Improvement of the efficiency of the door panel department layout at IAC Group AB in Låssby / Förbättring av effektiviteten av dörrpanelavdelningens layout på IAC Group AB i Låssby

This bachelor thesis was written in cooperation with IAC Group AB in Låssby/Gothenburg. The report explains the background to this project and why it was started. It also describes some theory which is needed to understand the project that has been made and which methodologies that have been used during this study. In this project the current state of the door panel department layout was analyzed and studied. Very early on it became clear that one of the biggest wastes for this department is related to operators walking. To make an improvement the focus was on reducing the unnecessary walking distances that the operators have to make and also not exceed the given budget. Six different layout alternatives were analyzed in regards to these factors and compared with each other as well as with the current state. The comparisons resulted in an own layout suggestion which is a combination of some of the six layouts analyzed but also own inputs. This layout is recommended for the company to implement since it reduces the unnecessary walking distances the most of all alternatives and the investment for it is within the given budget.

Utformning av material- och informationsflöden för förbättrad spårbarhet av produkter i arbete : En fallstudie vid GKN ePowertrain Köping / Design of material and information flows for improved traceability of work in progress : A case study at GKN ePowertrain Köping

Spårbarhet är ett sätt att skapa en översiktlig vy av företagets material- och informationsflöden så att de kan koordineras bättre. Material- och informationsflödena behöver i sin tur vara utformade på ett synkroniserat vis där dess tillhörande aktiviteter och system stödjer spårbarhet. Den exakta betydelsen av begreppet spårbarhet är dock otydlig då det existerar en rad olika definitioner av begreppet i litteraturen. I denna studie har spårbarhet däremot definierats som “förmågan att spåra, följa och förutse ett produktpartis plats genom tillverkningsprocessen”. Spåra är förmågan att kunna koppla tidigare händelser i tillverkningen mot ett specifikt produktparti. Följa är förmågan att kunna se ett produktpartis nuvarande plats i flödet och förutse är förmågan att kunna förutse dess framtida plats i flödet. På GKN ePowertrain i Köping finns en prototypavdelning som utvecklar och tillverkar prototyper av kuggväxlar till fyrhjulsdriftsystem. Avdelningen har uppmärksammat problem i tillverkningen vilka har tolkats komma från en bristande spårbarhet av produkter i arbete (PIA). De har exempelvis upplevt det svårt att hålla reda på var PIA befinner sig i tillverkningsprocessen och vilka delprocesser PIA redan bearbetats i. Denna fallstudie har därför syftat till att kartlägga prototypavdelningens material- och informationsflöden och undersöka hur de skulle kunna utformas för förbättrad spårbarhet av PIA. För att kartlägga prototypavdelningens material- och informationsflöden samlades data in via flera intervjuer, observationer och en kontinuerlig dialog med representanter från avdelningen. Det studerade fallet analyserades sedan genom att jämföra teoretiska implikationer för vilken utformning av flödena som stödjer spårbarhet av PIA med de kartlagda flödena. Jämförelsen lade grund för slutsatser och förslag på hur prototypavdelningen skulle kunna förbättra spårbarheten av PIA. Studien visar att prototypavdelningens material- och informationsflöden utgör ett relativt bra stöd för spårbarhet i termer av förmågan att spåra och förutse men nära till inget stöd för förmågan att följa PIA. För att stödja förmågan att följa PIA bör prototypavdelningen utveckla en funktion som tillåter att inrapportera information om lagrings- och transportaktiviteter i form av platsdata till ett spårbarhetssystem. Det har vidare observerats goda möjligheter att använda automatiserad teknik i form av ett streckkodsystem för att utveckla denna funktion. Prototypavdelningen bör även utveckla mer standardiserade processer i materialhanteringen för att erhålla större förutsägbarhet för inlagring och transporter av PIA då det påvisats stödja spårbarhet. För att förbättra stödet för förmågorna spåra och förutse bör prototypavdelningen även arbeta för att minska tidsramen mellan händelse och inrapportering av händelsen.

Pour une phénoménologie du langage chez Wittgenstein / For a wittgensteinian phenomenology of language

Cette thèse se propose de mettre en évidence l’existence d’une phénoménologie du langage dans le « Work in Progress » de Wittgenstein. Elle tentera de démontrer, par une approche globale de sa réflexion, l'unité de ses travaux bâtie autour d'un projet de fondation d'une science du langage qui serait le ciment et le fil conducteur de toute son œuvre. Grâce à l’hypothèse de travail « The Whole Wittgenstein », forgée pour les besoins de notre étude, cette recherche a permis de proposer une nouvelle interprétation de la pensée du philosophe, dépassant ainsi les exégèses classiques restées trop souvent attachées aux thèmes traditionnels du corpus wittgensteinien. Pour y parvenir, il aura fallu d'abord, asseoir et régler la question d’une phénoménologie wittgensteinienne à partir d'indices phénoménologiques probants, puis mettre en lumière son approche phénoménologique du langage. Cette perspective aura un double intérêt : montrer d'une part comment Wittgenstein récupère, forge puis intègre, au centre de ses préoccupations philosophiques, les concepts de la phénoménologie husserlienne, et comment d'autre part, au cours de ses différents changements de paradigmes linguistiques, il passera du langage phénoménologique â une phénoménologie du langage. En interrogeant dans la continuité la pertinence de la thèse d'une phénoménologie du langage chez l'auteur du Tractatus, un détour par l'histoire de la phénoménologie du langage s'est avéré indispensable pour cerner son sens et en délimiter ses contours. Dès lors, il ne restait plus qu'à la comparer avec cette phénoménologie du langage chez Wittgenstein pour préciser la nature, l'objet de cette étude et la méthode de cette dernière. / This dissertation suggests highlighting the existence of a phenomenology of language in the “Work in Progress” of Ludwig Wittgenstein. It will demonstrate, by a global approach of his reflection, the unit of his works developed around the project of building a science of language which would be the cement and main thread of his whole thought. Thanks to the working hypothesis, called "The Whole Wittgenstein", created for the needs of our study, this research allowed us to submit a new interpretation of the thoughts of the Vienna philosopher, overtaking the classic exegeses often attached to the traditional themes of the wittensteinian corpus. To reach this point, it was first necessary to face and solve the question of a wittgensteinian phenomenology from very convincing phenomenological clues in his works. Then we had to bring to light its phenomenological approach of language. This perspective had a double interest : on one hand, to show how Wittgenstein borrowed, forged, and integrated in the center of its philosophical concerns the husserlian phenomenology concepts, and how on the other hand, during his various changes of linguistic paradigms, he switched from the phenomenological language to a phenomenology of language. By continuing the question the relevance of the thesis of a phenomenology of language in the “Tractatus” author’s philosophy, a detour by “the history” of the phenomenology of the language has become indispensable to encircle its sense and bound its outlines.

In the analytical section there is description of the procedures of the current valuation, accounting and stocktaking according to current internal guideline. The practical part of the thesis is a draft amendment to the current directive, which describes the valuation of inventories from own operations and booking from the year 2016 so that the company has fulfilled the requirements of the valid legislation on the true and fair view of its assets.

Consequently, the sector’s production was reduced by PEN 1,200,000 while demand remained flat. Thus, this article proposes a production control model using 5S, Single-Minute Exchange of Dies, and tools such as Kanban and Constant Work-in-Progress (CONWIP) to increase the productivity of a sand casting line in a Peruvian metalworking enterprise that manufactures parts for mining on request. The improvement proposal involves the implementation of lean manufacturing tools and analyzes low productivity effects. The problems identified are typical of the Peruvian metalworking sector; thus, this study may contribute to finding possible solutions for issues faced by other enterprises. / Revisión por pares

Marguerite Duras a assurément pensé à la littérature en se mesurant sans cesse à sa production littéraire et plus amplement, à sa production artistique. Littérature, cinéma, théâtre font en effet l’objet d’une réflexion constante chez l’écrivain qui montre par là une tendance certaine pour la pensée théorique. Si Marguerite Duras a pu s’exprimer négativement vis-à-vis de la théorie, c’est parce qu’elle redoute les dérives de l’esprit théorique qui peut parfois se révéler dogmatique. L’adhésion à l’idéologie du PCF d’abord partagée puis contestée, fait ainsi l’objet de sévères critiques qui donneront raison dans son œuvre à des textes littéraires traversés par cette épreuve du théorique doctrinaire. D’autres engagements théoriques et politiques prouveront en revanche incontestablement l’attrait intellectuel de l’écrivain envers une époque qui, entre les années 1960 et 1980, fait avancer le discours de la théorie et notamment de la modernité littéraire. Cette thèse se propose de montrer que la théorie occupe sans cesse l’esprit de l’auteur, qu’elle se révèle particulièrement sous la forme d’une tentation à laquelle l’écrivain ne succombe jamais définitivement, et qui donc revient comme une obsession habiter et interroger son œuvre. Cette tentation s’intègre d’abord à la vie de Duras qui évolue au sein d’une génération fortement politisée et marquée par la pensée critique. Elle saura ensuite s’incorporer à l’activité créatrice de l’auteur et, dès lors, à sa pratique littéraire et artistique. La tentation du théorique suit ainsi deux directions. Elle passe par une aventure publique, sans pour autant jamais témoigner d’une voix chorale désireuse de se joindre notamment aux nouvelles tendances du Nouveau Roman. Elle se manifestera plutôt comme une voix solitaire, une voix qui s’exprime à travers la confidence privée. Cette voix murmure dans son œuvre ses critères conceptuels personnels qui accompagneront néanmoins la modernité littéraire. La voix de la tentation théorique se confondra enfin à la voix poétique de l’auteur qui révélera, à travers un jeu réflexif, la force productive de son écriture. Vouée sans cesse à faire résonner le mouvement du dernier mot, dépassant les cloisons génériques, la puissance créatrice prodigieuse de Marguerite Duras ira nourrir le paysage à plusieurs facettes de son œuvre ainsi que celui de l’Ecriture moderne. / For sure Marguerite Duras always thought about literature by comparing herself to the rest of literature and the artistic production of her time. Indeed, literature, cinema and theater are the reflexive centers of a constant thinking which shows how much theory is a main issue for the writer herself. Her apparent and negative odds against theory in general are all because of the wanderings of the dogmatic way of the theoretical spirit. Being an active member of the French Communist Party (PCF), sharing its ideological point of view and then quitting it made way for a severe criticism and gave to her literary works a doctrinal trial. Others theoretical and political commitments may decidedly show in contrast her intellectual attraction of the writer for her age which, between the 1960s and the 1980s, made theory and literary modernity look forward. This essay will show how theory is always on Duras’s Mind as it is for her such a temptation that she never totally succumbs to, and that came back as an obsession to haunt and question her works. This temptation marks at first place her life that went through a harsh political generation that also dealt with criticism and thinking. This temptation would also be an important part of her creativity process and made her way unto literary and artistic technicals. The Theoretical temptation she dealt with went on two different ways. She went on a public adventure but without never belonging to the chorus of her times or explicitly belonging to the New Novel too. She stood as a solitary voice, a voice of her that expressed herself as a intimate confidence. This voice whispered in her writings her personal and conceptual thoughts that escorted modernity in literature. Her voice made of theoretical temptation would mingle at last with her poetical voice which reveals, through a reflexive game, the productive strengh of her writing. Vowed to a never-ending movment unto the last word, beyond the walls of all genres, the tremendous creativity of Marguerite Duras will give birth to a mesmerizing landscape in her works that goes unto the modern writing.

The diploma thesis titled ``Stock recording and related problems in a selected company dealing with food production{\crq}q analyses the recording, pricing and accounting of stock. The first part of the thesis defines stock and deals with the stock pricing and posting, stocktaking process, mistakes in the stock recording and posting, which can occur in the practice, and it also compares selected sections of stock recording with the International Accounting Standards (IAS/IFRS). The second part of the thesis deals with a particular company and describes its accounting processes. Its stock circulation is demonstrated with a selected sample of purchased goods (material) and a product. The final part of the thesis identifies existing and possible problems related to the stock recording in the company and proposes possible solutions.
