En el Cinturón Hortícola de La Plata (provincia de Buenos Aires), el cultivo de tomate constituye una de las actividades productivas más importantes, tanto en invernáculo como al aire libre. La “polilla del tomate” Tuta absoluta (Meyrick) (Lepidoptera, Gelechiidae), de origen Neotropical, es la plaga clave del cultivo de tomate en esta región. El control de este insecto se lleva a cabo casi exclusivamente utilizando plaguicidas, lo que trae aparejado toxicidad sobre la salud humana y el ambiente, y efectos negativos sobre los enemigos naturales, con la consecuente disminución del control natural de la plaga. Por estas razones, se necesita explorar enfoques para el manejo basados en principios ecológicos. Entre los endoparasitoides larvales que atacan a T. absoluta en la provincia de Buenos Aires, Pseudapanteles dignus (Muesebeck) (Hymenoptera, Braconidae) es el dominante. Es un endoparasitoide de distribución Neártica y Neotropical, solitario y koinobionte. El conocimiento existente sobre la interacción entre este parasitoide con T. absoluta no es aún suficiente para concluir si el mismo constituye un buen agente de control biológico. La hipótesis central de este trabajo es que el parasitoide P. dignus posee atributos de su historia de vida y parámetros demográficos que le confieren potencialidad para controlar a la plaga T. absoluta, en tomate. El objetivo general fue estudiar aspectos fundamentales de las estrategias de su historia de vida y de su demografía, a campo y en laboratorio, con el fin de aportar bases más sólidas para evaluar su viabilidad en el Control Biológico. Se plantearon los siguientes objetivos parciales: 1) Determinar el potencial de crecimiento poblacional de P. dignus sobre el hospedador T. absoluta, a través de la estimación de parámetros poblacionales en laboratorio, 2) Evaluar el efecto del parasitismo en hospedadores de diferente edad (L1-L2 y L3-L4) de T. absoluta sobre la fecundidad y supervivencia de la hembra de P. dignus, 3) Determinar la estrategia de oviposición (Pro-ovigénica – Sinovigénica) de P. dignus sobre T. absoluta 4) Evaluar la existencia de superparasitismo, 5) Estimar el impacto de P. dignus sobre poblaciones de T. absoluta, en condiciones de campo.

The purpose of this thesis has been to compare the grades regarding conduct, diligence, history and Christianity in Swedish schools in the early 20th century. The purpose has also been to investigate the differences in grades between a regular school and a school for maladjusted boys. The materials I have used are grade ledgers from the archives in Kalmar and Vadstena. I have assumed two different perspectives; Michel Foucault’s ”The normalized sanction” and Donald Broady’s ”The hidden curriculum”. These perspectives have highlighted the use of grades as punishments and rewards, and the schools expectations on the pupils. The method and approach I have been using is comparative method as an aim to compare the schools and grades. My analysis has come to the conclusion that the grades in conduct and diligence had no effect on the grades in history and Christianity. The pupils at the regular school showed signs to have lower grades compared to the pupils at the school for maladjusted boys. I could not see any change over time, however, it was more common for the pupils in sixth grade to have better grades in the subjects compared to the pupils in the lower grades.

The colorectal cancer (CRC) is the third most common malignancy in the world and in Brazil, the fifth most diagnosed and the third cause of cancer deaths. The detection of molecular markers in peripheral blood applies to the early diagnosis of cancer, before and after surgery, reducing the time of identification of CCR and improving the treatment, it is less invasive and reducing costs. This work is quantified by Real Time PCR in absolute and direct, free of DNA fragments found in the serum of patients with colorectal cancer, thereby determining values that characterize the condition of carrier of tumor. For this, a method was developed in which the measurement used as reference samples of the actual fragments ALU115 and ALU247 purified and quantified. We studied 3 major groups: Control, with healthy volunteers; surgery, patients who have already been submitted to surgical removal of colorectal tumor and non-surgery, patients who have not removed the tumor through surgery. Observing the results we note that the groups differ mainly by the values of quantification ALU247. For the control group, the limits were between 91 fentogramas and 1.55 picograms. The non operated group had amounts ranging from 8.02pg to 23.54pg and the group operators, 80fg to 5.95pg. In contrary, the results presented by quantification ALU115 did not set limits defined capable of differentiating at least one of the groups. The control group presented as limits 2pg and 69.45pg and the non operated group, 9.71pg and and 381.56pg, the group operated, 10.69pg and 196.85pg. The non operated group showed a mean significant when compared to the other two groups, but showed minor differences in the quantification ALU247 (14.62 ± 4.73 pg - p <0.05). It could be concluded that direct measurement, using reference concentrations of the fragments themselves ALU115 and ALU247 is a simple methodology, low cost and with reliable results. Moreover, the quantification ALU247 is able to identify the condition of carrier of tumor. / Fundação de Amparo a Pesquisa do Estado de Alagoas / O câncer colorretal (CCR) é a terceira neoplasia maligna mais frequente no mundo, sendo no Brasil a quinta mais diagnosticada e a terceira causa de morte por câncer. A detecção de marcadores moleculares no sangue periférico aplica-se ao diagnóstico precoce de neoplasias, antes e após procedimento cirúrgico, diminuindo assim o tempo de identificação do CCR e melhorando o tratamento, que se torna menos invasivo e diminuindo os custos. O objetivo deste trabalho é quantificar, através da PCR em Tempo Real de forma absoluta e direta, os fragmentos de DNA Livre encontrados no soro de pacientes com câncer colorretal, determinando assim valores que caracterizam a condição de portador de tumor. Para isso, foi desenvolvido um método em que a quantificação utiliza como amostras de referências os próprios fragmentos ALU115 e ALU247 purificados e quantificados. Foram estudados 3 grandes grupos: Controle, com voluntários saudáveis; Operados, pacientes que já se submeteram à cirurgia para retirada de tumor colorretal; e Não-Operados, pacientes que ainda não retiraram o tumor através de cirurgia. Observando os resultados podemos notar que os grupos se diferenciam principalmente através dos valores da quantificação ALU247. Para o grupo Controle, os limites ficaram entre 91 fentogramas e 1,55 picogramas. O grupo Não-Operados apresentou quantidades que vão de 8,02pg a 23,54pg e, o grupo Operados, de 80fg a 5,95 pg. De forma contrária, os resultados apresentados pela quantificação ALU115 não permitiram estabelecer limites definidos capazes de diferenciar pelo menos um dos grupos. O grupo Controle apresentou como limites 2pg e 69,45pg; o grupo Não-Operados, 9,71pg e 381,56pg e; o grupo Operados, 10,69pg e 196,85pg. O grupo Não-Operados apresentou uma média significativa quando comparado aos outros dois grupos, porém apresentou menor heterogeneidade na quantificação ALU247 (14,62pg ± 4,73 - p<0,05). Foi possível concluir que a quantificação direta, utilizando como concentrações de referência os próprios fragmentos ALU115 e ALU247, mostrou-se uma metodologia simples, de baixo custo e com resultados confiáveis. Além disso, a quantificação ALU247 é capaz de identificar a condição de portador de tumor.

Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / Esta dissertação apresenta um princípio de teorização acerca do Teatro da Encarnação, uma prática artística e missionária desenvolvida pelo autor em seu la- bor pastoral, e sua relação com a teologia da Missão Integral. Sob a visão de uma dupla encarnação na figura do boneco, o Teatro da Encarnação é uma manifestação corporeificada do lúdico infantil, onde o adulto e a criança transformam-se em seres que dialogam num espaço de significados compartilhados. Como esse teatro encar- nado é uma apropriação missionária do teatro de animação, sendo uma manifesta- ção artística que mantém enorme semelhança com o ato de brincar, o abordaremos inicialmente como técnica, falando do ator, do boneco e da criança, a partir do en- contro do mundo concreto do adulto com a hermenêutica lúdico-sincrética da crian- ça. E posteriormente, a partir da filosofia da Vida de Michel Henry e da teologia da Missão Integral, o abordaremos como um potente meio de apreensão dos saberes próprios da Vida, que, em sua auto-doação a nós, constrói um universo simbólico rico em experiências, onde ambos podem ver-se como seres nascidos na vida, num espaço kenótico de múltiplas possibilidades de interação e transformação. / This dissertation presents an introduction to the theorization on the Incarna- tion Theater, an artistic and missionary practice developed by the author in his pasto- ral labor, and its relation with the theology of Integral Mission. Under the notion of a double incarnation by the puppet, the Incarnation Theater is a bodily manifestation of children's ludic or playful behavior, where the adult and the child become beings who dialogue in a space of shared meanings. As this incarnated theater is a missionary appropriation of animated theater, and as an artistic manifestation has great similari- ties with the act of playing, we will approach it initially as a technique, speaking of the actor, the puppet and the child, starting from the encounter of the concrete world of the adult with the ludic-syncretic one of the child. After, starting from the Philosophy of Life of Michael Henry and the Integral Mission theology, we will approach it as a powerful means of apprehension of knowledges of life itself, which, in its self-giving to us, builds a symbolic universe rich in experiences, where both adult and child can see themselves as life-borne, in a kenotic space of multiple possibilities of interaction and transformation.

The basic principles of relative and absolute chronology are presented in this introduction as they form the foundation upon which the collection of papers, published in the present and subsequent issue of the Bulletin, base their chronological and cultural schemes. The goal here is to compare and contrast these principles with common misunderstandings and misuses. The need for empirical data for the construction of chronological sequences is stressed in order to place them within a single periodification scheme. Another topic of concern is a coherent terminology rather than the use of different terms with different meanings. Lastly, the papers in these two issues are focused on "The Formative Period: Recent Approaches and Evidence". / En esta introducción se presentan los principios de la cronología relativa y absoluta, ya que estos forman la base para el conjunto de trabajos reunidos en este y el siguiente número del Boletín, con el propósito de señalar malentendidos y usos poco precisados heredados de antaño. Se enfatiza la necesidad de exponer los datos empíricos en la construcción de las cronologías y secuencias para insertarlas en un sistema de periodización general. Parte de esta discusión es, también, la terminología, que debería destacarse por su coherencia en vez de que se cuente con opciones más o menos libres de expresiones con significados diversos. Por último, se presentan los trabajos incluidos en los dos números dedicados al tema "El Periodo Formativo: enfoques y evidencias recientes".

However, when we read the poem Works and Days, we find a discourse that seeks to ground human action in an absolute conception of justice. And precisely because of this, it provides an important background for the construction of the conception of justice present in the Republic. Hence, this dissertation intends to establish parallelisms between the conception of justice of the poet Hesiod and the one Plato presents in the Republic with the objective of determining if, in fact, the poet's conception is so opposed to that of the philosopher as he presents it in the mentioned dialogue. / Nos livros II e III da República, Platão examina os métodos dos poetas e seus efeitos diante do público e ao fazê-lo conclui que não são compatíveis com seu objetivo educacional, pois se opõem à sua concepção ética e ao seu projeto político. No entanto, quando fazemos uma leitura do poema Os trabalhos e os dias, encontramos um discurso que procura fundamentar a ação humana numa concepção absoluta de justiça. E justamente por isso, fornece um importante pano de fundo para a construção da concepção de justiça presente na República. Em virtude disso, esta dissertação pretende estabelecer os paralelismos entre a concepção de justiça do poeta Hesíodo e a que Platão apresenta na República com o objetivo de determinar se efetivamente a concepção do poeta é tão oposta à do filósofo como ele a apresenta no mencionado diálogo.

nÃo hà / O presente trabalho tem como objetivo analisar a execuÃÃo da lei de estupro de vulnerÃveis e da atenÃÃo integral à saÃde de adolescentes e jovens. Este estudo foi analisado sob a Ãtica dos profissionais da saÃde, em uma maternidade de referÃncia, verificando o que a lei 12.015, de 07 de agosto de 2009, trouxe de novo. NÃo sà para a sociedade em geral (atravÃs da mudanÃa comportamental, diante do diploma jurÃdico, instituÃdo pela mesma), mas com objetivo de apresentar uma reflexÃo acerca da vulnerabilidade retratada no artigo 217-a, caput, do CÃdigo Penal Brasileiro. Assim, foi realizada uma breve discussÃo sobre a presunÃÃo relativa e absoluta do dispositivo, bem como foram apontadas direÃÃes que levaram tal discussÃo a uma compreensÃo da relativizaÃÃo, por alguns doutrinadores, da vulnerabilidade da vÃtima maior de 12 e menor de 14 anos. A pesquisa teve como enfoque os profissionais da Ãrea da saÃde, que lidam com adolescentes com o perfil acima mencionado, em uma maternidade pÃblica de Fortaleza. Trabalhamos com a pesquisa descritiva por entendermos que, em suas diversas formas, a mesma atua sobre dados ou fatos colhidos da prÃpria realidade, nÃo interferindo nos mesmos. Para a operaÃÃo de coleta utilizou-se como principal instrumento a aplicaÃÃo de entrevistas semiestruturada, com perguntas direcionadas ao objeto de estudo, que nos ajudaram a conhecer a opiniÃo dos pesquisados, seus pensamentos e sentimentos. Os objetivos especÃficos desse estudo foram: verificar a compreensÃo dos profissionais sobre a PolÃtica de AtenÃÃo Integral à SaÃde dos adolescentes e jovens e a lei de estupro de vulnerÃvel; identificar como a equipe multiprofissional compreende o dispositivo penal que versa sobre estupro de vulnerÃveis; verificar possÃveis conflitos enfrentados pelos profissionais para o cumprimento da lei; identificar fluxos e encaminhamentos da instituiÃÃo para o cumprimento do dispositivo penal. Como resultado do nosso trabalho constatamos ser necessÃrio um urgente alerta para se criar meios eficientes e especÃficos de atendimento Ãs jovens grÃvidas, de forma integral, abordando aspectos fÃsicos, psicolÃgicos e sociais, envolvendo e dando suporte Ãs famÃlias, de forma a amenizar os impactos e as pressÃes causadas por essa nova situaÃÃo, garantindo à jovem o direito de ter sua sexualidade garantida, tranquila e saudÃvel

Este trabalho expõe uma investigação sobre a concepção de interioridade absoluta [absolute Innerlichkeit] apresentada nos Cursos de estética de Hegel. Tal fenômeno surge com o advento do Cristianismo e determina toda a Forma de arte romântica, partindo de um conteúdo marcado pela interioridade religiosa (o ideal do amor) e alcançando particularmente um sentido mais forte e mundano no contexto da chamada arte moderna, cujo desenvolvimento deve ser observado tanto do ponto de vista histórico quanto lógicocategorial. Também interessa verificar em quais formas e fenômenos artísticos o filósofo identifica a presença desse princípio, cujo desdobramento se encaminha para o tema do fim da arte em Hegel, à medida que a interioridade sai do campo sensível e passa para o racional na modernidade. Nesse caso, ressalta-se o tema da subjetividade moderna e da liberdade nas obras de Shakespeare (no campo da poesia) e na pintura holandesa (no campo da pintura), expressões artísticas que constituem momentos decisivos. / This work exposes an investigation about the conception of absolute interiority [absolute Innerlichkeit] presented in Hegels Aesthetic Courses. This phenomenon arises with the advent of Christianity and determines the whole Romantic Art Form, starting from a content marked by religious inwardness (the ideal of love) and achieving particularly a more stronger and mundane sense in the context of the so-called modern art, whose development must be observed from both a historical and a logical-categorical point of view. It is also important to verify in which forms and artistic phenomena the philosopher identifies the presence of this principle whose unfolding is directed towards the theme of the end of art in Hegel, as the interiority leaves the sensitive field and passes to the rational in the modernity. In this case, it is emphasized the themes of modern subjectivity and freedom in the works of Shakespeare (in the field of poetry) and in Dutch painting (in the field of painting), artistic expressions that constitute decisive moments.

As bactérias Gram-negativas utilizam acil-homosserina lactonas (acil-HSLs) como principais substâncias sinalizadoras. Na presente tese, relatamos a determinação da configuração absoluta do raro metabólito (S)-(-)-N-heptanoil-HSL produzida pela bactéria fitopatogênica Pantoea ananatis. A configuração absoluta desta substância foi determinada através da técnica de cromatografia gasosa com detecção por ionização em chama com coluna quiral, através de comparações de tempo de retenção e co-injeção com padrões sintetizados. Avaliou-se também a importância da configuração absoluta para a atividade antimicrobiana de acil-HSLs contra bactérias Gram-positivas (Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus cereus e Staphylococcus aureus). Curiosamente, o enantiômero não natural (R)-N-3-oxo-octanoil-HSL foi tão ativo quanto o produto natural (S). Estudou-se também as interações da (S)-N-3-oxo-octanoil-HSL com células de Agrobacterium tumefaciens NTL4(pZLR4) através da técnica de ressonância magnética nuclear de hidrogênio por diferença de transferência de saturação (STD-RMN), revelando que o primeiro evento de interação da substância com a célula ocorre com a região lipídica da membrana celular externa. Finalmente, realizou-se o estudo químico das substâncias sinalizadoras produzidas pela bactéria Methylobacterium mesophilicum, que ocorre simbioticamente com a bactéria Xylella fastidiosa nos vasos condutores de laranjeiras atacadas pela clorose variegada dos citros. Entre os vários resultados inéditos, reportamos a caracterização e síntese do produto natural inédito (S)-N-(2E)-dodecenoil-HSL e a primeira síntese do metabólito (S)-N-(2E, 7Z)-tetradecadienil-HSL. Outrossim, reportamos a primeira caracterização da configuração absoluta de cinco acil-HSLs naturais de cadeia longa. Realizou-se também estudos relacionados aos efeitos das acil-HSLs sintéticas contra bactérias Gram-positivas endofíticas da laranjeira. Adicionalmente, caracterizou-se a secreção de defesa do opilião Hoplobunus mexicanus. O repertório de defesa deste animal é composto por dois componentes voláteis de alta irritabilidade (2,5-dimetil-fenol e 2-metil-5-etil-fenol), além da tanatose e emissão de sons, uma característica inédita em opiliões / Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria use quorum sensing communication circuits to regulate a diverse array of physiological activities. In general, Gram-negative bacteria use acylated homoserine lactones (acyl-HSLs) as autoinducers, and Gram-positive bacteria use processed oligo-peptides. In the present work, we relate the absolute configuration determination of the rare metabolite (S)-(-)-N-heptanoyl-HSL produced by the phytopathogen Pantoea ananatis. The absolute configuration was determined by gas chromatography coupled to flame ionization detection with chiral column, through retention time comparison and co-injections with synthetic products. The importance of the absolute configuration for the antimicrobial activity of acyl-HSL against Gram-positive bacteria (Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus cereus and Staphylococcus aureus) was assessed. Curiously, non-natural (R)-N-3-oxo-octanoyl-HSL was as active as the natural product with (S) absolute configuration. The interaction of (S)-N-3-oxo-octanoil-HSL with Agrobacterium tumefaciens NTL4(pZLR4) cells was further studied using hydrogen nuclear magnetic resonance experiments with saturation transfer difference (STD-NMR) revealing that the first binding event is the diffusion through the lipidic part of the outer membrane. Finally, we have investigated the chemical study of the signaling substances produced by Methylobacterium mesophilicum, which co-occurs with Xylella fastidiosa in orange trees affected by the citrus variegated chlorosis disease. Among several results, we report herein the characterization and synthesis of a new natural product [(S)-N-(2E)-dodecenoyl-HSL], the first synthetic procedure for the rare (S)-N-(2E,7Z)-tetradecadienyl-HSL and the occurrence of a rare long, odd chain representative (N-tridecanoyl-HSL) in trace amounts. We report the first absolute configuration determination for five natural acyl-HSLs. We have also studied the effects of synthetic acyl-HSLs on Gram positive bacteria isolated from orange tissues. Additionally, the defensive secretion produced by the harvestman Hoplobunus mexicanus was characterized.
