Tuchlovicko v době laténské a době římské: archeologický výzkum z let 1967 a 1968 (A. Knor, J. Zeman) / Tuchlovice mikroregion in the latène and Roman period

Bursák, Daniel January 2011 (has links)
This submitted thesis summarizes archaeological data about Iron Age and roman period settlement activity in the area of Tuchlovický potok downstream. Main focus is given to the elaboration of archaeological excavations, which were carried out in the years 1967 and 1968 by A. Knor and J. Zeman. The excavations followed up a large drain trench between Tuchlovice and Srby (district Kladno, Central Bohemia), where K. Motyková detected in the year 1966 the rests of roman period settlement with organic finds. Thirteen probes unearthed relatively widely spread rests of settlement, which was probably buried by a flood. The analysis of pottery sherds allows dating of the excavated settlement mainly to the 1.st century AD. Sampled wooden finds were submitted to dendrochronological surveys, but the recorded tree ring curve didn't match any so far known. Most important finds are a part of wooden fence and a piece from composite wooden jar. Other wooden artifacts and finds do not allow any functional interpretation. The research carried pointed to a great potential of this site for answering a wide spectrum of questions about prehistorical settlement sites and their relation to environment. The excavations also brought some rarely found organic finds like pollen, rests of plants and some other.

Tizian, antická mytologie a Ovidius / Titian, classical mythology and Ovid

Vorlová, Magdalena January 2011 (has links)
The thesis examines the classical motifs in the works of Titian. The author focuses on a closed set of works inspired by classical motifs (i.e. motifs of classical mythology), which were created for the Spanish king Philippe II. The thesis deals with the question of possible literary or material sources which could have been at the painter's disposal or could have served as his inspiration. The set of works is defined by themes chosen from Ovid's Metamorphoses. The question is whether Titian based his compositions on their classical version or on a Renaissance adapted or commented translation, or whether he even inspired himself by other classical authors.

Proklínací destičky a jejich archeologický kontext v římské provincie Britannie / Curse Tablets and their Archaeological Context in the Roman Province of Britannia

Śmiejová, Michaela January 2016 (has links)
(in English): Curse tablets are interesting phenomenon in the Ancient world. The curses are usully written on the lead tablet. Totally there are about 1500 curses found, from which one third is written in latin and 309 from that amount were founf in Roman Britain. I focus on this countable group in my Diploma Thesis. Firstly I prefer the archaeological side of the artefact. The context is usually the only way to date and understand the curse tablet itself. I offer all the sites where information about them is given. We can talk also about the so called prayers for justice which are quite numerous in Britannia. They are of the same principle as curses, but they are not made for satisfied selfish ambitions. They ask gods for help. Most often they are made because of the robbery which has not been punished in the world of mortals, because the thief is not known or there are too many suspects.

[fr] COMMENT ET JUSQU OÙ IL SERAIT POSSIBLE DE PENSER AUTREMENT? UNE LECTURE CRITIQUE DU PROJET PHILOSOPHIQUE DE MICHEL FOUCAULT / [pt] COMO E ATÉ ONDE É POSSÍVEL PENSAR UM OUTRO PENSAMENTO? UMA LEITURA CRÍTICA DO PROJETO FILOSÓFICO DE MICHEL FOUCAULT

FERNANDA GOMES DA SILVA 11 April 2007 (has links)
