I here present the subject's response to anguish, especially in passage to the act and acting-out, recurring in the clinical case analyzed. I approach the discursive structure of hysteria and hysterical madness, both of them associated to a complaint of father's inadequacy and an insistent demand for the Other to supply to the overflowing inward. I also mention the differences in paternal function in psychosis and in hysteria, the constitution of the subject – based on The Time of Oedipus –, and Lacan’s Mirror Stage. Finally, from the theoretical-clinical articulation, I develop the treatment conduction, from transference management to possible subjective constructions / Tomando como base o caso clínico, estre trabalho articula o conceito de loucura histérica como uma condição que participa da neurose histérica e tem manifestações radicais e severas, muitas vezes semelhantes a um surto psicótico devido à proporção de suas manifestações dissociativas e de suas excessivas crises que parecem uma ruptura, como na psicose. Apresento as respostas do sujeito frente à angústia, principalmente na passagem ao ato e acting-out, recorrentes no caso clínico analisado. Abordo a estrutura discursiva da histeria e da loucura histérica, ambas associadas a uma queixa de insuficiência do pai e a uma insistente demanda de que o Outro dê conta do interno que transborda. Aludo às diferenças da função paterna na psicose e na histeria, a constituição do sujeito – por meio dos tempos do Édipo –, e o estádio do espelho de Lacan. Por fim, a partir da articulação teórico-clínica, desenvolvo a condução do tratamento, desde o manejo da transferência até possíveis construções subjetivas

Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / Esta dissertação propõe investigar o sintoma anoréxico na estrutura neurótica como um sintoma contemporâneo em consequência da baixa operatividade da função paterna e da incidência avassaladora do Desejo Materno. A pesquisa foi iniciada por um levantamento histórico-bibliográfico do jejum e da recusa alimentar ao longo da história, até o estabelecimento da anorexia como uma psicopatologia. Para dar sustentação ao eixo central desta Dissertação, a pesquisa explora o conceito de pai na Obra de Freud e no ensino de Lacan, investigando a baixa operatividade desta função e seus efeitos na formação do sintoma. O conceito de pulsão é explorado com o objetivo de compreender a anorexia como uma invasão pulsional no corpo decorrente da precária sustentação da armadura simbólica que a lei paterna insere. Deste modo, esta Dissertação expõe duas hipóteses centrais: a anorexia como uma manobra de separação, operação que a função paterna não inscreve devidamente e desta forma um recurso diante da hegemonia materna; e a anorexia como estragos que apontam a invasão da mortífera pulsão no corpo, decorrentes da presença avassaladora do Outro materno e da inconsistência da função paterna / The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the anorexic symptom in the neurotic structure as a contemporary symptom resulting from the low operatibility of the paternal role and the overwhelming incidence of the Maternal Desire. The research was initiated by a historical-bibliographical survey of fasting and food refusing throughout history, until the establishment of anorexia as a psychopathology. Giving support to the control axis of this thesis, the research explores the father concept in the work of Freud and Lacans teaching, investigating the low operability of this function and its effects on symptom formation. The drive concept is explored in order to understand anorexia as an encroachment drive in the body due to the precarious support of the symbolic armor that the paternal law inserts. Thus, this thesis exposes two central hypotheses: anorexia as a separation ploy, an operation that the paternal function does not fulfil properly and, therefore, is not an appeal in the face of maternal hegemony, and anorexia as damages that point the invasion of deadly drive in the body, arising from the overwhelming presence of the Maternal Other and of the inconsistency of the paternal function

We present results of an experimental and theoretical study of the magnetic properties of soft magnetic gels consisting of micron-sized magnetizable particles embedded in a polymer matrix. Experiments demonstrate hysteretic dependences of composite magnetization on an applied magnetic field and non-monotonic, with maximum, dependence of the sample susceptibilities on the field. We propose a theoretical approach which describes the main physical features of these experimental results.

It begins with a discussion of the proximity between psychoanalysis and education as two distinct epistemological fields until it reaches the point where Freud comprehends them as impossible discursive positions. The main used tool is the theory of discourse by Jacques Lacan, a reinterpretation of the three impossible Freudians. With it, is undertaken the investment of thinking the discursive contingencies predominantly present in the time period comprehended between the end of the Middle Ages and nowadays. The enjoyment [jouissance] modalizations for each discourse are presented and their corresponding way of education. Of the five discourses thought by Lacan master, hysterical, university, capitalist and analytical it is given a stronger focus to those considered politically hegemonic nowadays: the university and the capitalist. A discursive change between the first and the second is utilized to approach the transformations that occurred in the time period in which production capitalism gives way to consumer capitalism, or late capitalism. Its final goal is to discuss and raise questions on how the uneasiness nowadays is configured and how the hegemonic discourse engender the subjectivities of the subjects in education and society. For this, it will work with the contingent and historic, and not only structural of the Lacanian subject, covering and articulating the theoretical contributions of several authors who dedicated themselves to thinking about the themes that compose this subject / Nessa dissertação pretende-se dirigir um olhar para as impossibilidades do educar a partir de cada uma das formas discursivas que ele pode assumir nas sociedades. Inicia-se com um discussão da aproximação entre psicanálise e educação como dois campos epistemológicos distintos até chegar ao ponto em que Freud os compreende como impossíveis posições discursivas. A principal ferramenta utilizada é a teoria dos discursos de Jacques Lacan, uma releitura dos três impossíveis freudianos. Com ela, é empreendido o investimento de pensar as contingências discursivas predominantemente presentes no período compreendido entre o final da Idade Média e os dias de hoje. São apresentadas as modalizações de gozo referentes a cada discurso e sua correspondente forma de educar. Dos cinco discursos ensinados por Lacan mestre, histérico, universitário, capitalista e analítico é dado maior enfoque àqueles considerados politicamente hegemônicos nos dias de hoje: o universitário e o capitalista. Uma mudança discursiva entre o primeiro e o segundo é utilizada para abordar as transformações ocorridas no período em que se deu a passagem do capitalismo de produção para o capitalismo de consumo, ou capitalismo tardio. O objetivo final é discutir e levantar questões sobre como se configura o mal-estar nos dias de hoje e como os discursos hegemônicos engendram as subjetividades dos sujeitos na educação e na sociedade. Para tanto, trabalhará com o aspecto contingente e histórico, e não unicamente estrutural do sujeito lacaniano, percorrendo e articulando as contribuições teóricas dos diversos autores que se dedicaram a pensar sobre os temas que compõem esse assunto
