjected to analysis. The results will assess the level of the learning organization, which the law office reaches. Innovations of bike sharing industry in China : A case study of Mobike’s station-less bike sharing system

Through over forty-five years of development, bike sharing is not a fangle in Europe. But it becomes a popular topic in China in recent two years. The Chinese startups exert IoT technologies and GPS modular in shared bikes and launched the world’s first station-less bike sharing system. This new bike sharing system gains in popularity and develops dramatically all across China. In addition, the leading bike sharing service providers such as Mobike, got over $300 million investment since the start of 2017, which caught the attention of the public. More and more venture capitalists want to touch this new tempting pie. This paper mainly focuses on investigating what are the roles of this new bike sharing system in urban mobility in China especially in Shanghai and its influences in the society. Meanwhile, the socio-technological innovations of the new bike sharing are explored together with the application of different theoretical frameworks, such as Porter’s Five Forces and system thinking. This paper also tempted to fill up the gap in the literature that describing the missing part of smart bike sharing business - using the station less bike sharing business model, involving a discussion of its pros and cons. In order to give more detailed insights about the new bike sharing industry, we choose the world’s first station-less bike sharing service company - Mobike, as our case study object to investigate the revolutionary bike sharing system in Chinese major cities, specifically in Shanghai - the representative megacity of China. Conclusions and future development suggestions are provided at the end of this paper so that the stakeholders could have some references for further development of bike sharing industry.

Assessing current state and potential direction of fossil-free hydrogen development in Sweden

Hydrogen is under the spotlight due to its ability to decarbonize the hard-to-abate sector. Sweden, which aims to achieve net zero emissions by 2025, has incorporated hydrogen as an instrument to reach a decarbonization pathway. The Swedish Energy Agency announced that the hydrogen target covers a 5 GW electrolyzer installation needing an enormous electricity supply of around 22-42 TWh in phase 1. However, generating fossil-free hydrogen on a large scale is relatively new in Sweden’s history. There is an urgency to identify the current state of production, distribution, storage, and application of fossil-free hydrogen in Sweden. Comprehending the potential direction using a system thinking approach is also mainly absent. Thus, the study aims to fill those knowledge gaps and provide insight into hydrogen’s current state and future direction. The thesis evaluates materials through the qualitative research design with quantitative data supplementation. The system thinking approach is implemented to investigate the leverage points that can influence the system. The findings showed that various actors had proposed a total of 3.85 GW of electrolyzer installation, implying that 17-32 TWh of electricity should be available. The projects are primarily used to meet industrial demand in the electrofuel, iron and steel, and refinery sectors. However, insufficient electricity supply and investment could inhibit growth. Storage and pipeline infrastructure development is also lagging. Those elements should be resolved to achieve the hydrogen target. The study suggested that reducing production costs, increasing government support, and pursuing disruptive technology will accelerate the transition to a fossil-free hydrogen society.

Designing sustainable innovations : Opportunities for new life cycles within the furniture industry

The Linear Economy cannot any longer be sustained by the eco-system: virgin resources are limited and destined to terminate soon if the contemporary production and consumption model will be maintained. For this reason, in the last few years Circular Economy has become an increasingly discussed topic worldwide. Through the adoption of strategies that close-the-loop of the traditional linear production system, Circular Economy aims to find solutions that can create a balance between economy, society and environment. This study aims to provide a holistic overview on the main theories and strategies that can ease a business transition to a Circular Economy model, to analyse challenges and opportunities connected to this conversion and to present a concrete tool developed for this purpose. The Life Cycle Design theory is here discussed and contextualised within the furniture industry reality since this study has been executed in collaboration with IKEA, the company case study of this thesis. An academic and professional literature review have been performed in order to gather information about theory and practice related to the implementation of strategies needed by a Circular Economy: product disassembly, recovery, reuse, refurbish, recycle and remanufacturing. The professional literature reviewed point out that the implementation of a circular model can lead to economic advantages and growth’s opportunities for manufacturers in various economic sectors. The implementation of Circular Economy in the furniture industry seems to be in its early stages and it mainly focus, with few exception, on recycling rather than on the more effective reuse, refurbish or remanufacturing operations. This study points out the two main issues that the furniture manufacturers need to solve in order to enable the implementation of more effective circular strategies: product disassembly and recovery. Furthermore, the need of an innovative and holistic approach is discussed with particular emphasis on the importance of a systemic thinking that enable organisation to create their own identity and objectives in relation to the Circular Economy model. The importance of a system that connects and coordinate the sustainable efforts and aims for new products and services is therefore highlighted, suggested and deeply considered in the development of the tool proposed. To conclude, a comparison between two IKEA products (the sofas Söderhamn and Knopparp) was performed to identify the role of the products’ design and development in relation with the implementation of a Circular Economy model. The products were briefly technically analysed and then a comparison between a linear and a circular end-of-life cycle scenario has been represented.

The Survival of Healthcare in Rural Texas

Over 80 rural hospitals have closed in the United States since 2010, representing about half of all hospital closures during this period, and another 600-700 rural hospitals are at risk of closing shortly. The purpose of this qualitative exploratory multiple case study, which was based on transformational leadership and diffusion of innovation theories, was to gain a common understanding of financial problems and operational inefficiencies that may be impacting rural hospital leaders in the state of Texas. Data collection involved semi-structured interviews with 4 senior healthcare leaders from 3 separate regions in Texas. Data analysis included compiling, sorting, fragmenting, and reassembling of the data into 19 common themes. The 4 most common themes included poor payer mix and uninsured population, inconsistency with evidence-based measures, costs of providing care exceeding reimbursement, and the movement of inpatient procedures to outpatient. The study findings may help advance the practice of leadership in both rural and urban healthcare. This study may contribute to positive social change by creating awareness of how rural hospitals are in danger of closures, and how these closures can affect urban hospitals and overall quality of life for rural Americans.
