Na atual conjuntura, a competitividade das empresas passou a ser condição sine qua non para a permanência no mercado. Ademais, a competitividade deixou de depender da empresa por si só e passou a ser resultado da competitividade de toda a cadeia de valor em que a empresa está inserida. Neste contexto, surge no Brasil o Programa Nacional de Encadeamento Produtivo que visa, dentre outros objetivos, desenvolver a cadeia de valor de empresas para aumentar a competitividade de pequenos, médios e grandes negócios. O Programa Nacional de Encadeamento Produtivo atua em cinco focos estratégicos, sendo um deles o foco em Rede de Aprendizagem. O foco Rede de Aprendizagem, por fortalecer as ligações e interações entre os membros de uma cadeia de valor, ajuda no desenvolvimento dos outros focos estratégicos do programa. Possui, assim, importância singular em todo o processo de encadeamento produtivo. Mesmo com tamanha importância, as redes ainda estão aquém do potencial de desenvolvimento que elas podem gerar. Deste modo, o trabalho teve como objetivo geral propor referências para auxiliar o desenvolvimento de redes organizacionais. Para tanto, realizou-se pesquisa qualitativa baseada em entrevistas em profundidade. As entrevistas foram realizadas em oito redes organizacionais. Com base nas boas práticas existentes, nas diferentes formas de atuação, na cultura de cooperação entre os membros das redes e no impacto efetivo que cada uma das redes visitadas produz nas empresas, foram propostas referências para nortear o desenvolvimento das redes de aprendizagem. Os principais resultados foram referências sobre estrutura de gestão, processos internos, funções dos membros, métricas de desenvolvimento, dentre outros norteadores de atuação. / Nowadays, the competitiveness of enterprises has become an indispensable condition for surviving in the market. Furthermore, competitiveness no longer depends on the company itself, but rather became a result of the competitiveness of the whole value chain. In this context, the National Program for Productive Linkage was established in Brazil. This program aims, among other objectives, at developing the value chain of companies in order to increase the competitiveness of small, medium and large businesses. The National Program for Productive Linkage act on five strategic foci, one of them being the focus on Learning Network. The Learning Network focus, by strengthening the connections and interactions among members of a chain value, enhances the development of the other strategic foci of the program and, thus, has a singular importance in the whole process of the productive linkage. Despite being so important, the networks are still below the potential for development that they can generate. Therefore, the main objective of this study was to propose references to support the development of entrepreneurial Learning Networks. To this end, a qualitative research was done, based on in-depth interviews. The interviews were conducted in eight organizational networks. Based on: (i) the existing good practices; (ii) the various ways of working; (iii) the cooperational culture among their members; and (iv) the effective impacts that Organizational Networks produce in the enterprises; references have been proposed to guide the development of Learning Network. The main results were references to management structure, internal processes, functions of members, development metrics, among other guides for better performance.

O avanço da tecnologia da informação e da aplicação de computadores na indústria de mineração permitiu a automatização de várias atividades da cadeia de valor mineral (CVM). As atividades da cadeia de valor mineral podem ser divididas em atividades de suporte e em atividades primárias. Os sistemas ERP (Enterprise and Resource Planning) têm fornecido por muitos anos a plataforma para a integração eficiente das atividades de suporte da mineração. No entanto, apesar dos avanços obtidos com a aplicação dos computadores em nichos técnicos específicos, não se conseguiu até o presente momento, integrar efetivamente as atividades primárias da cadeia de valor mineral. As principais razões para isto, são tanto as incertezas existentes no processo produtivo, que diferentemente de outros setores industriais são intrínsecas ao negócio da mineração, quanto as dificuldades para se medir e gerenciar convenientemente os indicadores chave de desempenho (KPIs-Key Performance Indicators), relevantes à cadeia de valor mineral. A medição e controle dos KPIs é fundamental para a quantificação dos eventuais benefícios da aplicação de tecnologia e do potencial de retorno do investimento em recursos humanos e financeiros, necessários à integração das atividades primárias da cadeia de valor mineral. Esta tese não se propõe a integrar a cadeia de valor mineral, mas a demonstrar como a integração da atividade geotécnica da CVM gera benefícios tangíveis, que permitem antever os benefícios de sua completa integração e assim a tese avança a um ponto do controle geotécnico que é o monitoramento da estabilidade de taludes em minas em operação, para demonstrar que a aplicação de metodologias de monitoramento e controle adequadas, impactam positivamente nos KPIs e consequentemente nas atividades da cadeia de valor mineral, relacionadas a eles. O objetivo desta tese é também o de comprovar a importância do monitoramento eficaz dos KPIs para a integração das atividades geotécnicas da cadeia de valor mineral exemplificando seu impacto na eficiência, qualidade e economicidade dos processos envolvidos e assim, comprovar a eficaz possibilidade de integração destas atividades da cadeia de valor mineral e a possibilidade de extrapolação da integração para o restante da mesma. Neste sentido o trabalho desenvolve-se primeiramente no intuito de determinar os principais KPIs controlados em algumas das mais importantes empresas de mineração brasileiras. Pela correta identificação das métricas e do contexto gerencial em que estes estão inseridos é possível demonstrar a importância e o impacto de seu mapeamento e medição para a gestão efetiva do negócio da mineração. Uma nova tecnologia de monitoramento de taludes que faz uso de equipamentos de radar imageadores é apresentada e explicada, assim como vários exemplos de sua utilização ao redor do mundo são descritos, ressaltando-se os resultados obtidos e sua influência na medição e gerenciamento dos KPIs envolvidos. Finalmente, uma nova metodologia escalonada e com pontos de decisão é proposta para a integração da cadeia de valor mineral e aplicada a dois projetos desenvolvidos pelo autor, que são apresentados e discutidos para demonstrar e comprovar os benefícios econômicos advindos de sua aplicação. Para esses projetos, o autor planejou e executou a coleta de dados, procedeu a suas análises, avaliou seus impactos econômicos e comprovou a relevância do estudo realizado. / The advance of information technology and computer application to the mining industry has allowed the automation of several activities of the mineral value chain (MVC). The activities of the mineral value chain can be divided in support and primarily activities. ERP (Enterprise and Resource Planning) systems have provided, for many years, the platform for the efficient integration of the support activities in mining. Despite all the advance gathered with the application of computers to specific technical niches, the effective integration of the primarily activities of the mineral value chain has not been obtained to date. The main reasons for this fact are the uncertainties existent in the production process that differently from other industrial sectors, are intrinsic to the mining business, as well as the difficulties to measure and manage the key performance indicators (KPIs) that are relevant to the mineral value chain. The measurement and control of KPIs is fundamental for quantifying the eventual benefits of the application of technology and the potential for the return of the investments in human and financial resources, needed to integrate the primarily activities of the mineral value chain. This thesis is not aimed at integrating the mineral value chain, but to demonstrate how the integration of the geotechnical activity of the MVC generates tangible benefits that allow foreseeing the benefits of its complete integration, so this thesis reaches a point of the geotechnical control that is the slope stability monitoring of operational mines, in order to demonstrate that the application of adequate methodologies of monitoring and control, impact positively on the KPIs and consequently on the activities of the mineral value chain related to them. The objective of this thesis is also to prove the importance of the effective monitoring of KPIs for the integration of the geotechnical activities of the mineral value chain and its impact in the efficiency, quality and economics of the processes involved, in order to prove the effective possibility of the integration of this activity of the mineral value chain thus demonstrating the possibility to extrapolate the integration results to the remaining chain inter-activities. In this sense, the work is developed primarily with the aim of determining the main KPIs that are controlled in some of the most important Brazilian mining companies. Through the correct identification of the metrics and management context in which they are inserted, it is possible to demonstrate the importance and impact of their mapping and measurement for the effective management of the mining business. A new technology for slope monitoring that uses imaging radar equipment is presented and explained as well as several examples of its utilization around the world are described, emphasizing the results obtained and their influence for the measurement and management of the involved KPIs. Finally, a new staggered methodology, with decision points is proposed for the integration of the mineral value chain and applied to two projects developed by the author, which are presented and discussed in order to demonstrate and to prove the economic benefits obtained from its application. For these projects, the author planned and executed the data collection, data analysis, economic assessment and proved the relevance of the work performed.

Ce travail de recherche vise à utiliser la sociologie néo-institutionnelle et ses concepts clés tels que les logiques institutionnelles et le travail institutionnel pour analyser comment les acteurs agissent sur les institutions au niveau d'une filière agricole. Nous avons choisi de vérifier l'applicabilité de notre cadre théorique dans un contexte empirique subissant un changement institutionnel, la filière légumes mauricienne. Pour valider le cadre théorique choisi, nous avons tout d'abord mené un terrain exploratoire. A travers une analyse thématique des enquêtes, nous avons identifié les logiques institutionnelles qui orientent les actions de nos principaux acteurs dans la filière légumes mauricienne, et les types et formes de travail institutionnel entreprit par les acteurs en place et nouveaux de la filière légumes. Cette thèse permet de conclure que l'étude du travail institutionnel dans une dynamique de filière agricole a toute son importance car l'approche sociologique permet aux chercheurs de mieux appréhender le comportement des acteurs de la filière.Mots clés : sociologie néo-institutionnelle, logique institutionnelle, travail institutionnelle, filière agricole, analyse de contenu thématique, analyse qualitative comparée. / This research work aimed at using sociological neo institutionalism and its key concepts, institutional logics, and institutional work to understand the work undertaken by actors in an agricultural value chain. We have chosen the Mauritian vegetable value chain, in the context of an institutional change, as a field of study to apply the theoretical concepts. An exploratory study was carried out to validate the theoretical framework selected. Thematic content analysis allowed us to identify the institutional logics of the vegetable value chain as well as the different types and forms of institutional work undertaken by the incumbent and new actors. This research work allows us to conclude that the use of the concept of institutional work to understand the dynamics of an agricultural value chain is important as the sociological lens enables researchers to better understand actors' behavior in a value chain.Key words: sociological neo institutionalism, institutional logics, and institutional, agricultural value chain, thematic analysis, qualitative comparative analysis

Previous issue date: 2009-08-10 / Coordena??o de Aperfei?oamento de Pessoal de N?vel Superior - CAPES / This study was developed based on the introduction of the Banana local production system at Rio de Janeiro state, according to the cluster theory, aiming to support the sustainable development of the region, that is facing fierce competition from the products coming from other regions in Brazil. In this situation a professional marketing management, using the right distribution channels, thus the recognition of the product value attributes may generate real competitive advantages to de local banana production system. Although Rio de Janeiro is the country?s second largest internal consumer, state production hasn?t found a receptive local market. While logistical costs are lower, local production doesn?t meet the visual characteristics consumers are looking for and as a result finds itself well below the market?s demands. The object of this dissertation is to identify the fruit?s level of competitiveness within the value chain?both in its natural state, as well as that of products derived from it?according to the markets new commercialization standards, in order to revert the strangulation points present in production today. The methods used to map out the difficulties found in the production chain include field research, questionnaires, and interviews with producers and final consumers. The results found point to the technical deficiencies of production without modern cultural treatments and distance between producers when it comes to the sale of natural or industrialized products which makes them competitors rather than partners in a cluster. Products derived from bananas could present a solution, both in regards to products that currently aren?t being sold due to an excess of bananas on the market, as well as for producers who lack the means to compete in a market where high-tech products with a more attractive appearance are found. This study allows the identification of the deficient agents in the production chain and presents a proposition of new solutions and Technologies to enhance the cluster formation, be it in the formation of producers associations or other forms of cooperative behavior in search for the implementation of new solutions. The use of information that may aggregate value to the products and stimulate professional sales may generate marginal incomes to the producers, configuring as a solution to the impoverishment of the families who depend of these incomes to survive. Also the decline of the banana culture has led to a environmental problem and to the real state speculation. Nevertheless the solution to revert this situation lies on the implementation of the local produce system based on clusters theories the adoption of more Professional culture techniques avoiding a uncertain future to this local production system / Este trabalho foi realizado com base na implanta??o do APL da Banana Org?nica do Estado do Rio de Janeiro que tem como objetivo apoiar o desenvolvimento sustent?vel da produ??o da banana na regi?o, entrando em recupera??o frente a bananicultura de outros estados; e uma comercializa??o mais profissional, nos canais de distribui??o corretos e com a valoriza??o dos elos produtivos poder? trazer uma real vantagem competitiva ao APL. Apesar do Rio de Janeiro ser o segundo maior consumidor interno, a produ??o n?o encontra no estado um mercado receptor, mesmo tendo um custo log?stico inferior, o produto n?o atende ?s caracter?sticas visuais que se apresentam muito abaixo das exig?ncias do que o mercado consumidor busca. A metodologia de trabalho utilizada para mapear as dificuldades da cadeia produtiva foi aplicar pesquisas de campo com uso de question?rios e entrevistas com produtores e consumidores finais. Os resultados encontrados apontam para as defici?ncias tecnol?gicas da produ??o sem uso dos modernos tratos culturais e do distanciamento dos produtores entre si, na hora de vender o produto in natura ou o produto industrializado, transformando-os em concorrentes e n?o parceiros de um cluster. Os derivados de banana poder?o ser uma solu??o para os produtos que ora n?o s?o vendidos pelo excesso de oferta e para os produtos que n?o apresentam condi??es de disputar um mercado concorrido com produtos de alta tecnologia e apar?ncia agrad?vel ao consumidor. Este trabalho permitiu identificar na cadeia produtiva elos deficientes que resultaram numa proposta com aporte de novas tecnologias em solu??es que fortale?am o que poder? ser um cluster, seja na forma??o de associa??es de produtores ou outros grupos onde todos possam cooperar na busca e implanta??o das solu??es. A key components of a business model is the value chain, in extent that is the basis for
the maintenance and / or acquisition of competitive advantage, in order to create value for both the company and its stakeholders and for the consumer market. In the specific case of reverse logistics, value chain beyond the boundaries of the firm, extending downstream chain.For both, was adopted a survey method based on qualitative data collection with the strategy of the case study. Notably, the study analyzes the value chain of the company focus,contemplating from the manufacturer, the official dealer until the company responsible for waste management, beyond the downstream value chain of its competitor. It is noteworthy,that, the company focus of this study is considered the fifth largest in the world tire industry in Sales. The analysis results demonstrated, that, changes in the business model of the
manufacturers was through reconfiguring its value chain, more specifically, the downstream chain extension, beyond the creation of a nonprofit organization with the objective of monitor and manage the reverse flows. In fact, showed that, innovation in the company's business model is substantially based on networks of external collaborations, in order to attend both environmental legislation and economic aspects of the organization. Still, changes in the business model of its dealers are more apparent, fact that, can be observed through the inclusion of reverse logistics activities in their configuration the value. / As legislações ambientais podem exercer impactos no modelo de negócios das empresas na indústria de pneumáticos no Brasil, por meio da obrigatoriedade no desenvolvimento e
implementação da logística reversa. Em face desse contexto, este estudo tem por objetivo entender como as empresas na indústria de pneumáticos desenvolveram e implementaram a
logística reversa e quais foram os impactos em seu modelo de negócios. Um dos componentes fundamentais de um modelo é a cadeia de valor, na medida em que é a base para a
manutenção e/ou aquisição da vantagem competitiva, visando a criar valor tanto para a empresa e seus stakeholders quanto para o mercado consumidor. No caso específico da
logística reversa, a cadeia de valor ultrapassa as fronteiras da empresa, estendendo à jusante da cadeia. Para tanto, foi adotada uma pesquisa baseada no método coleta de dados tipo qualitativo, com a estratégia do estudo de caso. Notadamente, o estudo analisou a cadeia de valor da empresa foco, contemplando desde a fabricante, a revendedora oficial até a empresa responsável pelo gerenciamento de resíduos, além da jusante da cadeia de valor de sua concorrente. Vale destacar, que, a empresa foco deste estudo é considerada a quinta maior do mundo em faturamento na indústria de pneumáticos. O resultado da análise demonstrou, que,as mudanças no modelo de negócios das fabricantes foi por meio da reconfiguração de sua cadeia de valor, mais especificamente, a extensão da cadeia à jusante, além da criação de uma organização sem fins lucrativos com o objetivo de monitorar e gerenciar os fluxos reversos.
De fato, evidenciou que, a inovação no modelo de negócios da empresa é fortemente baseada em redes de colaborações externas, com o objetivo de atender tanto as legislações ambientais quanto aos aspectos econômicos da organização. Ainda, as mudanças no modelo de negócios de seus revendedores são mais aparentes, fato que, pode ser observado por meio da inclusão das atividades da logística reversa em sua configuração de valor.

O objetivo primordial desta tese foi identificar os fatores determinantes para a tradução da estratégia em ações e resultados uma nova competência organizacional denominada de disciplina da execução da estratégia. Para o alcance desse objetivo, realizou-se uma extensa revisão da literatura pertinente às áreas de conhecimento vinculadas ao tema da tese, bem como uma pesquisa de campo junto a empresas envolvidas em processos de modelagem e ação estratégica, com estratégias de pesquisa de caráter quantitativo. Os principais resultados encontrados mostram um conjunto de 23 construtos, agrupados em cinco fatores-chave para o processo de execução da estratégia, que têm impacto significativo na melhoria de resultados em duas categorias: financeira e processos. Como resultado combinado da pesquisa teórica e empírica propõe-se um modelo, denominado de modelo da cadeia de valor da disciplina da execução da estratégia, para orientar e guiar as organizações em seus esforços e iniciativas em busca do sucesso na execução de suas estratégias. / The main objective of this thesis was the identification of the determinant factors to translate the strategy into actions and results a new organizational competence called the discipline of strategy execution. To reach this proposed objective, the methodological selected approach encompass a theoretically based study, through a broad literature search and review concerning the knowledge areas related to the key issues linked to the project research, as well as a field research carried out in companies involved with strategic modeling and action. The main results show a range of 23 constructs, clustered into five key factors in the strategy implementation process, which have significant impact on both the categories of results: financial and processes. As a result of these approaches, the Strategy Execution Value-Chain Model was proposed in order to provide a guide to support companies efforts and initiatives in their successful journey to strategy execution.

Réduire les usages d’antibiotiques est un des leviers principaux pour contrer l’avancée de l’antibiorésistance qui menace l’efficacité du traitement des maladies bactériennes humaines et animales. En filières bovin laitier et jeunes bovins de boucherie, deux maladies de production sont responsables des principaux usages d’antibiotiques, respectivement les mammites et les maladies respiratoires. L’objectif de la thèse a été d’identifier auprès des acteurs des filières des verrous limitant l’amélioration des pratiques la diminution de l’utilisation d’antibiotiques, puis d’identifier des leviers d’action. En élevage de jeunes bovins de boucherie, des entretiens auprès d’acteurs de la filière (éleveurs et responsables) et des enquêtes auprès d’éleveurs ont permis d’identifier que l’organisation de la filière est un des principaux verrous. Cependant, les caractéristiques des systèmes d’exploitations et les compétences des éleveurs constituaient également une potentielle limite. En élevage bovin laitier, des entretiens ont permis de montrer que les perceptions et connaissances des éleveurs semblaient être un des freins majeurs à l’amélioration des pratiques, le système d’exploitation semblant intervenir à la marge. En élevage bovin allaitant, des leviers permettant d’améliorer la coordination entre les acteurs de la chaîne de valeur ont été identifiés. En élevage laitier, un programme innovant de formation et de conseil a été évalué dans le cadre d’une étude d’intervention, montrant une amélioration des connaissances et perceptions des éleveurs sur la prévention et l’utilisation des antibiotiques. / Reducing antibiotic use is one of the main levers to limit the increase of antimicrobial resistance, which threatens the effectiveness of the treatments of human and animal bacterial diseases. In dairy and young beef bull sectors, antibiotics are mainly used to control two production diseases, respectively mastitis and bovine respiratory diseases (BRD). The objective of the thesis was to identify with sectors’ stakeholders’ limitations for the improvement of antibiotic use practices, then to identify levers of action. In the young beef bulls’ sector, interviews with stakeholders and farmers showed that the organization of the value chain, because of its potential influence on BRD risk factors, was one of the main limitation identified. However, the characteristics of farming systems and farmers’ skills were also a potential limitation. In the dairy sector, interviews have shown that farmers’ perceptions and knowledge seemed to be one of the major limitation to the improvement of the practices. The farming system seemed to have only limited influence. In young beef bulls sector, levers to improve coordination between stakeholders in the value chain have been identified. In dairy farming, an innovative training and advising program was evaluated as part of an intervention study, showing an improvement in the knowledge and perceptions of farmers regarding prevention measures and antibiotic use.

網際網路的興起,不但加快了人們資訊查詢的速度與廣度,也可能改變大家的閱讀形態。在這股內容數位化的趨勢潮流中,位於實體出版產業價值鏈中游位置的經銷商,面對實體與虛擬兩種不同的通路管道,必須思考運用現有資源的競爭力擬定轉型策略,透過虛實整合以創造新的營運模式,才有機會在這股數位化的洪流中逆勢成長,開創新局。
本研究首先對實體圖書雜誌產業之現況,以及實體圖書雜誌經銷商的產業定位與機能進行瞭解;接著再對數位出版產業價值鏈進行探討,瞭解將內容出版數位化並傳送到消費者端,這些變動促進了哪些新中間商的興起以及發展現況;並對於數位出版產業,從業人員需具備哪些專業能力進行瞭解,以作為個案公司轉型參考。
研究發現,位於實體圖書雜誌產業中游的經銷商,在面對銷售內容數位化的發展趨勢下,因為沒有內容、技術、與平台,在轉型的過程中相對屬於弱勢。要在數位出版經銷產業中發展,說服內容擁有者授權以及拓展數位通路能力則是發展的必要條件。
建議實體出版產業相關業者,可採取先了解數位出版產業如何運作,並且參與其中的策略;意即先了解數位出版產業價值鏈,並分析自己所擁有的內外部資源與核心競爭力,以發掘競爭優勢,才能在有利的戰略位置中發展。

During the trends of content digitalization, the publication distributors industry faces completely different marketing of virtual and physical channel. They must use the competitiveness of existing resources to develop transition strategy,then they can get a chance to grow up and step toward the new age.
At first,we need to understand is their present situation and their detail function of the physical publication distributors industry. Then discusses the value chain of digital publishers and how do the contents digitalized and transferred to the consumers. What kind of new business rising and developing during the transformation and their present situation are also studied. Afterwards, what kind of professional abilities should be required is also studied to be a reference for the company of the case study.
In our studies, lacking of contents, techniques and platforms makes distributors of the publishing industry relative weak in transformation during the process of digitalization. The ability of granting authorization and expending digital salability is a requisite to develop in the business of digital publishing.
The distributors of the publishing industry are suggested to understand the operation of digital publishers and participate in the operations. That is to say, in order to get advantageous position for the competition, the first thing is to find out the value chain of the digital publisher and analyze central competitive ability of oneself.

<p>The understanding of value is often described in terms of an industrial view in which value creation is linear, additive process. The emerging view takes a different approach to value creation: it’s interactive, relationships-based and synchronic. But either of these views capture fully the value creating importance of elements present especially in converging industries: coopetition, networks and external relationships. This thesis has been conducted by gathering primary data from telecommunication industry companies in forms of interviews. The studied companies are engaged in numerous different kinds of external relationships and they are viewed as strategically important. Additionally, respondents believed that their companieswere part of a network but no clear illustration of it could be given. For the purpose of describing some of the complexity present, the value network -framework has been developed.</p>
