D'improbables ouvriers ? The poitevins workers in industry, between dissolution and reorganization of collectivesAunis, Émilie 16 May 2014 (has links)
The industrial workers - widely studied by sociology then gradually abandoned in favor of other categories of wage labor - deserve that we look at them again. On the one hand because the transformations of the industrial world and recurrent factory closings have an impact on the ways of being at work. On the other hand, because they have long been observed in industrial bastions. But the Poitiers conurbation has the specificity to be largely under- industrialized. The singularity of Poitiers workers deserves to be raised in terms of the appreciation of the work and in terms of collective action. The research focused on four factories locally based : Michelin, Sagem, Saft, Schneider Electric. The factory is a workplace which plays a part in socialization, she build ways of being and doing of his workers so being a worker at Michelin is not quite the same as to be a worker at Schneider, the Saft or Sagem. here are other dividing lines : weakening collective in terms of changes in the organization of work, generational cleavages, differentiated labor and employment concerns. The erosion of collective has the effect of making mobilizations improbable. Yet they emerge here and there, taking different forms in different contexts. And it really seems that the growing context of insecurity can against all expectations revive mobilizations in specific configurations. Is the worker of Poitiers a protest worker or an ordinary employee ?

Peut-on compenser des conditions de travail contraignantes ? : Une analyse à travers le modèle exigences/ressources / Can we buffering working conditions? : An analysis through the job demands/resources modelSilveri, Federica 15 November 2017 (has links)
At the workplace, individuals face many challenges. Usually these difficulties are caused by poor working conditions that generate the phenomena of psychosocial risks factors (PRF), which can harm the health of employees. In management sciences, an increasing interest has set to PRF, particularly because they also have an impact on the performance and on the longevity of the company. The human resource management (HRM) policies and practices are made by companies to deal with these risks, but an effective approach is not yet achieved. According to the job demands / resources model (Demerouti et al., 2001), there are better working conditions (resources) that have the potential to buffer demands which causes PRF. Resources are the subject of this thesis.Precisely, this thesis questions the employees’ representations resources that have the greatest potential to buffer harmful working conditions. At the same time, we make the assumption that these resources are also able to influence the longevity of the firm, through employee loyalty. We conducted a case study within an agri-food group, which controls two industrial establishments which inherited their organizational culture before joining this group. Our results show that employees identify four resources (autonomy at work, task variety, good social climate and superiors support) that have more potential than others to buffer dangerous working conditions. Moreover, these resources are equally quoted in relation to gender, occupation, and industrial site. Furthermore, it appears that the same resources are also able to influence employees intention to remain in the group. However, it is not always the HRM practices that create these resources, but rather the values that are linked to the firm culture, before the merger.Beyond the contribution to the job demands / resources model, our research also aims to contribute to the managers' awareness of the value of certain resources to implement better working conditions and management strategies of longevity.

Span of Control’s Significance for Public Sector Employees’ Working Conditions and Well-BeingLindmark, Tomas January 2018 (has links)
The reforms in the public sector, as consequence of New Public Management, have led to flattened organizational structure, increasing the span of control(SOC) width for managers. The aim of the study was to investigate the association between SOC width, working conditions (job demands, job resources and engaged leadership), employee health and engagement. SOC was measured as predictor for employee health and engagement, where mediation of working conditions effect on the relation was examined. Self-administrated surveys were collected from 1551 employees working under 109 managers in four public sector municipal operations in Sweden. The result displayed that it was unfavorable to have managers with a wide SOC for the employees working conditions, engagement and health. SOC was a significant predictor for health, while mediation of working conditions could not account for the relationship. These results indicate that a narrow SOC may improve working conditions and health outcomes for employees.

El Teletrabajo en el Perú: Comentarios al Nuevo Marco Normativo / El Teletrabajo en el Perú: Comentarios al Nuevo Marco NormativoRamirez Punchin, Eddy Hills, Chuquillanqui Aragón, Oscar Raúl 10 April 2018 (has links)
This article analyzes the regulatory framework of teleworking. In that sense, we approach different definitions to finally establish the definition and formalities required according to our legislation. We will reflect about the problems that telework pretends to solve, so we can establish then if we have the minimum standards that allows the use according to our labor rights or whether there is a poor regulation in relation to safety and health at work and labor inspections, for that reason we propose some alternatives solutions for above mentioned deficiencies.

Sestra jako představitelka zdravého životního stylu / Nurse as a representative of a healthy lifestyleSOUKUPOVÁ, Marie January 2017 (has links)
The thesis entitled Nurse as a representative of a healthy lifestyle consists of two main parts, one theoretical and one practical. The theoretical part consists of theoretical knowledge of the nurses´ lifestyle coming from their profession, topics related to the personality of general nurses, nurses´ lifestyle and mental hygiene. The practical part of the thesis is a quantitative research, which is based on responds of 193 nurses in a questionnaire survey about the impact of education on adherence on a healthy lifestyle. Research shows that most nurses know well the factors of a healthy life style which they could potentially have influence on, however they are not able to apply this knowledge to their life style. Education on correct healthy lifestyle and length of practice has no impact on nurses´ healthy lifestyle and their families. Discussion and conclusion summarize the research results.
