This diploma thesis is dealing with the issues of the building projects management, mainly developer projects or investment building projects respectively and their financing. There is solved specific situation of the company that decided for realization of the investment project of building the family houses in the designated location and is deciding the way of its financing. In the practical part of the thesis is determined optimistic, pesimistic and most probable variant of the sales and their influence on the financial difficulty of the project. In the end the whole investment is evaluated and the recommendation for the investor is determined.

Engaged employees will deliver long term value, but most will not reach their full potential without a manager who understands and is committed to increase engagement in others. Managers are the key influencers to create meaningful engagements. The aim of this study was to investigate if employees’ experience of their managers as people developer (MPD) will have an effect on work engagement, and if work engagement will have an effect on subjective well-being, performance and turnover intention. The study also considered the possible mediating effect of work engagement. The primary focus therefore has been on the relationship between MPD and work engagement. Secondly, the study examined the relationship between MPD, subjective well-being, performance and turnover. The study followed a descriptive, cross-sectional and quantitative approach. The following measuring instruments were used: the Leader Empower Behaviour Questionnaire (LEBQ), the Empowering Leadership Questionnaire (ELQ), the Work Engagement Scale (WES), the Turnover Intention Scale (TIS), the Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS), the Affect Balance Scale (ABS), and the organisations performance rating scale. These instruments were used to test whether the measures of the constructs were consistent with the understanding of the nature of the constructs; also whether the data fitted the hypothesised measurement model. Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) was used to examine the structural relationships between the constructs. The results showed that significant relationships existed between MPD and work engagement, subjective well-being, performance and turnover intention. No significant relationship was found x between performance and turnover intention, and performance and subjective well-being. Regression analyses indicated that MPD had significant predictive value towards work engagement and turnover intention, and work engagement had significant predictive value towards turnover intention, subjective well-being and performance. An indirect effect was found from MPD (via work engagement) on subjective well-being and turnover intention, but an indirect effect from MPD on performance (via work engagement) was not found. Work engagement was found to have a direct effect on performance. It was therefore found that work engagement was a strong antecedent to subjective well-being and turnover intention. En lagändring trädde i kraft i plan- och bygglagen den 1 januari 2015 för att förenkla och effektivisera detaljplaneprocessen. Lagändringen innefattade en ny roll för lantmäterimyndigheten i planprocessen samt nya regler för exploateringsavtal. Studiens syfte var att beskriva hur samverkan mellan kommun, lantmäterimyndighet och exploatör fungerar gällande exploateringsavtal samt hur lagändringen i plan- och bygglagen angående exploateringsavtal påverkat dessa parter. För att besvara studiens frågeställningar sändes en webbenkät till Sveriges alla kommuner för att erhålla en överskådlig bild av lagändringens påverkan över landet. Det genomfördes även semistrukturerade telefonintervjuer i fem kommuner med antagna riktlinjer för exploateringsavtal. Exploateringsingenjörer, lantmäterichefer och exploatörer intervjuades för att erhålla olika perspektiv på samverkan och hur lagändringen påverkat dessa parter. Studiens resultat visade att förhandlingen mellan kommun och exploatör gällande exploateringsavtal har påbörjats tidigare i processen efter lagändringen i plan- och bygglagen. Kommunen måste även efter lagändringen betala ersättning när de tar mark i anspråk för allmän plats. Lantmäterimyndighetens mer aktiva roll har bidragit till att oklarheter och brister kan korrigeras i exploateringsavtalen. Emellertid har det gått för kort tid för att helt kunna avgöra vad lantmäterimyndighetens roll bidragit till i exploateringsavtalen. Exploatörerna har fått större möjligheter att påverka exploateringsavtalen. Samarbetet mellan kommun, lantmäterimyndighet och exploatör har blivit tydligare och till viss del förbättrats, men i det stora hela är uppfattningen att samarbetet är oförändrat. På sikt finns det möjlighet till en förbättring. / On January 1st 2015 an amendment passed in the Planning and Building Act in order to simplify and rationalize the detailed development plan process. The amendment includes a new part for cadastral authority in the plan process and new rules for development agreement. The municipalities should adopt guidelines for these agreements. The aim of this study was to describe how the collaboration between municipality, cadastral authority and developer works when it comes to development agreement and how the amendment in the Planning and Building Act concerning the development agreement has affected these participants. To answer the thesis a web survey was sent to all municipalities in Sweden to get an overview of how the amendment has influenced the country. Semi-structured telephone interviews were also performed in five municipalities that have adopted guidelines for the development agreements. The interviews were performed with land development engineers, cadastral supervisors and developers to receive their perspective of the collaboration and how the amendment has affected them. The results of the study have shown that negotiations have started earlier between municipalities and developers after the amendment in the Planning and Building Act passed. The municipalities also need to pay compensation when they take land for public places after the amendment. The cadastral authority’s more active part has contributed to assure that ambiguities and shortcomings might be solved in the development agreement. However, it is still too early to tell what the cadastral authorities part has contributed in the development agreements. The developer has got a major opportunity to influence the development agreements. The collaboration between municipalities, cadastral authorities and developers has become clearer and improved but overall it is unchanged. There are opportunities for improvement in the long term.

Pasirinkti du algoritmai: pirmasis remiasi ultragarso sonarų teikiama informacija, antrasis ultragarso sonarų ir vaizdo kameros teikiamais duomenimis. Abu algoritmai remiasi fuzzy logika. Nustatyta, kad realiomis sąlygomis atlikti automatinį automobilio parkavimą remiantis tik ultragarso sonarais yra nepatikima – patikimumas ir sistemos nauda ženkliai pagerėja pasitelkus vaizdo kamerą. Įsisavinus ir perpratus robotikos platformą Microsoft Robotics Developer Studio 4 sukurtas automobilio modelis grafinėje miesto aplinkoje. Modelis aprūpintas sonarais ir vaizdo kameromis, todėl gali būti universaliai naudojamas parkavimosi algoritmų bandymams ir analizei Microsoft Robotics Developer Studio 4 vizualios simuliacijos aplinkoje (VSE). / The thesis „Motion Trajectory Planning Using Distance Sensors“ deals with algorithms for automatic car parking. There were chosen two algorithms: the first is based on information provided by ultrasonic sonars, and the second is based on ultrasonic sonars and video camera. It was found that under realistic conditions algorithm based only on sonars is not such reliable as algorithm based on ultrasonic sonars and video camera, which significantly improves the results. There was created graphical model of the car in urban environment in Microsoft Robotics Developer Studio 4. The model is equipped with sonars and video cameras, so it can be universally used for parking algorithms analysis and testing in Microsoft Robotics Developer Studio 4 visual simulation environment (VSE).

The contribution of diploma thesis is to clarify what the logistics center actually is, its function, role, providing services and bringing benefits not only to economic but also non-economic entities in its vicinity. Start of construction of logistics centers occurred in the Czech Republic and Slovakia at different times, which could be caused by many different factors, but we can simply say that the construction was started with the arrival of foreign investors in the market and lack of storage and distribution network here in the meantime occurring. Central European market is still due to relatively cheap labor attractive place for the construction of logistics centers for investors, because of this there is still the ongoing construction. Market Characteristics of Czech Republic and Slovakia is primarily focused on describing the situation in both markets, layout of logistics centers in countries and also the performance of developers operating in the market. Development of the construction of logistics centers in both markets can be divided roughly into three periods-the pre-crisis known as boom years, a period of financial crisis and post-crisis period marked as the revival phase.

Background: Tough competition, time- and resource constraints, and changing consumer demands in the video game industry requires business models that can cope with the pressure.    Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to use business model framework in order to better understand how independent video game developers develop their business models. We aim to contribute to the development of business model literature within the context of independent video game development by further the understanding of how a business model framework can be utilized in this new context.   Method: A case study method was used, focusing on a single-case and interviews with participants from the case company.   Conclusion: We further develop the BMC by proposing to divide the BMC for independent video game developers into a pre-release and post-release BMC to better describe the business model for an independent video game developer and the business model evolution from pre-release to post-release.

In complex information flows where a lot of varied data is transmitted through many companies and divisions, incidents will occur. When Visma Spcs had an incident where invoices sent from Visma to Visma's customers were duplicated and the service meant to receive the transactions did not handle the duplicates properly. They decided that the receiver service was to be upgraded to prevent this incident from happening again, as well as fixing some other issues the service had had. Incidents like this one must be investigated and a solution must be implemented to decrease the likelihood that similar incidents will happen again. In this report, the reader will see examples on how this can be handled and the benefits of tackling technical debt, along with how much more complicated the solutions might get if the service is not allowed to be taken offline.

The aim of the work is to analyze, design and implement project planning web application, integrated on SAP NetWeaver Portal platform. Although the requirements are based on the needs of Mibcon a.s. company, the resulting application solves the problematics of project management in general. Technologies, used during the implementation are Adobe Flex (user interface), Java (server integration layer) and Oracle database (backend). The reader is introduced to various aspects of portal application development. Representative technical details, used during implementation, are presented here as well.
