The Study of the Critical Success Factors in medical-network Service Innovation System ¡V A Case of Ma-Kuang Healthcare Group , TaiwanKuo, Wei-pei 06 September 2011 (has links)
The Legal Foundation crosses into medical treatment service industry gradually in recent years, even become to be the situation that the bigger the stronger and forming the trend of medical-network. However, the medical treatment resource close to saturation, and the National Health Insurance Bureau¡¦s (NHIB) finance gradually are tightened, the medical treatment service industry faces a high competition, those tough situations force manager ¡¥s contingency ability, manage mechanism, execution and strategy performance. One way that encouraged citizens¡¦ cure will is doing serving innovation for the hospitals and clinics.
This study discusses critical success factors in medical-network Service Innovation System, we adopted case study and chosen one of medical-network which is reputed by it good management to analyze.
Through conducing depth interview with executive, top managers and Chinese medicine industry expert, we used Rob Bilderbeek and Pim Den Hertog¡¦s Service Innovation System as this study¡¦s foundation, then used Grounded Theory (GT) to carry on data analysis; besides, we also reviewed related substantial evidence and theories to look for a key factor and element which affect the Critical Success Factors in medical-network Service Innovation System.
From our study, we found the Critical Success Factors in medical-network Service Innovation System is: For the construction surface of ¡§ New service concept¡¨ is to establish the membership, build the innate brand commodity, multiple serves and enterprise management pattern. For the construction surface of ¡§the new service concept¡¨ is customer relationship management, commercial promotion. For the construction surface of ¡§the new service transmission system¡¨ is to improve the hardware system, customer participation and using the social group website. For the construction surface of ¡§the new technical option¡¨ is using medical auxiliary apparatus and building POS system. We hope above findings could provide reference related to the medical chain system service innovation for the future research.

Robust Run Order for Experimental Designs in Simple Linear Regression with MA ErrorsChiou, Guo-huai 16 July 2004 (has links)
In this work, a method to choose the best run order for a given experimental design is proposed, for the simple linear regression model with MA errors. More specifically we investigate the best run order of an uniform design when errors follow a MA(1) or a subset MA(k) process where k is a positive integer. The correlation matrix P resulting from the errors is usually difficult to obtain a good estimate. Using the change of variance function(CVF) to see the relation of the uncorrelated and the
serially correlated errors. Criterion proposed by Zhou (2001), we find the best run order of the uniform design on [-1,1] to minimize the robust criterion, |CVF|. We will display the permutation of a run order after rearrangement by our method and show how the structure is decomposed into three categories to solve the problem.

Stady on Land acquisition Issue During the Water Resources Development of Sourthern Taiwan RegionLiou, He-Liang 24 August 2006 (has links)
The purpose of the research is to study the solutions for the difficulties encountered in the water resources development in southern Taiwan. In the recent years, Owing to the phenomenon of global warming, many countries in the world experienced more powerful flood and longer drought then before. The water resources development of southern Taiwan is very difficult not only because the limitation of the weather and geographical condition, but also the hinder of the inner and outside factors of government organizations.
The inner factors majorly include : The opinions of central government and local government cannot be integrated effectively like the old province government and results in the suspension of the engineering land acquisition. The authority¡¦s policy of water resource development is unstable, which also make the situation worse.
The outside factors majorly includes: The intention of the local government authority can be affected easily by the effect of NIMBY and the pressure of environmental protection group, which causes the problem of land acquisition becoming more complicated and harder to resolve.
This paper trys to study the cases of Ma-Tan Reservoir and Tseng-Wen Reservoir Transbasin Water diversion project, based on the efficiency of the land acquisition of the province government, to analyse the inner and outside factors and the dealing mechanism of government to provide some suggestions for the government.

Characterization Of Serpentine Filled PolypropyleneCan, Semra 01 March 2008 (has links) (PDF)
ABSTRACT
CHARACTERIZATION OF SERPENTINE FILLED POLYPROPYLENE
Can, Semra
Ph.D., Department of Polymer Science and Technology
Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Teoman Tinç / er
March 2008, 158 pages
In this study, the aim is to prepare polypropylene (PP)/serpentine composites and study their mechanical, thermal and morphological properties. Another objective is to explore whether it is possible to have PP/serpentine nanocomposites with melt intercalation method by using the advantage of the layer silicate structure of serpentine. The most widely used fillers in PP are talc and mica which belong to the phyllosilicates group of silicate minerals. So far, there has been almost no study employing serpentine as filler in either any polymers or PP, although it also belongs to the same group of minerals as talc and mica.
Accordingly, it was planned to divide the work into the study of two groups. In group 1, for the compositions with 2, 5, 10 and 20 wt% serpentine, the particulate filler effects of serpentine both alone and in the presence of surface treatments with hydrochloric acid (HCl) and silane coupling agent (SCA) were investigated. The most impressive results in terms of static and dynamic mechanical properties were achieved with SCA rather than HCl. When the effect of serpentine without
any treatment is considered, reinforcing effect of it can easily be observed without deteriorating the composite properties even at high filler loadings.
In group 2, the nanofiller effects of serpentine in 2 and 5 wt% filled compositions by modification of both the filler and the matrix were aimed to be examined with melt intercalation method. In addition to HCl and SCA treatments, maleic anhydride grafted polypropylene (PP-g-MA) and quaternary ammonium salt (QAS) of cetyl-trimethyl-ammonium bromide were used as compatibilizer and intercalating agent, respectively. While the amount of QAS was kept constant, different percentages of compatibilizer were employed. The presence of QAS and PP-g-MA further improved the properties with respect to group 1 members. Interestingly, the percentage strain at break values did not decrease as much as group 1 compositions with the same filler content. It can be concluded that partial intercalation of group 2 compositions was achieved, according to the X-ray and TEM results.
Keywords: Serpentine, PP/serpentine composites, SCA, PP-g-MA, serpentine nanocomposites

A Comparative Analysis Of Thesis Guidelines And Master Thesis Abstracts Written In English At Universities In Turkey And In The UsaUlker Eser, Meltem 01 February 2012 (has links) (PDF)
This study examines master of art (MA) theses abstracts written in English in terms of their texual structures. In order to design a comparative study, abstracts are collected from universities (i) with a guideline in Turkey (ii) without a guideline in Turkey and (iii) with a guideline in the USA. 94 abstracts, randomly selected from these three groups of universities, are analyzed according to a content criteria list
developed on the basis of Swales (1981, 1990, 2004), and Hyland&rsquo / s (2000) textual structure models and content instructions provided in thesis writing guidelines. The
analysis of data is accomplished using MS Excel 2010 ve SPSS 16.0. The comparison between abstracts written at universities with and without a guideline in
Turkey revealed a significant difference in terms of methodology and statement of the problem. Also, with regards to the order of the rhetorical elements
(Introduction+Methodology+Results+Conclusion), universities with a guideline in Turkey displayed more consistency than the universities without a guideline. As for the comparison between the universities with a guideline in Turkey and the USA, the results showed that there is a significant difference between the two abstract sets in terms of their methodology, results, and conclusion parts. Besides, the texual pattern
analysis showed that abstracts collected from universities with a guideline in Turkey follow a more consistent order than their counterparts in the USA. The results of the thesis have pedagogical implicatons for students, teachers, academics who prepare thesis writing guidelines, and researchers who want to make publications internationally.

The effect of normalization methods on the identification of differentially expressed genes in microarray dataKristinsson, Vilhelm Yngvi January 2007 (has links)
<p>In this thesis the effect of normalization methods on the identification of differentially expressed genes is investigated. A zebrafish microarray dataset called Swirl was used in this thesis work. First the Swirl dataset was extracted and visualized to view if the robust spline and print tip loess normalization methods are appropriate to normalize this dataset. The dataset was then normalized with the two normalization methods and the differentially expressed genes were identified with the LimmaGUI program. The results were then evaluated by investigating which genes overlap after applying different normalization methods and which ones are identified uniquely after applying the different methods. The results showed that after the normalization methods were applied the differentially expressed genes that were identified by the LimmaGUI program did differ to some extent but the difference was not considered to be major. Thus the main conclusion is that the choice of normalization method does not have a major effect on the resulting list of differentially expressed genes.</p>
