Funkcionalita a problémy v psaní u žáků třetích tříd / Handwriting and problems at third grade

Kubín, Daniel January 2014 (has links)
Handwriting is an integral part of our culture and civilization. It is an important and indispensable skill that makes us a full-fledged member of society. When acquiring this skill particular problems can develop which need to be captured as soon as possible in order to ensure the fastest and most effective remedy. The presented work deals with a profound description of written expression in the third grade of primary school. It is based on the revised rating scale which was derived from the original scale created by A. Kucharská, and J. Veverková in 2011. Using this revised scale the degree of attachment and coping skills in writing for third grade students was captured and described. It was also investigated the area of reflection of the errors and the ways students dealt with them. Finally, based on last scale area the rate of fixing grammar and typing skills was observed. The analysis scrutinized dictations of 90 students from Prague, central and east region who was taught by the genetics and analyst-synthetic metod. In order to process the data the quantiative methods and multidimensional methods were used. The qualitative analysis was used as well with the purpose of supporting the particular issues. The data allowed us to determine the extent of the handwriting fixation, provided us with...

Implementace Třetího energetického balíčku do právního řádu České republiky / Implementation of the Third energy package into the legal order of the Czech Republic

Jančuška, Michal January 2012 (has links)
Implementation of the Third energy package into the legal order of the Czech Republic Summary This thesis discusses the implementation issue of the Third energy package, also known as the Third liberalization package, into the Czech national law. It consists of three regulations and two directives of the European Union, which determines the energy politics both on the European level and on the level of the member states. The first part of this thesis describes the ancestors of the Third energy package and their accomplishments or failures together with reasons for creating the next generations of liberalizing legislation. The author describes the liberalization in the form of the legal, functional and accounting unbundling separately for electricity and gas industry at the European level, and then the implementation at the level of the Czech legislation. In the next chapter it is further explained, what were the European legislator's incentives for creating the Third energy package, and what new institutes it stipulates. It is herein described that the European Union came with three different unbundling versions of the transmission system operators (TSO) - Ownership unbundling (OU), Independent system operator (ISO) and the Independent transmission operator (ITO). Requirements of all of the three variations...

La escritura de Juan José Saer : la tercera orilla del río / L'écriture de Juan José Saer : la troisième rive du fleuve

Brando, Oscar 18 November 2013 (has links)
My thesis is about "Juan José Saer's writing : the third shore of the river". I propose taking advantage of a regional space as a material and symbolic reality. Running my eyes over the litarary discourse of several Latin American writers of the 20th century, I analyse it as a territory in which various passages relate a psychic and imaginary space. In consequence, in Juan José Saer's (Santa Fe 1937-Paris 2005) literary work, I explored, supported by a bibliography of literary theory and criticism produced over his work, the following aspects : 1. The foundation of the "zone" and the "city", representations of territories of fiction. The hatch of a saga and development of characters and places. 2. The relationship between the construction of imaginary territories from other writers (Onetti, Faulkner) and Roberto Arlt's rabid city. 3. The "death of the author" in the most radical narrative experience of Saer's writing. The intersection of Argentine history, fiction stories and analysis of the violence in his short stories and novels. 5. The landscape of the area related, on one hand with the natural and mythical space and on the other hand with personal experience. 6. Linkages with the modern literary traditions : Borges, Joyce, the Nouveau Roman and Antonio di Benedetto.

Objem jehlanu / Volume of Pyramid

Vaňkát, Milan January 2016 (has links)
Title: Volume of Pyramid Author: Bc. Milan Vaňkát Department: Department of Mathematics Education Supervisor: Mgr. Zdeněk Halas, DiS., Ph.D. Abstract: The subject of this thesis is Hilbert's third problem. In the first chapter we follow it's roots back to Euclid's Elements. We focus in particular on the theorem that triangular pyramids of equal altitudes are to each other as their bases. We also discuss analogous statements for triangles, parallelograms and parallelepipeds. We point out the way in which the issues of content and volume of geometrical figures were approached in Greek mathematics. In the second chapter we present the historical background of Hilbert's third problem. We outline the development of methods of it's solution - from M. Dehn's first answer in 1901 to the abstract definition of Dehn invariants as a R ⊗Z Rπ- valued functional on the polyhedral group that was introduced by B. Jessen in 1968. Later we construct Dehn invariants and present a thorough solution to the Hilbert's third problem. In the end we sketch out mathematical issues connected to this problem that have been studied in the second half of 20th century. An illustrative high school exercise on derivation of the volume formula for py- ramid by Eudoxus's method of exhaustion is included in the appendix. Keywords: pyramid, volume,...

What is the value of a Health Verified Program.

Schumacher, Kash Tucker January 1900 (has links)
Master of Agribusiness / Department of Agricultural Economics / Ted C. Schroeder / The beef cattle industry is one of the last industries in production agriculture that is not heavily integrated. Therefore each segment of the industry is constantly looking for opportunities to increase the value of their cattle. In recent years, one of those opportunities available to cow-calf producers was verification of certain production practices (i.e. Age and Source, Natural, and Non-Hormone Treated). The value flows from the consumer to the cow-calf producer. The packers need these verified cattle to fill export contracts therefore they are willing to pay a premium for these types of cattle. The objective of the thesis was to determine the value of a Health Verified Program (HPV) to feedlot operators. HPV is not required to export beef like other verified programs, but it does verify the procedures that a group of calves has received from the previous owner. Since the feedlot is a deciding factor of value for HPV, feedlot managers were asked from across the United States not only what value they place on HPV but other questions that could be beneficial to others involved in the beef cattle industry. Regression models were used along with a correlation analysis to determine value. There is value to a health verified program along with other procedures that are available to cow-calf producers. Individual producers need to determine which verifications and procedures are economical and efficient for their individual operations with all factors considered.

Strength of concrete masonry units with plastic bottle cores

Wonderlich, Sean M. January 1900 (has links)
Master of Science / Department of Architectural Engineering and Construction Science / Kimberly Waggle Kramer and Bill Zhang / Concrete masonry units are a common method of construction in the world. Since the masonry units can be constructed with ease. Fifty billion water bottles are consumed every year. Lack of waste management and recycling in third world countries has come to the attention of many organizations. The use of plastic bottles in construction materials has been around for the past twenty years, but with little focus on using full plastic bottles in the materials. The Engineers Without Borders student group on the campus at Kansas State University have found a way to utilize the full 500-mL plastic bottle in the creation of concrete walls. The bottles laid horizontally with concrete on both sides and as mortar between the bottles was used. These bottles create large voids in the wall decreasing the compressive strength of the wall. This thesis presents the results of a study conducted to determine the compressive strength of concrete masonry units with plastic bottle cores. The plastic bottles were used to create the center voids in the masonry units. Concrete was placed around the bottles to encase them in the masonry units. The study utilized 500-mL plastic bottles from five different water companies placed inside masonry units of 7.87-inch wide by 8.26-inch high by 15.75-inch long (200-mm wide by 210-mm high by 400-mm long) in size and analyzed the resultant compressive strength. The testing for compressive strength was determined according to the ASTM C140 standard. Results from this study were deemed reasonable due to the testing of concrete cylinders as a control compressive strength. Determination of the compressive strength of the concrete masonry units allows for further study to continue in concrete masonry units with plastic bottle cores to determine if they are viable in third world countries.

Les négociations diplomatiques entre la France et le Saint-Siège de 1870-1939 / Diplomatic negotiations between France and the Holy See, 1870-1939

Virot, Audrey 23 March 2013 (has links)
Between 1870 and 1939, the diplomatic relations between the Holy See and France are obviously hectic. At that time, Roma is marked by the end of the papal State and the consequent loss of the temporal sovereignty for the Holy See in 1870, restored to the State of the Vatican City by the signature of the Lateran treaty in 1929. In France, the beginning of the Third Republic is characterized by an active anticlericalism, which shows a paroxysm at the beginning of the twentieth Century, with the suppression of the French embassy in the Holy See, and then the law of 1905. That cancels the Composition. With the First World War events, a link was made between France and Holy See, materialized in 1921 by the reestablishment of diplomatic relations. The existence of diplomatic relations between two states especially aims at creating a favorable framework to lead negotiations. During the Third Republic, there are numerous debate topics between the French and Papal governments. The legal character has been used as selection criteria for the affairs. The analysis of the negotiation modalities can demonstrate three distinct chronological phases, which depend on the combination of two criteria: the existence or not of official diplomatic relations and the legal bound – composition or separation - which is the backstory of these negotiations. To understand rightly the evolution of the negotiation modalities, we have to fix beforehand the French and Papal institution framework, decisive to turn the battle of wills in bargaining. When running this analysis, we can observe a rebalancing over time of the battle of wills between France and the Holy See and the inability to break completely the relations. The diversity of benefits to protect, in France, at Roma but also and, more widely, in the world, explains that despite strong oppositions, France and Holy See always find an agreement.
