El proyecto de inversión denominado, Propuesta para el Mejoramiento en la infraestructura vial y urbana de la Urbanización Urrunaga sector I en el distrito de Jose Leonardo Ortiz-provincia de Chiclayo-departamento de Lambayeque-Perú, con el fin de mejorar la infraestructura vial y urbana de la Urbanización Urrunaga en el sector I, bajo el programa de integral de barrios marginales, que busca mejorar las condiciones de vida de los beneficiarios de la respectiva zona de estudio, mediante este proyecto se analizó el diagnóstico actual del área mencionado, en el que se determinó las condiciones de vivienda y recreación que se encuentra en el área de estudio seleccionada, así mismo se realizó dos propuestas de alternativas para evaluar cual sería la más adecuada, siendo ganadora la alternativa 2 con un monto de inversión del proyecto bajo los precios privados es de S/ 14,608,265.53 y el monto de inversión del proyecto a precios sociales corresponde a S/ 13,481,628.06, siendo más viable que la alternativa 1, finalmente se concluyó que el proyecto presentado será sostenible en e l tiempo, debido a que la Municipalidad distrital de Jose Leonardo Ortiz será la entidad que asuma los respectivos gastos para la ejecución del proyecto, además contaran con el apoyo de la población de Urrunaga para la preservación de su zona de residencia.

La investigación permitió el proceso de construcción y estandarización de un test que detecte discalculia, el tipo de investigación es tecnológico psicométrico y se realizó en niños de 2° y 3° grado de educación primaria de Instituciones Educativas Nacionales Primarias de una urbanización del distrito de J.L.O - Chiclayo, 2015. Para la realización eficaz de los procesos antes mencionados, se utilizó el programa Microsoft Office Excel 2013 iniciándose por la validación de reactivos y tabla de especificaciones mediante el criterio de jueces, posteriormente se realizó la validación de reactivos por medio del proceso de Correlación Ítem – Test, seguido se determinó la validación de la prueba por medio del proceso Contrastación de grupos, posteriormente se determinó la confiabilidad de la prueba mediante el proceso División por mitades además, se establecieron los baremos de la prueba y se elaboró el manual del test.

La temática nace de la necesidad de mejorar la transitabilidad peatonal y vehicular que adolece al distrito de José Leonardo Ortiz, especialmente el casco urbano y central del distrito. La presente investigación tuvo el objetivo de elaborar el expediente técnico para pavimentación en la urbanización San Carlos, distrito José Leonardo Ortiz, Provincia Chiclayo, Departamento de Lambayeque. La metodología utilizada fue de tipo mixta, con diseño descriptivo; la población está conformada por el área de pavimentos que representa a la Urbanización, comprendida entre los límites: por el norte con Av. El Dorado; por el sur con Av. Augusto B. Leguía; por el este con la calle Latina, y por el oeste con calle América y Jr. España. Para la recolección de datos se realizó mediante: el estudio de tráfico y de flujo peatonal, estudios hidrológicos, estudio de topografía, estudio de mecánica de suelos, evaluación de impacto ambiental, estudio de canteras, posteriormente se procesó los datos con el propósito de elaborar el expediente. En todo el proceso de la investigación se cumplió con los criterios de rigor ético y científico. Se obtuvieron como resultados: un presupuesto de ejecución de obra de S/. 21,725,749.22 incluido igv, se empleará un pavimento intertrabado con espesores de: adoquín 8 cm, cama de arena de 4 cm y base granular de 15 cm; concluyendo que la obra será ejecutada en un periodo de 240 días calendarios.

Uno de los grandes problemas que nuestras ciudades atraviesan es la ausencia de infraestructuras o espacios necesarios para el desarrollo de los ciudadanos, haciendo de nuestra sociedad un territorio fragmentado y desigual donde no todos cuentan con las mismas oportunidades. La investigación surge tras reconocer la escasez de espacios deportivos y de recreación pública activa con respecto a la población demandante. dicha problemática da origen a la siguiente pregunta ¿Cómo una red de espacios deportivos y recreación activa en el Sector 01 del distrito de José Leonardo Ortiz logrará articular y disminuir su déficit de infraestructura deportiva y recreación activa? Es por ello que la exploración inicia reconociendo cuantitativa y cualitativamente el déficit de dichos espacios. En una segunda etapa se analiza el estado actual del territorio en estudio, obteniendo un conjunto de resultados que permite identificar las zonas críticas y las áreas de oportunidad. La tercera etapa consistió en realizar un estudio de intervenciones análogas en el ámbito de redes deportivas, de esta manera se obtuvo la capacidad de plantear la red de espacios deportivos y recreación activa. Tras el planteamiento de la red de espacios deportivos y recreación activa en el sector 01 del distrito de José Leonardo Ortiz se concluye que este tipo de intervención coadyuvará a reducir el déficit encontrado, además permitirá un adecuado desarrollo urbano, ambiental y social de la ciudad.

The effects of propagation of a short internal gravity wave through an inertia wave on internal wave stability is analyzed and parameterized. The interactions are specifically between a short wave packet and a large inertia wave packet. The short wave packet is a wave bounded with a Gaussian envelope with high frequencies and scales in the hundreds of meters horizontally and tens of meters vertically. The inertia wave packet is also an enveloped wave but with frequencies close to the rotation of the earth and scales in the thousands of meters in the horizontal and hundreds of meters in the vertical. The wave-wave interactions are modeled using ray theory and 2d non-linear numerical models. Ray tracing is used because it is less computationally expensive, however it fails at regions of strong refraction also known as caustics. To measure stability the steepness is calculated from the 2d non-linear methods and it is compared with estimates found in the linear theory. It is determined that the estimates of the short wave steepness from linear theory are qualitatively comparable. A quantifiable comparison, although more difficult, resulted in adjustment factors to the ray tracing results. It is also found that for the particular cases modeled, convective instabilities are predominant and the influence of the shear exerted by the large inertia wave is insignificant. Instability time scales are included in the stability analysis and estimates of overturning and wave-breaking are developed for different wave-wave interactions. From the stability analysis it is found that in general the faster the short wave propagates the more likely it is to conform to both of the conditions required for wave breaking (i.e presence of instabilities and instability time scales longer than the timescale of the short wave).

Laurence Bernard-Pradelle’s Leonardo Bruni Aretino: Histoire, e´loquence et poe´sie a` Florence au de´but du Quattrocento seeks to broaden Bruni’s appeal among readers of French. Toward this end, the book offers an extensive introduction to the life and works of Leonardo Bruni. It also includes new Latin editions of several of Bruni’s shorter works with facing-page French translations. The book concludes with a lengthy bibliography. The volume’s primary interest for readers of English will be Bernard-Pradelle’s detailed and learned analysis of Bruni’s sources for the texts published in the volume

By the second decade of the twenty-first century, the preponderance of scholarship examining oil paintings made on stone slabs or metal sheets in Western Europe during the early modern period (fifteenth–eighteenth centuries) had settled on an interpretation of these artworks as artifacts of an elite taste that sought objects for inclusion in private collections of whatever was rare, curious, exquisite, or ingenious. In a cabinet of curiosities, naturalia formed by nature and artificialia made by man all complemented each other as demonstrations of marvelous things (mirabilia). Certainly small-scale paintings on stone or metal exhibited amidst these kinds of rarities aided in aggrandizing a noble or bourgeois collector’s social prestige. As well, they might have derived their interest as collectables because of the painter’s fame or increased capacity for miniaturization on copper plates, or because the painter left a slab of lapis lazuli, for example, partially uncovered to reveal its visually arresting stratigraphy or coloration. Nonetheless, while the lithic and metallic supports might have added value to the oil paintings it was not thought to add meaning. A totalizing theory about this type of artwork, based on a perception of them as if they had only served as conspicuous consumables, therefore overlooks that in other circumstances the stone and metal supports did contribute to the iconographic substance of the paintings. As this dissertation will argue, the introduction of metal and stone supports allowed patrons and painters literally to add another layer of meaning to an oil painting’s imagery. These materials mattered not just as passive receptacles of meaning but as active shapers of significance. Evidence for this hypothesis exists in the historical record in at least three identifiable contexts: Leonardo da Vinci’s Portrait of Ginevra de’Benci (ca. 1474–1478) in relation to the epistemological debate known as the Paragone; funerary monuments in Roman churches inclusive of painted portraits in relation to theories about color and lifelikeness; medallion-shaped, chest plates known as Escudos de monjas (Nuns’ Shields) worn by nuns of some religious orders in Colonial Mexico in relation to pre-Hispanic sacral materials. All three of these case studies ultimately concern the paradoxical materialization of the immaterial fame of the painter, the soul of the deceased, and the Christian divine. Observing them in tandem provides an outline of the origins and development of the technique of painting with oils on stone and metal, and consequently broadens our understanding of this wider, early modern phenomenon. / Art History

Följande studie undersökte Before the Flood, en dokumentärfilm av och med Leonardo DiCaprio, utifrån ett retoriskt perspektiv. Studiens syfte var att undersöka om och i så fall på vilket sätt Leonardo DiCaprio, experter och skaparna bakom dokumentärfilmen använde retoriska strategier för att förstärka Before the Flood’s budskap och verka övertygande inför sin publik. Som metod tillämpade studien kvalitativ textanalys och de tre grundläggande appellformerna, visuell retorik samt argumentation var studiens analysverktyg. Analysen resulterade i nio olika analysenheter, tre för varje analysverktyg. Fokus lades på de tre grundläggande appellformerna: ethos, logos och pathos. Analysen fokuserade på visuella bilder, kroppsspråk och gestikulering samt kameravinklar inom visuell retorik. Bildargumentation, hotargumentation samt auktoritetsargumentation var de tre analysenheterna för argumentationsdelen. Vidare diskuterades användningen av inflytelserika personer som argument för förändring i ett visst beteende och hur användningen av retoriken kan spela en betydande roll för förstärkandet av budskapet. Resultatet visade att retoriska strategier används i Before the Flood. Både DiCaprio och experterna använder retoriska appellformer och olika typer av argument för att verka övertygande inför tittarna. Studien visade också att det fanns ett samspel mellan de retoriska appellformerna och argumentationen. Samspelet var viktigt för att förstärka dokumentärfilmens anspelning på känslor och dess trovärdighet. Slutligen har dokumentärfilmens skapare tillämpat visuella medel för att förstärka appellformerna och argumentationen, vilket resulterade i att budskapet i Before the Flood förstärktes. / Following study examined Before the Flood, a documentary film by and with Leonardo DiCaprio, from a rhetorical perspective. The purpose of the study was to see if and in what ways Leonardo DiCaprio, experts and the creators of the documentary film applied rhetorical strategies to strengthen the message of Before the Flood and how to seem convincing to the audience. The study applied a qualitative text analysis as a method and the three appeal forms, visual rhetoric and argumentation were the analysis tools of the study. The result showed nine different analysis units, three for each analysis tool. Focus was put on ethos, logos and pathos as the rhetoric’s three different appeal forms. It also focused on visual images, body language and camera angles. Furthermore, the analysis focused on three different kinds of argumentation: images, threats and authorities. The study discussed the use of influential people as an argument to convince viewers to change in certain behaviour. Further, the study discussed how the use of rhetoric could play a major role in the strengthening of the message. The result showed that rhetorical strategies are used in Before the Flood. Both DiCaprio and the experts are using the rhetoric appeal forms and different kinds of arguments to seem convincing to the audience. The study demonstrated that there is an interaction between the rhetorical appeal forms and the argumentation, and the interaction is important to strengthen the emotions and the credibility of the documentary film. Lastly, the creators of Before the Flood have also applied visual tools to strengthen the emotions and argumentation, which resulted in a more reinforcing message.
