Právní regulace mezinárodního obchodu s vojenským materiálem a civilními zbraněmi / Legal regulation of international trade in military material and civilian weapons

Matocha, Jakub January 2018 (has links)
Legal regulation of international trade in military material and civilian weapons The thesis focuses on the comparison of regulations governing international trade with weapons of military and non-military character. The area under consideration is, given the character of the commodity traded, a specific area of international trade in which there are a number of legal norms regulating this area. The analysis and comparison of the legal standards in question is based on international, European and national legislation, with an emphasis on internal interconnection of individual legal norms in order to better understanding and relevance to the international arms trade. The thesis consists of several chapters that are thematically related. The first chapter deals with the theoretical definition of international arms trade with a focus on private international law. Particular attention is paid to the international purchase agreement and international transport agreements that will be applied in the course of the implementation of the arms trade. The second chapter focuses on defining the term "weapon" and its definition in the most important international conventions dealing with weapons. Attention is focused on distinguishing military weapons and weapons for civilian purposes. The next, third to fifth chapters...

ŠVAMBERK, David January 2014 (has links)
The aim of the thesis is to evaluate customer relationship management in a selected organization through a questionnaire survey. At first was identified company marketing through 4P, making it possible to outline how the company does with the product, distribution, pricing and marketing communications. Subsequently, a survey was conducted on a total of 100 respondents. The questionnaire had 20 questions, in which customers expressed their satisfaction with the company's employees, offered goods, services and also compared the individual areas of business to competitors. After evaluation questionnaire was also conducted guided interview with the director of questions regarding the results of the survey. On the basis of all the facts were subsequently proposed changes that the company should take to improve customer relationship management.

Zlepšení informovanosti poskytovatelů sociálních služeb o doporučených způsobech chování při vzniku mimořádné události / Improving awareness of social service providers about the best ways of behavior when an emergency

KOVÁČ, David January 2017 (has links)
The aim of the thesis was "To assess the current state of awareness of the personnel of the social services providers in the field of extraordinary events, to assess the effectiveness of the implemented training program". Based on the stated objective, then, to verify 2 established hypotheses. Hypothesis No. 1, ´Awareness of social service provider staff on the recommended behaviour manners during extraordinary events does not reach 80% of correct response success´ , and Hypothesis No. 2, ´Social service provider staff education leads to an improvement in the current situation of behaviour manners during extraordinary events´. To fulfill this aim, a research survey was created, which I personally carried out in 4 social service providers, fulfilling the following criteria: the social service provider had to provide a ´stay´ form, handicapped individuals had to stay there´, and the place had to be located in the region of South Bohemia. The results were being evaluated via graphics processed in Microsoft Excel Word 2007 programme. To evaluate Hypothesis No. 2 I created an educative material in an e-learning form, containing 5 thematic areas: protection of population, fire, floods, chemical substances, and radio-active substances. I introduced this educative material to the social service provider staff, and subsequently I carried out a second round of interview survey. In the results of this work I was comparing the staff´s responses before the implemented educative programme, and after. The results of my research work have proven that the less staff takes part in education on protection of population, the less individuals are introduced to the recommended manners of behaviour during extraordinary events. The educative programme has brought valuable information for the social service provider staff. An improvement was missing in certain responses, but in my opinion, this is due to an extremely expert or thematic area of questions. A significant improvement was noticed in the second round of questionnaire survey after implementing the educative programme. Zkušenosti učitelů s tématem smrti ve škole / Teachers experiences with death topic in school.

PLACHÁ, Veronika January 2018 (has links)
The dissertation addresses the issue of death education. It represents the concept of this education as it was created and is realized in the United States (Levinton, 1977; Wass, 2003; Doka 2015). The aim of qualitative research is to map the experiences of teachers with the theme of school death. It follows experiences of interventions in cases of death in the closest family of pupils or the death of a member of the school community, experience with topics related to death in teaching, as well as conditions for education related to death. The data were obtained through semi-structured interviews with ten teachers. Part of the work on based on teacher intervention in 11 cases, six of which were concerned with deaths in the pupil's family, in three a pupil died. In two cases, deaths were related to teachers. In the interviews, teachers paid much attention to the situation regarding the classroom reporting, usually choosing a factual announcement after which the pupils were recommended how to behave to the mournful classmate. In this recommendation, there was an emphasis on empathy or on the preservation of common behavior. If the event was communicated by a pupil or the teacher perceived their interest, a discussion in which the pupils communicated their reflections, experiences followed. No teacher noticed a strong emotional response from pupils. To the grieving pupil, teachers usually expressed their participation outside the classroom. In their further negotiations with him, they either sought to maintain the order or considered different options. These included both the demands on the pupil and the choice of topics in the classroom respecting the sensitivity to family issues or devoting attention to death issues (often through reading). Part of the work on the subject of death in teaching presents school subjects where teachers can deal with death related topics. It is the Czech language, Elementary studies, Natural sciences, History or Ethical and Dramatic Education. Although the themes of death in the curriculum appear, only some teachers are giving them attention. Most often it is then the case for a wide range of discussions or essay writing of pupils, which usually follows common reading. Teachers perceive pupils' interest in these topics. In some cases, teachers have sought to counterbalance the numbing impact of contemporary death mediation by making pupils feel through reading or film watching. The theme of death has sometimes been raised by the pupils themselves. Teachers perceived support from their personal experience (for five their parents died in childhood or adolescence). In their professional training, they perceived courses such as Critical Thinking or Philosophy for Children superior providing them with tools for work with demanding themes. Many teachers apply a personal approach to their pupils which naturally forms an appropriate framework for interventions as well as teaching on the theme of death.

In this context, two main goals, the stratigraphic and the structural analysis, had guided the research. For this purpose, it was used the 3D seismic volume and eight wells located in the study area and adjacencies. The stratigraphic analysis of the Valanginian-Barremian interval was carried through in two distinct phases, 1D and 2D, in which the basic concepts of the sequence stratigraphy had been adapted. In these phases, the individual analysis of each well and the correlation between them, allowed to recognize the main lithofacies, to interpret the effective depositional systems and to identify the genetic units and key-surfaces of chronostratigraphic character. The analyzed lithofacies are represented predominantly by conglomerates, sandstones, siltites and shales, with carbonate rocks and marls occurring subordinately. According to these lithofacies associations, it is possible to interpret the following depositional systems: alluvial fan, fluvio-deltaic and lacustrine depositional systems. The alluvial fan system is mainly composed by conglomerates deposits, which had developed, preferentially in the south portion of the area, being directly associated to Carnaubais fault system. The fluvial-deltaic system, in turn, was mainly developed in the northwest portion of the area, at the flexural edge, being characterized by coarse sandstones with shales and siltites intercalated. On the other hand, the lacustrine system, the most dominant one in the study area, is formed mainly by shales that could occur intercalated with thin layers of fine to very fine sandstones, interpreted as turbidite deposits. The recognized sequence stratigraphy units in the wells are represented by parasequence sets, systems tracts and depositional sequences. The parasequence sets, which are progradational or retrogradational, had been grouped and related to the systems tracts. The predominance of the progradation parasequence sets (general trend with coarsening-upward) characterizes the Regressive Systems Tract, while the occurrence, more frequently, of the retrogradation parasequence sets (general trend with finning-upward) represents the Transgressive System Tract. In the seismic stratigraphic analysis, the lithofacies described in the wells had been related to chaotic, progradational and parallel/subparallel seismic facies, which are associated, frequently, to the alluvial fans, fluvial-deltaic and lacustrine depositional systems, respectively. In this analysis, it was possible to recognize fifteen seismic horizons that correspond to sequence boundaries and to maximum flooding surfaces, which separates Transgressive to Regressive systems tracts. The recognition of transgressive-regressive cycles allowed to identify nine, possibly, 3a order deposicional sequences, related to the tectonic-sedimentary cycles. The structural analysis, in turn, was done at Baixo Vermelho seismic volume, which shows, clearly, the structural complexity printed in the area, mainly related to Carnaubais fault system, acting as an important fault system of the rift edge. This fault system is characterized by a main arrangement of normal faults with trend NE-SO, where Carnaubais Fault represents the maximum expression of these lineations. Carnaubais Fault corresponds to a fault with typically listric geometry, with general trend N70?E, dipping to northwest. It is observed, throughout all the seismic volume, with variations in its surface, which had conditioned, in its evolutive stages, the formation of innumerable structural features that normally are identified in Pendencia Formation. In this unit, part of these features is related to the formation of longitudinal foldings (rollover structures and distentional folding associated), originated by the displacement of the main fault plan, propitiating variations in geometry and thickness of the adjacent layers, which had been deposited at the same time. Other structural features are related to the secondary faultings, which could be synthetic or antithetic to Carnaubais Fault. In a general way, these faults have limited lateral continuity, with listric planar format and, apparently, they play the role of the accomodation of the distentional deformation printed in the area. Thus, the interaction between the stratigraphic and structural analysis, based on an excellent quality of the used data, allowed to get one better agreement on the tectonicsedimentary evolution of the Valanginian-Barremian interval (Pend?ncia Formation) in the studied area / A ?rea de Baixo Vermelho, localizada na por??o norte do Graben de Umbuzeiro (Bacia Potiguar emersa), representa um exemplo t?pico de uma bacia do tipo rifte, caracterizada, em subsuperf?cie, pela seq??ncia sedimentar rifte, correlata ?

Cardoso, F?tima Maria Canelas 22 February 2010 (has links)
Made available in DSpace on 2015-03-13T17:08:27Z (GMT). No. of bitstreams: 1 FatimaMCC_DISSERT_1-50.pdf: 5372710 bytes, checksum: 8e3306f0f537e25a61d067b9d1bf86a8 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2010-02-22 / The Palestina Graben is one of the NE-trending asymmetric grabens of the Araripe Basin. This basin rests on the precambrian terrains of the Transversal Zone, Borborema Province, immediately to the south of the Patos Lineament. It is part of the Interior Basins province of Northeastern Brazil, being related to the fragmentation of the Gondwana supercontinent and the opening of the South Atlantic ocean. The Palestina Graben trends NE-SW and presents an asymmetric geometry, controled by the NW extensional eocretaceous strain. The graben borders display distinct geometries. The SE border is a flexural margin, characterized by the non conformity of the eopaleozoic Mauriti Formation (the oldest unit of the basin) overlying the crystalline basement, but also affected by normal faults with small displacements. On the opposite, the NW border is continuous and rectilinear, being marked by normal faults with major displacements, that control the general tilting of the layers to the NW. In this sense, the Mauriti Formation is overlain by the Brejo Santo, Miss?o Velha (which also occurs in the Brejo Santo-Mauriti horst, to the NW of the fault border) and Abaiara formations, the latter restricted to the graben. The interpretation of available gravity data and a seismic line indicates that the main fault has a variable dip slip component, defining two deeper portions within the graben, in which the sedimentary column can reach thicknesses of up to 2 km. Regarding to the stratigraphy of Araripe Basin in the study area, the sedimentary package includes three distinct tectonosequences. The Paleozoic Syneclisis Tectonosequence is composed by the Mauriti Formation, deposited by a braided fluvial system. The Jurassic Tectonosequence, whose tectonic setting is still debatable (initial stage of the Neocomian rift, or a pre-rift syneclisis ?), is represented by the Brejo Santo Formation, originated in a distal floodplain related to ephemeral drainages. The Rift Tectonosequence, of neocomian age, includes the Miss?o Velha Formation, whose lower section is related to a braided to meandering fluvial system, outlining the Rift Initiation Tectonic Systems Tract. The upper section of the Miss?o Velha Formation is separated from the latter by a major unconformity. This interval was originated by a braided fluvial system, overlain by the Abaiara Formation, a deltaic system fed by a meandering fluvial system. Both sections correspond to the Rift Climax Tectonic Systems Tract. In the area, NE-trending normal to oblique faults are associated with NW transfer faults, while ENE to E-W faults display dominant strike slip kinematics. Both NE and E-W fault sets exhibit clear heritage from the basement structures (in particular, shear zones), which must have been reactivated during the eocretaceous rifting. Faults with EW trends display a dominant sinistral shear sense, commonly found along reactivated segments of the Patos Lineament and satellyte structures. Usually subordinate, dextral directional movements, occur in faults striking NNW to NE. Within this framework bearing to the Palestina Graben, classical models with orthogonal extension or pull-apart style deserve some caution in their application. The Palestina Graben is not limited, in its extremeties, by E-W transcurrent zones (as it should be in the case of the pull-apart geometry), suggesting a model close to the classic style of orthogonal opening. At the same time, others, adjacent depocenters (like the Abaiara-Jenipapeiro semi-graben) display a transtensional style. The control by the basement structures explains such differences / O Graben de Palestina comp?e o conjunto de depocentros com orienta??o NESW a ENE, da Bacia do Araripe.

O discurso do capitalista e a cultura do mal-estar / The discourse of the capitalista and the culture of malaise

Flávio Corrêa Pinto Bastos 30 September 2010 (has links)
This dissertation aims to address the vicissitudes of the discourse of the capitalist on the subject. For this purpose, it takes as a starting point Lacan statement in his lectures at Saint-Anne on The psychoanalysts knowledge, that what characterizes the discourse of the capitalist is the foreclosure of castration. From this statement - represented in the matheme of the discourse of the capitalist by the disappearance of the disjunction between product and truth, and by the absence of a vector between the agent and the Other, which shows that this discourse does not promote social bond - it traverses some issues that reverberate on the subject, among which stands out: if the subject does not exist apart from the social bond, what sort of effects does he suffer by following a discourse - which appears to be dominant in contemporary society - in which castration is foreclosed and, therefore, also the social bond? Since the Verwerfung is what functions in the discourse of the capitalist, there is the hypothesis that schizophrenizing at the level of the discourse could spread what Helene Deutsch conventionally called as if (als ob). This phenomenon emerges as an imaginary supplementation used by the subject to reach stabilization in view of the effects of castration foreclosure in the discourse of the capitalist. This is a psychosis-inducing discourse that, unlike the four discourses introduced by Lacan at the seminar Psychoanalysis Upside-Down, promotes no social bonding. If the discourse is what promotes social bond and Freud in 1930, announced that the main reason why men suffer is due to the relationship with others, the malaise in civilization is the malaise of social bonds. Thus, the four discourses participate in the malaise of civilization. Unlike these, the discourse of the capitalist, in an attempt to eliminate the malaise, forecloses the social bond. As it promotes enjoyment rather than the renunciation of drive, the discourse of the capitalist eventually instigate it. And, as every drive is a death drive, the discourse of the capitalist produces nothing but the deadly thrust to enjoyment. The power the discourse of the capitalist acquired in contemporary society is analyzed from its close relationship with the discourse of science. From some statements of Hannah Arendt on the banality of evil present in a totalitarian system, such as the Nazi, there is the hypothesis that the alliance between the discourses of the capitalist, and science results in the emergence of a new form of totalitarianism: the totalitarianism of consumption.

In order to use variational methods to obtain our results, we make some changes of variables to obtain some semilinear equations, whose associated functionals are well defined in a classical Sobolev spaces. We also work with these equations on an Orlicz type space whose energy functional satisfy the geometric properties of the Mountain Pass Theorem. We still use the penalty technique due to Del Pino and Felmer and the Moser iteration method to obtain estimates in L1 norm, which are fundamental to our study.
