L'arbre sans tronc : Les Fleurs du mal de Charles Baudelaire en hébreu : présence, influence, traductions / The trunkless tree : Baudelaire's Flowers of Evil in hebrew

Manor, Dory 02 March 2017 (has links)
This thesis examines the history of the reception and of the immanence of Charles Baudelaire in Modern Hebrew poetry through the influence of his work on original poetic work in Hebrew and through the translations of his poems into Hebrew. As part of the latter, a detailed comparative analysis is offered of some of Baudelaire’s poems translated into Hebrew and published through the 20th century. In examining these questions we wish to examine the extent to which one may trace a correlation between, on the one hand, the translation and reception of Baudelaire’s poetry and, on the other hand, the exceptionally rapid evolution of Modern Hebrew poetic language. In every generation of Modern Hebrew poetry, Baudelaire was translated by major authors. This significant interest in his poetry can be attributed, among other reasons, to the constructive role that such translation plays in Hebrew. For, in the Hebrew context, Baudelaire's poetry has a unique role: he is both a keystone of Modern poetry in general and the starting point of Modern Hebrew poetry in particular.Modern Hebrew poetry can be compared to a tree without a trunk: Its roots – the classical Hebrew texts – are ancient and deep. Its crown – the New Hebrew creation of the last 120 years – is fresh and green. But what keeps it standing are its branches that lean on the rich offshoots of its neighbours in the forest: the foreign poetic corpora which have always nourished this young literature, born modern. Translating Baudelaire into Modern Hebrew implies, symbolically, a contribution to the retrospective grafting of a trunk to the tree.

As dobras do texto - trajetória da obra de João Guimarães Rosa pelo sertão / The folds of the text - trajectory of the work of Guimarães Rosa by the sertão

Ziani, Elizabeth Maria 01 September 2017 (has links)
This thesis is based on experiences with the literature of Guimarães Rosa in the hinterland of Minas Gerais and emphasizes aspects of the return of his work to certain localities, constituting what we define as Literary Territory. Some elements contributed to this process: representation of the real in the work; Reception of the work generating actions around reading; Creations in other languages. The creative process of the writer and his strategies for observing reality and making it the raw material of his creation are observed from records located in his archive at Instituto de Estudos Brasileiros / USP-SP. To observe the course of the work in the backlands, artistic projects and researches are presented; those show the work as a mobilizer of experiences in the reality of the backlands. It is worth mentioning the expedition The Fools by Rosa (1995) as the beginning of a collective project in Cordisburgo, Morro da Garça and Andrequicé / Três Marias, (cities of reference of life and work of the writer)and as what started the initiatives that were established in these Places: cultural week; Narration of literary texts of color; The embroidery and others. The adaptations of text to oral narration are presented by the projects Contadores de Histórias Miguilim and Caminhos do Sertão, both developed in Cordisburgo. In the recreation of his work in image are highlighted a few artistic projects: in painting, the work of plastic artist José Murilo; In embroidery, collective experiences in the cities, showing techniques and methods used. Some artistic projects that recreate his work in imagery are highlighted, such as: work of plastic artist José Murilo in painting; collective experiences in the cities, showing techniques and methods used in embroidery. In this perspective, the Literary Territory proposition is based on the paths of the work between space, sounds, image and several other literary actions, which resulted in the valorization of the local culture and in the relationship established by the communities with their Territory, revitalized because of the literature.

Kronika o Štilfrídovi a Kronika o Bruncvíkovi - srovnání rytířské povídky a knížky lidového čtení / Kronika o Štylfrýdovi" and "Kronika o Bruncvíkovi" - Comparing knightly story and the book of native reading

TRUHLÁŘOVÁ, Veronika January 2017 (has links)
This diploma thesis is going to focus on a comparison of a traditional knight´s short story and an early modern folk reading of the Chronicles of "Štifríd" and "Bruncvík"; the focus will be primarily on differences of the two texts. Narratives in Czech literature were repeatedly used in different time periods and in texts of various genres: from the allegorical knight's short story in the end of the 14th century to the early modern funny book of folk reading or even e.g. a folclore fairytale in the 19th century. The starting point for the work will be, therefore, an introduction of the interpretation attempts aimed at the filliation of handwritten and printed editions of the two narratives (Jaroslav Kolár's study), then an actual composition of the work (Hana Mirvaldová - Šmahelová's study) and also an allegorical presentation (Jaroslav Kolár's story). The main part of the thesis is an analysis of the handwritten releases from the turn of the 14th and 15th century and the printed edition from the 18th century, and their mutual comparison.
