This anticipated piece of work named "Teaching Spanish in preschool and young school age is divided into two parts. The first part is the theoretical part and describes the evolutionary specifics of preschool and young school-aged children. The diploma thesis responds to very frequent question when is appropriate to start with teaching a foreign language. It also describes the advantages and disadvantages of teaching foreign languages in early age. It also pursues the issue how should be the teaching of a foreign language realized in preschool institutions and in the first grade of primary school. The second part of diploma thesis is a handbook for teaching Spanish in preschool age which is made on the basis of experimental method for teaching French.

Um dos aspectos concernentes à política de indexação diz respeito à conversão retrospectiva de dados e à compatibilidade de linguagem de indexação entre integrantes de um mesmo sistema cooperativo. Com o advento das tecnologias, foi possível pensar em cooperação entre bibliotecas e, conseqüentemente, em catalogação cooperativa. Esse novo panorama da catalogação trouxe um grande avanço para área: agilização da catalogação, diminuindo o tempo de serviço e otimizando esse processo, uma vez que há o aproveitamento de registros bibliográficos copiados de outras bases de dados. No entanto, houve outra conseqüência: o processo de identificação de assunto por meio da análise foi simplificado, reduzindo-o a uma simples operação de cópia , contemplando a forma do documento, e deixando de lado o conteúdo . Essa simplificação da prática nos remete a uma questão teórica e conceitual muito discutida, porém ainda não sedimentada, na área de Biblioteconomia: a conceituação de indexação e catalogação de assunto. A tese dessa pesquisa é considerar que as incoerências cometidas durante a indexação são resultados de desconhecimento da catalogação de forma e de conteúdo pelo bibliotecário, da ausência de política e manual de indexação para bibliotecas que serviriam como orientações ao trabalho do indexador e instrumento para sua formação em serviço, além de uma sistemática para identificação de conceitos. / The indexing policy must be represented by means of a philosophy that reflects the system's aims. One of the aspects concerning the indexing policy is relating to the data retrospective conversion and the compatibility of indexing language among members of a same cooperative system. The appearing of the technologies made it possible to think of cooperation among libraries and, consequentely, of cooperative cataloguing. The new scene of the cataloguing brought a great advance to the field: agility of cataloguing, decreasing the time of service and optimizing this process, since it is possible the utilization of bibliographic records copied from other databases. Nevertheless, there were other consequence: the process of subject's cataloguing (indexing) was simplified reducing it to a simple operation of copy, taking into account the document's form, disregarding the content. This practice simplification refers to a theoretical and high discussed conceptual matter, not yet well sedimented in Librarianship: the concept of indexing and subject cataloguing. The thesis of this research considers that the incoherences made during the indexing are results of non-discerment between descriptive cataloguing and subject cataloguing by the librarian, of the absence of policy and handbook of indexing for libraries which would be useful as guidelines to the indexer's work and instrument to his education in service, besides a systematics to identify concepts. We intend to present a theoretical methodological proposal for the working up of guidelines of indexing policy for the building of cooperative catalogs in university libraries, by means of the indexing process, from the socio-cognitive approach with librarians and users in the context of the university library, and in the conceptual perspective of the theoretical aspects that involve the indexing and the subject cataloguing.

The register and proper filling of these documents, taking care of the ethical and legal requirements, provide to the dentist the possibility to contribute with justice in cases of human identification and makes of these documents an essential element of evidence in the ethical processes, administrative, civil and criminal against the dentists. Ahead of this fact, understanding such requirements and the importance of the dentist to register himself adequately, this research verified the knowledge of Natal (RN) City s dentists with relation to the elaboration of the dental handbook, investigating the concepts and the importance attributed to the handbook, identifying the documents more used and filed by these professionals, besides inquiring the legal value of filed documents and the filling time of these ones. The sample was constituted by 124 dentists, who had answered a questionnaire, after having been randomly selected ITom a list of professionals subscribed in the Dentistry Local Council/RN Section. The analysis of the results showed that majority of the participant cit?zens (52,3%) confers to the dental documentation the clinical importance, followed by the legal and forensic-dentistry importance; 59,3% of the searched professionals do not distinguish satisfactorily or they do not observe differences between the dental handbook and the clinical filing card, the X-rays, the dental certificates, the prescriptions, the directions and the receipts; between the documents of common use to cl?nical and specialist ones, the contract of rendering of services and term of ITee and cleared up consent are the documents less used by the professionals. It was still verified, that only 13,1% of the sample register the signature of the patients in the clinical filing card, making it more credibility to be presented in judgement. In the same way, copies of dental certificates and prescriptions evaluated and signed by the patients are filed respectively by only 13,5% and 9,4% ofthe searched professionals and 50% ofthe sample, keep these documents filed for an indeterminate period of time, that is, these professionals have the guard of the handbook and they do not intend to disdain it, although 85,5% of the sample does not recognize the real proprietor of the handbook. It is concluded that a great part of the dentists is unaware about the importance of the dental documentation, and neglect its elaboration, leaving themselves exposed to several kinds of penalties foreseen in the legislation / A documenta??o odontol?gica ou prontu?rio odontol?gico ? uma cole??o de documentos produzidos pelo profissional, com finalidade diagn?stica e terap?utica, onde s?o registradas as informa??es inerentes ? sa?de bucal e geral dos pacientes. O registro e arquivamento correto destes documentos, atendendo as exig?ncias ?ticas e legais, proporcionam ao cirurgi?odentista a possibilidade de contribuir com a justi?a nos casos de identifica??o humana e faz destes documentos um elemento de prova essencial nos processos ?ticos, administrativos, civis e penais contra os cirurgi?es-dentistas. Diante deste fato, entendendo tais exig?ncias e a import?ncia do cirurgi?o-dentista documentar-se adequadamente, esta pesquisa verificou o conhecimento cirurgi?es-dentistas do munic?pio de Natal- RN com rela??o ? elabora??o do prontu?rio odontol?gico, investigando os conceitos e a import?ncia atribu?da ao prontu?rio, identificando os documentos mais utilizados e arquivados por estes profissionais, al?m averiguar o valor jur?dico dos documentos arquivados e o tempo de arquivamento destes. A amostra foi constitu?da por 124 cirurgi?es-dentistas, que responderam um question?rio, ap?s terem sido alocados aleatoriamente a partir de uma lista de profissionais cadastrados no Conselho Regional de Odontologia - RN. A an?lise dos resultados mostrou que maioria dos sujeitos participantes (52,3%) confere ? documenta??o odontol?gica a import?ncia cl?nica, seguida pela import?ncia jur?dica e odontolegal; 59,3% dos profissionais pesquisados n?o distinguem satisfatoriamente ou n?o observam diferen?as entre o prontu?rio odontol?gico e a ficha cl?nica; os documentos mais utilizados s?o a ficha cl?nica, as radiografias, os atestados, as receitas, os encaminhamentos e os recibos; entre os documentos de uso comum a cl?nicos e especialistas, o contrato de presta??o de servi?os e o termo de consentimento livre e esclarecido s?o os documentos menos utilizados por estes profissionais. Verificou-se, ainda, que apenas 13,1% da amostra registra a assinatura dos pacientes na ficha cl?nica, dando-lhe mais credibilidade para ser apresentada em ju?zo. Da mesma forma, c?pias de atestados e receitas avalizadas e assinadas pelos pacientes s?o arquivadas respectivamente por apenas 13,5% e 9,4 % dos profissionais pesquisados e 50% da amostra mant?m estes documentos arquivados por um tempo indeterminado, ou seja, estes profissionais t?m a guarda do prontu?rio e n?o pretendem desprez?-Io, apesar de 85,5% da amostra desconhecer o verdadeiro propriet?rio do prontu?rio. The aim of this thesis is to analyze Long-Term Care in the Czech Republic, to design a Quality Management System for Long-Term Care, and to demonstrate its practical application in Gerontological Centre. A Quality Management Handbook for Long-Term Care represents an additional aim of this thesis; it is designed for Health and Social organizations having a similar spectrum of activities. This work relies on document analysis - available scientific studies on long-term care, and literature focused on quality management. A significant part of the text is supported by our own practical experience and is reinforced by consultations with experts in senior care. ISO systems, TQM approaches, Standards of social services, and National accreditation standards for subsequent and long-term care SAK ČR (United Accreditation Commission of Czech Republic) have been used as a starting point for the proposed Quality Management System. The proposed system has a broad scope, including resources, processes and outputs. The systems used in practice have some common parts; therefore the proposed model may be easily modified to accommodate the specific requirements of individual certification authorities.

This material was influenced by the teachings of David Ausubel about meaningful learning and Lev Vygotsky, with the theory of acquiring knowledge through practical activity in a social environment. The study was developed during high school physics classes in Feira de Santana, Bahia, between 2014 and 2015, in which the students had to assembly the kits and observe physics and astronomical phenomena. In order to measure the knowledge acquired by the participants in this training process, we perform pre and post-tests with questions that allowed extract important results and conclusions. The results of the exams and evaluation of the methodology, submitted to a content analysis, indicated that students who saw reasoning as emerging through the assembly of the kits developed higher cognitive functions and showed greater interest and excitement in class, confirming that experimentation is one of the factors that most pleased the students during the lessons. This indicates the necessity of a new approach and use hands-on activities, even knowing that many strategies are already available, we believe that the use of MAE brings important contributions, which are described along this work. / Este trabalho apresenta os resultados da utiliza??o de um material did?tico chamado de Kit de Atividades Experimentais (KAE), no qual teve como finalidade a elabora??o de um Manual de Atividades Experimentais (MAE) para ensino nas ?reas de Astronomia, F?sica e Matem?tica, dentro de um contexto interdisciplinar. O trabalho foi embasado nas teorias dos pensadores David Ausubel (Teoria da Aprendizagem Significativa) e Lev Vygotsky (Teoria da Intera??o Social). A interven??o do trabalho cient?fico foi desenvolvida, na disciplina F?sica, junto a um grupo de estudantes do primeiro ano do Ensino M?dio de um Col?gio da rede particular de ensino de Feira de Santana - Bahia, entre os anos de 2014 e 2015, na qual os estudantes tiveram aulas de F?sica com a montagem dos referidos kits para observa??o e discuss?o de alguns fen?menos f?sicos e astron?micos. Com a finalidade de mediar o conhecimento adquirido pelos participantes dentro deste processo de forma??o, realizamos neste trabalho pr? e p?s-testes com quest?es que permitiram extrair importantes resultados e conclus?es. Nesse sentido, os resultados do p?s-teste e da Avalia??o da Metodologia, submetidos a uma an?lise de conte?do, indicaram que os alunos que participaram do desenvolvimento dos kits conseguiram apropriar-se mais dos conceitos, al?m de demonstrarem mais interesse nas aulas e empolga??o com o trabalho da constru??o dos kits, ratificando que a experimenta??o ? um dos fatores que mais agradaram ao longo das aulas. Do exposto acima, podemos concluir neste trabalho a necessidade de se pensar em uma nova abordagem na utiliza??o de atividades pr?ticas, mesmo sabendo que j? existam diversas estrat?gias bem sucedidas, acreditamos que a utiliza??o do MAE trar? importantes contribui??es que s?o descritas ao longo da metodologia desse trabalho.

In der letzten Periode des Sonderforschungsbereichs 532 wurde eine benutzerfreundliche Internetplattform für den Verbundwerkstoff Textilbeton entwickelt. Die Plattform beinhaltet auf verschiedenen Ebenen umfassende Informationen über Textilbeton, die in Form eines digitalen Handbuchs aufbereitet sind. Präsentiert werden unter anderem die Möglichkeiten des Bauens mit Textilbeton, die Bauteilbemessung, die materialspezifischen Festigkeits- und Verbundeigenschaften sowie verschiedene Produktionstechnologien. Mit der neuen Internetpräsentation wird der Transfer der Forschungsergebnisse in die Baupraxis gezielt unterstützt, und der Baustoff Textilbeton wird der breiten Öffentlichkeit anschaulich näher gebracht. / Within the last period of the collaborative research center SFB 532 a user friendly internet platform for textile reinforced concrete was developed. The platform provides various information about textile reinforce concrete on different information levels, which are combined in a digital handbook for textile reinforced concrete. The platform presents application examples of textile reinforced concrete, design rules for different types of construction elements, material and bond characteristics, production technologies and other helpful information for the practical application of textile reinforced concrete. The internet platform will support the transfer of the research results into the building practice and demonstrate the wide range of applications with textile reinforced concrete.

Studie- och yrkesvägledarprofessionen: att yrkeslegitimera eller inte yrkeslegitimera / The Study and Career Guidance Counsellor Profession: Professional License or no Professional License

The purpose of this study is to investigate how study and career guidance counsellors view their profession in connection with a professional license with the main questions being: 1.     Should a professional licensing card for study and career guidance counsellors be introduced? 2.     How would a professional licensing affect the professionalization of the study and career guidance counsellors’ profession? This study is made from the perspective of professional study and career guidance counsellors and is intended for them, school leaders, employers, and politicians within school-working life, to hopefully develop the professional role, status and competence of study and career guidance counsellors. A quantitative method was used to gather information from working professionals through a survey that was published in different social media forums such as LinkedIn and Facebook. The survey was also sent out to people within the writer’s social network. The NICE handbook by Schiersmann, Ertelt, Katsarov, Mulvey, Reid och Weber (2012) has been used to analyse the results given by the respondents and has been the basis of this study. The main result shows that from a study and career guidance counsellor perspective, a professional licensing would be beneficial for the profession and is sought after. However, the results show that licensing is more sought after within the world of academics. This is due to the varying work and work titles that study and career guidance counsellors outside of the academic world have, thus a professional license might act more restricting rather than being a step towards professionalisation.

The purpose of this study is to document the history and the contributing factors that led to the formation of the Current Teaching Emphasis (2003), the Objective (2009), and the Gospel Teaching and Learning Handbook (2012) within Seminaries and Institutes of Religion (S&I) for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The analysis of this history, contained herein, clearly identifies the principles that have driven the changes in S&I's description of teaching and learning, describes how these adjustments differ from previous approaches, illustrates the significance of this shift, and presents the contemporary issues that influenced the increased clarity and direction from senior Church leaders to S&I.
