VIII – X klasių muzikos vadovėlių turinio vykdymo tyrimai / The Analysis of Implementation of Music Textbooks Content for the Students of Grade 8-10

The music teacher, who works at school, tries to implement the program of musical education and the content of the music textbook so that his students would advance the higher level of musical skills. If he wants to work successfully in the modern school, the music teacher has to select the material suitably according to the students’ skills and knowledge. The Master’s work analyzes how the content of the textbooks of musical training is implemented in the general schools of grade 8-10. The scientific- theoretical literature and methodology about musical education are studied in the Lithuanian secondary schools. The research was implemented, which analyzed how the content of the textbooks of grade 8-10 is implemented in Radviliškis secondary schools the first time and which is the students’ level of those grades. The data of this research has shown the position in the schools of the district.. This training experiment, which was done in Radviliškis Gražinos secondary school 8a class in 2004-2005, has shown that the content of the music textbook can be implemented by practicing the individual program of musical education and learning what students are able to do and to advance the students to the higher level of musical level.

In pedagogy including music pedagogy,teaching methods are not less important than teaching content,therefore it is very important to thoughtfully choose teaching methods.It is often stated that vocal training is the mostly examined area of music teaching.However,the analysis of pedagogical,methodical literature ,communication with music,singing teachers proved that the teachers come across with the problem raised in this paper-the lack of methodical material on different voice training methods. The object of the study:the peculiarities of phonopedic voice training method by V.Jemeljanovas and its applicability in vocal groups.

The Subject “Strategies of the Development of Special Education in the European Union Countries.” The problem analysed in the work: the strategic trends of special education in the European Union countries. The aim of the Master’s work is to reveal the essential trends of the policy of the European Union countries taking account of special education broadening. The objects are: 1. to discuss the historical experience of the European Union countries and legal regulations of special education; 2. to define the peculiarities of the assessment system of special education needs in the European Union countries; 3. to reveal the main purposes of the content of special education in the European Union countries; 4. to analyse the relation between the general and special education, realizing the prior aims of special education in the European Union countries. Being the member of the European Union it is necessary to read the laws including those regulating educational system. In Lithuania there is little information about educational system in the European Union and no information was found about policy of special education. The relevance of the theme is that most pupils with special educational needs make mistakes solving textual tasks. There are not many concrete recommendations how to teach such pupils to solve these tasks. In descriptive research, based on qualitative data analysis, peculiarities of solving textual tasks, mistakes made by pupils who have complex learning disabilities (because of disorders of self - control – attention, specific cognition - confusion of visual operations and listening comprehension, linguistic process and behaviour – slow activity, uneven working ability) and ways to avoid them are being analysed. It is stated that an adequate experience given to SEN pupils makes it possible to teach them use appropriate strategies oriented to solving problems. In the process of the experiment it was revealed that SEN pupils can be helped to solve textual problems by forming right images about quantities, teaching then to solve preparative tasks. Detailed problem analysis, pointing out essential facts, self – instructing using inner speech, drawing schemas, dissolving problems are of great use as well.

Largest attention in the scientific methodology literature on basketball topics is paid at training and improvement of techniques and tactics as well as at analysis of the best Lithuanian, European and world players during different competitions (Stonkus, 1985, 2002; Zelezniakas, 1984). However physical preparation problems of the players are left with little or without attention. Aim of the work: to analyse physical preparation peculiarities of Siauliai basketball club players and to relate them with preparation stage dynamics in the annual sports preparation cycle. Tasks of investigation: 1. To analyse physical preparation peculiarities of top mastership basketball teams (physical load volumes, intensity, allocation throughout the preparation cycle, percentage of different direction loads and their changing, physical preparation and readiness patterns). 2. To analyse annual physical preparation pattern of Siauliai basketball team and to assess it through analysis of physical readiness indices. 3. To follow and to base physical readiness index dynamics in the annual training macrocycle. 4. Research subject is the peculiarities of communication skills training of children with moderate and severe intellectual disabilities at pre-school age. Hypothesis: the communication between children is stimulated when education goals, tasks, methods and activities meet children communication abilities. Research aim is to analyze the peculiarities of communication education of children with moderate and severe intellectual disabilities. Research methods: theoretical analysis of scientific sources, question airing that allows summarizing the educational experience of specific communication training cases. The research data on the persons under research is provided by special educators of pre-school education institutions. Persons under research – children of pre-school age (4 – 8 years) with moderate and severe intellectual disabilities and moderate and severe speech development. Conclusions. Communication abilities of children with moderate and severe intellectual disabilities are of a low level, revealing themselves by active responsive reactions of children into communication initiative, but not with the initiative of children themselves.

Pre-primary education is one of the most important factors of early child‘s socialization. Advanced family‘ s attitudes towards pre-primary education determine parents decision either let their child attend a preprimary group or not. Appealing to the empirical research it may be stated that iteraction between parents and an educational institution is not satisfying: parents get little information, collaboration is formal between family and an educational institution. Those parents, who did not give the possibility to their children to participate in pre primary education, realize pre primary education as a social service that is guaranteed by the state. They do not realize the most important function of pre-primary education to get ready a child for a school. Positive changes were made by doing variuos reforms, researches and problem solving reached possitive changes. It is noticed that parents‘ positive attitude towards pre primary education is changing depending on a child‘s participation in it: parents of pre- primary and primary students assess pre-primary education more positive than those parents whose children do not attend a pre- primary group. Consequently, organization of pre- primary education is rather fluent, its content satisfy parents partialy. Parents think that an educational institution is a social partner. Dvikalbis ugdymas atspindi Europos kalbų ir svarbiausias Lietuvos švietimo politikos, bei švietimo plėtojimosi kryptis. Dvikalbiu ugdymu siekiama sudaryti sąlygas tobulinti mokinių kalbinei kompetencijai, kurti ir gerinti daugiakultūrę aplinką, bei gerinti mokinių bendruosius komunikacinius gebėjimus. Šio magistrinio darbo tikslas - ištirti dvikalbio ugdymo ypatumus, išryškinant dvikalbio ugdymo situaciją Lietuvoje. Magistro darbe analizuojamas dvikalbis ugdymas Vilniaus miesto vidurinėse mokyklose, analizuojama dvikalbio udymo samprata ir psichologiniai jos ypatumai, nagrinėjami ES ir Lietuvos teisiniai dokumentai, analizuojami dvikalbio ugdymo istoriniai aspektai, dvikalbio ugdymo modeliai, išryškinamos problemos, su kuriomis susiduria mokytojai dirbdami pagal dvikalbio ugdymo programą. Bilingual education reflects European languages and the main policy of Lithuanian education, as well as, education development trends. It is thought to form conditions perfecting children language competence, creating and improving pupils common communicative abilities by bilingual teaching. The aim of this Master dissertation is to survey the bilingual education and its peculiarities. In Master’s dissertation there are analised the concept of bilingual education and its psychological peculiarities, as well as, European Union and Lithuanian legal documents, historical aspects of bilingual education, bilingual teaching models. There are also highlighted the main problems which appear working with bilingual teaching syllabus. There was made a research in Vilnius city secondary schools of ethnic groups.
