Dessa maneira, estudamos como esse conceito é encontrado nessa documentação, sendo ele previamente delineado a partir de exemplos bibliográficos e das próprias crônicas / Abstract: The purpose of this research is to analyze the idea of decay of the evangelization and the rise of indigenous idolatry in New Spain of the seventeenth century from VI Anales del Museo Nacional de México. In this volume are the records of the Inquisition, and reports from the late sixteenth and seventeenth century that discuss and recount indigenous idolatry, rituals and superstitions of the natives. In general, we believe that these texts bring a social, political and religious perspective of seventeenth-century New Spain, at the same time they support the idea of crisis in evangelism in America. Thus, we studied how this concept is found in this documentation, it being previously delineated by examples from bibliographic and chronicles / Mestrado / Historia Cultural / Mestra em História

[en] HUMANIZATION IN MOBILITY: EVANGELIZATION IN TODAY´S URBAN ENVIRONMENTS / [pt] HUMANIZAÇÃO NA MOBILIDADE: EVANGELIZAÇÃO NOS AMBIENTES URBANOS ATUAIS

05 June 2014 (has links)
[en] This dissertation intends to analyze some aspects of the human being the light of conception of Christian theological anthropology and its implications, especially regarding to today‘s urban mobility. It is indented to show many ways of current urban nomadism and their outstanding characteristics, such as the transitoriness as a human phenomenon in social, affective and religious environments; the anonymity and identity loss in big cities, which creates a sosial dissatisfaction, as well as to show that human beigs are capable of making the Christian experience in today‘s urban mobility environments. It will emphasize how important is to adopt a pastoral proposal facing the new cultural references marked by this context. This work also intends to make a reflection about some positive aspects of current urban nomadism, like overcoming individualism and others aspects considered as negative, like the danger of a human become fragmented and thingified. This forces us to think in which way today‘s urban mobility favors the humanization process. Therefore, it is extremely important to enable human encounter with Jesus Christ‘s God in all environments in which life has become notoriously a mobile experience.

[pt] A AMIZADE DISCIPULADORA: ANÁLISE DO MÉTODO PASTORAL VENHAM E VERÃO / [en] FRIENDSHIP-BASED DISCIPLESHIP: ANALYSIS OF THE PASTORAL METHOD COME AND YOU WILL SEE

DIOGO DA CUNHA CARVALHO 07 April 2022 (has links)
[en] One of the greatest matters of interest in recent decades for Catholic and Protestant missiologies has been the study of disciple making and its praxis (cf. Matthew 28,19). This convergence points to the missionary nature of discipleship for baptized persons as a hopeful renewal for the spread of the Christian faith in a challenging beginning of this millennium. Starting from a careful look of reality, the Document of Aparecida exalted the pastoral method Come and you will see as the unique synthesis of the Christian method (DAp 244). Such marks imply the experience, witness and transmission of the Christian faith through interpersonal relationships. Among the principal traits of the liquid-modern society affecting the individual are the fragility of human bonds and the search for those who can model how to face and overcome existential challenges. These data points to friendshipbased discipleship inspired by the way that Jesus and the apostolic churches made disciples and intended by missionary disciples as a conducive path to contemporary effective evangelization. However, there are limits to preserve the Church s communal life and genuine friendship s aspects of freedom and gratitude. To this end, this research offers a bibliographical survey of the more recent Catholic and Protestant missiological documents texts from the so-called Modern Discipleship Movement that took place in the second half of the twentieth century.

This topic, "Some Mission Societies Since Lausanne 1974" is an examination of the impact of Lausanne 1974 on the Global Church through ParaChurch organizations. There is a Focus on DAWN as a Movement. The topic was chosen due to the fact that mission organization scholars from agencies such as the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention, Dawn Ministries, YWAM, and A.D. 2000 consider Lausanne 1974 to be a watershed event in evangelical missions. Lausanne 1974 renewed evangelical vision of missions and gave new direction to mission organizations. This dissertation explores those claims. / Christian Spirituality, Church History and Missiology / M. Th (Missiology) Christian Spirituality, Church History and Missiology

Initiatives of the Pentecostal assemblies of God (Zambia) in response to the unequal distribution of Christian mission resources in the world

Phiri, Elisha Francis 11 1900 (has links)
The subject of “unreached people” is still debated in Christian circles. Given the vast resources of the Church, it is difficult to understand that there are still people unreached by the gospel. This study views that part of the reason for this is that there is an unequal distribution of Christian mission resources. It thus critically examines the reasons that have been advanced to explain this unequal distribution. Next, it makes an in-depth study of one particular church in Zambia, namely the Pentecostal Assemblies of God (Zambia), which has more than 1400 congregations across the country, by looking at the initiatives it has taken towards reaching the unreached. Chapter 5 reveals that the lack of a clear mission policy and the autonomy of congregations contribute to an unequal distribution of mission resources in the PAOG (Z). The dissertation uses the “praxis cycle” to structure its theoretical framework and research methodology. / Christian Spiritual Church History and Mission / MTH (MSN)

Mission und Neuevangelisierung in Europa Grundlinien kontextueller Missionskonzepte, 1979-1992 / Mission and new evangelisation in Europe : outlines of contextual concepts of mission [1979-1992]

Walldorf, Friedemann 05 1900 (has links)
Text in German / This thesis analyses the contextual concepts for Mission in Europe as developed by European churches between 1979 and 1992 by examining their interpretation of European culture and history (,,Europabild") and the corresponding understandings of mission. The main thrust of the Roman Catholic concept of the ,,New Evangelization of Europe" is to understand European-humanist culture as having grown out of christian (Roman Catholic) roots and to interpret the Church as Soul of Europe. Accordingly, New Evangelization means to call Europe back to the Church in order to keep its culture from ruin and to revitalize it. The European branch of the Lausanne Movement took some clues from the Roman Catholic concept, but interpreted them in its own way since 1984. Here European culture is understood in the basic theological tension between ,,bridge" and ,,barrier" for the Gospel in Europe. The aim of mission is the conversion of Europeans to the biblical and present Jesus Christ who is able to give new life and new hope for individual Europeans and European culture. The Conference of European Churches has coined and discussed the concept of ,,Mission of the Churches in a Secularized Europe" since 1986. The Protestant ,,wing" tends to be less critical towards secularized European culture than Orthodox theologians seem to be. Nevertheless both affirm an understanding of mission as encounter with present time European culture in which God is seen at work in various and mysterious ways. Finally the author formulates his conclusions and perspectives for a transforming (of) mission in Europe. The Body of Jesus Christ in Europe needs to be as deeply rooted in biblical revelation as in biblical spirituality in order to live as a missionary and alternative community in the middle of European culture, and in order to not repeat past european-christian inculturations, but to repent and invite Europeans to turn to Jesus Christ to explore fresh ways of life, hope and reconciliation in the middle of European diversity.

Hamel-Charest, Laurence 07 1900 (has links)
This research aims to understand how the evangelization process works in the contemporary era characterized by globalization. It takes as a case study the missionary activities of an evangelical Korean church in an Anicinabe community located in Quebec (Abitibi). The analysis of a summer mission sequence recounts the encounter between two groups representing one for the other radical otherness: non Western youth who are not career missionaries meet Indigenous children and their relatives who are more familiar with Catholicism. On the missionaries’ side, the analysis reveals motivations, objectives, strategies employed and potential impacts of that timeless experience. On the Anicinabek side, it shows the variety of responses, including reception, mainly centered on the concept of healing, and limits of the desired reciprocity.

No. of bitstreams: 1 Antonio Marcos Depizzoli.pdf: 1176837 bytes, checksum: 1bd306a3d27d71c9e4d74bf36f21782e (MD5) Previous issue date: 2013-04-30 / This dissertation considers the catechetical matter in Brazil with accent to a person with disability. Keeping in mind the background of theological reflection this subject will be studied; and questions such as: "A person with disability has the right to be included in the catechetical process of faith formation?"; "The Christian tradition offers, from its biblical, theological and anthropological heritage, an itinerary that support the educational process-formation of the faith to a person with disability from the practice of Jesus?"; "What are the consequences of a catechesis of all and for all, since the word all also considers a person with disability?"; "The Church in Brazil, in his catechetical action, has been shown to be open to changes required to the evangelization of a person with disability?"; it will be contemplated. The method used is the view, illuminate and act, frequently used while doing theology in Latin America. This research aims to generate practical knowledge, that is, to address and solve specific problems; particularly here, the catechetical action and the Christian formation of a person with disability in the Church in Brazil. The technical procedure adopted here is formed of bibliographic and documentary research, drawn from materials published in books, articles, events, and the consultation some sites. The results achieved by the study are positive. Firstly, it has been found that, the catechetical pastoral model, since the Biblical-Theological Jewish-Christian tradition, with emphasis on the proclamation of the Kingdom of God accomplished by Jesus, it prepares the current understanding of the inclusion's concept. In addition, it was proved the hypothesis that the Church's catechetical activity in Brazil towards a person with disability is privileged instrument of development of the sense of community fraternally Christian. Lastly, the 2006's Fraternity Campaign and the project Affordable Church a Church of all and for all suggests revisiting the way of being and doing of Jesus and of the first Christian communities, adapting the advances of the modern world on those religious and theological bases. The research shows that it is relevant to the theological, catechetical and pastoral context of the Church dialogue with current theological and biblical hermeneutics from the perspective of a person with disability as the subject of faith, giving him visibility in theoretical Church's speech. It also contributes to the knowledge of the Church's catechetical activity in Brazil towards a person with disability and how catechesis becomes gateway to build inclusive communities. Finally, it encourages discussion of the theme, catechesis to a person with disability, as an important element in building an inclusive theology, taking into consideration the Church's moral duty to organize itself according to the archetype of inclusion / Esta dissertação desenvolve-se desde a questão catequética no Brasil junto à pessoa com deficiência.
