The Relationships between Perceptions of Organizational Politics and Employees' Resignation Inclinations Cpmparison and Analysis for Different IndustriesChiang, Shiau-Lin 10 February 2003 (has links)
Abstract
The employee left no matter voluntarily non-voluntarily from any organization, high turnover rate means increasing the time and cost of recruiting, selecting and training employee. Further more, it will reduce the competitiveness for any industry leading to non-effective operation, difficult to remain intellectual property as well. It surely is impairment to an organization.
As critical employee left with preventable reason such as sensed with any political problem within the organization then it¡¦s not a good situation to any firm. Hence, the Company should try to reduce the bad impact from conception of organizational politics would improve the high turnover rate.
This researcher intends to see the relationships between perceptions of organizational politics and employees¡¦ resignation inclinations and compare the difference of private organizations. The perceptions of organizational politics scale was translated by An-ming Lee according to Kacmar K. M., Carlson D. S. (1997), and resignation inclinations scale was modified by Chin-ming Ho according to Kai-yi Huang (1984). To analyze 948 effective examples by SPSS program of Correlation Analysis, One-way Anova analysis, Scheffe multiple comparisons, Regression Analysis, etc. and try to get the variables and the result of the research,

(1) For general service industry, people who have high-level manager would have the less perceptive for general political behavior than any position. And for high-tech manufacturer , technical staffs have the significant difference for general political behavior than middle-level manager.

Previous issue date: 2016-09-21 / Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo / This research on the career in the perception of the black woman is inserted in the research line of organizations and society of the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo’s Administration Program, having as an objective to analyze the perception of black woman on her own career, seeking to identify the concept of professional development, career redirection pretensions, the possible obstacles related to gender and race elements during the professional development. In addition, identifying the career anchors associating them with current assignments and mapped career expectations. The choice for the study on this subject took place based on the fact that the researcher identify herself with these women in various contexts, also because of realizing that there is little research on this subject. Another initiative that motivates to carry out this research took place from the perception of the difficulties faced by these women to plan their careers that end up limiting their professional performances and exposing them to the unequal conditions of access, restricting their opportunities. To outline the theoretical foundation on career, it was used the concepts of authors such as Dutra and Veloso (2010), Martins (2011), Ibarra (2009), Briscoe and Hall (2006), Schein (1996) among others. On approach to the story of a black woman, considered themselves the sheep studies Carneiro (2003), Safiotti (2004), Munanga (2006), Oracy Nogueira (2006), among other renowned authors who talk about gender and race, as well as social indicators that clarify the context of inequality in which are included the black women. The present study of a qualitative nature, made a research field with the application of a semi-structured interview and with an inventory of career anchors through the interview of ten women and the data were gathered and processed by means of descriptive statistics and content analysis proposed by Bardin (2011). The results not only confirm the inequalities that plague these women, but also allow you to extend the knowledge about the conditions of life, professional dynamics and difficulties to enter and thrive in the labor market, highlighting the importance of thinking about intervention measures aimed at the reduction of the inequalities which can meet specific aspects of black women / Esta pesquisa sobre a carreira na percepção da mulher negra está inserida na linha de Pesquisa de Organizações e Sociedade, do Programa de Administração, da Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo, tendo por objetivo analisar a percepção da mulher negra sobre a própria carreira, buscando identificar a noção de processo de desenvolvimento profissional, as pretensões de redirecionamento da carreira, os possíveis obstáculos relacionados aos elementos gênero e raça durante o desenvolvimento profissional, além de identificar as âncoras de carreira associando-as com as atribuições atuais e as expectativas de carreira mapeadas. A escolha pelo estudo acerca do tema ocorreu pelo fato de a pesquisadora se identificar com essas mulheres em vários contextos, além de perceber que há poucas pesquisas sobre o assunto. Outra iniciativa que motivou a realização dessa pesquisa ocorreu da percepção das dificuldades enfrentadas por essas mulheres para planejarem suas carreiras que acabam limitando suas atuações profissionais e expondo-as às condições desiguais de acesso, restringindo suas oportunidades. Para o delineamento da fundamentação teórica sobre carreira, utilizou-se das concepções de autores como Dutra e Veloso (2010), Martins (2011), Ibarra (2009), Briscoe e Hall (2006), Schein (1996) entre outros. Na abordagem sobre a história da mulher negra, consideraram-se os estudos de Carneiro (2003), Safiotti (2004), Munanga (2006), Oracy Nogueira (2006), entre outros renomados autores que discorrem sobre gênero e raça, além de indicadores sociais que esclarecem sobre o contexto de desigualdade em que estão inseridas as mulheres negras. O presente trabalho, de natureza qualitativa, valeu-se da pesquisa de campo com a aplicação de entrevista semiestrutura e do inventário de âncoras de carreira com dez entrevistadas, sendo os dados coletados e tratados por meio de estatística descritiva e da análise de conteúdo proposta por Bardin (2011). Os resultados obtidos não apenas ratificam as desigualdades que afligem essas mulheres, mas também permitem ampliar o conhecimento sobre as condições de vida, dinâmica profissional e as dificuldades para adentrar e prosperar no mercado de trabalho, evidenciando-se sobre a importância de se pensar em medidas de intervenção voltadas para a redução das desigualdades que atendam aspectos específicos das mulheres negras

Объектом структурные и динамические особенности эмоционального выгорания и характеристики эмоционального интеллекта у женщин-инструкторов в сфере фитнеса. Предметом взаимосвязь между структурными и динамическими характеристиками синдрома выгорания у женщин-инструкторов в сфере фитнеса и структурными особенности эмоционального интеллекта, коммуникативных и организаторских склонностей. Магистерская диссертация состоит из введения, трех глав, заключения, списка литературы (62 источников) и приложения, включающего в себя бланк анкеты и таблицы с полученными статистическими данными. Объем магистерской диссертации 90 страниц, на которых размещены 13 рисунков и 11 таблиц. Во введении раскрывается актуальность проблемы исследования, ставятся цель и задачи исследования, определяются объект и предмет исследования, формулируется основная гипотеза исследования, практическая и теоретическая ценность работы, научная новизна, а также указываются методы исследования. Первая глава включает в себя обзор иностранной и отечественной литературы по теме эмоционального выгорания, эмоционального интеллекта и коммуникативных особенностей. Представлены разделы, посвященные теоретических и практических подходов к изучаемым феноменам, анализу исследований посвященных изучению связи данных феноменов между собой. Выводы по первой главе представляют собой итоги по изучению теоретического материала. Вторая глава посвящена описанию процедуры исследования. Она включает в себя цели, задачи и гипотезы эмпирического исследования, описание выборки, а также процедуры проведения и описание характеристик методик, которые применялись в ходе выполнения работы. Третья глава посвящена эмпирической части исследования. В ней представлено описание результатов, полученных по всем использованным методикам: опроснику «Профессиональное выгорание», опроснику «Методика диагностики уровня эмоционального выгорания» В. В. The subject is the relationship between the structural and dynamic characteristics of burnout syndrome in female fitness instructors and structural features of emotional intelligence, communicative and organizational inclinations. The master's thesis consists of an introduction, three chapters, a conclusion, a list of references (62 sources) and an appendix, which includes a questionnaire form and tables with the statistical data obtained. The volume of the master's thesis is 90 pages, on which 13 figures and 11 tables are placed. In the introduction, the relevance of the research problem is revealed, the goal and objectives of the research are set, the object and subject of the study are determined, the main hypothesis of the study is formulated, the practical and theoretical value of the work, scientific novelty, and research methods are indicated. The first chapter includes a review of foreign and domestic literature on the topic of emotional burnout, emotional intelligence and communicative features. The sections devoted to theoretical and practical approaches to the studied phenomena, the analysis of studies devoted to the study of the interrelationship of these phenomena are presented. The conclusions of the first chapter are the results of the study of theoretical material. The second chapter is devoted to the description of the research procedure. It includes the goals, objectives and hypotheses of an empirical study, a description of the sample, as well as the procedures for conducting and a description of the characteristics of the methods that were used for investigation. The third chapter is devoted to the empirical part of the study. It describes the results obtained by all the methods used: the questionnaire "Professional burnout", the questionnaire "Methodology for diagnosing the level of emotional burnout" by V. V. Boyko, the methodology "EQ" by N. Hall, the methodology for diagnosing emotional intelligence "MEI" by M. A. Manoilova, the questionnaire "Communicative and organizational inclinations" by V. V. Sinyakovsky and V. A. Fedoroshina. The chapter also presents a correlation analysis of the results of the study. The conclusions of Chapter 3 include the main results of an empirical study. In conclusion, the results of the theoretical and empirical parts of the work are summarized, as well as conclusions on the hypotheses put forward, the practical significance of the study is substantiated and possible prospects for further development of this problem are described.

The subject of the study was the psychological correlates of the choice of profession by senior students. The introduction reveals the relevance of the research problem, the development of problems, the purpose and objectives of the study are defined, the object and subject of the study are defined, the main hypothesis is formulated, the research methods are specified. The first Chapter includes a review of foreign and domestic literature on the topic of the study. The first sub-Chapter includes a description of approaches to the study of motivation. The second includes a description of approaches to motivating the choice of profession in psychology in General and to the study of motives in particular. The conclusions of the first Chapter are the results of the study of the theoretical. The second Chapter is devoted to the empirical part of the study. It describes the organization and methods studies and results obtained by all used methods: "Test of life-meaningful orientations" (D. A. Leontiev), "Determining inclinations of the individual to various spheres of professional activity" Methods Youichi in adapting Resorcinol, "Determination of the basic motives of choice of profession" (Pavlyutenkov E. Promoting entrepreneurs and economic growth through entrepreneurship programmes : a new role of Saudi universitiesAlmahdi, Hassan January 2015 (has links)
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) is a wealthy country but faces multiple economic and social challenges. Economically, the country depends almost entirely on a single natural resource i.e. oil, which will be eventually exhausted. About sixty seven percent of Saudi’s native population is under 30 years of age and about 30 percent of 15-29 years old Saudis are unemployed. The country thus needs to diversify its economy and create job opportunities for its young unemployed population. A way forward in this regard could be supporting and promoting young people to engage in economic and entrepreneur activities, which could be facilitated by entrepreneurship education. Entrepreneurship has long been considered as a driver of innovation, a generator of employment opportunities and a potential wealth creator for both individuals and organisations. Academic literature supports the belief that with appropriate entrepreneurship education the number of would-be entrepreneurs can be increased. This study investigated the impact of entrepreneurship education programmes (EEPs) on entrepreneurial attitudes and intentions amongst university students in the KSA. The conceptual model tested in this research was based on the Theory of Planned Behaviour. Based on a quantitative approach, a self-administered questionnaire was distributed to two groups: participants studying entrepreneurship courses as part of their degrees (to be known as EEPs Group) and participants not undertaking any entrepreneurship studies as part of their courses (Control Group). The data collection took place at the beginning of the semester (Pre-test/t1) in April 2010 and at the end of the semester (Post-test/t2) in July 2010. After screening, a final matched sample of 491 completed questionnaires for the EEPs Group and 184 for the Control Group was used for data analysis. The results of this empirical study revealed that the intention to become self-employed was positively and significantly correlated to attitudes regarding self-employment, to subjective norms and to perceived behavioural control. However, for entrepreneurial education, the intention to become self-employed was neither positively nor significantly correlated with new business start-up activities. For policy-makers in KSA, the study provides useful insights into the situation of entrepreneurship education, will aid planners in universities and the KSA government to address unemployment of young by creating greater entrepreneurial awareness, and thus, hopefully, jobs through entrepreneurship activities. This study has confirmed that EEPs has a significant contribution in developing entrepreneurial attitudes among university students. Thus, entrepreneurial skills could be inculcated in the younger Saudi generation early on in their lives by institutionalising enterprising and entrepreneurship knowledge, skills and culture through education and learning starting from the high school level to the university level. In addition, there is a need for changing behaviour and intentions towards, and creating awareness about, entrepreneurship and self-employment among Saudis using different channels of communications such as the electronic media including the social media.

DESEMPENHO DE DOSADORES DE FERTILIZANTES DE SEMEADORAS-ADUBADORAS EM LINHAS / FERTILIZERS METERING MECHANISM PERFORMANCE OF SEEDS AND FERTILIZERS DRILLS IN LINESBonotto, Gustavo José 16 August 2012 (has links)
Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico / This dissertation aimed at comparing the performance of five (5) fertilizer metering mechanism, utilized at seed and fertilizer drill in lines, relating to its longitudinal distribution of fertilizers, its uniformity of flow according to its longitudinal function and its transverse inclinations and different levels of the reservoir. This research was developed in the Agriculture Machinery Laboratory of Research and Development (LASERG), in the Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM). Experiments were conduct in the lab, using a counter for tests of fertilizer metering mechanism . Three metering mechanism with auger-type element have been evaluated, one with a transverse discharge through overflow, one with overflow and discharge to the side and the other with gravity discharge of fertilizers, and also the mechanisms of type fluted cilinder and star wheel. Essays were performed with three fertilizers, granule mixture 02-20-20, 16-16-16 granulated mixture and blending mash 00-15-30. It was observed that in the longitudinal distribution of fertilizers, the coefficients of variation of the mechanisms were evaluated over 30%, and the metering mechanism, auger-type transverse discharge through overflow and fluted cilinder, who had a more uniform distribution. In relation to the longitudinal inclination, all feeders had significant change in their dosages, however, the coefficient of variation of the auger-type with overflow and discharge to the side and star wheel, were lower than 10%. In tests with different slopes transverse changes were observed in less than 5%, with the auger-type transverse discharge through overflow, auger-type with discharge by gravity and fluted cilinder those who achieved the best performance. Depending on the different levels of the reservoir, the average coefficient of variation was less than 3%, and the auger-type type were more uniform in relation to this factor. / Este trabalho teve por objetivo comparar o desempenho de cinco mecanismos dosadores de fertilizantes, utilizados em semeadoras-adubadoras em linhas, quanto a sua distribuição longitudinal de fertilizantes, uniformidade de vazão em função de inclinações longitudinais e transversais e diferentes níveis de reservatório. A pesquisa foi realizada no Laboratório de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento de Máquinas Agrícolas (LASERG), da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria. Os experimentos foram conduzidos em laboratório, utilizando-se uma bancada para ensaios de mecanismos dosadores de fertilizantes. Foram avaliados três dosadores com elemento transportador sem-fim, um com descarga por transbordo transversal, um com transbordo e descarga lateral e outro com descarga de fertilizantes por gravidade, e ainda, os mecanismos do tipo rotor acanalado e disco estrela. Os ensaios foram realizados com três fertilizantes, mistura de grânulos 02-20-20, mistura granulada 16-16-16 e mistura farelada 00-15-30. Foi possível observar que na distribuição longitudinal de fertilizantes, os coeficientes de variação dos mecanismos avaliados foram superiores a 30%, sendo os dosadores sem-fim com transbordo transversal e rotor acanalado, os que obtiveram maior uniformidade de distribuição. Em relação às inclinações longitudinais, todos os dosadores tiveram alterações significativas em sua dosagem, no entanto, o coeficiente de variação médio dos dosadores sem-fim com transbordo e descarga lateral, sem-fim com transbordo transversal e disco estrela, foram inferiores a 10%. Nos ensaios com diferentes inclinações transversais, foram observadas variações na vazão, inferiores a 5%, sendo os dosadores sem-fim com transbordo transversal, sem-fim com descarga por gravidade e rotor acanalado aqueles que alcançaram os melhores desempenhos. Em função dos diferentes níveis de reservatório, os coeficientes de variação médios foram inferiores a 3%, e os dosadores do tipo sem-fim foram os mais uniformes em relação a este fator.

The relevance of the research is based on the need to study the factors affecting the professional self-determination of adolescents and young men, including their communicative skills and the characteristics of peer groups, to which young people belong and are affected by. The aim of the research was to study the interrelationship between the indicators of professional self-determination and the communication skill levels in adolescents and young men. Hypothesis of the research: 1. In adolescent boys, unlike teenage girls, the choice of profession is more uncertain. 2. Schoolchildren and students have significant links between the indicators of professional self-determination and their communication skill levels. 3. There is a link between the indicators of professional self-determination and belonging to the group. In the empirical study, the following methods were used: "The Personal Professional Path" questionnaire edited by N. Pryazhnikov, the "Differential-diagnostic Questionnaire" by E. Klimova, the method "Communication and Organizational Propensity" (COS-2) by V. Sinyavsky and B. Fedorishin, the "Sociometry" Method by J. Moreno. The sample of 159 people consisted of students of the 7th and 10th grades, students of the Ural Federal University. The external and internal motives of choosing a profession by adolescents and young men were examined and empirically studied, secondly, the relationship between the choice of profession and professional inclinations, and thirdly, the interrelation of communicative and professional inclinations. The first hypothesis was confirmed by the positive correlation between communicative inclinations and professional intentions in the category "man-man" in respondents. The second hypothesis was partially confirmed: in two classes and in one student group, the differences between the mini-groups were determined by the criterion of professional inclinations, i.e. professional inclinations can be a factor uniting the students in mini-groups, but the final professional choice within the groups is different, therefore, determined by other factors. / Актуальность исследования связана с необходимостью изучения факторов, влияющих на профессиональное самоопределение подростков и юношей, к числу которых относятся их коммуникативное качества, а также особенности групп сверстников, к которым принадлежат молодые люди и испытывают на себе их влияние. Цель исследования заключалась в изучении взаимосвязи показателей профессионального самоопределения и сформированности коммуникативных качеств личности в подростковом и юношеском возрасте. Гипотезы исследования: 1. У подростков-юношей, в отличие от подростков-девушек, выбор профессии отличается большей неопределенностью. 2. У школьников и студентов имеются значимые связи между показателями профессионального самоопределения и сформированностью коммуникативных качеств. 3. Существует связь между показателями профессионального самоопределения и принадлежностью к группе. В эмпирическом исследовании использовались следующие методики: анкета «Личный профессиональный путь» под редакцией Н. С. Пряжникова, «Дифференциально-диагностический опросник» Е. А. Климова, методика «Коммуникативные и организационные склонности» (КОС – 2) В. В. Синявский, Б. А. Федоришина, методика «Социометрия» Дж. Морено. Выборка в количестве 159 человек состояла из учащихся 7-х и 10-х классов, студентов Уральского федерального университета. Были рассмотрены и эмпирически исследованы внешние и внутренние мотивы выбора профессии у подростков и юношей, во-вторых, взаимосвязь выбора профессии и профессиональных склонностей, в-третьих, взаимосвязь коммуникативных и профессиональных склонностей. Первая гипотеза подтверждена наличием у респондентов положительной корреляции между коммуникативными склонностями и профессиональными намерениями в категории «человек – человек». Вторая гипотеза подтвердилась частично: в двух классах и одной студенческой группе выявлены различия между мини-группами по критерию профессиональных склонностей, т.е. профессиональные склонности могут быть фактором, объединяющим в мини-группы учащихся, но окончательный профессиональный выбор внутри групп различен, следовательно, определяется и другими факторами.
