Private out-of-school centre is a new institution of education. It has occurred as an alternative to the out-of-school centers financed by the state. Such a phenomena is to be related with the extra money that can be paid by the parents for the upbringing of their offspring. The purpose of the research. To reveal the course of the activity of a private out-of-school centre as a new institution of education. The tasks of the research: to survey the psychological and educational literature on the topic; to reveal the state of a private out-of-school centre; to establish the essential features of the activities of a private out-of-school centre; to foresee the perspectives for the private out-of-school centre. There were such methods applied in the research: analysis of the nonfiction literature and generalization, documentary analysis, questionnaire, interview, conversation, observation and mathematics statistical methods SPSS ( Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) 10.0 for Windows. The manager of Riešės out-of-school centre, the teachers, parents and children were participating in the research. The managers realized the importance of the institutional culture formation. As nowadays education documents on changes in teachers‘ training put forward the need for teachers probationary as well as for the creation of licensing system in Lithuania, the questions of the notion of concept of patronage for teachers working for the first year as well as student teachers become extremely topical as does the analysis of the system of training for teachers’ mentors in various countries of the world. In the present MA paper the notion of mentors is analyzed as well as the training systems in Lithuania and Western Europe. The experience of the USA in training mentors is also overviewed. The aim of the paper is to disclose the evolution of the ideas for training mentors and to analyze the modern tendencies in mentors’ training in Lithuania and Western Europe. This is the reason why the notion of historical evolution of mentors’ training as well as the practice of mentors’ training and the tendencies in Lithuania and Western Europe are being analyzed in the paper. Modern ideas for mentors’ training and the experience of Lithuania are also overviewed in the paper. The following methods are used for the research: the analysis of scientific and pedagogical literature, education documents and periodical press as well as electronic data base analysis, the comparative analysis and summing up of the documents compiled.

The following written work is about the collaboration between the parents having early age children with speech and communication, intellectual, body and position disorders and specialists (the working staff of the educational institution). There are 9 % of children which have some speech, comuniciation, intelectual,body and position and other disabilities in Lithuania.These disabilities limit development,social adaptation and educiation of children.It is impossible to cure them absolutely, but it is very important to give support in organizing treatment, correction and education in early years together with family. The parents need to be motivated to become active participants in cooperation with specialists, to be open to explain what kind of assistance they expect, what kind of help they need. The aim of this research is to reveal the peculiarities of parents and specialists’ collaboration while bringing children with speech and communication, intellectual, body and position disorders up. The aim of the magistracy paper ,,The problems of the first year student‘s as future teachers adaptation at the university“ done by Daiva Klizaitė is to analyze difficuties et the first year student‘s adaptation. The aim of dis paper – the problems of the first year student‘s adaptation at the university. The tasks of dis paper is: 1. To analyze pedagogical, psychological literature on this subject; 2. To unfol the first year student‘s difficulties of adaptation at the university; 3. To clear intereses end motyves for their future pedagogical activities. Methods applied: theoretical, questionnaire, statistical. At the research was done in 2006 in which 93 student’s of the Vilnius pedagogical university and 102 student of Marijampoles college were questioned. The main conclusions. Studies are too hard. Too much home works. Lack et time because et time because et great amount of materials students must study. Student’s lack capacity to organize their own activities. Student’s receive help from their teachers and friends. Student’s health turned worse. Friends are very important to the first year student’s. Student’s are interested in their specialty, their studies are motivated. Student are satisfied by their decision to be a teacher.

In the stage of Lithuanian educational reform was finished to create the new types of educational astablishments (gymnasiums, children's day centers, childhood's educational centers, the young schools and others). They let to cater children's educational need from meager social enviroment. Already from 1996 it is finished to create, not governmental organization's initiative, day centers for children in the council territory. The dey centre is doig social and primary and supplementary favors establishment for problematic falily children's and theis parent's. Children day centers net hot up, create new centers, because the favors' need in it is growing. However, today not all children whom need to visit this cenre have possibility to visit them, because the net those center's is not enough expanded. Because the day centers as specific establishment's action organization standards' we yet haven't got is difficult to regard concrete center social-economoc efficacy and advisability.
