Cette thèse s'inscrit dans le cadre du traitement automatique du langage naturel, et traite plus précisément de l'alignement sous-phrastique bilingue classiquement lié à la traduction automatique statistique. Les travaux exposés s'en distinguent en proposant un fonctionnement évolutif à base d'exemples initialisé par des annotateurs non-experts via une interface adaptée. L'approche est principalement motivée par la recherche d'une expressivité comparable à celle observée dans les alignements manuels. Une partie importante de ce travail consiste à définir un cadre formel sous-tendant une architecture originale à base d'exemples alignés. Plusieurs mémoires d'alignements ont été constituées en tirant parti d'informations provenant d'analyseurs syntaxiques automatiques, en plaçant les prérequis technologiques à un niveau raisonnablement peu élevé. Deux nouvelles méthodes d'alignement sont comparées à des références connues via des mesures d'accord classiques, et trois distances transformationnelles sont introduites.

Dans le travail coopératif les experts sont amenés à utiliser des ressources sémantiques. Ces ressources sont en général représentées à l'aide de concepts et de relations et peuvent être modélisées sous forme d'ontologies. Chaque expert dans un domaine d'application utilise fréquemment une ou plusieurs ressources sémantiques et peut également avoir accès à d'autres ressources sémantiques mises à disposition par ses partenaires. Ces ressources sont hétérogènes entre elles à différents niveaux ce qui rend difficile l'interopérabilité syntaxique, structurelle et sémantique. Ce travail de thèse met l'accent sur l'interopérabilité sémantique des ressources sémantiques. Nous proposons une méthodologie semi-automatique pour aider à la découverte de correspondances sémantiques entre concepts de ressources sémantiques différentes. Pour réaliser ce travail, nous transformons ces ressources sémantiques en OWL-DL, afin d'utiliser les services de moteurs d'inférences fondés sur les logiques de description. Nous proposons aussi un procédé pour créer des équivalences entre relations de ressources sémantiques différentes, appelé unification de relations, et qui vise à découvrir d'autres correspondances sémantiques. Les résultats de ce travail ont été testés à l'aide d'un prototype. L'application a été réalisée avec des ressources sémantiques issues du secteur européen de la construction. Pour aider à l'évaluation des correspondances sémantiques, nous proposons aussi une modélisation des connaissances du domaine à l'aide de la logique floue.

Qualitative calculi with heterogeneous universes / Calculs qualitatifs avec des univers hétérogènesInants, Armen 25 April 2016 (has links)
Représentation et raisonnement qualitatifs fonctionnent avec des relations non-numériques entre les objets d'un univers. Les formalismes généraux développés dans ce domaine sont basés sur différents types d'algèbres de relations, comme les algèbres de Tarski. Tous ces formalismes, qui sont appelés des calculs qualitatifs, partagent l'hypothèse implicite que l'univers est homogène, c'est-à-dire qu'il se compose d'objets de même nature. Toutefois, les objets de différents types peuvent aussi entretenir des relations. L'état de l'art du raisonnement qualitatif ne permet pas de combiner les calculs qualitatifs pour les différents types d'objets en un seul calcul.De nombreuses applications discriminent entre différents types d'objets. Par exemple, certains modèles spatiaux discriminent entre les régions, les lignes et les points, et différentes relations sont utilisées pour chaque type d'objets. Dans l'alignement d'ontologies, les calculs qualitatifs sont utiles pour exprimer des alignements entre un seul type d'entités, telles que des concepts ou des individus. Cependant, les relations entre les individus et les concepts, qui imposent des contraintes supplémentaires, ne sont pas exploitées.Cette thèse introduit la modularité dans les calculs qualitatifs et fournit une méthodologie pour la modélisation de calculs qualitatifs des univers hétérogènes. Notre contribution principale est un cadre basé sur une classe spéciale de schémas de partition que nous appelons modulaires. Pour un calcul qualitatif engendré par un schéma de partition modulaire, nous définissons une structure qui associe chaque symbole de relation avec un domaine et codomain abstrait à partir d'un treillis booléen de sortes. Un module d'un tel calcul qualitatif est un sous-calcul limité à une sorte donnée, qui est obtenu par une opération appelée relativisation à une sorte. D'un intérêt pratique plus grand est l'opération inverse, qui permet de combiner plusieurs calculs qualitatifs en un seul calcul. Nous définissons une opération appelée combinaison modulo liaison, qui combine deux ou plusieurs calculs qualitatifs sur différents univers, en fonction de quelques relations de liaison entre ces univers. Le cadre est suffisamment général pour soutenir la plupart des calculs spatio-temporels qualitatifs connus. / Qualitative representation and reasoning operate with non-numerical relations holding between objects of some universe. The general formalisms developed in this field are based on various kinds of algebras of relations, such as Tarskian relation algebras. All these formalisms, which are called qualitative calculi, share an implicit assumption that the universe is homogeneous, i.e., consists of objects of the same kind. However, objects of different kinds may also entertain relations. The state of the art of qualitative reasoning does not offer a combination operation of qualitative calculi for different kinds of objects into a single calculus.Many applications discriminate between different kinds of objects. For example, some spatial models discriminate between regions, lines and points, and different relations are used for each kind of objects. In ontology matching, qualitative calculi were shown useful for expressing alignments between only one kind of entities, such as concepts or individuals. However, relations between individuals and concepts, which impose additional constraints, are not exploited.This dissertation introduces modularity in qualitative calculi and provides a methodology for modeling qualitative calculi with heterogeneous universes. Our central contribution is a framework based on a special class of partition schemes which we call modular. For a qualitative calculus generated by a modular partition scheme, we define a structure that associates each relation symbol with an abstract domain and codomain from a Boolean lattice of sorts. A module of such a qualitative calculus is a sub-calculus restricted to a given sort, which is obtained through an operation called relativization to a sort. Of a greater practical interest is the opposite operation, which allows for combining several qualitative calculi into a single calculus. We define an operation called combination modulo glue, which combines two or more qualitative calculi over different universes, provided some glue relations between these universes. The framework is general enough to support most known qualitative spatio-temporal calculi.

Suivi volumétrique de formes 3D non rigides / Volumetric tracking of 3D deformable shapesAllain, Benjamin 31 March 2017 (has links)
Dans cette thèse nous proposons des algorithmes pour le suivi 3D du mouvement des objects déformables à partir de plusieurs caméras vidéo. Bien qu’une suite de reconstructions tridimensionnelles peut être obtenue par des méthodes de reconstruction statique, celle-ci ne représente pas le mouvement. Nous voulons produire une représentation temporellement cohérente de la suite de formes prises par l’object. Précisément, nous souhaitons représenter l’objet par une surface maillée 3D dont les sommets se déplacent au cours du temps mais dont la topologie reste identique.Contrairement à beaucoup d’approches existantes, nous proposons de représenter le mouvement du volume intérieur des formes, dans le but de mieux représenter la nature volumétrique des objets. Nous traitons de manière volumétrique les problèmes fondamentaux du suivi déformable que sont l’association d’éléments semblables entre deux formes et la modélisation de la déformation. En particulier, nous adaptons au formes volumétriques les modèles d’association EM-ICP non-rigide ansi que l’association par détection par apprentissage automatique.D’autre part, nous abordons la question de la modélisation de l’évolution temporelle de la déformation au cours d’une séquence dans le but de mieux contraindre le problème du suivi temporel. Pour cela, nous modélisons un espace de forme construit autour de propriétés de déformations locales que nous apprenons automatiqument lors du suivi.Nous validons nos algorithmes de suivi sur des séquences vidéo multi-caméras avec vérité terrain (silhouettes et suivi par marqueurs). Nos résultats se révèlent meilleurs ou équivalents à ceux obtenus avec les méthodes de l’état de l’art.Enfin, nous démontrons que le suivi volumétrique et la représentation que nous avons choisie permettent de produire des animations 3D qui combinent l’acquisition et la simulation de mouvement. / In this thesis we propose algorithms for tracking 3D deformable shapes in motion from multiview video. Although series of reconstructed 3D shapes can be obtained by applying a static reconstruction algorithm to each temporal frame independently, such series do not represent motion. Instead, we want to provide a temporally coherent representation of the sequence of shapes resulting from temporal evolutions of a shape. Precisely, we want to represent the observed shape sequence as a 3D surface mesh whose vertices move in time but whose topology is constant.In contrast with most existing approaches, we propose to represent the motion of inner shape volumes, with the aim of better accounting for the volumetric nature of the observed object. We provide a fully volumetric approach to the fundamental problems of deformable shape tracking, which are the association between corresponding shape elements and the deformation model. In particular, we extend to a volumetric shape representation the EM-ICP tracking framework and the association-by-detection strategy.Furthermore, in order to better constrain the shape tracking problem, we propose a model for the temporal evolution of deformation. Our deformation model defines a shape space parametrized by variables that capture local deformation properties of the shape and whose values are automatically learned during the tracking process.We validate our tracking algorithms on several multiview video sequences with ground truth (silhouette and marker-based tracking). Our results are better or comparable to state of the art approaches.Finally, we show that volumetric tracking and the shape representation we choose can be leveraged for producing shape animations which combine captured and simulatated motion.

En microélectronique, l'augmentation de la densité des composants est la solution principale pour améliorer la performance des circuits. Ainsi, la taille des structures définies par la lithographie diminue à chaque changement de nœud technologique. A partir du nœud 14 nm, la lithographie optique est confrontée à la limite de résolution pour les niveaux métalliques. Pour surmonter cet obstacle, les niveaux métalliques sont conçus en deux étapes successives de patterning regroupant chacune une étape de lithographie et une étape de gravure. Cette technique, nommée double patterning, requiert une métrologie adaptée car l'alignement entre les deux étapes et les dimensions critiques sont alors directement liées. La méthode de mesure développée dans cette thèse repose sur la scattérométrie et la mesure de l'alignement par diffraction. Un code de simulation a permis d'optimiser la conception des mires de mesure. De plus, la méthode de mesure adoptée a pu être validée expérimentalement. / In microelectronics, the increase of component density is the main solution to improve circuit performance. The size of the patterns defined by lithography is reduced at each change of technology node. From the 14 nm node, optical lithography is facing the resolution limit for metal levels. In order to overcome this hurdle, metal levels are designed in two successive steps of patterning, which is composed of lithography followed by etching. This double patterning technique requires an appropriate metrology since overlay between the two steps and critical dimensions are directly linked. The developed method is based on scatterometry and overlay measurement by diffraction. Using a simulation code, the measurement targets have been designed optimally. Then the adopted method has been validated experimentally.

O alinhamento entre os objetivos de negócio e os objetivos de sistemas de informação exerce papel preponderante no monitoramento do desempenho das empresas, que no cenário atual, altamente competitivo e dinâmico, não podem permitir que seus gestores vacilem quanto às decisões a serem tomadas. Estas decisões estão principalmente baseadas nas informações que estão à disposição das pessoas que decidem. E, se por um lado, o acesso à informação hoje está facilitado devido aos recursos tecnológicos disponíveis, por outro lado, tende a dificultar a escolha das informações que são realmente pertinentes. A despeito da relevância, esta dicotomia muitas vezes leva as empresas a trabalhar com informações baseadas na facilidade de sua obtenção. Neste sentido o alinhamento estratégico entre os objetivos de negócio e os objetivos de sistemas de informação proporciona convergência e reciprocidade entre os rumos que a empresa projeta e o monitoramento das rotas que estão sendo seguidas. Baseados neste conceito, que contempla uma constante revisão, os indicadores que serão utilizados pelos gestores para a avaliação da performance das empresas serão dotados da pertinência necessária para a alteração de rumos programados e para a correção de desvios de rota. Neste contexto está também inserida a indústria da construção civil, que é destacada por seu reconhecido atraso tecnológico, tanto em termos de estrutura como também no tocante à gestão. Contemplando quatro empresas do segmento de construção de edificações comerciais e residenciais, esta pesquisa dá sua contribuição para o desenvolvimento do tema alinhamento estratégico na construção civil, na medida em que, através de um estudo exploratório de casos múltiplos, teve como objetivo identificar o alinhamento entre os objetivos de negócio e os objetivos de sistemas de informação, promovido pelas empresas construtoras de Lajeado (Rio Grande do Sul). Com a utilização de um protocolo de pesquisa baseado em modelos encontrados na literatura, os elementos encontrados em cada empresa foram confrontados entre si e também com àqueles da literatura. Les noms propres sont omniprésents et intéressent, depuis des siècles, philosophes et linguistes. Le travail réalisé ici est une étude contrastive des noms propres en traduction, divisée en quatre parties. Les deux premières parties sont théoriques. La première partie traite de la notion de nom propre en linguistique anglaise et en linguistique française. La deuxième partie présente les différents procédés de traduction, illustrés par des exemples sur les noms propres. Les deux parties suivantes sont expérimentales. La troisième partie détaille les différentes étapes de la constitution de notre corpus multilingue parallèle aligné et annoté, composé de onze versions du roman de Jules Verne, Le Tour du Monde en quatre-vingts jours, en dix langues européennes. La quatrième partie expose les résultats obtenus suite à l’observation du comportement des noms propres en traduction.Cette étude contredit souvent l’hypothèse largement répandue de leur intraduisibilité. / Proper names are omnipresent and have long held the interest of both philosophers and linguists.Our work, divided into four parts, presents, from a contrastive perspective, the behaviour of proper names in translation.The first two parts are theoretical. Firstly, we give a general presentation of what is a proper name from the point of view of both English and French linguistics. Secondly, we introduce the different translation processes proper nouns can undergo.The last two parts are experimental. We begin by explaining the different phases in the process of constitution of our aligned and annotated multilingual parallel corpus, composed of eleven versions of Jules Verne’s novel, Le Tour du monde en quatre-vingts jours, in ten European languages. We then present the results obtained from the observation of proper names behaviour in translation.These results often contradict the widespread idea regarding proper names untranslatability.

Méthode de mise en correspondance tridimensionnelle entre des coupes IRM de la prostate et les coupes histologiques des pièces de prostatectomie / 3D registration of prostate histology slices with MR imagesHugues, Cécilia 27 May 2013 (has links)
Le cancer de la prostate est le cancer le plus fréquent chez l'homme en Europe, néanmoins il n'existe actuellement pas de technique d'imagerie permettant de détecter avec précision les tumeurs dans la glande. Sachant que les coupes histologiques contiennent la réalité de terrain concernant le diagnostic, il est nécessaire de recaler les images de chaque technique d'imagerie aux coupes histologiques afin de pouvoir les évaluer. De plus, comme il n'existe pas de méthode permettant de contrôler précisément le plan de coupe histologique, le recalage doit être considéré comme un problème 3D. Un dispositif permettant de réaliser, de manière rapide et standardisée, des marqueurs internes dans les coupes histologiques a été développé, de même qu'un algorithme permettant de détecter automatiquement ces marqueurs, de les identifier et d'aligner les coupes histologiques. La méthode a été testée sur 10 prostates, avec en moyenne 19.2 coupes par prostate, et a permis d'obtenir une précision de recalage moyenne de 0.18 ± 0.13 mm au niveau des marqueurs. Un deuxième algorithme a été développé pour recaler les coupes histologiques, une fois alignées, avec les images IRM. Ce recalage a été conçu pour être guidé par les canaux éjaculateurs, un repère anatomique présent dans chaque prostate et visible à la fois en histologie et dans les images IRM cliniques, acquises avec une résolution standard. L'algorithme a d'abord été testé en s'appuyant sur les marqueurs artificiels. La précision obtenue pour le recalage était en moyenne de 0.45±0.25 mm au niveau des marqueurs et de 1.04 ± 0.21 mm au niveau des canaux éjaculateurs. L'algorithme a enfin été testé en guidant le recalage à l'aide de la position des canaux éjaculateurs. La précision moyenne obtenue était alors de 0.16±0.05 mm au niveau des canaux éjaculateurs et de 2.82±0.41 mm au niveau des marqueurs. Ces résultats suggèrent une valeur du facteur de rétrécissement de l'ordre de 1.07±0.03 et une inclinaison vis à vis du plan de coupe histologique de l'ordre de 13.6◦ ± 9.61◦, avec une variance importante pour ces deux paramètres / Prostate cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer of men in Europe, yet no current imaging technique is capable of detecting with precision tumours in the prostate. The histology slices are the gold standard for the diagnosis. Therefore, in order to evaluate each imaging technique, the histology slices must be precisely registered to the imaged data. As it cannot be assumed that the histology slices are cut along the same plane as the imaged data is acquired, the registration must be considered as a 3D problem. An apparatus has been developed that enables internal fiducial markers to be created in the histology slices in a rapid and standardised manner. An algorithm has been developed that automatically detects and identifies these markers, enabling the alignment of the histology slices. The method has been tested on 10 prostate specimens, with 19.2 slices on average per specimen. The accuracy of the alignment at the fiducial markers was on average 0.18±0.13 mm. A second algorithm was developed to 3D register the aligned histology slices with the MR images. The registration is designed to be guided by the ejaculatory ducts, an anatomical landmark present in every prostate and visible in both histology and MR images acquired at standard clinical resolution. The algorithm was first tested by using the fiducial needles to guide the registration. The average registration accuracy was 0.45 ± 0.25 mm at the fiducial needles and 1.04±0.21 mm at the ejaculatory ducts. The algorithm was then tested by using the ejaculatory ducts to guide the registration. The average registration accuracy was 0.16±0.05 mm at the ejaculatory ducts and 2.82 ± 0.41 mm at the fiducial needles. The results suggest that the histology shrinkage factor is of the order 1.07±0.03 and the tilt of the histology slicing plane is 13.6◦ ±9.61◦, with both parameters showing significant variance

A despeito da relevância, esta dicotomia muitas vezes leva as empresas a trabalhar com informações baseadas na facilidade de sua obtenção. Neste sentido o alinhamento estratégico entre os objetivos de negócio e os objetivos de sistemas de informação proporciona convergência e reciprocidade entre os rumos que a empresa projeta e o monitoramento das rotas que estão sendo seguidas. Baseados neste conceito, que contempla uma constante revisão, os indicadores que serão utilizados pelos gestores para a avaliação da performance das empresas serão dotados da pertinência necessária para a alteração de rumos programados e para a correção de desvios de rota. Neste contexto está também inserida a indústria da construção civil, que é destacada por seu reconhecido atraso tecnológico, tanto em termos de estrutura como também no tocante à gestão. Contemplando quatro empresas do segmento de construção de edificações comerciais e residenciais, esta pesquisa dá sua contribuição para o desenvolvimento do tema alinhamento estratégico na construção civil, na medida em que, através de um estudo exploratório de casos múltiplos, teve como objetivo identificar o alinhamento entre os objetivos de negócio e os objetivos de sistemas de informação, promovido pelas empresas construtoras de Lajeado (Rio Grande do Sul). Com a utilização de um protocolo de pesquisa baseado em modelos encontrados na literatura, os elementos encontrados em cada empresa foram confrontados entre si e também com àqueles da literatura. Como resultado deste estudo, mediante a convergência de todos os elementos encontrados, foi identificado o modelo de alinhamento adotado por empresas de construção civil, através do relacionamento entre os objetivos de negócio e os objetivos de sistemas de informação, e também os indicadores de desempenho utilizados por estas empresas. / The alignment between business objectives and the objectives of information system exerts a preponderant role on the companies’ performance which, in the actual highly competitive and dynamic scenery, doesn’t allow the companies’ managers to vacillate about the decisions they have to make. Those decisions are based mainly on the information which are available to the people who decide. And, if the access to information today is facilitated due to technologic resources that are available, it tends to make it difficult to choose information which are really pertinent. In spite of relevance, so many times this dichotomy makes companies to work with information that are based on its easiness to be obtained. This way the strategic alignment between business objectives and the objectives of information system provides convergence and reciprocity amid the courses that the company projects and the monitoring of the routes that are been followed. Based on this concept, which contemplates a constant revision, the indicators used by the managers to appraise the organizational performance will be endow of the necessary pertinence to change programmed courses and to correct detour of routes. In this context, the building site industry is also inserted and it is known because of its technology delay in terms of structure as well as concerning management. Contemplating four companies in commercial and residence building segment, this research gives its contribution to the development of the strategic alignment theme on building site industry through a multiple cases exploratory study. Its goal is to identify the alignment between business objectives and the objectives of information system promoted by building companies in the Lajeado (Rio Grande do Sul) city. Trough the use of research protocol based in models found in the literature, the elements set up in each company had been faced amongst themselves and also with that from the literature. As a result of this study, by the convergence of all found elements, it was identified the alignment model adopted by the building companies through the relationship between business and information system objectives and also the performance indicators used by these companies.
