A dissertação Sukot e Purim Festividades na Educação Infantil: um encontro da infância e da cultura judaica localiza-se na área de conhecimento da Cultura Judaica que corresponde a um segmento do currículo da Educação Infantil das escolas judaicas de São Paulo. O objetivo desta pesquisa é compreender como as crianças integram a cultura judaica em seus processos de aprendizagem. A pesquisa teve como ponto de partida o estudo sobre o desenvolvimento do pensamento infantil e a concepção de infância, que alicerçam os Referenciais Curriculares do Brasil e de Israel, os quais compõem os currículos das escolas judaicas do Brasil. Para tal, resgata a concepção de infância no decorrer dos séculos XIX e XX, e descreve os primórdios do estabelecimento da educação infantil relacionado às diversas influências políticas, econômicas, culturais e ideológicas de cada momento histórico. O estudo do desenvolvimento infantil tem como referência os estudos de Jean Piaget e a compreensão do desenvolvimento da linguagem segundo Vygotsky. A segunda parte do trabalho teve como foco o estudo das festividades Sukot e Purim, elementos da cultura judaica, que foram escolhidos pela sua diversidade de símbolos e costumes e pelo seu aspecto lúdico. Na última etapa foi realizada a coleta de dados com grupos de crianças, de um ano e quatro meses a cinco anos, em uma escola judaica de São Paulo. A análise dos dados baseou-se no repertório expresso pelas crianças que, após a tabulação, evidenciou o conhecimento e a compreensão acerca das festividades, de cada grupo. / The dissertation Sukot and Purim Festivities in Childrens Education: a gathering of infancy and the Jewish Culture, corresponds to a parcel of the Childrens Education curriculum in the Jewish schools of the city of Sao Paulo. The purpose of the research is to understand how children integrate the Jewish Culture in their learning process. The research started with the analysis of childrens thinking process development and the concept of infancy that work as references for Israel and Brazils Curriculum conception and constitute the Jewish Schools curriculum in Brazil. In order to do this, the thesis retrieves the concept of infancy during the XIX and XX centuries and describes the beginning of childrens education under the influence of politics, economy and culture in different historical moments. Jean Piagets studies and the comprehension of language development according to Vygotsky were the theoretical references for the study of childrens development. The second part of the thesis focuses on the study of Sukot and Purim festivities, which are Jewish Culture elements and were chosen due to their symbols and traditions diversity and their playful aspect. The last part the thesis shows the data collection among children between the age of sixteen months and five years, in a Jewish School located in the city of Sao Paulo. The analysis of the data was based on childrens comments. The analysis of the data showed the knowledge and comprehension of the festivities in the different groups.

Cette thèse étudie le Carnaval de Salvador de Bahia (Brésil) et les festivités de l’Indépendance de Carthagène des Indes (Colombie) dans l’optique de saisir comment leurs différentes formes de manifestations provoquent des tensions politiques, économiques et culturelles au sein de ces deux villes d’Amérique latine. Cette thèse argue que les festivités impliquent des relations antagonistes entre une forme hégémonique de célébration — associée aux pratiques et aux discours des élites urbaines — et d’autres formes diverses, dissidentes, et souvent marginalisées de participation. Dans ce cas, le carnaval et les festivités de Salvador et de Carthagène ne sont pas seulement des espaces de rencontre culturelle à travers les symboles, la danse et la musique, mais aussi des espaces politiques dans lesquels les identités, et les relations de classes et « raciales » sont contestées et reconfigurées. De plus, ces célébrations créent une opportunité pour des groupes différents de déployer de vives critiques envers leur position économique et politique dans un contexte urbain plus grand, qui est renforcé par le tourisme industriel global et les interventions d’un Etat multiculturel. / This thesis studies the Carnival of Salvador de Bahia (Brazil) and the Independence Day Festivities in Cartagena de Indias (Colombia) in order to understand how different ways of celebrating give rise to political, economic, and cultural tensions in these two Latin American cities. This thesis argues that these festivities involve an antagonist relationship between an hegemonic form of celebration— associated with the practices and discourses of the urban elites— and other diverse, dissident, and often marginalized forms of participating. In this way, the carnival and festivities in Salvador and Cartagena are not only spaces of cultural encounter through symbols, dance, and music, but also political spaces in which identities, and racial and class relations are contested and reconfigured. Furthermore, these celebrations create an opportunity for different groups to raise harsh criticism to their own economic and political position in a broader urban context that is highly shaped by the global tourism industry and the interventions of the multicultural state.

Analysis of the festivities of the Immaculate Conception celebrated in Lima in 1656, from the account written by Diego de León Pinelo Gutiérrez. This Creole text reinterprets in baroque terms the cult of the Immaculate Conception in the City of Kings. Through it we can study these lengthy festivals, which involved the participation of the city’s most important institutions and corporate bodies, mobilizing considerable resources and people. Thus, the text is conceived as a political and religious exaltation of the city of Lima, typical of the festive genre and of the chorographic literature, which also connects with the emerging Creole discourse. / Este artículo analiza las fiestas a la Inmaculada que se celebraron en Lima en 1656 a partir de la relación festiva escrita por Diego de León Pinelo Gutiérrez. Este texto criollo reinterpreta en clave barroca la devoción inmaculista de la ciudad de Los Reyes. A través de él se estudian los prolongados festejos que contaron con la participación de las instituciones y corporaciones de poder más representativas de la ciudad y movilizaron considerables recursos y personas. Así, esta relación se concibe como una exaltación política y religiosa de la ciudad de Lima, propia del género festivo y de la literatura corográfica, que se conecta también con el naciente discurso criollo.

Solicitud de envío manuscrito de artículo científico. / Esta investigación enfoca su análisis en la percepción de la publicidad BTL en festividades religiosas - tradicionales que se presenta en espacios de conglomeración de público para hacerse visible. El caso en estudio es la festividad del Corpus Christi de Cusco - 2019 y el público objetivo analizado son miembros del Consejo de Hermandades, representantes de las quince hermandades que participan en dicho evento de manera activa, llevando a las imágenes de santos y vírgenes desde cada parroquia ubicada en diferentes distritos y puntos de la ciudad y quienes toman decisiones sobre esta festividad de gran valor para la población local. El objetivo es analizar la percepción de los miembros del Consejo de Hermandades sobre la publicidad BTL en la festividad del Corpus Christi cusqueño – 2019. La metodología, se fundamenta en un enfoque cualitativo, utilizando como herramientas las entrevistas estructuradas. Dentro de los principales hallazgos en este estudio, en relación a la percepción, se evidencia que no existe un vínculo emocional del público hacía la publicidad BTL que interviene en este evento, pues se considera que es un factor externo al significado real y esencial de un acontecimiento religioso-tradicional de gran importancia. Asimismo, se considera que la publicidad tiene una naturaleza estrictamente comercial y se afirma no obtener ningún beneficio de ella. Finalmente, se concluye que la publicidad BTL en festividades tradicionales - religiosas puede ser más apropiada cuando respeta el significado real y la esencia de este tipo de manifestaciones, sin poner en riesgo la reputación del anunciante. / This study focuses its analysis on the perception on BTL advertising in religious traditional festivities which is carried out in crowded areas in order to become visible. The case study is the festivity of Corpus Christi in Cusco in 2019 and the target public involved in the study is the members of the Council of Brotherhoods, representatives of each of the fifteen brotherhoods that participate in that event actively. They carry images of the saints and virgins from each church located in different districts and city areas; they also participate taking decisions about the festivity which are of great importance for the local population. The objective of this study is to analyze the perception that the members of the Council of Brotherhoods have of BTL advertising in Cusco’s Corpus Christi festivity. The methodology is based on a qualitative approach, using the structured surveys as data collection tool. Among the main findings in this study, in relation to perception, it is evidenced that there is no emotional link between the festivity attendees and the BTL advertising since this last one is considered an external factor that distorts the real and essential meaning of a traditional religious manifestation of such magnitude. Furthermore, this advertising is considered to be strictly commercial and it is stated that the target public does not obtain any benefit from it. Finally, it is concluded that BTL advertising in traditional religious festivities can be more appropriate when the real meaning and essence of this type of manifestations are respected in order not to damage the announcers’ reputation. / Tesis

Recepce Friedricha Ludwiga Jahna a jeho idejí v Německém turnerském svazu / The Reception of Friedrich Ludwig Jahn and his Ideas in the German Gymnastic Club

The goal of this paper is to analyse the evolution of the perception of the German gymnastic movement founder Friedrich Ludwig Jahn (1778-1852) and of his ideology in the German Gymnastic Club. Since the eighties of the 19th century, the Jahn's ideas had been specifically interpreted in the gymnastic clubs in Lower Austria. This interpretation, under the direct influence of growing racial anti-Semitism, consisted of an extreme national and racial intolerance. The clubs, since 1889 associated in German Gymnastic Club, gradually made their way to the radically national movement that gained the epithet of "völkisch". Various methods have been applied to determine how the club adopted, interpreted and in its own way also changed the Jahn's teaching in the field of the language, physical exercise, national and anti-Semitic ideology and, last but not least, in terms of festivities and symbology. The result of the study has shown that the "völkisch" interpretation of Jahn's controversial ideas enabled the Club to lay the foundations for the new ideology which was to become dominant in the gymnastic movement of the German speaking countries in the thirties of the 20th century.

The thesis based on contemporary press identifies how the newspaper wrote about Karel Havlíček Borovský during the anniversaries of his birth and his death and whether it wrote about him at all. Thereby, traces the development of the myth of Karel Havlíček and the role which the press has played in this process. The paper focuses on Karel Havlíček's attributes which were used in the articles to describe his personality. It also shows different types of festivities commemorating the anniversaries. In the analysis selected Czech written press from the period from 1866 until 2011 was used. Before the research is introduced, chapters presenting some of academic and scholarly books as well as non-fictional ones describing Havlíček or selected aspects of his work (e.g. linguistic); editions of the letters of his and some editions of his work are mentioned. Following chapters deal with the issue of myth and cult of Karel Havlíček and with the issue of festivities/celebration seen from the perspective of several historians.

Thesis deals with the theme of ballroom dancing in Prague bourgeoisie society in the 2nd half of the 19th century. The theme is situated in social and historical context and contemporary political situation. The second part is dedicated to prague associations, Sokol of Prague and sokol festivities. That part of the text proceeds from analysis of the articles and contributions of the journal Sokol (from years 1871-1895). The following chapter about ballroom dancing tries to focus on the types of free time activities which are connected with dancing in the milieu of Prague Czech-speaking society in the 2nd half of the 19th century. It also characterises favourite ballroom dances at that time in the context of social and cultural life. One of the last chapters is dedicated to the relationship of a significant public figure of that time, Jan Neruda, with ballroom dancing. These passages are based on selected examples of Neruda's texts, adopted mostly from Národní Listy. The main intention of the extracts is to complete the picture of ballroom dancing with personal reflection of Neruda as a great dancer, expert on literature and artist. Its main objective is to identify its dynamic processes of transformation, as well as strategies used by slaved Africans to both adapt to the "new world ", and to perpetuate the ties that bound them to Africa, a necessary step to resist colonial power embodied into oppression and violence. In addition to the seasonality of the period between Christmas and January 6, these black festivities share fragments of performative literacies , which inspite of their similarities and differences are revealing the contribution of African civilization in the Americas. We propose to "read" these festivities through, mainly, cultural practices, customs and the African body which in its displacement uploaded experiences and knowledge / Este trabalho acompanha a emergência de festas de protagonismo negro, de ocorrência no ciclo natalino, em regiões do Brasil e do Caribe, durante os séculos XVIII e XIX. O objetivo é identificar seus dinâmicos processos de transformação, bem como estratégias de adaptação ao novo mundo a que africanos escravizados, burlando a repressão e a violência do poder colonial, lançaram mão para perpetuarem os vínculos que os ligavam à África.
