The basis for the work at hand is a look at current and future societal challenges in living together in communities. Public Theology claims to offer an important contribution as far as the overcoming of societal issues is concerned. The aim of this research is to shed light on this theoretical claim by relating it to a practically applied project while asking the question how the existing challenges can be dealt with. It is explicitly about participatory structures and their advancement. Participation is considered a key element for functioning communities in society. The advancement of participation for young people contains an element of activation, support and care. This research investigates which access paths the young people chose for their participatory engagement, how these are designed and experienced, and finally, how these paths can be strengthened and developed. The response to these questions resulted in concrete courses of action for the research project STC-Bremen, and furthermore, in generalized interpretations which can aid the development of other fields of action. / Philosophy, Practical and Systematic Theology / M. [pt] Tem surgido, atualmente, uma literatura ateísta que procura rechaçar as religiões monoteístas, especialmente o cristianismo, por considerá-las como obstáculo à afirmação do ser humano e ao seu desenvolvimento. Esta literatura, ao seguir o legado do ateísmo humanista de Feuerbach e dos mestres da suspeita (Karl Marx, Friedrich Nietzsche e Sigmund Freud), pretende ser uma negação sistemática e militante da religião e do Deus Pessoal em nome de um suposto humanismo. Levando em conta esse fenômeno cultural, esta pesquisa doutoral procura estabelecer um diálogo respeitoso entre o cristianismo e o ateísmo. Ela, além de expor a crítica que o pensamento ateu, de ontem como o de hoje, elabora contra a fé cristã, acolhe essa crítica como interpelação ao cristianismo hodierno. Ademais, busca fundamentar, a partir da reflexão teológica de três autores contemporâneos (Andrés Torres Queiruga, Jon Sobrino e Carlos Domínguez Morano), a plausibilidade do cristianismo como afirmação do humano e como possibilidade de humanização dos homens e mulheres cristãos. Chega à conclusão de que a experiência cristã, resguardando fidelidade ao seu núcleo originário (Jesus de Nazaré), se apresenta como uma proposta e um caminho de humanização mais significativo que a proposta de humanismo do ateísmo. / [fr] Nous constatons qu´aujourd´hui apparaît une littérature athée qui cherche à s´opposer aux religions monothéistes, et tout spécialement au christianisme, en voulant démontrer qu´elles sont un obstacle à l´affirmation de l´être humain et à son développement. Cette littérature qui accompagne l´héritage de l´athéisme humaniste de Feuerbach et des maîtres du soupçon (Karl Marx, Friedrich Nietzsche et Sigmund Freud), prétend nier systématiquement et de façon militante la religion et un Dieu Personnel au nom d´un supposé humanisme. Prenant en compte ce phénomène culturel, cette thèse de doctorat cherche à établir un dialogue respectueux entre le christianisme et l´athéisme. Cette recherche, en plus d´exposer la critique que la pensée athée élabore, hier comme aujourd´hui, contre la foi chrétienne, elle accueille cette critique comme une interpellation au christianisme d´aujourd´hui. Elle cherche aussi à fonder, à partir de la réflexion théologique de trois auteurs contemporains (Andrés Torres Queiruga, Jon Sobrino e Carlos Domínguez Morano), la possibilitée pour le christianisme d´être une affirmation de l´humain et la possibilitée d´humanisation des chrétiens, hommes et femmes. Nous en arrivons à la concluson que l´expérience chrétienne, fidèle à son noyau originel (Jesus de Nazaré), se présente comme proposition et chemin d´humanisation bien plus significatif que la proposition humaniste de l´athéisme.

Abstracts in German and English / 1 online resource (232 leaves : illustrations, some color) / Diese Masterarbeit behandelt das Thema der Spiritualität in der theologischen Ausbildung. Ausgehend von der Behauptung, dass ein Theologiestudium nicht nur in einer Anhäufung von theologischem Wissen und Einüben von kirchlicher Praxis bestehen soll, wird einer aktiv gelebten, christlichen Spiritualität eine zentrale Bedeutung zugewiesen. Um festzustellen, was für eine Spiritualität während der theologischen Ausbildung förderlich ist, werden Interviews mit ehemaligen und aktiven Studierenden des Heilsarmee Bildungszentrums auf Hinweise untersucht, wie Spiritualität verstanden und gelebt wird und welche Erfahrungen und Bedürfnisse diesbezüglich vorherrschen. Die Analyse dieser empirischen Forschung zeigt, dass eine bereichernde Spiritualität während dem Studium nicht nur vom Willen und Engagement der Studierenden abhängt, sondern im Wesentlichen ebenso durch Werte, Programme und Strukturen der Ausbildungsstätte, sowie durch das Vorbild und die Beziehungsfähigkeit der Dozierenden geprägt wird. Die Einsichten der Untersuchung bieten Hinweise für ein Konzept der Spiritual Formation, welches am Heilsarmee Bildungszentrum eingeführt werden soll. / This master thesis is about spirituality in theological education. Assuming that theological studies should not only consist in accumulating theological knowledge and practical experience, the author claims an active Christian spirituality to be of vital importance for students. To be able to understand which factors stimulate the personal spirituality of students, a number of former and active students of the Salvation Army Training College are interviewed, in order to observe their experiences and identify their needs. The results of this empirical research show that an enriching spirituality not only depends on the students’ willpower and efforts, but mainly also on the values, the structure and the programme of the college, as well as the example of the academic staff and their ability to relate to the students. Moreover, the results of the research mark the starting point for a concept of Spiritual Formation which the Salvation Army Training College aims to establish. / Practical Theology / M. Th. Orientador: Antônio Mendes da Costa Braga / Resumo: Esta tese faz uma leitura dos elementos que constituem o novo “ethos” do neopentecostalismo brasileiro, a partir dos clérigos e leigos da Igreja Sara Nossa Terra no Distrito Federal (DF). Com base no método weberiano, a pesquisa se utilizou de observações participantes, entrevistas semiestruturadas, survey e análise de conteúdo para a compreensão dos fluxos e gestão da vivência religiosa dos membros da Sara Nossa Terra. Essa instituição se caracteriza como uma organização religiosa neopentecostal bem equipada tecnologicamente, com uma atuação missionária profissional e criativa. Seus serviços e produtos conseguem alcançar preferencialmente pessoas de classe média baixa e alta, em diversas faixas etárias. Se orienta a partir do modelo de “células”, tem uma performance eclesiástica diferenciada, demonstrando a partir de sua práxis a evidência do que denomino nessa tese como “Teologia de Gestão” (TG). Essa teologia é caracterizada como um tipo funcional de discurso sobre a fé e prosperidade financeira. Por meio de uma releitura bíblica que associa o legalismo religioso do Antigo Testamento com a confissão positiva, agrega elementos do sincretismo religioso, princípios de coaching e empreendedorismo. A TG é constituída por um conjunto de métodos, técnicas, conceitos e ações no cuidado religioso, objetivando atender, formar, angariar, supervisionar, controlar, treinar, orientar, motivar e vocacionar de forma contínua, racional, afetiva e espiritual seus seguidores. / Abstract: This thesis makes a analysis of the elements that constitute the new “ethos” of Brazilian neo-Pentecostalism, from the clergy and laity of the Sara Nossa Terra Church in the Federal District (DF). Based on the Weberian method, the research used participant observations, semi-structured interviews, survey and content analysis to understand the Exchange flows and management of the religious experience of members of Sara Nossa Terra Church. This institution is characterized as a neo-Pentecostal religious organization, well equipped technologically, with a professional and creative missionary activity. Its services and products are preferentially able to reach people of lower and upper middle class, in different age groups. It is based on the “cell” model, has a different ecclesiastical performance, demonstrating from its praxis the evidence of what I call in this thesis as “Theology of Management” (TM). This theology is characterized as a functional type of discourse on faith and financial prosperity. Through a biblical re-reading that associates Old Testament religious legalism with positive confession, it adds elements of religious syncretism, coaching principles and entrepreneurship. TM is made up of a set of methods, techniques, concepts and actions in religious care, aiming to attend, raise, supervise, control, train, guide, motivate and continuously, rationally, affectionately and spiritually support its followers. / Diese These macht eine Analyse der Elemente, die das neue "Ethos" der Neu-Pfingstbewegung in Brasilien ausmachen, anhand von den Klerikern und Laien der Sara-Nossa-Terra-Kirche im Bundesdistrikt (DF). Basierend auf der weberianischen Methode wurden in der Umfrage aktive Beobachtungen, halbstrukturierte Interviews, Befragungen und Inhaltsanalysen für das Verständnis des Austausches und das Management der religiösen Erfahrung der Mitglieder von Sara Nossa Terra - Kirche eingesetzt. Diese Institution wird als eine technologisch gut ausgestattete neopentekostale religiöse Organisation mit einer professionellen und kreativen missionarischen Tätigkeit charakterisiert. Seine Dienstleistungen und Produkte erreichen vorzugsweise die untere und obere Mittelschicht in verschiedenen Altersgruppen. Sie orientiert sich am "Zellen"-Modell, sie hat eine differenzierte kirchliche Leistung, die aus ihrer Praxis heraus die Evidenz dessen zeigt, was ich in dieser These "Theologie des Managements" (TM) nenne. Diese Theologie wird als ein funktionaler Diskurstyp über Glauben und finanziellen Wohlstand charakterisiert. Durch eine biblische Lektüre, die den religiösen Legalismus des Alten Testaments mit einem positiven Bekenntnis verbindet, fügt sie Elemente des religiösen Synkretismus, Prinzipien des Coachings und des Unternehmertums hinzu.
