Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur socialsekreterare inom individ- och familjeomsorg erfar att Covid-19-pandemin har påverkat deras arbetssätt och möten med klienter. Studien bygger på en kvalitativ undersökning med semistrukturerade intervjuer. Intervjumaterial från åtta yrkesverksamma socialsekreterare samlades in och analyserades genom en kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Resultatet visar att socialsekreterares arbetssätt i möten med klienter i större utsträckning har övergått från fysiska möten till digitala till följd av Covid-19-pandemin. Resultatet visar att de fysiska mötena är en del av det sociala arbetet, och socialsekreterare behöver göra en bedömning när fysiska möten inte går att utesluta. Viktiga faktorer i klientens livssituation missas till följd av de uteblivna fysiska mötena som för med sig konsekvenser för klienten. Att skapa relationer till klienter via digital kommunikation ses som en större utmaning än via fysisk möten. Nya klienter riskerar att inte få den individanpassade hjälp som de har rätt till. Vidare visar resultatet att telefon- och videomöten sparar resurser, frigör tid samt möjliggör ett mer flexibelt arbetssätt. Resultatet visar att uppkopplingen och teknologin kan utgöra ett hinder för digital kommunikation samt att samverkansmöten över digitala enheter är komplicerade. / The aim of this study is to investigate how social workers in the field of individual and familycare experience that the Covid-19-pandemic has influenced their working methods and meetings. The study is based on a qualitative survey with semi-structured interviews. Data was obtained from eight social workers. The interview material was analysed through a qualitative content analysis. The results show that the working methods in encounters with clients have shifted to a greater extent from physical meetings to digital client encounter as a result of the Covid-19-pandemic. The results show that physical encounter is part of social work, and social workers need to make an assessment when physical encounters cannot be excluded. Important factors in the client's life situation can be missed as a result of the missed physical meetings that can bring devastating consequences for the client. Creating relationships with clients through digital communication is seen as a greater challenge than through physical meetings. New clients risk not getting the personalized help to which they are entitled. Furthermore, the results show that digital meetings save resources, free up time and enable a more flexible way of working. The results show that connectivity and technology can be an obstacle to digital communication and that collaborative meetings across digital devices are complicated.

Allt fler tjänstemän inom statlig myndighet vittnar om hot och trakasserier på arbetsplatsen. Forskning visar att hot och våld förekommer i stor utsträckning men att mörkertalet är stort då de anställda anser att det är en del av arbetet och inte något att rapportera. Syftet med uppsatsen är att ta reda på hur tjänstemännen på Migrationsverket upplever hot och våld på arbetsplatsen och få en förståelse för hur detta påverkar tjänstemännen och deras arbete. Uppsatsen utgår från teorierna om gräsrotsbyråkrati, handlingsutrymme och klientrelationer. Vi har intervjuat åtta handläggare på Migrationsverket och vår analys visar att det förekommer hot och våld i stor utsträckning. Detta anmäls sällan då det inte anses leda någon vart. Negativa beslut leder ofta till att klienten blir aggressiv och i flera fall försöker påverka beslutet genom hot och/eller mutor. Tjänstemännen vittnar om en psykisk påfrestning i sin arbetsmiljö och anser att säkerheten bör höjas samt att vikten av att vara tydlig och väl förberedd inför mötet med klienten ska påtalas tydligare.

This thesis is focused on requirements analysis of a sawmill company for a new timber stock evidence system and based on the analysis describes the process of development of the system. The process covers architecture and structure design as well as data storage solution. Apart from the development stage itself, it also covers the implementation of the system in the company’s environment and economic evaluation of the process. The system is being developed using the Javascript programming language and uses modern technologies such as React, Node.js and MongoDB.

This diploma thesis deals with the realization of a server application for distributed calculations programmed on .NET platform and in C # language in development environment Visual Studio 2015. The diploma thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, the thesis deals with technologies, which are needed for implementation of the application. Here is how each technology is used and set up to serve the purpose of the master's thesis. In the theoretical part, functionality is shown in the examples. The practical part describes the layout of the application and the functionality of the individual part of the application. The architecture of each part of the application is presented in the UML class diagram.

This work deals with timetabling problems at the Faculty of Information Technology of Brno University of Technology. The aim of this thesis is to design and implement new application to support manual timetable planning, that will offer some innovations in comparison with current state. Implemented application is based on client-server architecture, at which client and server communicate by means of REST interface. Application offers functions for preprocessing of input data, as well as functions for analysis of created timetables. Data can be exported in HTML format.

This thesis is dedicated to security of client-server applications running on Windows platform. In the beginning chapters it is possible to find motivation, about why this type of security is important. Following content describes some elements of used architecture and elements of operating system Windows. The core of the work contains techniques and tools used by the attacker and protection against them. In following chapter there is a design and implementation of the security solution based on the previous theory. This solution is then tested against various threats, to verify its effectivity.

This thesis is focused on problems of an interactive distant education with usage of virtual classroom as a software communication tool. The short analysis of types of human communication and education is followed by a description of virtual classroom systems in a very basic point of view like what the virtual classroom is and what its usage is and what advantages these systems have. Furthermore, potentialities and supported tools and functions of today’s commercial and also non-commercial products are described including illustrative examples and focus to potential types of network communication implementation. Next section of the thesis presents possibilities of virtual classroom software development as completely web-based application or as desktop application where usage of different programming languages is considered. After that, videoconference as a often used tool in virtual classroom is described and its demands on the ways and types of realization and implementation are stated. The second part of this thesis creates about three quarters of whole document and is dedicated to description of my own realization of virtual classroom system as a built-in-java desktop application communicating across a built-in-java server desktop application. The first section of this part introduces a basic design and concept of the system including its implemented tools for the distant education. The following chapters describe in details each implemented tool and function from the potential user point of view and also developer point of view.

The topic of the master's thesis is about transmission of multimedia via network with help of compression’s algorithm used in codec MPEG-4 part 10 and Real Time Protocol (RTP). First part of this master thesis will be familiarization with basic terms about multimedia. It will be queried about techniques of compression axioms for audio and video, justification for necessary use of compression in transmitting multimedia via network. Also, here will be subscribed principles and properties of Real Time Protocol, which was designed for multimedia stream. From the start, competent codec for implementation of two applications (client, server) with read raw video and audio data, will choose the following : compression with help of codec Theora (Vorbis), transfer via network in RTP packets, decode and play at visual form for end user. Complete subscription of implementation for both applications written in programming languages C/C++ and Java, will be certain. The basic overview about this problematic experience with implementation, which were here concluded, are the reasons for reading this master thesis.
