An der SLUB Dresden werden die Sächsische Bibliographie und die Bibliographie Geschichte der Technik bearbeitet. Beide Werke liegen bis zum Berichtsjahr 1991 nur in gedruckter Form vor. Diese Bände werden als Teil eines Projektes aus dem Europäischen Fonds für regionale Entwicklung (EFRE) retrospektiv konvertiert. Praktisches Ziel dieser Diplomarbeit ist die Erstellung einer katalogbezogenen Aufgabenbeschreibung für das Vorhaben. Die katalogbezogene Aufgabenbeschreibung basiert auf einer Datenanalyse, in deren Rahmen das verzeichnete Titelmaterial in den zu konvertierenden Bibliographiebänden untersucht wird. In einem theoretischen Teil der Diplomarbeit werden beide Bibliographien vorgestellt. Des weiteren erfolgt eine Marktuntersuchung zu Anbietern von Retrokonversionsdienstleistern in Deutschland.

Le système de la propriété littéraire dans la France de l’Ancien Régime est souvent examiné de manière rétrospective à l’aune du droit d’auteur contemporain : tout se passe comme si la librairie d’Ancien Régime devait être nécessairement le laboratoire d’un dispositif juridique et idéologique en pleine formation, encore mal adapté aux réalités littéraires. Cette thèse propose d’examiner la question de cette propriété à nouveaux frais, en considérant le système de librairie comme un ensemble d’acteurs, de logiques et d’outils opératoire, sur le temps long, des années 1650 jusqu’aux années 1780. À travers l’étude des logiques institutionnelles de la propriété économique et de la responsabilité juridique, des dispositifs bibliographiques des dictionnaires, des journaux et des recueils d’ana et des opérations éditoriales imaginées par les auteurs eux-mêmes, elle met en évidence les rapports de force qui agitent la librairie et le monde littéraire de l’époque. En empruntant à l’histoire littéraire, à l’histoire du droit et à l’histoire du livre, ce travail entreprend de montrer de quelle manière la propriété littéraire se construit à l’encontre des intérêts des auteurs et en faveur de la constitution d’un monde de la librairie où l’État joue de moins en moins son rôle de régulateur des pratiques. À travers le prisme de l’attribution littéraire, la démonstration est menée avec un intérêt particulier pour l’analyse précise des paratextes littéraires. / Literary property rights in early modern France are often understood through the prism of the contemporary droit d’auteur. Many studies see the early modern period as a laboratory for an on-going experiment in law and ideology, still ill-fitted to the literary practices of the authors. This thesis offers a fresh start in the examination of the question of literary property, taking the whole library system from the 1650s to the 1780s to be an effective articulation of agents, tools, and discursives practices. Through the study of institutional policies in the domain of literary property as well as judicial responsibility, through a careful reading of the bibliographical discourse with dictionaries, anas, and periodicals, and through the description of editorial endeavors undertaken by authors themselves, it shows the dynamics of the early modern library and literary world. With roots in literary history, history of law, and book history, this dissertation seeks to understand how the concept of literary property is aggregated, against the very interests of the authors, to consolidate a commercial book-trade where the State slowly delegates its regulatory powers. Through the study of literary attribution, this work follows its demonstrations with an acute interest in a close-reading of literary paratexts.

Ce travail propose de montrer de quelle manière Clément Marot a conçu son métier d’auteur. À cette fin, il prend d’abord appui sur une reconstruction synthétique et critique de la carrière du poète, des premiers engagements auprès de Nicolas de Neufville ou (peut-être) de la reine Claude, jusqu’au service de François Ier, afin d’en comprendre les contraintes, et la façon dont elles conditionnent l’écriture (I). Suit logiquement l’étude des représentations du métier d’auteur dans l’œuvre, c’est-à-dire du discours par lequel le poète se met en scène en tant qu’auteur ; celle-ci comprend ainsi l’analyse de la signature marotique ainsi que des choix lexicaux et métaphoriques qui caractérisent le regard que le poète pose sur son activité (II). Marot faisant partie des premiers écrivains à s’impliquer fortement dans le processus d’impression, la troisième partie est consacrée à l’enquête bibliographique qui s’intéresse à la totalité des éditions marotiques autorisées : elle en présente les différents acteurs et propose une description matérielle des ouvrages, afin de reconstituer l’histoire de leur fabrication et de déterminer la mesure de la collaboration du poète (III). Les conclusions de l’enquête sont exploitées dans la dernière partie pour mettre en évidence le sens du projet poétique et éditorial des recueils considérés. L’étude de leur ordonnancement en est la clé principale, Marot s’emparant du critère de l’organisation pour se réapproprier une œuvre qui lui échappe en raison même de son succès, et faire finalement de la presse un instrument essentiel pour réaliser ses intentions (IV). / This study offers to show how Clément Marot conceived of his role as an author. For this purpose, it begins with a synthetic and critical narrative of the poet’s career, from the first appointments, under the patronage of Nicolas de Neufville or (maybe) Queen Claude de France, to the service of Francis I, so as to bring to light the constraints of the office and the way they influenced his writing process (I). The study then explores the representations of the author’s work in the text, i.e. the way the poet portrays himself as an author; it includes the analysis of Marot’s signature and of the lexical and metaphorical choices which define the way the poet looks at his own activity (II). Because Marot is one of the first writers to get fully involved in the printing process, the third part is devoted to a bibliographical inquiry dealing with all the authorized editions of Marot’s works: it presents the various actors involved and offers a material description of the books, in order to reconstruct the story of their making and to determine the extent of the poet’s collaboration in the process of their production (III). The findings of the inquiry are used in the last part to highlight the import of Marot’s poetical and editorial project. To this end, the study of the books’ dispositio provides the main key, as Marot uses it to reclaim a work that eludes him because of its very success, managing to turn the printing press into an instrument at the service of his auctorial intentions (IV).

Nous avons défini la bibliosémantique comme appartenant aux domaines de l'informatique et de la linguistique. Les objectifs sont sensiblement les mêmes que ceux prônés par la scientométrie, l'infométrie ou la bibliométrie, à savoir classifier, organiser et évaluer. Le cœur de notre implémentation repose sur l’utilisation des corpora annotés sémantiquement par la plateforme EXCOM. La mise en œuvre de la méthode de l'exploration contextuelle a conduit à une implémentation informatique de la bibliosémantique qui repose donc sur une sémantique du discours à défaut d'être une application purement métrique dans le contexte de cette étude menée autour des références bibliographiques. C’est la reconnaissance des références indexées ou abrégées, au sein de corpus d’articles scientifiques, qui permet d’identifier les segments textuels candidats pour l’annotation. La thèse présente également des marqueurs discursifs organisés sous la forme d’une carte sémantique, constituant les ressources linguistiques nécessaires et permettant l’automatisation de l'ensemble des traitements sémantiques. Afin de proposer une interface de navigation conviviale et adaptée à notre problématique, le système a été développé sous forme de service web. De nouveaux produits documentaires comme une notice bibliographique augmentée ont été mis en œuvre afin de faciliter l’exploitation des annotations par l’utilisateur. Enfin, nous proposons une évaluation du système et nous explicitons le protocole utilisé. Ce travail se termine par la présentation d’un certain nombre de recommandations, notamment la mise en place d’une cellule de veille. / We have defined Bibliosemantics as belonging to both fields of Computing and Linguistics. Its objectives are essentially the same as those advocated by the Scientometrics, Informetrics and Bibliometrics, i. e. classify, organize, evaluate. The core of our implementation is based on the use of semantically annotated corpora by EXCOM platform. The application of the Contextual Exploration method has led to a computer implementation of Bibliosemantics based on discourse semantics, as it is not a purely metric application in the context of this study about bibliographic references. The identification of indexed or abbreviated references in a corpus of scientific papers allows to establish the textual segments candidates for annotation. This thesis also presents the discourse markers, organised in a semantic map, which constitute the necessary linguistic resources making possible the automatic semantic processing. The system has been developed as a web service, with the aim to provide a navigation interface which is user-friendly and adapted to our problem. New documentary products such as a enriched bibliographic records have been implemented in order to facilitate the exploitation of annotations by the user. Finally, we propose an evaluation of the system and we explain the used protocol. This work culminates with the presentation of a number of recommendations such as setting up a monitoring unit.

An update of Swahili bibliography and listing of articles of former issues of the Swahili Forum.

The editors ofSwahili Forum have decided to revive the former bibliographical service with issueing a first follow-up list within the present No. VII of Swahili Forum. The following titles do certainly not cover all the Swahili-related writings of the years since 1993, but could be seen as a new starter, which might create appetite to continue with a bibliographical section. Eventually this could be completed for the past seven years within the forthcoming issues. The following bibliography contains titles which were rather randomly collected by the present editors. The articles which appeared in Swahili Forum I/1994 - VI/1999 are excluded from this list but await documentation in an extra-list, which is forthcoming in one of the next numbers of Swahlli Forum.
