Our research is based on data triangulation methodology by which we are going to answer the question with a combination of two elements: the design and development in combination with life cycle perspective according to ISO 14001:2015 and organization consider the life cycle perspective when they design and develop their products, in a modified form introducing many new aspects of life-cycle thinking. This Master’sthesis aims to discuss the Sustainability approach through the use of Environmental Management Standards (EMS), the results achieved by organizations that implement and certify those EMS, and a special focus on the current process of ISO 14001:2015 revision and the logic behind it. Revisiting the concept of Sustainability, the status of the International Organization for Standardization 14001, requirements that related to that life cycle perspective in ISO 14001:2015, eco-design, circular economy and its expected outcomes are discussed. The ISO 14001:2015 revision will have major impacts on the more than 300,000 worldwide certified organizations and on the many professionals that work with it. Analysis of the development of a sustainability portfolio within a globally-operating manufacturing company, we came different illustrate the kinds of life cycle work involved in dealing with activities and interests, connecting activities and interests into action-nets, performing life cycle practices, and spreading the life cycle idea. Finally, we discuss implications of life cycle work for research in the field of organization and management studies and questions related to the topic with quality engineers within the organization.

The green supply chain concept occurs to mitigate environmental degradations and controlair, water and waste pollution through the adoption of green practices in manufacturing andbusiness operations. The essential ideology behind green concept is to enhance environmental sustainability. This can be through some reviews which can be done on some previous studies, articles or /and papers which includes within its concept caring about the environmental issues. Since the environmental issues are increasing concerning the green supply chain a researchabout the actual supply chain performance and its greening in an integrated environmental management system (EMS) is required to be done. This will be shown in this research. As well as the SC is shown to be driven to ISO 14001 to meet the requirements of life cycle incombination with design and development. A modified model of EMS is suggested aftergreening the SC. It is of great importance to green the SC to come till the objective of this thesis. That is tosatisfy the customer by greening the SC and to modify an EMS which includes practisinggreening the supply chain (SC), certain themes should be studied. Firstly, description of someconcepts related to the topic of this research will be forwarded. The definitions of the SC, SCM and how together they integrate in environmental thinking will be clarified in the first hand.This will simplify the comprehensive of greening SC/SCM in an EMS. The green supply chain(GSC) can reduce the environmental pollution and production costs and it can also balance theeconomic process, create competitive advantage in terms of greater customer satisfaction, positive image and reputation. In this research the SC is also to be driven to ISO 14001, the standardization regarding theenvironmental issues and its impact management. It is valuable also to mention and not to forgetthat, as general nowadays, the increase in industry greenhouse emission are considered as aserious matter that may raise the taxes regarding the emission of more carbon dioxide, whichin turn affects the environmental impacts measure. Sweden depends on the natural resourcesand is the leading producer of ores and metals such as zinc, copper andlead. People also depend on the lakes for water so there must be certain means for a continuousimprovement, a decreasing and not an increasing in the environmental impacts which may leadto pollution and contamination. This comes to reality when an environmentally friendly inputsare utilized and transformed into outputs that can be reclaimed and re-used at the end of theirlife cycle thus creating a sustainable supply chain, considering the manufacturing process from product design development, material selection, delivery to the end the life cycle managementafter the product’s useful life. Through the review of 33 papers/studies, four of these reviews are explained and will be justified here in this research. It will be shown clearly and actually that the questions of thisresearch will get an answer and the objective will be met. In another words this research focuseson the green SC with respect to product life cycle and the design development which will beshown to be a key to customer’s satisfaction. SC performance measure; i.e. quality, delivery,cost and flexibility play an essential role on that. This will be shown when an EMS is structured keeping the basis of ISO 14001 (can be the latest version: 2015). The methodology followed is the collection of data from the papers and studies, analysis oftheir results, observations of their conclusions and the comparison of the similarity and contrast of their contributions. Extra conclusion to the conclusions of the papers can be added if found. Some recommendation is given for future studies so as a continuous gain obtained while developing the studies.

The aim of the work was to create a concept of land design after the former Jaselské barracks in the locality of Brno-Ponava. The proposal addresses urban ties in the area and their possible use in the coming years. The work is based on the concept of the zoning plan of Brno, where a new street connection is being created between Šumavská and Sportovní streets. A new block of flats is proposed here, containing the functions of housing, services, hotel accommodation and a multifunctional building. This project uses the potential of the area near to the city center and proposes other elements such as a new tram loop, two new streets and a living parterre oriented to the main street with commercial areas. The use of newly created courtyards in the form of front gardens and publicly accessible areas of urban greenery is also addressed here. This will create a new park inside the block itself. The proposal deals in more detail with possible layout solutions and variants of modern living in city center and offers apartments from the smallest sizes to above-standard housing layouts. The buildings facing Štefánikova Street are based on the traditional concept of facades and layouts. On the contrary, the proposed buildings in the eastern and southern part of the complex are based on the modern concept of apartment layouts and structural solutions of individual houses. In several buildings, large accessible galleries are designed, which allow to improve communication between the inhabitants of the house, but also mainly the comfort in using the house. All apartment buildings in the basement are equipped with garages designed for apartment residents. The dominant feature of the whole complex is a designed corner building and an axially mirrored hotel. For the rest of not only the locals, a simple wellness spa facility has been designed here, which gives a different view of our traditional czech spa. To complement the newly created apartments in this locality, there is also a location for a kindergarten, which is designed according to modern teaching methods and as much as possible with a feeling for the needs of little

Master thesis carried out in collaboration with PS Retail, a retail design company from Jönköping, during the spring semester of 2022 as a part of the Industrial Design Master at Jönköping University. This project describes the process of design, development and construction of a module focused on the bread and bakery department in grocery stores for EveryDay Sweden, a partner of PS Retail. It consists of the development of a new versatile and contemporary assortment of displays that fit the interior of grocery stores, more specifically, for the bread and bakery department. Some of their approaches are to anticipate how supermarkets will evolve over time and design accordingly. In addition, they want the space to be comfortable for everyone, so some ergonomic factors are taken into account. Finally, their goal is to expand to other European markets, so both aesthetics and function must be considered. The final result is a module for bread storage and some proposals on how to fit in different environments. It works similar to a drawer, except that when the customer pulls it, the glass is lifted and the bread is exposed. In addition, the proposals represent how this module would look in different shapes and environments, depending on the capacity of the store.

This thesis aims to enhance the light ramp of Rottne Industri AB's harvester. To achieve this, various theories and methodologies were applied throughout the project. By employing a systematic product development process, the authors were able to minimize manufacturing costs while incorporating additional features for improved functionality. The newly developed design resulted in several significant improvements. The height of the light ramp was reduced by 15%, which not only aligns with the project’s goals but also contributes to better integration with the machine's overall structure. The manufacturing costs have been lowered, making the production process more economical and efficient. Furthermore, the lighting coverage has been enhanced to provide better illumination of the nearby area that is surrounding the harvester, thereby increasing visibility and safety for the operator. Overall, the project successfully met all the set objectives, delivering a more efficient, cost-effective, and functional light ramp design for Rottne Industri AB’s harvester.

<p dir="ltr">Asian international students face various challenges and emotional issues during the process of acculturation, often finding it difficult to truly connect with the domestic culture. Current research often focuses on interactions and adaptation within the international student community, with little mention of how international students communicate with domestic students. Especially in the digital age, the ways people acquire information and communicate have evolved significantly from the past. This research takes into account the current era's context, seeks to understand the current status and needs of new Asian international students and propose further assistance guidelines. It employed interviews and co-design activities to delve into the issues from the perspective of Asian international students, encouraging them to integrate into the domestic culture. The findings suggest that new Asian students encounter similar challenges and utilize various strategies, with a view to fostering social connections with domestic students in future platforms.</p>

This study investigates the terms, dialogue, structure and active learning in Open Distance Learning texts in aa constructivist and problem-solving approach. In-text activities are imbedded in selfstudy texts. Their construct is validated against appropriate instructional design and learning theories for active learning. A course team developed, implemented and piloted a Unisa course for mathematics teachers in South Africa. The results describe their professional development through action learning. The Tornado-approach affects teams in organisations. A team used participatory action research and action learning with rich descriptions to document the longitudinal case study of four action research cycles over eight years. Qualitative research involved a literature survey, notes, portfolios, mindmaps, letters, interviews, document analyses, and assessment results. Our action research demonstrates ways to implement a post-modern learning design in an industrialized institution. The researcher applies action learning in professional development, in team management, and suggests models for successful/unsuccessful teams (tornado-effect). / Educational Studies / M. Ed. Quel est le régime juridique applicable à la qualification juridique du site internet ? Cette question a pour intérêt d'inviter à un voyage dans des arcanes juridiques trop peu visités par les auteurs. Cette thèse ravira donc autant l'universitaire que le juriste spécialisé. Son ambition est d’éclairer juridiquement sur les spécificités du statut juridique du site internet, en parcourant aussi bien l’ensemble des dispositions concernant la réalisation d’un site internet que son exploitation. Pour faciliter sa lecture, la thèse est divisée en deux parties. La première est dédiée à la réalisation de sites internet, avec principalement, d’une part les contrats : le contrat de conception de sites internet, le contrat d’hébergement, le contrat de référencement et le contrat de maintenance ainsi que l’encadrement juridique de chacun d’eux, et, d’autre part, les nombreuses formalités du site internet à respecter : dépôt légal, noms de domaine, mentions légales et déclarations CNIL, ainsi que l'étude de la relation site internet-droit d’auteur. La deuxième partie de cette thèse est dédiée à l’exploitation de sites internet, avec d’une part la communication en ligne et, d’autre part, la relation site internet-publicité, le commerce électronique et le fonds de commerce électronique. Cette thèse souligne avec pertinence qu'internet n'est pas simplement un outil universel, mais aussi une matière vivante, interrogeant le juriste, jour après jour, innovation après innovation, dans sa recherche de solutions toujours plus audacieuses répondant aux problématiques posées par la nature de l’évolution des sites internet. / What is the legal framework regulating the web site? The main purpose of this question is to invite the reader into the world of web sites and the surrounding legal regime. The doctoral law thesis aims to shed light on the specificities of the web site’s legal framework. The thesis is divided into two parts: the first part is dedicated to the legal provisions of web site development and the second part is dedicated to the provisions of web site processing. The first part of the thesis, dedicated to the development of web sites, studies the different types of contracts related to web sites including web site development and design contracts, hosting contracts, search engine optimization, and content management system contracts. In addition, it delves into the web site’s requirements: legal web site registration, domain name, legal information and the independent administrative authority protecting privacy and personal data (CNIL), and last but not least the relationship website-copyright. The second part of the thesis, dedicated to the management of web sites, studies online communication, e-commerce, the relationship web site-advertisement, and digital business assets. This doctoral thesis therefore emphasizes the fact that the Internet is not only a universal tool, but also a living matter that challenges the legal profession day after day, and innovation after innovation to encompass new solutions and new regulations as a response to the arising conflicts posed by the evolution of web sites.
