[pt] A AUTONOMIA INDÍGENA ORIGINÁRIO CAMPESINA NA CONSTITUIÇÃO DE 2009 DA BOLÍVIA: UMA ANÁLISE A PARTIR DO PROCESSO DE URU CHIPAYA / [es] LA AUTONOMÍA INDÍGENA ORIGINARIO CAMPESINA EN LA CONSTITUICIÓN DE 2009 EN BOLIVIA: UN ANÁLISIS DESDE EL PROCESO DE URU CHIPAYA / [en] THE INDIGENOUS ORIGINARY PEASANT AUTONOMY IN BOLIVIA S 2009 CONSTITUTION: AN ANALYSIS FROM URU CHIPAYA S PROCESS

TICIANA COELHO SILVEIRA 11 July 2022 (has links)
[en] On February 7, 2009, Bolivia promulgated a new Constitution. The text, the result of a long constituent process, lasting approximately four years, re-founded the country from a plurinational concept, with respect to native peoples, workers, nature, solidarity and ancestral philosophies. In it, the right to self-determination of originay indigenous peoples was established, to be materialized, among other means, by indigenous originary peasant autonomy. However, the union around the common objective of the decolonization of the country was not enough to eradicate the contradictions of Bolivia, fruit of the maintenance of structures of colonialism in the social relations and between societies, reason why the realization of the constitutionally recognized rights has operated in slow steps and faced challenges from both government and opposition sectors. For this reason, the present work aims to analyze if, and in what way, the indigenous originary peasant autonomy has been implemented in Bolivia, more than a decade after the promulgation of the constitutional text, through the case study of originaru nation Uru Chipaya s acquisition process of indigenous originary peasant autonomy, identifying possible obstacles and difficulties to the materialization of the right to self-determination and the Plurinational State.

Aspectos da interação cultural entre os grupos ceramistas pré-coloniais do médio curso do Rio Tocantins / Aspects of the interaction between pre-colonials pottery-making groups of the middle course of the Tocantins river

Oliveira, Elisangela Regina de 20 July 2005 (has links)
Through the analysis of the variability of the ceramic industry in the intrasite and intersite spaces in two open air pre-colonial settlements related the ceramist groups associated to the traditions Aratu and Uru and located in the middle course of the Tocantins River, this study objectified to supply parameters the debate concerning processes of cultural interaction between these ceramist groups, that according to some authors would have motivated and configured the pre-colonial occupation human of Central Brazil since at least century X. By means of the statistical tests of Cluster and Principal Component such variability is evaluated in intention to understand the organization of the use of the intrasite space, as well as the degree of present interaction between the studied settlements

Neotectonics And Seismicity Of The Ankara Region: A Case Study In The Urus Area

Kaplan, Tulin 01 July 2004 (has links) (PDF)
Study area, the UruS province, is located 70 km WNW of city of Ankara. Major settlements in the study area are two counties, UruS and G&uuml / d&uuml / l / and there are a number of villages, such as, from W to E, Macun, Yogunpelit, Kabaca, &Uuml / regil, &Ouml / zk&ouml / y, Tahtaci&ouml / rencik, Kirkkavak, Kavak&ouml / z&uuml / , Kayi and Karaca&ouml / ren. The study area is 189 km2 in size and included in 1/25000-scaled topographic quadrangles of H28a3, a4, d1 and d2. The G&uuml / d&uuml / l- UruS section of the &Ccedil / eltik&ccedil / i morphotectonic depression (&Ccedil / eltik&ccedil / i Basin) drained by the Antecedent Kirmir River and its second-order drainage system was first mapped in detail in the present study, and faults determining northern margin of the &Ccedil / eltik&ccedil / i depression were named as the UruS fault set comprising the SW part of the &Ccedil / eltik&ccedil / i Fault Zone / and the mechanism of the master fault of the UruS fault set was determined as left lateral oblique-slip fault with reverse component by the morphologic markers such as the deformed drainage system and pressure ridges. This was also supported by the fault plane solutions of the 2000.08.22 UruS earthquake. Three fault plane solutions, of which two of them for the 2000.08.22 UruS earthquake, and one of them for the 2003.02.27 &Ccedil / amlidere earthquake, were done to determine nature of the source. Ground material underlying the city of Ankara were divided into three categories: (a) well-lithified basement rocks, (b) Pliocene fluvio-lacustrine v sedimentary sequence, and (c) unconsolidated terrace and alluvial sediments of Quaternary age. Quaternary unconsolidated sediments are densely populated in Ankara. These sediments are fine-grained and have a maximum thickness of 200 m or more. Inside these sediments, static ground water level is very close (as on average: 6 m) to ground surface. These conditions are quite suitable for liquefaction of these unconsolidated alluvial sediments. In addition, basement rocks are full of zone of weakness. Even if, the city of Ankara is characterized by the shallow focus and small earthquakes (M&amp / #8804 / 5), it is open to the risk of large earthquakes to be sourced from the North Anatolian Fault System and the Seyfe Fault Zone located 110 km and 80 km, respectively, owing the ground material conditions beneath the city of Ankara. This point has to be taken out in constructions and site selection solution.

Notes on a History of the Puquina Speakers / Apuntes para la historia de los puquinahablantes

Bouysse-Cassagne, Thérèse 10 April 2018 (has links)
The same historical documentation that provides evidence for the reasons why the Puquina language disappeared, also provides linguistic information which, in combination with archaeological studies, allows us to interpret its history in the period prior to the Inca conquest of Collasuyu, as well as during the time under Incas domination. Using the method of regressive history, and making use of various disciplines (history, archaeology, linguistics), this paper proposes an interpretation of the history of the last Puquina-speakers.

No. of bitstreams: 1 Rosangela Barbosa Silva.pdf: 6739599 bytes, checksum: 8c0c247b98070155b00d978b89d4e370 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2004-12-22 / This work is based in a museological curatorial management to promote a temporary and itinerant exhibit, notably formed by visual registries documented by Jesco von Puttkamer, when the national society came to meet the Uru Eu Wau Wau, indigenous people inhabitants of the state of Rondonia. This expositive clipping is based on the pictures which portray the universe of the Uru Eu Wau Wau children, as the reflexion elements of the aspects of interracial contact, the children universe and the role of children as spokespeople in the indigenous and white relationship. These registries, which belong to the Instituto Goiano de Pré-História e Antropologia (Pre- Historical and Anthopological Institute in Goiânia), at Universidade Católica de Goiás (Catholic University), are part of a photographical collection in slides, produced by Jesco in the 1980 s, being the witnesses materials of the mediation between the above mentioned indigenous society and the surround society. Like material vestiges, the slide collection of the Uru Eu Wau Wau allows us to look back on the moment of contact, visualizing some of the aspects of that moment. Created to be the museological curatorial raw material for the assembly of the temporary and itinerant exhibit, the image collection of the Uru Eu Wau Wau is treated as museological object. Being such an object, the photographical registries may be targets of many possibilities, considering that the museological strategy originates an interactive and polysemous game for those who visit the exhibit.

Symbolic and Material Boundaries : An archaeological genealogy of the Urus of Lake Poopó, Bolivia

Sáenz, Virginia January 2006 (has links)

The thesis focuses on Bolivian Indians who are assimilated into ethnic groups as one of many consequences of the colonial past. An understanding of the complexity of this construction draws from disciplines such as Anthropology, Archaeology, History, Sociology, in an effort to expose the power relations behind the construction. Departing from written sources and the general belief that the area would lodge the most ancient of such Indians, the Uru from Lake Poopó, a specific location has been selected in the Oruro province of the mid Bolivian highlands. The province is named after this people. The identity of the Uru people has been established by reference to other Indians in the Bolivian Andes known as the Aymara or the Quechua. Colonial accounts written by the Spanish conquerors, including priests, soldiers and commoners, as well as modern sources are discussed and analysed. The fieldwork combines archaeological and anthropological methods. Finally, the importance of multidisciplinary approaches is discussed in an effort to contribute to an understanding of multi-cause phenomena in this case the constructed ethnic identity of the Uru people.

Game developing, the D'ni way: how myst/uru fans inherited the cultural legacy of a lost empire

Watson, Nicholas 05 July 2012 (has links)
This research considers how the culture of game developer Cyan Worlds influences the gameplay environment and the culture of fans in Myst Online: Uru Live. The game has gone through two commercial releases and in both cases it was cancelled after a short time. Fans have attempted to salvage the game by producing their own server software and content creation tools. Recently, Cyan released their own source code and development tools to the fan community, giving fans an official channel for creating new content. This work builds off of Pearce's (2009b) study of the culture of Uru players and emergent play, but adds the dimension of considering the culture of developers themselves. A primary goal of this study was to determine how the culture of a game developer like Cyan shapes the constraints of the designed "play ecosystem" (Pearce 2009b: 7), and how it shapes the processes by which fans can salvage aspects of the game to create new content. One finding is that the design of Uru's gameplay environment is rooted in the cultural practices, personal philosophical goals and individual personality traits of its developers. Fans were able to assert ownership over the Uru story-world and the means of production of new content by proactively applying technical and problem-solving skills--the same sorts of skills that players must apply to solving puzzles in Myst games. This fan action, coupled with Cyan's goal of making an open-ended world, has helped to propel the initiative to provide open-source tools for creating new content. When fans produce new content, they draw significantly from an existing shared cultural repertoire of cues and conventions. These conventions are supported both by the software affordances of the development environment and by cultural precedent--they are readily adapted to Myst-like narratives and are easily "read" by experienced players.
