The purpose of this study is to analyze both the need for emancipation that the citizen possesses, in order to become an acting agent within the legal system, and the probative instrument of the notarial act, to be used by him, in and out of the courthouse. Therefore, the right to public transportation was selected of the sixth article of the constitutional text, at this point limited exclusively to the collective public transportation, here understood as a service to be provided by the State in a satisfactory manner. In this way, initially, the fundamentality of social rights is highlighted, specifying the characteristics of the chosen social right, to further investigate in detail the conditions that end up imprisoning the citizen. In sequence, the considered instrument is investigated itself, not without first studying its author, in this case, the public notary. Hence, the object of the research is at the forefront of the current civil procedural context, as it overcomes the purely dogmatic issue of delimitation of its concepts, in order to scrutinize the problematic of the effectiveness of material law, working on the paradigm of the New Code of Civil Procedure. The elected methodology combines different methodical techniques, emphasizing the inductive method as a method of procedure, relying also on the contemporary rights-based approach, since the initial thematic choice, as well as in the development of the study. The research does not propose itself as a final solution for the issue of the effectiveness of the law of the land, but rather its meant to instigate the reader to think of new ways of moving in that direction. Along these lines, it is hoped to contribute both to the illumination of the need to strengthen the citizen as such, as to the emerging national doctrine of the notarial act and, secondarily, of the notarial function itself.

Metabolismo antioxidante e qualidade durante a maturaÃÃo de frutos tropicais produzidos pelos sistemas de produÃÃo orgÃnico e convencional / Antioxidant metabolism and quality during ripening of tropical fruits produced by organic farming systems and conventional

Aurelice Barbosa de Oliveira 08 March 2012 (has links)
Banco do Nordeste do Brasil / CoordenaÃÃo de AperfeiÃoamento de Pessoal de NÃvel Superior / The growth of the organic cultivation of vegetables is driven by consumers seeking healthier foods free of pesticides and chemical fertilizers. Thus the aim of this study was to evaluate changes in quality and antioxidant metabolism during fruit ripening of five species that have economic importance grown by organic farming systems and conventional. The yellow passion fruit, banana, tomato, sugar apple and acerola cultivated under organic and conventional farming were manually harvested at different stages of development, the pulp were processed and stored at 18 ÂC. The results indicate that the organic cropping system induced stress in passion fruit as shown by the greater degree of peroxidation and lowest phenolic content and CAT activity, however it stimulated vitamin C. The higher SOD and PAL activities indicate that organic bananas suffered an oxidative stress, but their nutritional quality parameters were not affected. The organic farming system also induced stress in tomato evidenced by the greater degree of lipid peroxidation and increased PAL and SOD activities, but also positively influenced all nutritional antioxidants components. Although the present results for sugar apple do not allow a comparison between cropping systems, there are strong indications that the organic cropping system did not induce stress in sugar apple. For acerola BRS 235, there are signs that organic system induced an oxidative stress due to the higher lipid peroxidation degree. As the data obtained, the organic system induced stress in passion fruits, tomato, banana and acerola. The organic cropping system positively influenced the non-enzymatic antioxidants in yellow passion fruit and tomatoes, however for the others fruits, there was no influence or it was negative, as in acerola. Therefore, it can be concluded that stress induced by organic cropping system will not necessarily stimulate the production of antioxidant compounds.

Abstract: The practice of sports is more and more broadcast in contemporary society, being practised in its several contexts and by their different characters anywhere in the world. The inclusion movement brings to light the need for a specific public: disabled people. This study had as objective, describe and analyze the participation of disabled people in the practices of school sports: What are the theoretical principles governing the Physical Education at school and Physical Education for the disabled people? What are the socio-cultural context and the characters which mediate the development of the sport education for the disabled people? How is the structure of the current proposal for school sports for disabled people? We used the semistructured interview to collect data from nine teachers of Physical Education who are involved with the sport school in the formal and public schools. After the interviews transcriptions, they were analyzed by Enunciation Analysis, a technique from Content Analysis. We used, too, the technique of Bibliographic Search to search for information on the theoretical foundations of Physical Education at school and for disabled people. The documents used in this step was analyzed by the Information Reading. The data collected from the currently model of sports for disabled people in the school context, were raised through Document Analysis. This data were analyzed by Categorial Analysis, another technique from Content Analysis. The data showed the fragility of the current school regarding effective participation of persons with disabilities in their practices. The teachers had doubts on aspects of professional training, structure and possibilities of the disabled people, keeping out of the pedagogical discussions about Physical Education and this public. Despite the theories of Physical Education at school and Adapted Physical Education move closer in its ideological principles, mainly when focus the pedagogical work on the needs of the individual and not in their skills, there is little dialogue between them even within the school context, in which currently works with both perspectives. Regarding the proposed model, has its foundations in the development and consolidation of the sport Paraolímpico, what makes the model remain distant from the needs of the school. For the realization of a sport education that meets all students with quality, is necessary that the Physical Education professionals who works in different contexts with different characters understand and use the knowledge of the area as part of a network. Everything that has been and will be produced is interdependent and essential to the formation of the complete professional. / Mestrado / Atividade Fisica, Adaptação e Saude / Mestre em Educação Física

Variabilität in der Toponymie: Almaty vs. Alma-Ata

Aksholakova, Assem January 2011 (has links)
With gaining the independence and the emergence of a new state the linguistic situation in Kazakhstan has been changed. The restoration and return of historical names, the fi xing of unifi ed rules of the transferring of Kazakh toponyms into other languages became the basis of national onomastic policy of independent Kazakhstan. After the law “On languages in the Republic of Kazakhstan” adopted in 1997 the activity on improvement of orthographic norms and formulation of new rules of transferring geographical names from Kazakh into Russian started. As a result of these acts many distorted names of inhabited localities and administrative-territorial units are gradually being put into an appropriate norm. Many of them are still to be corrected according to new “Law on Administrative - Territorial Structure of the Republic of Kazakhstan” (December 8, 1993.) and Presidential Decree (December 29, 1995.), Government Resolution (March 5, 1996.) where the rules on Russian transferring of Kazakh onyms were approved. Due to such activity to former capital of Kazakhstan Alma-Ata was returned its original name Almaty. Thus, in our article we decided to give our point of view on some issues relating to grammatical adaptation of toponym Almaty in Russian language.

Biosensor based on immobilized amine transaminase for detection of amphetamine

Öh, Clara January 2020 (has links)
Amine transaminases (ATA) catalyse the transfer of an amino group from one molecule and replaces a ketone or aldehyde with the amino group, the amino group on the amino-donor is replaced with a ketone or aldehyde. This enzyme, ATA from Chromobacterium violaceum, has previously been used to catalyse the reaction involving amphetamine, therefore, it might be possible to use this enzyme to convert amphetamine and the product absorbs in the UV spectrum and can therefore be measured spectrophotometrically. The aim of the project was to explore the possibility of using ATA in a portable biosensor for the detection of amphetamine. A literature study of commercially available portable biosensors was performed, activity of the free enzyme was tested against two substrates, methylbenzylamine (MBA) and amphetamine. Research on immobilization techniques, materials, and surface functionalization was done to chose suitable methods for immobilizing ATA. Two immobilization methods were suggested and one of the methods, ionic immobilization through His-tag towards Ni2+ on the surface, was tested for enzyme activity toward MBA. The enzyme activity of the free enzyme in solution towards MBA was comparable to previously reported enzyme activity, however, no enzyme activity towards amphetamine was observed. No activity was observed for the immobilized enzyme, but it might be due to the experimental design, more experiments need to be performed to draw conclusions.

Fictions of Development: Decolonization, Development Economics, and the African Novel

Horst, Lauren January 2023 (has links)
This dissertation, “Fictions of Development: Decolonization, Development Economics, and the African Novel,” maps the tensions as well as the surprising resonances and interdependencies between development institutions and African literary production. The arc of the dissertation begins in the early 1960s, as many postcolonial countries marked their independence by embarking on ambitious national development programs. It extends through the turbulent 1970s, during which the Global South agitated for a New International Economic Order that would deliver “trade, not aid,” and the reactionary 1980s, in which the World Bank and the IMF pressured governments across the Global South into adopting a series of macroeconomic reforms known as structural adjustment. The dissertation ends in the present moment, as pressing social and environmental concerns have given rise to a (supposedly) new era of “sustainable” development. Taken as a whole, “Fictions of Development” unsettles received notions about both development and African literature. Scholars working in and around postcolonial studies have long understood development as the contemporary counterpart to, and outgrowth of, the “civilizing mission” that once underwrote centuries of European conquest and colonization. Such close ties between colonialism and development have given rise to the widespread assumption that postcolonial writers, in rejecting colonialism, also rejected development. However, by turning to the historical interactions between writers from “developing” countries and the organizations charged with the task of “developing” those countries, this dissertation tells a more complex story. Applying the tools and methods of literary criticism to a wide range of materials—from novels, plays, and memoirs to national economic planning documents, World Bank mission reports, and tourist brochures—this dissertation traces some of the ways that western development institutions use narrative form to stake their claims to knowledge of (and therefore power over) the so-called “developing” world. It also shows how four African writers—Botswana’s Bessie Head, Ghana’s Ama Ata Aidoo, Kenya’s Ngũgĩ wa Thiong’o, and Zimbabwe’s Tsitsi Dangarembga—use the narrative form of the novel to propose alternative visions of development grounded in the principles of social and economic wellbeing.
